here's some pose sketchies!!

it had been several weeks since I last sketched out character poses before this, which is why I went slow and messy at first.

I put a lot of emphasis on understanding movement and anatomy for this one. the most important thing was getting back into the habit of drawing, which I did succeed at!

while I would love to post just the best and most beautiful finished pieces on my blog, I find it more honest to show the bad or mediocre art that went into making the complete pieces a reality at all.

I'm very happy to announce that most if not all real-life-stuff has been taken care of and I can continue feeding you my little doodles and artworks on a weekly basis!

I must inform you that I have to take a short hiatus due to some life stuff! while I can assure you I'm safe and not dying, many things have been added to my plate of responsibilities recently, which is why I have to prioritize.

I do hope this is short-lived and can return to making digital art for your and my enjoyment, but continuing to do so at this time would be very unsustainable ^-^'

I'm almost done with the current main wip, but I've decided to keep the wip wednesdays going as long as possible! a full character design for Devi is in the works as well, as preparation for the next artfight season of course ^v^

blue is honestly such a pretty colour! I'd say it is my second favourite after purple, which may also be due to their similar appearance lol

this wasn't planned to be today's art whatsoever, but I started drawing frieren from memory and just. didn't stop. so now I've got a fully shaded piece of fanart!

I've gotten quite far in the manga already and I can't help but be incredibly impressed and inspired by the art and especially the writing of this series

the second exam left my mind reeling, because it's insanely difficult to give a powerful protagonist like her difficult obstacles in the story and their solution for that was absolutely genius!
