i don't think anyone will be able to convince me that sokka not being sexist at the beginning was a good choice like now he really is just the meat and sarcasm guy.

he lost one of the most important parts of his arc, learning respect for women which also helped him learn more about respect as a warrior.

they have a small scene where he says stuff like i'm the best warrior in my village other than that he's always respectful and kind to the kyoshi warriors.

he doesn't need to learn how to respect women they didn't teach him anything except for how to use a fan.

sokka lost something that made him a fan favourite, his amazing start of his arc and learning to be respectful.

really hope they stay on track for season 2, and I mean change to a more og track not this shity one.

though I did like the show, it has some serious problems that need fixing.

favourite thing about Conner in s1 of Young justice he just wears jeans and a superman shirt, which is all fine and good. Untill season 2 where we find out he WEARS THIS TO FRICKING SCHOOL!!!!!!

lol everyone at that school on his second day was probably like "omfg its superboy wtf happened to Conner tho????"

cause cartoon characters are just that dense.

love the fact that in young justice they have to say robin is off doing the dynamic duo in episodes that would have lttle plot with him there, because he's just to good

example the episode they go to the tower of fate half the episode would have just been "on our way ig not much here" cause wally would have gotten caught on the faking believing in magic immediately, like no hesitation exposing wally.

when you're such a great character you can't be in every episode, as to not spoil the fans

Lloyd Oni headcannon

I have a headcanon about how Arin and Sora find out about Oni Lloyd.

Basically, after the merge when Lloyd is left all alone not knowing if his family and friends are alive, he starts being unable to control his Oni side, which leads to.... slight destruction around the monastery, so he tries to contain it to a single room if he can ( Lloyd is usually able to tell when it's about to happen) and he finds no point in cleaning this room up. But once he starts finding people it gets less frequent it still happens but he is able to hide it, they are just not allowed in this room. Even the OG ninja don't know about this they just let Lloyd be. After awhile Arin and Sora's curiosity gets the best of them and they sneak into the room and it's honestly hard to call this room at all there's claw marks everywhere, scorch marks and more. Arin and Sora have no clue what's going on so they go ask the ninja who also doesn't know what's going on and decides to check the room out with Arin and Sora ( wyldfire is there too don't worry). Lloyd catches them all snooping around the room and they question it which forces Lloyd to reveal that he unlocked his Oni form a while back and had trouble controlling it ( he also explains the Oni and dragon stuff to Arin, Sora and wyldfire) and yeah there a "little" shocked but are cool with it.

I remember watching the scene after they defeat Finniegrin and Callum is being all mopey and thinking back to when he was talking to Ez about being scared of being a puppet again (or something like that) and thought he was upset about how he was tied up and was being treated as a puppet. but nope! hahaha, it's not my proudest moment but it was like 3 am at that point, i was a little sleep-deprived
