Update on In the Earth!!

Hey guys (all 15 of you (: ) So Gabi and I just met and we've got a lot of new things planned. However, that means that our release date is going to be pushed back a bit more.

With Gabi starting her senior year of high school, and me entering my freshman year of college, we realized that our goal of having a fully established comic running by September was probably just a little ambitious ;) That being said we're working super hard to find a way to follow through with this project without dying of exhaustion by the time fall rolls along.

New sketches etc. will still be updated while we work towards our goal of a fully fledged comic, and smaller projects will be posted along the way.

WIP study of our two lovely ladies hanging out in Kara's cave. I've got this head cannon (which, let's face it, will probs end up being cannon) that Kara and Rya stay up really late reading all of Kara's books aloud to one another.

Approx. 1.5 hrs so far (including sketching in/ composition)

Lions and Tigers and Dragons, Oh My!

Meet the dragons (or, a dragon, at least). The dragon (on the right) is a sketch for Kara, our "Dragon Lady." The frill at the top of her head will be split into something that resembles ears (for the sake of more easily drawing emotions). The fellow on the left is a sketch of a potential "Mole Person" who may make an appearance later on in the series.

Here's another sketch of what I'm calling a "european/ western" dragon. These guys will look more like sauropods (long neck dinos!) than the others - and their wings are actually functional.
