What Did You Just Call Me?
Attack on Titan - Levi x Reader || smut, fem!Reader, daddy, petnames, begging, a tiny bit of spanking honestly I should've written more maybe I'll write a spanking piece next, creampie
Word Count: 850
Tumblr media
This artwork has just got me wanting to do the most unholy things with him. It's got me feeling things. Thinking of doing a series just dedicated to this art tbh.
Update: Yeah, there's more.
This is the first piece in my Daddy series - a series of short pieces inspired by the Karatetsu/Karatez black suit official art. "Daddy" || Spanking || more to come...
Tumblr media
“What did you just say?”
Neither of you could quite believe it. The word just slipped from your mouth. Like honey dripping off your tongue. Levi immediately stopped thrusting into you, leaning down over you, the soft fabric of his shirt caressing your back. It made you shiver. One of his gloved hands found your throat. He held you firmly in place, forcing your head up to look in the mirror in front of you. He was still inside you, your pussy pulsing around him with want. “Look at me. What did you just call me?” he asked, voice low with his desire, a dangerous undercurrent running through it.
You swallowed hard, summoning all your courage to look him in the eyes through the mirror. Your heart pounded so loud in your chest you were convinced he must be able to hear it, to feel it under his hand. His steely eyes captured you and you felt yourself giving into him.
“D-Daddy.” Your voice cracked.
Levi inhaled sharply, his cock twitching inside you. He squeezed your throat ever so slightly, not enough to cut off your breathing but enough to set your core ablaze again. You gasped at the sensation. He had you burning up and there was nothing you could do about it. You needed him to move inside you. You needed to feel it.
“Does my pretty girl want more?” he growled. “Ask nicely.”
You moaned. He knew how much it embarrassed you to behave like this. You wanted to look away, but you knew he’d be pissed if you did. You knew you couldn’t delay unless you wanted him to torment you endlessly tonight. Which you kinda did, but you weren’t sure your body could handle much more. He was breaking you and it felt so damn good.
“P-Please fuck me more, daddy,” you whimpered. The desperation in your words made you want to lower your head in shame, cheeks turning a delicious shade of pink for him.
But your eyes never left his. You saw the glint in them as he absorbed your words. You saw his satisfaction.
He let go of your throat, letting you drop back down on the bed, and pulled back to spank you hard. Levi loved the way you yelped for him, especially as he started fucking you hard again, slamming into you so relentlessly you knew you would have trouble sitting tomorrow. His palm found your ass cheek again, the mixed sound of skin-on-skin and your pathetic little yelp reverberating through the room. Pink marks flared on your skin.
“That’s my girl,” he hissed. “That’s my pretty girl. Take all of me. Fuck.”
You pressed your face into the bed, ass in the air for him. The sound of your wet pussy filled the room, making you blush even more furiously as he pounded into you. He loved the noises you made. He especially loved your little whimpers as you got closer and closer. He always knew when you were about to come undone under him, but there was something so sweet about hearing it directly from you.
“Don’t cum,” he commanded. He swatted your ass again when you groaned. “Not yet, my pretty little slut. Beg for it.”
You trembled under him. You weren’t going to be able to hold it. You could either disappoint him, cumming selfishly over his cock anyway, or…
“Please,” you whimpered, words spilling out of your mouth one after another without any further hesitation. “Please let me cum, daddy. I can’t hold it much longer.”
Oh, that made him happy. His fingers gripped your hips tight, a delicious moan melting from his throat. “Cum for me, baby. I’m right here with you.”
You didn’t need telling twice. You trembled underneath him as your climax tore through you. The heat within you seemed to spill out along with all the tension and pressure in your body. You whined and cried out for him and in return Levi reached forward, grabbing your hand and intertwining his gloved fingers with your bare skin. His hips pistoned in and out, whispering words you couldn’t quite comprehend as pleasure threatened to drown you entirely. You were aware of him pushing deep inside you, squeezing your hand as he found his own release.
For a while you stayed in that position, your heavy panting filling the silent void of the room. He carefully guided you down onto your side, pulling your back against his chest. He held you close against him, wrapped in his silent warmth, one hand brushing through your hair, providing you with the safety you so desired.
“Well done,” he whispered. “My pretty girl did so well for me.”
Levi gently kissed your hair. His touch was so light and delicate, a stark contrast from his brutal love of only minutes earlier. Your eyes fluttered shut, a content sigh escaping your lips as you drifted off for just a little while surrounded by his sweet affection, his cum leaking out of you, pooling on your thigh. A constant reminder of his love.
hey @humanitys-strongest-bamf I finally finished it

word count: 4.1 k
Chapter Two:
Your fancon is a success. Both nights sell out, and livestream tickets have been sold in the hundreds of thousands. Now, you and the girls are gearing up for your February comeback. You’re releasing another mini album - Love is Magic - on Valentine’s Day, and everyone at Tunez is stressed. This album has to be a hit after your successful debut. So far, pre orders have surpassed those of your debut, and it feels like everyone has their eyes on MAJ1K.
Days pass in the studio, in the practice room, and eventually you’re filming the music video for your new title track - ‘Black Magic’. It’s a song about using magic and falling in love. Typical bubblegum pop love song. You like the song, it’s fun and lively, and you think the public will like it as well. However, you hope that you’ll get to help write on the next album. You really want to perform music that you can relate to, that helps express you.
The comeback is teased and promoted, three concepts and member versions of the album have been announced and prepared. You can feel the stress radiating from your team whenever there’s a meeting: everything has to be perfect, this release has to be the release of the year.
You’re grateful for a strong team that supports you as you want to do well, you want to leave a mark in the industry. At the same time, however, you hate that chart numbers and money are determining the direction your music is taking. You don’t want to make music for the charts; you want to make it for yourself, for your members, for your fans.
You keep your mouth shut, knowing that there’s no point in saying anything. You’d signed the contract willingly, chasing your dream of debuting, and nowhere in the contract did it say you could take part in deciding your music. You’d made your bed, and now you had to lie in it.
So days blew, and pretty soon it was comeback day. The comeback would be released on what was the evening of February 14th in Korea. All day you were restless, nervous for the public’s response. You knew they would like it - the title was a fun, light song that people would enjoy - but part of you was wondering what would happen if they didn’t. Would Tunez give up on MAJ1K? You thought of less popular groups under HYBE, under Starship, and the lack of attention and promotion the companies gave to those groups. What if MAJ1K ended up like them?
You were sitting in a lounge in the Starship building with the girls, all four of you at a circular table in comfy chairs, occasionally sipping the drinks in front of you. Wonyoung and Chaewon had iced Americanos, Yunjin had an iced Chai latte, and you had an iced caramel latte. You loved iced caramel lattes, but you were having a hard time touching your drink today. Your stomach was in knots, and you felt like you were gonna vomit.
“Ah, look who it is,” you jumped at the sudden noise. You and the girls had been quiet, scared of saying anything in fear of somehow jinxing your album release. You were also the only ones in the lounge, so it had been incredibly quiet. Until now. “Our juniors. Big day today, huh?”
You looked up to see one of your seniors in Starship, WJSN’s Dayoung. She was currently sporting a head of blonde hair, long and wavy, down a few inches past her shoulders. She had a big grin on her face, eyes bright and lively. If you knew anything about Dayoung, it was that she was always energetic and loud. You wondered how she did it.
“Are you scared it’ll flop?” she asked.
“Hey, Dayoung, don’t say that,” you turned, coming face to face with Exy. You freeze. Exy is only one of the most talented idols in the industry (you don’t understand how more people aren’t fans). She not only leads, raps, and dances, but she also writes and produces the majority of her group’s music. WJSN are unique in the industry in that sense - their leader is part of the writing process for many of their songs. You admire that about them. You also really admire and look up to Exy - one of the reasons you liked Starship and wanted to be under them was to get the opportunity to write and produce with her one day.
“The company won’t like it if you stress our juniors out,” she continues. She then addresses you and the girls, saying, “Don’t worry, this comeback will do well. I heard it and it’s amazing, just what the public needs.”
You don’t say anything, not trusting your mouth to work.
“Also,” adds Dayoung, “it’s not like you can do anything about it anyways. At this point, what will happen is what’s meant to happen. If it flops, it flops, no big deal. You can always do better next time.”
“So you think it might flop?” asks Yunjin, eyes swimming with anxiety.
“No, what I meant-” Dayoung starts, before Exy interrupts her.
“It won’t flop. Trust me. Don’t trust her,” says Exy, playfully hitting Dayoung’s shoulder, “she’s a maknae. She doesn’t know what she’s talking about.”
“Age discrimination,” is all Dayoung says. She then glances at her phone, sighs, “Nice meeting you. I have to get going.”
You bow in response.
“I should probably go as well,” says Exy. “Don’t stress too much, though. And next comeback, we should get in the studio together. I’d love to work on a song with you all.”
You all bid her farewell, and then you’re in shock.
“Writing a song with her?” Yunjin says. “When will our next comeback be?”
Chaewon laughs, “Slow down. We haven’t even had this one yet. I’m assuming the next one won’t be until June at least. It shouldn’t be till August, really, but this company is pushing us so much it might happen as early as June.”
“I can’t wait,” Yunjin decides. “I need to work on a song with Exy sunbaenim. We can win Song of the Year together.”
You shake your head, “And here I thought you were an artist. Pitiful. Going after awards.”
Yunjin rolls her eyes, “Come on, we all know you want a SOTY. We all do.”
You shrug, “It would be nice. Won’t go out of my way for it, however. Award shows are always so political. Look at the Grammys.”
“Fair point,” says Yunjin.
“I wonder if we could win an award with this comeback,” says Chaewon. “That would be nice.”
You shrug, “I hope we don’t. I want to win an award for the music we took part in.”
Chaewon frowns, “Don’t you want the group to be successful? If we win an award with this album, maybe we’ll get a longer break. Maybe they’ll get off our backs.”
Your leader sounds exhausted. Now you understand why she wants to win.
“You have a point,” you say.
A few hours pass, conversation here and there, mostly silence. Pretty soon, you and the girls are in a van, on your way to Mnet for your comeback show. You get dressed, get your hair and makeup done, and then it’s go-time.
You perform the title track (‘Black Magic’), as well as two b-sides you’re promoting. Fans cheer loudly, waving their lightsticks - the official lightstick had been released shortly before your fancon, it was shaped like a wand.
The comeback show goes well, and you think your management are satisfied - you made a point to sing live whenever you could.
It’s in the van on the way back to your dorms after your first promotion that Wonyoung looks up from her phone with a smirk.
“Guess who went live an hour ago and started talking about us?” she asks, holding up her phone.
You squint at the phone, making out the letters.
“Jake sunbaenim talked about us again on live?!” exclaims Yunjin. “We all know why.”
You sigh, “Unnie, he doesn’t-”
“He likes you,” says Chaewon.
“Well then he should say something,” you say.
“You know it’s not that easy,” says Wonyoung. “He seems so sweet though, and he won’t shut up about you.” She scrolls on her phone, before showing you stan Twitter. “He specifically mentioned the part of the song where you have a high note. He said that’s his favorite part.”
Admittedly, you like hearing that. You feel incompetent sometimes compared to the others - Chaewon and Wonyoung are well-known, established idols, and Yunjin is trained in opera, and therefore known for her vocals. You love them, you’re proud of them, but you feel talentless sometimes next to them, so hearing that makes you feel warm inside.
“That’s sweet,” you say.
~~
You happen to be in the HYBE building the following weekend. You’ve successfully completed your first week of promotions (2 more to go!) and are in the HYBE building for practice, a meeting, and content shooting.
“Y/N! You must be exhausted from promotions, huh?” you’re sitting in one of HYBE’s lounges with the other girls - you have an hour to yourselves as you’ve finished your tasks for the day. “Hello everyone.” Your brother walks in with a grin on his face.
“Hi,” you say. “What are you doing here?”
“Comeback preparations,” he says. “Don’t tell anyone,” he glances around, “but we’re having a comeback in May.”
“Nice,” you say, “have you started on the songs?”
Soobin nods, “We’re working on the songs right now. I’m really excited for these songs, they’re coming together really well. We also have some fun concepts, switching it up a bit from our last era. They’re also planning a tour for us, so that’s exciting as well.”
“That’s great!” you exclaim, happy for your brother. You’re glad that he’s so excited about his career, and his music. You hope that you can feel the same way about your music one day.
“The comeback was excellent,” he continues, “the title is doing well on the charts. I’m streaming faithfully everyday.”
“Aww,” says Yunjin. “Thank you. I didn’t know we had such dedicated fans at HYBE.”
Soobin laughs, “You do. We’re not the only ones, ENHYPEN are pretty enthusiastic about you all as well.” he says, glancing at you. “Anyways, I have to get going. Fighting, girls, for your promotions!”
You all thank him, and he leaves.
“Maybe he knows something we don’t,” says Chaewon.
“He’s friends with them,” you say. “ENHYPEN sunbaenim, I mean. Him and Heeseung sunbaenim were pretty tight when they were all trainees.”
“So we have someone on the inside,” Yunjin says, and you all laugh.
Soon enough, it’s time to head back to the dorms for the day, and you’re walking in the hallway when you bump into him. Of course.
“Oh, hi,” says Jake, before bowing politely. You bow in response, and he goes, “Congratulations on your comeback. It’s really good, I listened to it.”
“Thank you,” you say.
“We listened to your latest comeback as well,” says Chaewon, “Dimension: Answer. Y/N’s obsessed with ‘Polaroid Love’.”
Jake smiles, blushing, “Thank you, that’s great.” He then turns to you, “So you’re listening to our music now?”
You nod, looking at the floor, not wanting to make eye contact. “I’m pleased that my seniors make good music.”
He chuckles, and it’s music to your ears, “That’s nice to hear. Well, I don’t want to hold you all up, you must be tired, promotions and all. Have a good evening.”
You all thank him, bidding him farewell, before leaving the building.
Later that night, you find yourself looking for Jake’s most recent live. You can’t help yourself - you want to hear it for yourself. You find it easily enough - it was the group’s most recent live, and Weverse is a relatively easy platform to use.
“Hi everyone,” Jake says, waving to the camera. He’s smiling. His golden hair is unstyled, bangs falling onto his forehead. “We’ll just wait a bit for more people to join.”
You watch, waiting, and after what feels like forever, Jake finally starts talking. He thanks his fans for their support, he updates him on himself, on ENHYPEN. He then starts responding to fans who are typing in the chat.
“Ah, I see someone mentioning MAJ1K. Yes, I did listen to their comeback, it’s really good.” He turns slightly, doing something offscreen. Next thing you know, ‘Black Magic’ is playing, and Jake is vibing. “Yes! Let’s dance everyone!”
It’s endearing - Jake is doing parts of the choreo in his seat, and fans are filling the chat with dancing emojis.
He’s so sweet, you find yourself thinking. You can’t argue with it either - he’s promoting your group, and being so kind despite no obligation to be. He’s just a nice person.
The song continues playing, and Jake pauses right after the high note, rewinding and playing it again. He laughs, “That’s such a great bit right there. It’s my favorite part of the song.”
You’re smiling at your phone now. You just got complimented by one of your seniors, and you couldn’t be happier.
“I knew you liked him,” you jump, startled when you look up to see Wonyoung.
“Jesus, you scared the shit out of me,” you say, dramatically putting a hand over your heart.
“Did I? Where is it?” she retorts, and you roll your eyes. “I just came here to tell you that we’re planning on watching a movie together in the main room. So quit looking at Jake for 5 seconds and spend quality time with your best friends.”
You frown, pretending to look confused, “But my best friends are back in Ansan?”
“Hey!” says Wonyoung, playfully hitting your shoulder.
“I was just joking. I’ll be there in a minute.”
“You better,” says your maknae, before walking out of your room.
You look at the live one last time, at the joy in Jake’s eyes, and the way his hair is shining, before sighing and putting your phone down.
~~
You find yourself looking for Jake after that night. You wonder if there’s a chance he tagged along when you appear on Music Bank. He isn’t there - obviously - but you feel like you’re getting a piece of him in your interview with Sunghoon - the blonde mentions how much his group is enjoying MAJ1K’s comeback.
MAJ1K also gets a longer break after the comeback, and your next comeback isn’t scheduled till July.
July.
ENHYPEN has their comeback scheduled for July as well.
You can’t help but grin in the meeting, and you know it shocks your team - February to July is still only 4 months, not much of a break - but you don’t give an explanation.
You’re not supposed to like that MAJ1K and ENHYPEN are promoting at the same time. But you do.
~~
Manifesto: Day 1 takes everyone by surprise. In the best way possible.
You’re shocked at the change - their title tracks no longer have hyphens, and the song itself is so different from what they usually do. You like it though, it feels cool and powerful.
You get to watch them perform ‘Future Perfect’ and ‘TFW’ from backstage on Music Bank, and when all the promoting idols are crammed on stage to see who’s winning an award, you find yourself looking at Jake.
His hands are interlocked in front of him, head tilted downwards. You think that his eyes are closed - you can’t tell because of his visor. When ENHYPEN wins, he jumps up, seemingly taken aback, before throwing his head back with a smile and embracing his bandmates.
You make eye contact with him while walking off-stage, and send him a smile. He smiles back, nods to you.
ENHYPEN do their live celebration, and you hear fans cheering loudly. You’re happy for them.
“Look at her, she’s not even sad that we lost,” says Yunjin.
You sigh, “I guess you guys were right.”
“About time you admitted it,” says Chaewon. “I’m happy you’re not lying to yourself anymore.”
“Me too,” you decide.
~~
It’s later that day that you bump into him in the hallway. There’s no one else around - most people have left for the day - and your groups are getting ready to leave. You’re heading back to the green room from getting a bottle of water.
“Oh, hi,” it’s the stupidest way you could’ve greeted him.
“Hello,” he says. “Nice performance today, I’ve loved your comeback.”
You blush at the compliment, “Thank you. Your comeback has been amazing as well. ‘Shout Out’ is an incredible song.”
He grins, “I’m glad you like it. I got to help write it.”
“I heard,” you say. You don’t mention that you’d read his interview, and that you know which specific lines of the song he wrote. “That’s really cool.”
“Ummm,” he puts his hand in his pocket before pulling out his phone. He hesitates, nervous, before handing it to you, “Could I have your number?”
“Sure,” you say, putting it in.
“I just figured,” he starts, trying to offer an explanation, “Um, I like talking to you, so maybe we can talk outside of our random encounters?”
“I’d like that,” you say. “Text me.”
Jake smiles, “I will.”
~~
So you and Jake start texting. It’s pretty casual at first, congratulating one another on wins and promotions, but it quickly turns regular and deep. It becomes conversations about your favorite songs, about why you chose to become idols, dramas you’re watching, what you want for your next comeback.
You find yourself confiding in him, and he confides in you, and it feels nice to have someone outside of your family and outside of your group that you’re so close to.
You’re especially happy to be texting him once he goes on tour. You’re able to stay in touch with him, and he tells you all about performing for international fans and trying deep dish pizza and going shopping in an American mall.
You update him on the industry in Korea, about who had what comeback, and you update him on your own promotions.
After your July comeback, MAJ1K gets a few weeks off from promotions, before promotions start for a Japanese album. Your Japanese album is released in September, with Japanese versions of a few of your songs with an original Japanese song. You promote it, interviewing and signing copies for fans.
In October, MAJ1K has another fancon. In October, ENHYPEN are on tour in the US.
In November, MAJ1K make an appearance at KCON in Japan, where ENHYPEN have a few tour stops. You meet up with Jake for dinner one evening, the night after his birthday.
“Happy belated birthday,” you say, handing him a nicely wrapped box.
“Thank you,” he says, accepting it. “What is it?”
You shrug, “Open it later.”
He nods, putting it to the side.
Dinner with Jake is nice. It’s your first face-to-face interaction in months, but it feels like no time has passed. And even though you both swear that you’re just friends, you can’t help but wonder what it would be like to go out with him romantically. How would dinner be on a date with him?
“Thanks for meeting up with me tonight,” says Jake. “I’m glad we got to have dinner.”
“Thanks for wanting me at your delayed birthday celebration,” you respond, and he chuckles.
“Of course I’d want to have birthday dinner with you,” he says, as if it’s the most obvious thing in the world. “I had a good time tonight. So, when is MAJ1K getting back?”
“Our flight’s the day after tomorrow,” you say. “Tomorrow’s a break day, rest up and sightsee. What about you?”
“We leave tomorrow evening,” he says. “Well, see you next in the HYBE building?”
You nod, grinning. “See you at HYBE.”
He pauses for a moment, as if contemplating something. “Could I…”
“What?”
He shakes his head, “Nevermind.”
You raise an eyebrow at him, “What is it?”
“Um…” he looks uncomfortable. That’s a first. “No, nevermind.”
“Okay, then,” you respond. “See you, then, I guess.”
He nods, “See you.”
~~
“He celebrated his birthday with you, he obviously likes you,” is the first thing Yunjin says to you when you get back to the hotel. You and Yunjin are rooming together.
“Hello to you, too,” you respond.
Yunjin rolls her eyes, before saying, “So, how was it? Romantic, candlelit dinner?”
“Romantic? No. Candlelit? Yes,” you respond.
Yunjin shakes her head, “No. Candlelit dinners are inherently romantic. It’s a cliche in the genre of romance. You’re just in denial.”
You shrug, “If I know I like him, I’m not in denial.”
Yunjin gasps, “When were you gonna tell me?”
“I thought you already knew.”
“I did,” she says, “but I was waiting for you to admit it to yourself. Once you admit it to yourself, you can actually do something about it, ya know?”
“I can’t do anything about it,” you respond. “I’m an idol. He’s an idol. You’re an idol, so you should know.”
“You can just keep it a secret,” she says.
“We have eagle-eyed fans, and so does he. Besides, there’s also Dispatch.”
“Not in the HYBE building,” Yunjin points out. “What happens in the company building stays in the company building.”
“I guess,” you shrug. “But I don’t even know if he likes me back. I don’t want to ruin our friendship.”
Yunjin sighs, “Have I not told you how obvious it is he likes you?”
“You have, but you’re my friend,” you argue.
“I wouldn’t lie to you,” Yunjin said. “Like you said, I’m your friend.”
You sigh. “I don’t want to think about this right now. Relationships, I mean.”
“We can talk more in the morning,” says Yunjin.
~~
You don’t talk in the morning. You also don’t respond to Jake’s text. It’s him asking if MAJ1K would be interested in hanging out with ENHYPEN as they have free time before their flight in the evening. You feel bad about it, but you leave him on read. You’ll make up an excuse later.
“So, how was your date last night?” asks Wonyoung over breakfast.
“It wasn’t a date,” you say, “but it was nice.”
“And I’m the queen of England,” mutters Chaewon.
You roll your eyes at your leader.
“Has he texted? Since your dinner last night?” Yunjin asks.
You nod. “He was talking about us and them hanging out today. They’re flying back tonight, but besides that they’re free.”
“So when and where are we meeting up?” Chaewon asks.
“We’re not,” you respond. “I haven’t responded yet, and I’m not planning on it.”
“Why?” Yunjin asks. “I thought you liked him.”
“I do,” you respond. “That’s why. I don’t want to be near him. It’s too much for me. We’re just friends, and I can’t deal with that.”
“You could change that if you talked to him,” Wonyoung says, but you shake your head.
“Even if he did like me back, it wouldn’t work out. It’s not a good idea. It’ll just get really messy and ruin everyone’s careers in the process.”
~~
You get a few more texts from Jake throughout the day.
jakey: are you guys busy? we still have a few hours… (1 pm)
jakey: well, we have to go now. see you back at hybe? :) (5 pm)
jakey: getting on the plane… i’ll stop annoying you… for now… (7 pm)
You feel bad for leaving him on read, but you don’t know how to respond. You don’t want to respond.
The next day, you get another text from him wishing you a safe flight.
You don’t respond.
~~
You don’t see Jake again till a few weeks later. It’s the New Years Eve Live performance, and it’s rather ironic that you bump into him there. It’s where you’d had your first conversation with him, and now, you saw him again there after avoiding him. The universe seems to like forcing you two to talk on New Years.
You’re walking to the green room with the girls, having just finished performing. ENHYPEN are passing by you in the hallway, getting ready to get on stage.
“Y/N.” It’s your name. You recognize the voice. You’d recognize it anywhere.
“Hi,” you say.
“I have to go right now,” says Jake, “but we’re talking after my performance.” He looks dejected, and you feel bad.
You nod.
“Hyung!” Jungwon calls him, and Jake turns to follow his group. The rest of the ENHYPEN members send him smirks, teasing looks. Except for Ni-Ki, the maknae, who looks at you, before looking at the ground. He looks annoyed.
You walk into the green room, nervous. It’s stupid, really - you and Jake were/are friends. You shouldn’t feel nervous.
You also feel awful - he looked sad, and you know it’s your fault for ignoring his messages.
ENHYPEN’s performance feels like an eternity. And then it’s over.
jakey: let’s talk

Despite me only getting this little idea around 10 hours ago, I’ve managed to write roughly 2k words of this thing. Here is a tiny little bit of it as this is now a WIP because my brain won’t leave it alone despite having 87362574 WIPs to get through. So here is Day 3 of posting an excerpt of a WIP.
“I’d rather spend one life time with you than face all of the ages of this world alone.”
The world was ending. That much was evident. Pierre let out a humorless chuckle as he surveyed the lands surrounding him. Winter had long laid claim to the North, the snow covered hills stood in stark contrast to the thick black smoke moving in from the west as the forests burn. There had been a 4 day battle there and while his men had managed to hold off the enemy soldiers and force them into a retreat, there had been a huge list of casualties.
He sighed and dropped down onto the boulder near the edge of the cliff, scrubbing a hand down his face and holding his head in his hand and just taking time to breathe. Well, as best as he could, anyway. He hadn’t been able to take a full breath in months, not since that night in the castle, not since he...
Pierre sighed again and shook his head, the fierce grip of regret wrapping itself around his windpipe, forcing him to swallow to try to rid himself of the feeling. It was for the best, he knew it and when...Pierre snorted out a laugh, he couldn’t even bring himself to think of his name, the pain was too much and too vivid and too real. He’d give anything to see him one more time, anything to say something ridiculous and watch those dimples appear. It was better this way. He was here, leading the charge, defending the kingdom as he was charged to do and Charles, well, Charles was safe somewhere and when it was safe here he could come back and rule the kingdom that he was predestined to do.
Pierre ignored the way his heart stuttered as he thought of those eyes, and slope of his nose in the early evening sun, the way golden hour really did feel golden in his presence. It was better this way, he reminded himself, Charles was safe and there was never any other choice in the matter. Charles’ safety would take precedence over any and all other decisions he would ever make. Even if that meant he had to live without him.

me: this is a background character who's in one scene, has two lines, and is completely irrelevant to the rest of the story. i am going to stop obsessing over what to name him and use the random name generator on behindthename.com. i am going to accept the first thing it gives me and move the fuck on.

New idea: instead of writing the fic, you come over to my house and I tell you the entire plot while I pace my tiny kitchen. There’s a cup of tea, warm in your hands. The words don’t stop and the affection never leaves your expression.

Showering Together
Attack on Titan - Levi x Reader || smut, well you’ll have to imagine some of it, fem!Reader
Not very Christmassy, but consider this a present to y'all nonetheless.
Tumblr media
Levi loved showering with you. The first time he suggested it you were hardly surprised but you were a little apprehensive. Despite him having seen your body many times by this point, showering together felt like a whole different kind of intimacy, one you hadn’t really explored many times in past relationships. But the way his eyes lit up when you agreed quickly soothed your nerves.
His gentle gaze on you as you undressed together, insisting on helping you with the buttons on your blouse in a way that left his fingers trailing against your bare skin, it was all so hypnotising. He pulled you in under the stream of water, checking if the temperature was okay for you, checking you were comfortable doing this with him. His softness in the way he handled you was driving you wild with desire. A burning affection for him engulfed your core.
Things only heated up further as he manoeuvred behind you, close enough to feel his warmth against your skin. Soapy hands worked their way over your back, your shoulders, down your arms, lathering up your skin underneath expert fingers. His lips came in to kiss your ear and you found yourself sinking back into his love.
Those expert fingers worked their way round to your stomach and then ever so slowly upwards, checking your reaction every step of the way before finally cupping your breasts. You could feel his desire twitch against your body. His heat hung heavy against your ass. You didn’t even mean to grind against him, but as his hands fondled your breasts, tugging gently at your nipples the way he knew you liked until you gasped and moaned for him, well, you just couldn’t help but rub back against him. Levi’s soft gasps were everything.
He continued like this for a while, his hands working rougher and rougher as your self control melted for him and you threw your head back onto his shoulder, until finally he released you. You whined at the loss of contact. The fire between your legs was unbearable. You needed his touch. You needed him.
“Shh, shh, my pretty girl,” he told you, hand working its way under your thigh to lift your leg for him. “You’ll have plenty to make noise about in a second.”
Levi loved showering with you. He loved the smell of your clean hair. He loved the softness of your skin. And most of all he loved the pure bliss on your face as he cleaned up the mess he made of you in there.

rewrite the stars - sim jaeyun
Tumblr media
summary: Choi Y/N has always dreamed of being an idol, and now her dream is coming true. As part of monster rookie girl group MAJ1K, she’s topping the charts, performing incredible stages, and feeling love from fans. She’s willing to do anything and everything to live her dream as an idol, and following the dating ban isn’t supposed to be an issue. She cares more about being an idol than she cares about love… until she meets Jake. From bumping into each other in company buildings to congratulating wins to eventually becoming MCs, she starts dreaming of something else.
alternatively: can anyone resist sim jaeyun? + he likes you back. except you’re idols so drama.
pairing: jake x idol fem!reader
other characters: enhypen, kim chaewon, huh yunjin, jang wonyoung, txt, other hybe + starship artists
warnings: swearing, management is kind of evil so maybe threats of sabotage (will edit as we go along)
word count: 4.2 k
Chapter One:
“Hello everyone, today we are here with the group that has cast a spell on the world with their music and charm, MAJ1K!” you and your band-mates smile and wave as Sunghoon announces you.
“How about we introduce ourselves?” asks Wonyoung, Sunghoon’s co-MC and your group’s maknae.
“1, 2,” starts Chaewon, before you all join in. “Cast a spell! Hello, we are MAJ1K!”
“MAJ1K have made a very successful debut and stolen everyone’s hearts with their debut song ‘Magic’. How does it feel to have this magical, mysterious concept?” asks Sunghoon.
“It’s very refreshing,” says Chaewon. “In IZONE, I got used to doing more defined concepts, the kind that many groups do, like cute, elegant, girl crush. In MAJ1K, we’re making and exploring our own unique concept, so I’m having fun being creative.”
“Yes, yes,” agrees Wonyoung. “How have MAJ1K’s newer idol members enjoyed the stages?”
It’s Yunjin’s turn to answer. “It’s a lot of fun. I am really enjoying putting on beautiful stages for our fans. While training to debut, I always dreamed of performing on a stage like this. I got to experience it a little bit on Produce 48, but since then I’ve been in the practice rooms, so it’s nice to perform for fans again like this. It encourages me to become the best artist I can and put on a really good performance.”
“Yes, performing for fans is my favorite of the experiences I’ve had as an idol,” says Sunghoon. “This last question is one I’m sure a lot of people are curious about, especially W1ZARD and MOA.”
You laugh, already knowing what he’s gonna ask you.
“Y/N-ssi, how is it to be under the same company as your older brother?” asks Sunghoon.
“Ah, it’s pretty amazing to be honest,” you respond. “I’ve always been close to my older brother, as we are the closest in age out of all of our siblings. He’s been giving me good advice and encouraging me throughout my training and now that I’ve debuted, he tells me what I’ve done well and gives me advice for improvement. I’m really glad to be part of HYBE because it lets me see him often.”
“That’s so sweet. You and Soobin sunbaenim have an enviable sibling relationship,” says Wonyoung.
“Thank you MAJ1K for talking to us today,” says Sunghoon, ending the show. “Make sure everyone to give MAJ1K a lot of love and support for their debut.”
“Thank you,” you and your band-mates say together, and the interview is over.
“Congratulations again on your debut,” says Sunghoon. He bows, polite as always, and walks away, likely to change and leave for the day.
“You did amazing,” Yunjin says to Wonyoung. “I’d already watched some of your interviews but coming in person was a different experience.”
Wonyoung blushes, “Thanks unnie. It was strange to be both an MC and an interviewee today.”
The four of you walk to your green room, changing into comfortable clothes before getting in the van to head to your dorms, done with promotions for the day.
You pull out your phone, opening up Weverse, quickly posting a selfie you’d taken earlier, with a caption thanking fans for their support. Then you open up Twitter, wanting to know what the public’s thoughts were on your group. You knew it wasn’t a good idea - having been a fan yourself, you knew that Twitter was a toxic place - but you couldn’t help it.
You opened up Twitter on your junk account, one you’d made purely for keeping up with news.
@majikdaily: MAJ1K have successfully ended promotions for the day. Spotted leaving Music Bank.  Pictures were attached of you and the girls leaving the building, covering your eyes to block flash from cameras, otherwise waving and smiling.
@queenchae: chaewon talked about izone CRYING
@wolfgyu: y/n and soobin’s relationship sounds so sweet CHOI SIBLING COLLAB WHEN?
You laugh at this one. You’re sure that you and Soobin will do some TikToks together at some point to promote your respective groups. You make a mental note to talk to him about it.
@penguinhoon: they’re so obviously using enha for clout #BoycottMAJ1K
You frown at this one. It’s not true, and you’re wondering where this person got this idea. You quickly find a thread by another account, listing ways that they believe your group is using ENHYPEN.
@enhalover: They debuted a week before ENHYPEN’s anniversary. They’re under HYBE, so they must’ve known that the biggest rookie group of the year was approaching an anniversary, but they purposefully took all the hype for themselves.
@enhalover: They’re gonna make people forget about ENHYPEN’s one year.
@enhalover: This group was made to replicate ENHYPEN. They’re also under a joint venture label.
You laugh. This is ridiculous. If MAJ1K had been created to replicate ENHYPEN, there would be seven members in the group, not four. And you were under a completely different label, a joint venture, yes, but a joint venture between two Korean companies, not a Korean company and a Japanese company like with ENHYPEN. You see tweets in response to these claims saying just that, that this account is out of its mind, that it’s absurd. MAJ1K is its own group, and it has nothing to do with ENHYPEN.
You’ve never known what to think of ENHYPEN. You knew Heeseung because of Soobin, and he was incredibly kind and talented. The rest of the members, you didn’t know much about. You hadn’t watched I-Land, too busy training for your own debut, and while you’d listened to some of their music, you weren’t actively up to date with them.
You hoped that what their fans were saying wasn’t a reflection of them. You felt ridiculous for it, but part of you started to dislike ENHYPEN - their fans were ridiculous, and it’s not like they were that incredible of a group. Were they incredibly successful? Yes. But they were also a boy group under a major label that had debuted without competition - the only real competition ENHYPEN had was TREASURE, and that group was so inactive they didn’t really count. ENHYPEN were rookies and only had to compete with rookies, and it wasn’t all that impressive that they did well. They were the only consistently active Big Four rookie. It would’ve been more impressive if they had flopped.
You sigh to yourself, trying to push the negative thoughts away. It’s incredibly hypocritical for you to think this way about them considering you’re in the same boat, you tell yourself.
“Does it bother you?” Yunjin’s voice startles you. She laughs, “Sorry.”
“No, it’s fine,” you say in response.
“Does it?” she glances at your phone, before glancing at you.
“A little? It’s annoying above everything else. Fans need to calm down.” You respond. “ENHYPEN aren’t even that big of a group - yeah, they’re successful, they’re going to be one of the big groups of the generation, but they’re a year old.”
Yunjin laughs, “Don’t say that to their fans, they’ll tear you apart.”
You laugh, “Yeah, they would. I’ve never seen people so upset about the date an artist debuts on.”
“They have nothing better to do,” says Yunjin, agreeing.
Soon enough, you reach your dorms, and head inside, taking turns showering and getting ready to go to sleep.
“Good job today everyone,” says Chaewon, yawning. “See you tomorrow.”
---
The next day, you have another promotion, this time at Inkigayo. You get to the building in the morning, walking to your green room and putting on your outfits for your first stage. MAJ1K is promoting two songs, the title track and a b-side, at each broadcast station until you drop the music video for the main b-side, after which you’ll promote that.
You sit in your chair, stylist fixing your hair before moving to your makeup. You put on your outfit, and you’re the first one done so you sit in a random chair in the room, looking through your notifications. There are texts wishing you good luck from family and friends, texts from random school peers who are desperate to get into your good graces now that you’re famous, and notifications on Weverse from fans, ranging from “You’re so pretty” to “Sleep well” on your selca from yesterday.
Pretty soon, it’s time to perform and you all walk down the hallway to the stage. You perform. Fans cheer. You change. You wait. You perform. Fans cheer. You do an interview. You change. You leave. You shower. You sleep.
It’s the same cycle, day after day for a few weeks, until promotions finally end. Along the way, you win a few awards, do fan-signs, and get gifts. And it passes by so fast.
“I’m so tired,” says Wonyoung on your last day of promotions. “I’m also kind of sad though.”
“I get what you mean,” you respond. “It was exhausting and I’m ready for a break, but it was fun and we’ll never have this again. Like, debut MAJ1K promotions. Next time it’ll be a comeback.”
---
And so your break begins. It’s not that much of a break - content has been pre-filmed for the fans, and plans for a Season’s Greetings, comeback, and New Years Eve performance are being discussed. MAJ1K is more successful than Tunez expected it to be, so they’re ramping up plans, trying to increase appearances and put you four everywhere. You have the potential to be the 4th gen girl group.
“We have to make everyone interested in them,” says the head of your PR team. “Their only real competition for 4th gen are Itzy and Aespa. And I’m sure we can defeat both groups.” He goes on, talking about making sure your concept is more creative, interesting, and cohesive than those of the groups he’s just mentioned. He talks about maintaining a clean image - no dating, no foul language, no offending anyone. “Be the most neutral group you can,” he instructs. “MAJ1K should have no flaws.”
That shouldn’t be an issue, you think to yourself. You’re not interested in dating, and you always do your best to respect people and avoid foul language in public. This isn’t something I have to worry about, you decide.
---
MAJ1K is booked for the New Years Eve concert. ENHYPEN, TXT, SEVENTEEN, and FROMIS_9 are also performing.
“Y/N, there you are!” you spot Soobin and wave to him. You’re backstage, in a hallway, getting ready to go on. Fromis are currently performing (and doing amazing, you’ve always loved their music) and you make quick conversation with your brother while waiting. “Are you excited? First concert.”
“Yeah, I’m super excited! It’ll be fun! I’ll have my fans and hopefully yours as well cheering me on!” you respond.
Soobin laughs, “I told them to cheer for you. Maybe your fans will cheer for me too.”
“I’m sure they will,” you say. You hear Fromis end their last song, and are gestured to the stage by your manager. “Well, it looks like it’s time. See you afterwards.” You give your brother a quick hug before joining your members backstage.
MAJ1K performs three original songs and a cover at the concert. You cover WJSN’s ‘As You Wish’, a suggestion by a Starship representative on your team as a way of cementing the fact that MAJ1K is equally HYBE and Starship. Your team is insistent on making sure everyone knows, as it’s beneficial for the group, HYBE, and Starship, encouraging fans to explore. The last song you perform is a ballad from your album, and you walk around the stage, waving to fans. You notice a MOA with a slogan with your and Soobin’s faces on it, and you smile and wave to them. You also notice some fansites of yours, and send some smiles and finger hearts their way.
You try to wave and smile at most of the audience members, but you can’t help but avoid the ENGENEs you see in the crowd. You can’t see very much anyways - the light is on you, and the audience is dark - but when you see ENGENE bongs, you turn away.
MAJ1K’s set ends, and you and the girls walk off stage after bowing and thanking the audience.
“You did amazing, Y/N,” says your brother. TXT is next, and he’s adjusting his in-ears, making sure his hair is neat. You know the fans are going to go wild when they see him - his blonde hair is incredibly popular.
“Good job, Y/N,” say the other TXT members. You grin, thanking them. The other TXT members are like brothers to you - back when they were all trainees, they came to your house often to hang out with Soobin. The five boys are tight, and they all refer to you as their younger sister.
“I bought a slogan of yours,” says Huening Kai, holding up a slogan.
You roll your eyes, “I didn’t know you were such a big fan.”
“I am,” says Kai, grinning, before handing it to you and moving to get on stage.
TXT perform and do incredible as usual. They’re a force to be reckoned with in the industry, and you know they’ll go down in history as one of the boy groups. They perform six songs, from ‘Crown’ to ‘Run Away’ to ‘Blue Hour’ to ‘Lovesong’, as well as two b-sides. You smile as you watch from backstage - you’re so proud of your brother, you’re so proud of these five talented boys who you have the privilege of knowing.
“They’re incredible, aren’t they?” you jump, startled. It’s an unfamiliar voice, and you turn to come face to face with an ENHYPEN member. Jake. You hate that you know that.
“Yeah,” you say, keeping your response short, curt.
“They’re so inspirational,” he continues, eyes on the TV playing their performance. “BTS made me want to become an idol; TXT motivated me to stick with it.”
“Cool,” you say, not knowing how to respond. Why he’s telling you this is besides you.
“They’re all so cool as well. So good at performing, they write great music, and they’re amazing with the public. Making appearances and whatnot.”
“They’re not that cool,” it slips out before you can control yourself. You can’t help it - this is your older brother and his crazy friends that Jake is talking about.
“Oh, right, you’re siblings, right? Soobin hyung’s your brother,” Jake says. “That’s cool - you have someone on the inside of the industry.”
You furrow your brows, making eye contact with him. Mistake. His eyes are melted chocolate, and you see both sincerity and a spark of humor. Most of all, you see life. He just looks so alive in a way you can’t explain. You close your eyes, refusing to let him get to you. He’s just like every other male idol, he has to be attractive, it’s part of his job. “Are you calling me a nepo baby?” you counter. He’d mentioned having someone in the industry. It’s infuriating. You don’t like him. He implied that you’re only here because of your brother, so you don’t-
“What? No,” he responds, looking horrified. “No, I’m sorry if it came across that way. I was just saying that it’s probably nice to have someone who knows what it’s like. Being an idol can be lonely, like my family is so supportive but they don’t know what it’s like. No, I mean you’re obviously not here because of him; you’re here ‘cause of you. I saw your performance, you’re so talented. I was blown away.”
Now you feel bad for him. You feel bad for wanting to dislike him. Shit. You’re supposed to dislike him.
You raise an eyebrow, “I didn’t know the mighty ENHYPEN watched a rookie girl group’s performance.” You try to ignore everything he’s just said - he’s just a kind idol. It was cute though how fast he tried to explain himself… No. He’s just a nice person. You still don’t like him.
Jake blushes, laughing. He looks at the ground, before looking back at you, “You’re in my company. I have to know your music. And it’s really good.”
You’re quiet for a moment, and Jake raises an eyebrow.
“This is the part where you say you like our music too.” he says.
You laugh, “Isn’t the point of compliments to say something nice without expecting something in return?”
“Do you like our music?” Jake asks.
“I like what I’ve heard.” you answer.
“What have you heard?”
“The title tracks. Also ‘Let Me In’ and ‘FEVER’.” you respond.
Jake shakes his head. “Disappointing.”
“I’ll listen to your albums in full sometime,” you say, trying to appease him. Despite your dislike for ENHYPEN, you don’t want to offend one of your seniors.
“Next time I see you, I hope you’ll have heard more.” he says. You nod. “Alright, well I’ve gotta go now. We’re up next. Nice talking to you, though.”
You nod, and he walks away. Should you have said it was nice talking to him, too? You shake your head, it wasn’t nice. Even if it’s the polite thing, you’re not doing it. If their fans aren’t polite to you, you don’t have to be polite to them.
---
“I saw you talked to Jake sunbaenim,” Yunjin says, teasing, wiggling her eyebrows. You’re at the dorm after the concert. All four of you are in your pajamas, eating takeout at the kitchen counter.
“He came up to me and started talking to me. I have to be polite, he’s a senior.” you explain yourself. “It was honestly so annoying.”
“You didn’t look annoyed,” says Chaewon.
“Well trust me,” you say, “I was.”
“I don’t trust you. You’re lying to us, but you’re also lying to yourself.” says Yunjin.
“Why would I lie about this?” you ask. Yunjin shrugs, continuing to eat her meal.
Dinner continues, talking here and there, mostly eating. You’re all tired from both performing and the mental stimulation of interacting with so many artists. Besides talking to Jake, you’d also hung with TXT, conversed with SEVENTEEN (you were surprised you survived that), met Fromis (you screamed), and even talked to some of the BTS members. Jimin congratulated you and the members on your debut, and you froze.
That night, you have a hard time falling asleep. Are you lying to yourself? Do you dislike ENHYPEN or have you tricked yourself into thinking you dislike them? And most importantly, why does Jake from ENHYPEN have such pretty eyes?
---
The next morning, you wake up to Yunjin frantically shaking you. “Wake up, Y/N.”
You frown, rubbing your eyes, “What is it?” You stretch, trying to wake up.
“Get ready as soon as possible,” there’s an indecipherable look in her eyes. “Management wants to talk to us immediately. There’s an issue.”
You drag yourself out of your bed, brushing your teeth and picking an outfit in record time. You settle with a crewneck and jeans. You brush your hair before slipping a beanie on, hoping it’ll hide the fact that your hair is kind of a mess. You grab your phone, check the time, and then see that you have a lot of notifications.
“Is something happening?” you ask the girls, walking into the kitchen. “Why do I have so many notifications?”
“Don’t look at them,” says Chaewon. “Come on, let’s get going.”
Now you really want to look at your notifications. You still obey your leader, however, tucking your phone in your pocket.
The ride to Starship’s building feels like forever. Today’s meeting is being held there because it’s closer to your dorm. The van is silent, no one saying or doing anything. You and the girls are aimlessly looking around, except for Chaewon who’s staring at the floor.
You’re relieved when you reach the building. The four of you walk inside, heading to one of the meeting rooms. You pass some of the Monsta X members on your way in - Jooheon sends a sympathetic smile, and Shownu looks worried - and you’re getting a really bad feeling.
“We have multiple things to discuss today,” says your manager. “First off, the performance last night.” You’re expecting a “well done” considering all the compliments you’d received both from other artists and your fans. “Pathetic. We looked at the official recording, and the live to lip sync ratios were awful.”
You frown, “I thought we mostly sang live?”
“Did I ask you to speak?” he asks, and you shake your head, looking down at the table. “That’s what I thought. Chaewon did the best, with a 90% to 10% for singing live to lip syncing. Yunjin was 80 to 20. Y/N and Wonyoung were both 60 to 40. You two need to improve. Immediately.”
You’re starting to get annoyed. You’d had the New Years performance a mere week after promotions for your debut had ended, and your voices had gotten sore. It didn’t help that you were running on low sleep and a weird idol diet. You don’t bother saying anything, however, knowing it’ll probably do more harm than help.
“Second item of business,” your manager continues. “We made it clear that this group has to have the cleanest public image in the industry. Be neutral, be friendly, be kind. Don’t start things.” He’s looking directly at you now. “Y/N, everyone noticed how you were ignoring ENGENEs. You’re really lucky that ENHYPEN were nothing but kind on their live last night.”
“What live?” you ask. Did they talk about you?
“They had a live,” your manager says, sighing. “They were asked about you guys, one of them said he had a good conversation with you and that you were funny.”
“Oh,” you say. Jake mentioned you. On a live with his fans and members. The room is starting to feel really hot all of a sudden. Are you blushing?
“That appeased the fans,” continues your manager. “Be careful in the future, treat everyone the same. I don’t care what issues you have with who - as an idol, you are kind and welcoming to everyone.”
You nod.
“Last thing: we’ve decided that you’ll be having a comeback on February 14th. The album will be called Love is Magic. Preparations will start soon, so be ready. We’ll have you all go in the recording booths in a few days, and then start with choreo and shoots. We’re also planning a fan-con for mid January as a way to promote you before your comeback.”
All four of you nod. Internally, you’re kind of upset. This is a very fast comeback. Usually there’s a longer break between comebacks. You’re also kind of upset that you weren’t even asked, you were told.
“Will we be able to write for this album?” you ask. Your manager rolls his eyes, looking annoyed.
“Maybe in the future,” he says. “This album is too important. It’s your first comeback after an incredibly successful debut. If you want to cement yourselves as the fourth gen girl group, you’ll have to leave it to us. We have professional writers for a reason.”
You nod, disappointed, but not surprised.
The ride back is louder than the ride to Starship. Yunjin voices her disappointment about not being able to write, Chaewon agreeing with her. You say that they were unnecessarily harsh about lip syncing, and the other three agree. Wonyoung looks agitated, and you feel bad for her. She’s been an idol since, what, 13? 14? She’s been living such a fast, high-profile life for years, and she’s not getting a break even now, after so much hard work. Instead, she’s being treated like a newbie, like she doesn’t know what she’s doing, which may be true for you, but not for her.
You get back to the dorm and lie down on your bed. Now is when you pull out your phone, scrolling through your phone, looking at Twitter.
@jakejake: she’s so rude. Completely ignoring us. I feel bad for jake - he had to talk to her
@applehee: there’s always that one bad sibling. this time it’s choi y/n
Admittedly, that one hurts your feelings. Comparing you to your brother, that’s low. You can’t help but to think it’s true, and that hurts more.
Some people do come to your defense, however, and that makes you feel better.
@y/nismyqueen: yall need to cut it out. Jake literally said she was funny and that they had a good convo. She’s probably scared of looking at you guys because yall are insane.
@maj1cian: feeling bad for y/n. Her brother’s super popular, and she’s constantly being compared to him. It doesn’t help that engenes have it out for her - enha said good things abt her and yall are jealous and making shit up
You continue scrolling, eventually finding clips of the performance from last night. There are sweet captions and descriptions, fans talking about how “MAJ1K slayed” or “y/n’s vocals have me screaming” and eventually you’ve forgotten about the hate.
You can’t help yourself, and you find yourself looking through the ENHYPEN hashtag, before eventually looking for Jake-specific content. There are pictures of him, fan-made edits, quotes, and rants from fans about how much they love him.
There’s also a really funny, cute thread discussing the similarities between the idol and golden retrievers.
You eventually find yourself opening Spotify, following ENHYPEN, and pressing play.
They make good music.

I was tagged by the lovely @hrhgeorgerussell to post the last line(s) I wrote, thank you ❤️ I needed a good cry so decided to make myself cry and write an alternative ending for the original ending to this scene, so the last line I wrote is sad. Sorry.
This was your choice, a little voice in his head reminded him, so he griped the goblet a little tighter and smiled as he watched them dance and laugh together, knowing he let the best thing he had slip away.
I'm no-pressure tagging @lichason @hourcat and anyone else who wants to join in because it’s late and I can’t think properly,

around a year ago I had an incredibly realistic dream where I was hiking and stumbled off a cliff. I managed to grab into a ledge, but I was hyper aware that eventually I would lose hold of it and fall to my death. I just sat there holding the ledge for a while thinking about everything I was never able to do, the conversations I never had, and how badly I wanted to live. Eventually I came to terms with my untimely death and accepted that there was nothing I could change, and it wasn't really okay, but it would have to be okay, and I'd had a good life. If nothing else, I was glad for the life I had been able to have. I wanted my last thoughts to be peaceful. I was about ready to let go when my family came along and rescued me. Some other stuff happened after that. Then I woke up and let me tell you I had a Bad Day. How are you even supposed to act normal after that.
