Praying that spring brings renewal and new life and an and a renewed commitment to protecting the lives of others. Trying to find beauty in small things and strength within myself. As someone who is so intensely focused on maintaining friendships (something about me that will never change), I’m leaping into spring by knowing that the true friends I have will remain. And that I must learn to stop letting the “friends” who have let me down keep disappointing me.
I want to keep giving them chances to show that they aren’t who they’ve proven themselves to be. But I can’t keep hurting myself like that.
So here’s to new beginnings.
Here’s my bullet journal spread for the month. I have to keep letting myself be vulnerable, but I can’t stop seeking new positives either.

March bujo calendar! I've been using a lot of stickers and washi tapes on calendars because I don't have that much time these days, and I like a lot how it looks

Show Your Bujo Theme | March 2023
Time flies when you are painting.
February is always a quick month and I spend a good amount of my time on March’s bujo spread. This time I decided to paint portions of my illustrations with himi gouache. It does take quite a bit more time than simple markers because I have to wait for layers to dry. But I do really like how it turned out.
My March bujo theme is:

i’ve been trying really hard to keep up with journaling at least once a week.
work and life in general are crazy so honestly once a week is really all i have time for. thankfully i’m always collecting stickers, cards, and random little designs so that makes decorating each spread a little easier.
i’m always looking for new spread ideas so let me know if you have any good ones! i’m honestly running out of ideas lmao.

It's difficult to fathom that it's 2024 and I am in the final year of my bachelor's degree. Between 2020 and 2022 I feel like time passed differently, probably because of the pandemic.
I recently had a story published on my university's magazine website. It's a children's adventure short story. You can read it here, if you'd like. I'm really proud of myself for submitting something and having it chosen to be published; it's a boost to my self-confidence that I think I really needed.
I'm currently reading Eclipse in the Twilight Saga, having recently finished New Moon. New Moon was incredible - Stephanie Meyer captures Bella's emotions so vividly. Eclipse is wonderful so far, but not as captivating.
