One of my fav jegulus tropes is Sirius figuring out they’re together because James loses his glasses and flirts with him instead of Reggie

However I do also believe that Sirius and James flirt so often that Sirius would just think James was in an extra flirty mood and would go along with whatever James was saying

Like the vindictive way Ethel asks if she’s making her murderer feel sick is the same way that Reggie taunted Tom in his letter after taking the Horcrux

And the way Ethel still somewhat cares for the guy who literally eats her is so Reggie vibes cos of course he’s still gonna care for the man who put all this energy into him

Haven’t posted in 80 years but I’m currently in my dance moms era and now all I can imagine is the marauders as like quidditch dads

James would def take it so seriously like getting up at 5 am to stretch and warm up and would help coach at a moments notice

Remus would be the complete opposite and would always rock up to the game’s completely hungover and miserable (he would cheer louder than anyone tho)

Sirius would coordinate outfits with James and their children he would also sneak alcohol in for all the parents because why are games being played at 8am on a Saturday

Peter would be the one who brings all the half-time goodies like lolly snakes and orange slices, plus cakes and other stuff for the celebration after

Regulus has accidentally poisoned James before and then completely freaked out (going so far as to have a crisis of consciousness)

But what he forgets is that James is a Marauder and has ingested and lived through most if not all of the common and uncommon poisons in Europe and India, and he’s currently making his way through the rest of the world

Also james’ dad would occasionally forget which water glass or mug contained a rare potion so safe to say James is practically invincible (spoke too soon)

Anyway no one can convince me otherwise that this isn’t how regulus ended up admitting his feelings while believing James was straight up dying

You would think Remus or Peter being presumed as more responsible could do it but you would be wrong Remus famously spent half an hour screaming at a muggle pain killer bottle because it wouldn’t open even with magic

Lily had to step in
