A dose of positive thinking with my morning caffeine.

It can be so easy to be caught up and swept away in negative thoughts and emotions. It can stem from our personal lives or from the state of the world currently.

The beauty of these emotions (any emotion for that matter) is that they are ever changing, ebbing and flowing. They are not static nor permenant.

I am choosing today to ignore the negativity and grasp for the positive in the fleeting moments of the day.

It is a practice...it is hard sometimes...but when I can manage it I end my day going to bed lighter....more free!

Wherever you are, whatever you are doing I hope you are able to, even for a millisecond, ingnore the negativity too!!

The tree is finally up, the lights...well they are "lit" (see what I did there) ~ feels like Christmas 🎄 I am still not done with presents or figuring out food and I...don't...care. 😲 After the 💩storm the world and my home has had to encounter the last couple of years I am done with the stress and worry. Like many people around me I have been struggling to feel "up" at times. Being an empathic person in the current "temperature" of the world drains the spoons. My spoons needed refilling and life is frankly too short. I have always loved dyed hair on other people and loved getting my own box dye on! This time I wanted to leave the work to the professionals as a treat. Well....🎉🎉🎉 I did not realize what depths of my soul needed this until I saw it....and the joy made me cry!
