Ok so

I’m going to be honest I had no idea what to do about Mistlekit but I also didn’t want to just.. leave her dead cause that’d be boring.

So after a lot of thought, I’ve decided that in this AU that after a long and stubborn fight with Whitecouch, Yellowfang is successful with curing Mistlekit. During her long stay in the med den, her and Yellowfang bond, she learns more about Shadowclan, and decides that she wants to be a medicine cat like Yellowfang.

Speckletail is a bit more hesitant to move to Shadowclan with Snowkit because she’s unsure of what to do about Mistlekit. The trip to Shadowclan would be much harder on Speckletail with two kits in tow and there’s no telling how Mistlekit would react to moving to Shadowclan. Just the idea of leaving Mistlekit in Thunderclan is devastating to Speckletail, but has to consider it. Mistlekit, being a nosy little kit, eavesdrops on Speckletail and Yellowfang’s conversation and interrupts them as soon as she hears the idea of leaving her in Thunderclan like no??? She wants to go with her family and see Shadowclan for herself after hearing Yellowfang’s stories.

With Yellowfang’s help, Speckletail and her kits are able to make the trip safely. Mistlekit shares a few parting words with her grumpy friend, including making Yellowfang promise that they’ll see each other again someday and promising to watch over Shadowclan like Yellowfang once did.

Sure enough, a few moons later, Yellowfang meets the new Shadowclan medicine cat apprentice-Mistlepaw.

Mistlepaw‘s full name could either be Mistlenose, Mistlemint (after catmint, the herb Yellowfang used to treat her Whitecough), or maybe Mistlewish upon Yellowfang’s suggestion (after Wishkit).

Redrew Candlestar w/ a bonus Rusty

As a baby/apprentice, he starts off super duper ginger unlike actual colorpointed kittens. Then as time goes on, he gets lighter and the “candles” become more prominent. Once he’s leader, the “candles” start to drip and get lower and lower with each life he loses. By the time he passes, he’s practically white.

Speckletail & Snowkit

Also-dunno if this has been said before- but what if Speckletail and Snowkit went to Shadowclan? Like I remember reading somewhere that Shadowclan was able to communicate using tail signals (don’t think it came up in books? But oh well), so what if when they realized Snowkit was deaf, Yellowfang brought up Shadowclan’s tail signals. Bluestar is skeptical, but considers the idea of Snowkit learning sign. But then there’s the hawk incident, however Snowkit gets saved by Brackenfur. Now Bluestar’s maybe has become a hard no, but Speckletail says fuck that (because they can say fuck here).

She takes Snowkit to Shadowclan and successfully convinces Nightstar to let them stay. Shadowclan’s tail signals expands and becomes sign language. Snowkit becomes Snowpaw. He’s much more observant than his clanmates, often being the first to notice certain scents, shadows, vibrations, and body language.

Soon Tigerclaw takes over and Tawnypaw moves to Shadowclan. Having also moved from Thunderclan, Tawnypaw is able to find comfort in Speckletail and Snowpaw. Snowpaw and Tawnypaw become close and, of course, with Snowpaw being her uncle, Snowpaw just can’t help but tease her about it.

I can imagine Snowpaw’s warrior name being either Snowshadow after Shadowclan, Snowspeckle/tail after his mom, or Snowstorm/blaze cause heck he’s a force to be reckoned with.

Speckletail and Snowkit leaving could also influence Bluestar a little after Tigerclaw’s betrayal, maybe making her go even further and threatening to banish cats to Shadowclan

Ok so its currently 3am and im thinking about what if bengal versions of Bluestar’s family

Moonflower’s spots resemble moonflowers and their leaves

Stormtail just has a lil bust so I wasn’t just winging it with Snow and Blue and keep some sort of family resemblence. He’s a blue siamese and heavily based off my boyfriend’s mom’s cat

Snowfur’s spots are upside down hearts to resemble snowdrop flowers

Bluefur’s spots resemble flowing water and droplets for her prophecy. As I was drawing her, I started to think what if Mosskit had to die or Bluefur’s secret would’ve been found out? Like maybe with Bluefur’s kin being the only bengals, Mosskit could’ve been a snow bengal (no pun intended rip) and cats would’ve easily discovered the truth of their Thunderclan origins.

Another thing is that Whitestorm would be a cashmere bengal and Stonefur would have a couple small, jagged spots but his long fur obstructs the bengal pattern from really poking through (saving him from Starclan’s wrath ripmosskit)
