A sea captain was once asked what would it take to sink his mighty ship, and he replied, “Just One Tiny HOLE.”
So as one point making one hole will doom even the most perfect ship to the bottom, as today’s verse also says 'one point' failing against the 'whole law,' will mark you as guilty — and that one small hole will also sink you too.
You see, just following the Ten Commandments or the 'Golden Rule' were never intended to be the path to salvation. Instead, they are a MIRROR to how much we all need a savior to erase the 'holes' of sin in our lives. This is what Christ does for us when we step out of the ship of GOOD WORKS and into the boat of GOD FAITH.
Friend, your good works cannot and will not save you. Only Christ can wipe out all the holes of sin in your life.
Will you choose to remain in the ship of GOOD WORKS, or step into the lifeboat of GOD FAITH?
That choice, as always, is yours.

Today there is tremendous turmoil and uncertainty in the world!
Instability in foreign countries, threat of war, terrorism, growing inflation, political upheavals, epidemics, rising energy costs, inflation — and a host of other things. Strangely but predictably the response by many is to 'prep' by stocking up on items considered as vital for meeting the coming crisis like silver and gold (or brass and lead) and the ubiquitous toilet paper, canned goods and bottled water — yet none of these will save you in this biggest of all events to come.
You see, despite the seemingly unsolvable events of the day, Jesus Christ IS coming back to deliver those that are His own and bring true peace and justice to the world.
If you have not yet sought Christ to save you from what is coming, the step to do so is to acknowledge that you are a sinner, and sincerely ask God to forgive you. Then place your trust (and your green check mark) on that which will truly prepare you for what is to come.
Friend, his promise of giving each one eternal safety is free for the asking. All you have to do is accept it.
Are you prepping for the return of Christ, or seeking your own 'prep path' to safety in a sinking world?

nejiten fanfiction keeps kicking my ass
reading nejiten is innocent and pure, the first stages of being 12 mixed with cutesy cheek kisses and visits to the main house, watching a pair getting accustomed to each other, bit by bit, in the passing time.
reading nejiten is being 13 again, couped up in the tear-stained 4 am sheets, reading about hope and death and the meaning of freedom.
reading nejiten is lonely 14-year-old nights, the anchor to my damaged self, drowning out the mean girl taunts and the betrayals and the knives digging into my back.
i miss those times so much, seeing myself reading the same material at distinctly different points of my life — watching it grow and mature, the meanings of the words changing as my perception of the world does.
then comes the ache; you’re tearing up over familiar words, a different person but emotional over the same reasons. you remember the you from the past, who felt these same feelings and cried the same tears over the same stories about two ninjas from konoha getting knocked up and down, struggling for a relationship. the thing that is bothersome the most is the thought of how you could have possibly felt these same feelings as a kid when you’re such a different person now?
then you feel like a kid. then you feel innocent again. free. but still bound to the art of the craft, the crevices of the heart, the soul of the ship.
it’s 1 am on a school night, and @aquariusgaluxy ‘s words still sting the same way, and, in hindsight, you realize — some things never change.

Observations on Life
So I was cleaning out the Notes app on my iPhone when I noticed I had a lot of old blurbs I used to jot down while at the gym or when a random thought resonated with me. Check them out below:
- A comfortable life isn’t a life to be proud of
- I enjoy the gym and library because it’s the only place where everyone is trying to better themselves.
- Notice how proud you are and how much happier you are when you work hard for something and accomplish it.
- Rewards from hard work will always be better than rewards that are gifted.
- Life is what you make of it. Perspective is everything.
- Life is not about what we take or gain, but what we create and how we save others. What beauty will you bring to the world? What contribution will you make?
- Never take a full break for longer than 3 days.
- Just because you want do something doesn’t mean you should.
- People think that the quicker that a little effort over a long time or rushing something is an easy way to get better at something. That’s wrong. The fastest way to become better is through discipline and focus in doing it right every time.
- Skyscrapers last longer with sturdy foundations.
- It’s easy to devalue things. It’s harder to care.
- The real test in life is understanding what do you want, and realizing how bad do you want it
- I feel control in the gym. I move the weights as I want and with control.
- Some people think that if you have tools/aesthetic clothes/workout gear that have the potential to make you better that somehow it’ll just make you better. You have to put in the work no matter what you have.
- Success isn’t about reaching it. It’s about maintaining it. That’s the hardest part.
- The people who “make it” aren’t always the ones who maintain it. It’s the people who enjoy what they do without any superficial rewards that do the best.
- I always try to look at other people and say I want to be like them in order to achieve what they have. I should be looking inside at who I am to truly understand what I want and let that inspire me.
- The only thing that should really matter is staying true to yourself and to others.
- If you want to see the truth then hold no opinions.
- Stop running away form the person you want to become.
- Repetition and habit are the foundations of success.
- Weak men live for themselves, strong men live for a purpose beyond their own lives.
- The hardest thing to do is trying to become the person you want to be.
- Never text, snap, or any other forms of social media while at the gym. This is the time for you to relax and focus on bettering yourself.

Reflections
Series 7
Discovery Of Self
The experience of life brings the reflection of how the self exercises the freedom of being.
Designed by the universe to be,
assigned by the society to become.
Everything that alings with becoming the truest self is the reflection of the universal design.
In being there is a distance between the real and projected self. As the self works with the outside the real discovery is within. The relationships of our experience are the point of understanding the collective unconscious speaking through us.
Our personal history is not our own yet so bespoken as an individual it develops a story of its own. Knowledge of knowing moves in and out of our perception that gives the self the ability to give. Giving is both visible and invisible as it identifies itself with a pattern that comes from the unconscious. This pattern is a recognition of the feelings that is the dailouge of willingness to love and the higher self awareness of being love. As this awareness comes the much talked about opening becomes the vulnerability of the human experience. In this vulnerability your authenticity, love and kindness always grows in the heart for it to be nourishing itself and others.
There is no straight way, it's a little bit of everything - karma/free will, all is finally seen as pure grace in the discovery of self. As the being surrenders it allows the giving side to be accepted in all its limitless glory we recover from the social interaction and reach the pure self. The discovery is of this space of existence that is solitude writing a monologue on being itself!

Romance and angst

Complete!
“All year, they were denied what they most wanted in life.”
This to me is true angst. Just pure angst. Life is truly unfair not for taking away life but for hindering it to live.

Yeah, right. We’ve heard this 'Jesus is coming and he's coming soon' deal before, so where is he? What a joke. You people are so stupid.
Two thousand years ago this is exactly what the Bible said what people would say.
Today the signs are clearer than ever that these are indeed the End Times. One look at the news and observe the collapse of our cities, society falling into decay, increased lawlessness, plagues and severe earth changes and it is clear that we are living in a time where things are so turned around that almost three thousand years ago Isaiah 5:20 said
“Woe unto them that Call EVIL GOOD, and good evil; That put DARKNESS FOR LIGHT And light for darkness; That put bitter for sweet, And sweet for bitter”It follows that especially today in a world that is truly turned around sexually, morally and spiritually that making fun of the Bible – and especially of the return of Christ – makes perfect sense. And not only that, but as Romans 1:32 confirms that those that scoff not only enjoy poking fun out of Christ’s return, but gleefully celebrate with others that also do the same.
If you don’t think that Christ is coming back, you have 100% free will to not believe and make fun of it as much as you like. But when – not IF – He returns, please heed these words:
“For the invisible things of him (God) From the creation of the world are CLEARLY SEEN Being understood by the things that are made, Even his eternal power and Godhead; So that they are WITHOUT EXCUSE.“ Romans 1:20
Friend, please do not place yourself in a situation where you will stand before Christ WITHOUT EXCUSE and be SPEECHLESS. (Matthew 22:12) Recognize, believe and CONFESS Christ as LORD. Today it’s your time. Today is the Day of Salvation.

by Dr. Jeanne Sheffield Estrada
Nothing in life can prepare us for the death of a loved one, whether it be a sudden accident or a long illness — it always catches us off-guard. Death is so deeply personal and stunningly final that nothing can emotionally prepare us for its arrival. With every death there is a loss, and with that loss comes Grief.
Grief doesn’t come and go in an orderly, confined timeframe, and when it comes how do we bare it? We hope to move past it quickly – be it a few days or weeks - but there is often a struggle between coming to grips and confronting our grief.
Grief, however, is a necessary part of our healing, but just as when facing any time of crisis in life, it is always helpful to draw close to God and use the wisdom of the Bible as the essential balm to aid in our healing and help us through any crisis.
Feel free to grieve, because it is part of the process God uses to bring us to a place of wholeness — but remember this...
Our God is a healer and restorer of hearts and souls and he has given us spiritual balms to complete healing and return to wholeness in and through the Word of God.
To work through your loss and grief, apply these powerful promises of scripture:
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” Matthew 5:4
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” Psalm 147:3
Friend, God desires to heal your broken heart, “So cast all your cares upon him, because he cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7)

1.The white dude who ran up the down escalator during rush hour and then fell when he got to the top
The thud
2. Me: "What's through that door?"   My 4 and a half year old friend playing a computer game: "It's just another dimension"
3. How you know you're a verbal processor: You live alone and you're talking anyway
4. Facebook is an oracle that shows the past and the future
5. Walking through the rain in spring weather I strip my coat off and let my bare arms get soaked. I stick out my tongue to catch cool drops. The droplets down my cheeks feel like tears -  give the relief of catharsis without the emotional exhaustion of weeping. I think maybe this is why we cry/ the tears emulate the rain/the sea- remind us we are water, hold us in a sprinkle of life before breath, embryonic calm

I need to learn to stop adding things to my never-ending list of responsibilities.  I’m already way too busy, but I always seem to forget that there are only 24 hours in a day and 7 days in a week...
On a related note, everyone, please don’t forget to hydrate and rest when you need it (and even when you don’t!)!  It’s really important that you stay healthy and happy! :)
