A question for my community

Hey everyone!

Recently I was thinking about accessibility a bit, and I realized that my blog might not be very accessible to those who are visually impaired, and use a screen reader on Tumblr.

My question is: should I describe my moodboards in alt text so that people with screen readers can read them? I have heard you can do this on some posts, though I would need to do some research into it before I begin labelling my posts. This would probably cause a delay in posting, but those are pretty common anyways.

Sorry if this is a bit rambley, I was thinking about it and wanted to make this post before I go to bed. Please let me know what y’all think! I want my blog to be a safe space, I am just trying to figure out if it needs to be a more accessible space.

I don't think you need a fish blog to tell you that it's been real rough for many LGBTQ+ people this year. But we will persist. You will persist. It will be okay one day. Victories are made every now and then, and you need to remember that it won't be horrible or dystopian forever, even if news everywhere make it seem so.
