I'm not the best in giving any sorts of advices but I'm happy you came up to me! For me, it's all about writing about what you know. If you read a lot of erotica, you're definitely in a great start. @alkivm is one of the best sapphic/erotica writers that I know around here, I believe you'll also learn a lot from her. Also, don't put a lot of expectations on yourself; be you, doesn't matter how. Allow yourself to make mistakes and learn from them, they're important and valid. Something that might help is to write small things here and there, just to see what you're exactly comfortable with and learn a bit more about your writing style. There is definitely no right or wrong; everyone writes differently! And I'm sure you'll do great, anon. I believe in you!

Musing on the cruise explosion

Call me insane but I really want Bobby to be the one that causes the explosion. Accidentally, of course. Just, Bathena on the case to thwart the evil pirates and save the innocents. Bobby saying he'll create a distraction and running off, not seeing the side eye Athena sends his way. He's a firefighter, after all. They shut engines and motors down all the time so they can rescue people. So he shuts down the big ships engine, but he misses something vital. Letting pressure release or something, and it causes the explosion. And Bobby's like... "Oops. My bad" (as the ship is slowly rolling onto its side).

Chaos Bobby is the captain of the 118 after all. Who do you think taught them all their ways? Then after it's all over we get some delicious guilt and angst on his part for sinking a god-damned cruise ship and causing yet more deaths and maybe some lingering trauma / throwback to his first big loss... please. Give us the throwbacks for all of them! Those who've read my fic know that I adore lil nuggets of humour amidst my angst and whump and dammit I want that in this emergency too! Reblog if you agree!

Since I've seen some positive but confused reactions about my last portrait posts!

If you are wondering how I draw so fast, it's not something that I've learned to do naturally. I work very fast because I've been training consistenly for 3 years now!

I started doing freebies for patrons in July 2020. At first I required them to provide me screenshots or references I could *copy* and study from, but later on (October 2020), I decided it would be more fun for them to give me whatever character they'd like me to draw instead as a token of my appreciation, reference provided or not. Since my time and energy are limited, I set the rule that it had to take me one hour max, prioritizing "finished, not perfect" (but still caring about delivering a nice drawing). This not only supposed a challenge, but an exercise I compromised to do twice a month, that I would benefit from and I could apply to all my work.

Some months ago I felt confident enough to switch from portraits to half bodies, as I was afraid the portraits were getting too monotonous for long term supporters (which are the majority of my patrons ♡). The only thing I'm sacrificing is the color instead, as the new half bodies are black and white :)

3 years ago, one colored portrait took me an hour, sometimes an hour and a half. Now, an uncolored portrait takes me around 15 minutes (truth be told, I also use a custom CSP head I configured to see a visual reference of the desired angle way faster on the side, but studying anatomy helps tons when having a better 3D picture of what you're seeing)
