as a girl obsessed with media and marauders stuff, i always end up relating things from stuff i consume as headcanons for my ships and hoping someone with better narration/art skills than i creates a fanfic or fan art.

so ill say one i have:

PALM SPRINGS (2019) AU JILY

James and Lily stuck in a time loop while attending Petunia’s wedding day.

(maybe we just skip the part where lily’s character sleeps with the groom cause ew)

Muggle au and Lily is there because she’s de sister and James is there for external reasons since they he and Lily don’t know each other.

Basically, James has been stuck in loop since forever, so much that he doesn’t even remember. Then one day by accident Lily ends up there too.

Now, they first start spending all their time together and doing dumb shit because it doesn’t matter the consequences, the day will just start again tomorrow.

They fall in love (we know how this goes).

Obviously we have angst because you don’t know if your feelings are even valid as you’re only spending time with this one person. What happens when you can’t plan to be with them cause you’ll never escape your current reality?

i honestly can’t wrap my head around it being anything than a muggle au cause i feel the use of magic takes away the fun idk.
