my study / homework schedule to enter my hermione era 💘

monday - 3.10pm - 5pm (1hr 50mins)

study at library. on mondays i do maths weekly and nightly homework, some chemistry revision, and read at least 50 pages !

tuesday - 4.00pm - 6.15pm (2hrs 15mins)

study at home. on tuesdays i do maths nightly homework, go over my maths weekly homework, some physics revision, and read at least 30 pages !

wednesday - 6.30pm - 7.45pm (1hr 15mins)

study at home. on wednesdays i do maths nightly homework, any science homework that i have, (physics, biology, chemistry), biology revision, and read at least 30 pages !

thursday - 6.30pm - 8.15pm (1hr 45mins)

study at home. on thursdays i do maths nightly homework, any english or philosophy homework, i practice music theory and pieces, and i practice my spelling to make sure everything is correct!

friday - sunday i tend to have a break if i don’t have a test for, but occasionally i use fridays to practice a language or learn about something i like ! on these days i try to read 60 pages a day 💘

Hermione usually tends to make the library her study place, you can smell the books, have a lovely, peaceful environmental place to study in and always have the resources you need! Cozy up and study your heart out.

2 Create a study schedule. Hermione is known for her organized approach to studying. Create a schedule for different subjects when studying to maintain good time, and study well. And of course take tiny lil breaks in between, Hermione does that too. Some time for reading, study, and a little bit of free time with Harry and Ron or in the library (don't burnout)<3

3 Read. Read. Read. Be able to enjoy reading for pleasure time, learn some cool stuff in between and beforehand so you can impress your teachers! /hj. It helps with your creativity, focus, stress and exiting reality. Take notes, highlight important points, and ask questions while reading. Engage with your class and have more understanding.

4 Prioritize Important Tasks. Identify the most crucial tasks and do them. Hermione determines to know what needs to be done first and that way gets harder things out the way.

5 Study Regularly. Hermione practices spells regularly and reads a lot about the world of magic in the library, and particularly interested in it.

6 Seek Understanding, Not Just Memorization. Hermione tends understands things and facts rather than just memorizing them for the test. You need to be able to properly understand instead of memorization to help seek a better clear view for your knowledge.

At one point, I had this era on Pinterest where I would save a lot of those study inspo photos captioned with something like “It’s 3 am, people are sleeping while I’m getting ahead of them”, basically shit like that. I just remember there were a lot of posts like those with similar captions revolving around studying till morning. Yes, being studious is great and all but YOU NEED SLEEP TO FUNCTION. So that era of mine on Pinterest basically reminded me to remind you guys that please don’t treat sleep deprivation as a competition. Now I know it feels like it’s almost impossible to even get 6 or 7 hours of sleep but when you can PLEASE GO SLEEP AND REST. Your brain needs it! When you feel like you’ve studied and covered everything you need to know but it’s still early, PLEASE GO REST! Do not punish yourself by studying more just because you feel like you shouldn’t finish early studying that just means you’re already familiar with the material.
