Marvel Thor Ragnarok Phase 3 Pros and Cons
Pros
1. Thor Ragnarok is one of the best movie in the Thor Trilogy, and arguably the best marvel movie out of the marvel phase three line up back in 2017, the director Taika Waititi, completely did a 180 with Thor as a character but also did like a complete rebrand with the Thor movies as a hole. The first two Thor Movies went from Norse Mythology heavy, to syfy space adventure something you’ll see in the guardians of the galaxy movies, and I have to say it work it really did with the Jokes, action and characters just hit differently.
2. Cate Blanchett as the Asgardian Goddesses of Death Hela, is truly a insidious character ever introduce into the MCU and one of the first Female main antagonist in the MCU, i mean of all the threats that Thor and the rest of the Asgardians face, Hela is truly the biggest and most powerful enemy in the universe. Hela was so op she literally decimated the entire Asgardians army like it was nothing, easily dispatched the Warriors Three, able to take down a legion of Valkyries an elite units of Asgardian warrior maiden’s, holding her own against Thor when he finally reached potential as a God of Thunder.
3. Tessa Thompson as Brunnhilde the Valkyrie, Valkyrie is one of my favorite characters in Ragnarok and the more Interesting an complex one, because she is the leader of the Valkyrie legion an elite unit of Asgardian warrior women, who where sent to Hel by Odin trying to stop his daughter Hela from escaping her imprisonment. Brunnhilde was the only surviving Valkyrie to escape Hela unstoppable power, having to watch her sisters, her friends , people she’s train with for centuries just die in front of her and she couldn’t do anything about it. After losing fate for the thrown of Asgard, Brunnhilde went into exile on Sakaar, becoming a bounty hunter, suffering form ptsd and ultimately forgetting who she was a person. During the final act of the movie her development is compete, going from losing fate in Asgard back to the warrior maiden that’s she is ,Valkyrie warrior of legend.
4. The Fire Demon Surtur, Ruler of the realm muspelheim a being that was prophesied to bring forth Ragnarok the end of Asgard, what i really like about Surtur was his character design he really looks like a being of living fire and wish that we got to she more of him, in the main stream Marvel Comics Surtur is one of Thor and Odin biggest Threats. I wish that the movie open with a flashback with Odin in his younger use, in his prime going up against Surtur, back when Surtur was in his prime, in his full power because just like in the actual myth and in the movie Surtur does complete the prophecy by having the Eternal Flame the source of Surtur power, he able to grow bigger than the whole dimension of Asgard and by plugging his sword in the core of Asgard, he was able destroy not only himself but the entire Asgard dimension.
5. Idris Elba, Heimdall the sentry of Asgard final gets his moment to shine and he really deserves it not only for the character but also for the actor, Idris Ebla they really did utilize his character well in Ragnarok , and I’m so glad Waitit got Idris to come back and give him larger role that Idris deserve. Idris was not going back at all, like he was done with marvel, he was this character but Waitit changed that and I’m so happy that he did because Heimdall is a powerful character from the comics, people is really sleeping on Heimdall powers but you know what i blame marvel for it. In the movie Heimdall really showed us he’s power, his superior fighting skills, his manipulation of dark magic, the ability of Omni-sense, Transdimensional communication. Heimdall is truly the most powerful Asgardian ians of his time only behind Thor, Hela and Odin.
Cons
1. Now Thor Ragnarok is the best marvel movie in the Thor Trilogy, i do have some problems with this movie after seeing theaters first, and multiple times on Disney I believe Thor Ragnarok could have been better. By changing some character storyline for some individual in this movie, that the audience could have gotten a better connection to like Hela.
2. Speaking of Hela, didn’t really care for Hela being the firstborn child of Odin because that’s not accurate, in actual Norse Legends and in the Earth-616 the main universe of the Marvel Comics Hela is the daughter of Loki and she appointed to be the Goddesses of Death by Odin. In the MCU Hela comes across a standard generic Marvel Villains who wants to rule everything and everyone, this is what they should have done to Hela character in Ragnarok, having Hela being a tortured character, being the one that Surtur choose to be his Trojan horse to bring forth Ragnarok. Odin by wanting to prevent this catastrophe, he sealed Hela away in Hel and using his life force to hold her back, an she’s was freed when Odin passed Away. Spending countless millennium only in Hel, Hela is driven by revenge after having life taken away from her, by destroying Odin family and Asgard as a whole and becoming the very thing that Odin tried to prevent. If they would have done this storyline for Hela, Hela would have been a more tortured but yet sympathetic character.
3. Also Thor Ragnarok didn’t feel like Ragnarok if know what I’m mean, because you remember back when Kevin announce the Marvel Phase three line up, the title of Thor Ragnarok was very different from the official title revealed that we got was more 80’s inspired rock band cover, the one that was released back in 2015 had a more ancient Nordic feel to it. That made sense because Ragnarok is all about death and rebirth in the Norse Myth, if they would stuck to that original title choice Thor Ragnarok would have been a way darker film.
4. Hulk being in the movie, was an interesting choice but it did leave a major plot whole, because we never did get an explanation on how Hulk got to Sakaar. If you think about this is also a second Hulk film as well as a third Thor Film, because Thor Ragnarok also took inspiration from the planet hulk storyline in the comics. Also hulk storyline does overshadow Hela storyline, because i think Ragnarok should have focused more on Thor and Hela story and relationships that’s mine opinion.
5. Jeff Goldblum as the Grandmaster, the MCU version of the Grandmaster is nothing compared to his comic-book counterpart, in the comics the grandmaster is a cosmic level being an elder of the universe and the brother of the collector, he mostly a villain to the avengers and the fantastic four from the comics. In the MCU he act like care free but yet ruthless dictator who wants fame, fortune and power, it’s sounds like that’s what he is the comics but in the movie, I don’t know I can’t put my finger on it.

Marvel Thor The Dark World Phase 2 Pros and Cons
Pros
1. I know their are fans of the Thor comics and fans of marvel in general that would say Thor the Dark World is the worst Thor movie in the trilogy and worst marvel movie of all times, then again I’m a fan of marvel so rewatch the second Thor film over again and listening other views on films what could have been done to make this movie better, like i said in my last breakdown of the first Thor I’m a big fan of Mythology and after rewatching The Dark World to my, I think were people miss one of the best aspect of Dark World is that its more fantasy driven and mythology heavy, that is one of the aspect that this film were at their strongest.
2. The Introduction of the third Infinity Stone, the Reality Stone I really like the opening scene were Odin is giving a backstory about the Reality Stone in that time it was being called the Aether, also i like how the Aether has a sentience’s to its nature basically a living entity of totally destruction.
3. I feel like the Dark Elf were more of a threat to the Asgardians more so then the frost giants from the first movie, I’m not interlay sure if the Dark Elf really come from Norse Mythology or if they were just created for the movie but then again i like them because they prove that they were the biggest threat, like look how they easily invaded Asgard, sent a powerful doomsday like monster to destroy their shield barriers, had access to technology more advanced then the Asgardians.
4. Malekith Ruler of the Dark Elf race also known as Malekith The Accursed, i know he’s not one the best marvel villain but i like him because of the power upgrade he got during the movie i mean went up to god-level status after absorbing the Aether. I think people forget how big off threat that Malekith was because this is a powerful individual that is capable harnessing an infinite stone and he was so close to bring totally annihilation to the universe.
5. Frigga Also known as Freyja in actual Norse Legends, Freyja is a Vanir Goddess and the wife of Odin. She is the Queen of the Gods and the Goddess of Marriage, Frigga in the MCU is almost the same as her Earth-616 counterpart but still vastly different she uses magic like Loki and Odin and we see her fight Malekith like he’s nothing to her. What I really like about Frigga for her purpose of this movie is the sacrifice that happen to her because of her death we can see absolute character change from both Thor and Loki.
Cons
1. Now their still a lot of creative problems with Thor The Dark World in terms of storytelling and character arcs. The first being Male-kith, Male-kith could have been easily one of the best marvel villains, he needs a character arc so that everyone would feel some type of connection to him, like Thanos for an example, Thanos character arc was all about trying to save the universe form itself by snapping away half of the population from across the universe. Male-kith needs something like that an arc about him trying to save his race from extinction by using the Aether the Reality Stone to revert the entire universe back to eternal darkness so that he’s people could thrive once again but by doing so it would caused a mass extinction level event across multiple galaxies, if they would have chosen this storyline that character arc for Male-kith this film would have been golden.
2. Not seeing the other nine-realms of the Norse Mythology, look the Thor Trilogy we got to see some interesting places like Asgard, Midgard, Nidavellir even though that wasn’t a realms more like another planet, Muspelheim , Svartalfheim and Vanahiem. We didn’t get to see Alfheim home to the Light Elf’s in the comics or Nifflehiem realm of the dead again miss opportunity that MCU overlooked.
3. The Warriors Three, The so called greatest warriors in Asgard dimension still serve no purpose in the movie why are they here, again nothing compared to their comic book characters. They still look weak and their costume almost look cheap in my opinion, i wish they could have done more with these characters because i like comic books characters.
4. Lady Sif again why is she called The Goddesses of War, she still hasn’t shown me anything reason on why she holds this title.
5. Heimdall the sentry of Asgard poor Edris the really did wasted his character in first two Thor movie

Marvel Thor Phase 1 Pros and Cons
Pros
1. I’m big fan of Mythology so I was interested to see how the MCU will handled Thor trilogy that the character is based in real life Norse Legends, I have to say that my opinion is mixed because MCU universe takes place on Earth-19999 so Thor and rest Asgardians race are vastly different from their Earth-616 counterpart, don’t get me wrong i still like the MCU version of the Thor Trilogy and we got from it in terms character development and story arc.
2. Chris Hemsworth as Thor Odinson The God of Thunder, Chris is truly perfect casting as Thor he really embodies the character in terms of he’s acting abilities and physical appearance, now MCU Thor is mostly the same as comic book counterpart still different, but what I mostly like about MCU Thor is the incredible character arc that Thor goes through from his own trilogy to the Avengers saga, going from a hot headed tempered god to a more humble, wiser and compassionate individual who has suffered and Learn so much about himself and the path moving forward.
3. Tom Hiddleston as Loki Laufeyson also known as Loki Odinson The God of Lies and Mischief, what can i say about Loki only that he is the MCU top tier villain only behind Thanos and Erik Kill-monger. I know originally Tom audition for the role of Thor even going as for as wearing blonde hair and wielding a toy hammer, I’m so glad that he didn’t get the role because he’s perfect casting as Loki i can’t see anybody else play him not in the way as Tom does. Loki is more of a misunderstood character who’s just wanted to be accepted and loved by his father because in his mind he thinks Odin loves Thor more than him. I mean Loki was orchestrated a whole plot to banished Thor from Asgard and using the Bifrost Bridge to destroy the realm of the frost giants, all of this was only get his approval as a worthy son.
4. Anthony Hopkins as Odin Borson The AllFather and King of Asgard, Odin the AllFather was truly the most powerful being in the MCU and one of the few Individuals that Thanos waited to die, Odin dedicated his reign on protecting his people and maintaining peace throughout the nine realms by any means necessary by accomplishing so many extraordinary feats such as defeating the fire demon Surtur and stealing his power, stopping his firstborn daughter Hela and sealing her away in Hel and using his own life force as a barrier, defeating King Laufey and his Frost Giants army from conquering earth, even taking a power away from a another God like his own son Thor.
5. Overall the most positive thing about the MCU universe version of the Thor trilogy is the story arc and the character journey that Thor and Loki goes through while moving forward as character as the MCU going to a new era.
Cons
1. Now their are some positive creative choices with the Thor trilogy but theirs also the negative choices that they did with the Thor Films, the first being I don’t like that they made the Asgardians Extraterrestrials aliens in the Earth-616 the main Marvel Universe the Asgardians are a group of Extra-dimensional beings. In the comics their was always a balance between Extra-dimensional beings and Extraterrestrial beings, in the MCU their seems to be more aliens and less beings from a another dimension.
2. Also I don’t like how the Asgardians being technologically advanced because in the original comics the Asgardians relied more on Magic then Technology, we rally see any Asgardians using magic i mean we have Loki but to be far we only seen Loki used illusions casting, Duplication casting, conjuring that’s basically it but all that’s fine but its nothing compared to the original comic book.
3. Lady Sif in my opinion is the weakest Asgardians in the movie, Sif is nothing like her ComicBook counterpart I mean the MCU have the audacity to call Sif the Norse Goddess of War really she barely had any fight scene to show us why she holds this title, The Eternals Thena holds the title Goddess of War better then lady Sif.
4. Plus MCU is missing other Asgardians character from the comics like Tyr the real Norse God of War, Balder also son of Odin and Frigg, Honir Norse of The Hunt and Hermod the Norse God of Speed miss opportunity that the MCU missed out on.
5. Also why was Jane Foster in this movie, i know that Jane is the main love interests for Thor in the original comics but she and her team really serve no purpose in this movie and it’s really disrespectful to the Incredible Natalie Portman.

Doctor Strange Marvel Phase 3 Pros and Cons
Pros
1. Final Introducing Magic into the MCU, when I first watch the trailer for Doctor Strange I said to myself this is about to be a Mind-Bending Tripp of a movie and I think marvel really did a good job with this one.
2. Benedict Cumberbatch is truly phenomenal as Doctor Stephen Strange, I know the original casting choice for doctor strange was Joaquin Phoenix but after watching the movie like six times I really believe that Benedict was clearly the right choice. Also really love character arc that strange goes through, going from an arrogant person that’s trying regain his former life to becoming one of the most powerful magic welder of all time, because at the end main the important lessons that strange learn is that its not all about you.
3. I think it was a interesting choice for the explanation of how magic works in the MCU, drawing power by tapping into extra-dimensional energy from the multiverse. Also I really like the visual design when a sorcerer cast a spell, the geometric patterns of fiery/orange hue when a spell is being cast.
4. The Ancient One was truly a fascinating and complex character because of her motivation by harnessing forbidden magic. As the former Sorceress Supreme and leader of the master of the mystic arts, the ancient one have protected earth from other mystic threats for century by drawing power from the dark dimension to increase her power and giving her virtual immortality, this a character I wish we got to see more of and Tilda Swinton done an excellent job bringing this comic book character to life.
5. Dormammu the archenemy of Doctor strange in the original comic series, was visual compelling in this movie, being described as timeless entity the absolute ruler of the dark dimension when watching the films I was wondering are we ever going to see Dormammu in the flesh and once we did, they did not disappoint by displaying the absolute power that Dormammu holds that sequence were he’s killing strange in all sorts of ways really cool.
Cons
1. The Controversial casting of the Ancient One, I know I was giving praise to Tilda for playing this character but I didn’t know after the first time I watched doctor strange I went online to see everybody else review of the movie all I can see is the casting of a white person playing a character that is originally of asian descendant in the comics and Kevin Feige even apologized for that casting problems. I think this could have been avoided I would have still gender change the character and I cast Lucy Liu as the Ancient One.
2. Kaecilius the main antagonist of the Doctor Strange, honestly this character was mostly marvel generic but still had a interesting backstory his wife and son died he sought answer by studying magic under the tutelage of the Ancient One, he was lied to when he found out how the Ancient One has been alive all this time. In the right direction Kaecilius could have easily been the MCU top tier villains I mean you have the story but the execution wasn’t there.
3. Rachel Mcadams, Strange platonic friend and clearly former love interest was totally wasted in this movie, really disrespectful to the talented Mcadams I know the purpose of her character and again I’m thinking to myself saying why is this character even hear. When Rachel was first casted their was a theory that she was playing Clea and Clea in the comics is a powerful sorceress and niece to Dormammu I think Rachel would have been perfect as Clea miss opportunity.
4. Dormammu , even though I really love they displayed how powerful Dormammu was and he do look visual interesting but this Dormammu is not all how I pictured him, look at some concept art of Dormammu and theirs one that looks comic accurate I really wished they used the one.
5. The magic in Doctor Strange look really cool and I do love the geometric shape when a spell is being cast but how they explain it still reads more science then magic, I mean we didn’t even hear strange actually say the name of the spell itself it would be cool if strange said I summon the Icy Tendrils of Ikthalon.
Overall Doctor Strange is still a well crafted movie and I can’t wait for the Muiltverse of Madness

Infamous Second Son Pros and Cons
Pros
1. Infamous Second Son is probably the most anticipated game that I have ever played in a long time, I highly recommend for people who are fans of the Infamous franchise to play this game.
2. In terms of story, even though Second Sons takes place seven years after the events of Infamous 2 the gameplay storyline is relatively small and self contained.
3. Delsin Rowe, the main protagonists of Second Son is a relatable character in terms of personality and he view the world around him, I truly believe the game developers took character inspiration for Delsin from Nickelodeon Legend of Korra and Rouge from the X-men comics.
4. The introduction of new powerful Conduits like Abigail And Eugene, especially Eugene this guy is really OP in his own right, in a boss fight we’re Delsin has to fight Eugene to gain his power, this guy really displayed how powerful he was by manipulating technology and energy.
5. Augustine is a well written antagonist in Second Son, she not the only the leader of the D.U.P but an immensely powerful Prime Conduit that possesses the ability the manipulate the earth in various ways, it seems they took inspiration for her character arc from magneto from the x-men comics in terms of character motivation.
Cons
1. Infamous Second Son has its great moments but, overall the gameplay of Second Sons is small and short I took me only three days to finish the game vs The first two Infamous game took me almost a year to finish.
2. Their wasn’t any side missions that are connected to the overall story of the game, side missions that allowed the people to believe that the conduits aren’t a threat.
3. Even though their were special enemy type for you to fight against in the game, in the first two Infamous game you battled Ice Solider, Monster, The Beast.

Shang-Chi Marvel Phase 4 Films Pros and Cons
Pros
1. The Second Strongest of the Marvel Phase 4 line up.
2. A very nice representation of Asian culture, I feel like marvel is pushing the boundaries of positive culture respect in their films.
3. Also I feel like Shang-Chi took at lot of inspiration from avatar: The Last Airbender and Legend of Korra in terms of the visual fighting style that we’re used, the showing of mythological Chinese animal that were introduced, the story of the villain.
4. The story of Xu Wenwu is a very tragic and compelling one, this a individual who’ been alive and ruling a shadow organization for thousands of years and decided to give it all up for the name of love for his wife and children.
5. To be honest the true villain of Shang-Chi wasn’t Xu Wenwu or the dweller In darkness, it was vengeance.
Cons
1. Killing off Xu Wenwu and his wife Ying Li, their love story is the most beautiful story I have ever seen in a marvel movie, the little dance/fight scene between them in the forest was so powerful.
2. I wish we gotten more backstory on how Xu Wenwu gotten the Ten Rigs, I know there was some leak concept art of how Xu Wenwu found the Ten Rings maybe in the sequel we get to see what lead him to their discovery.
3. More backstory of the people of Ta Lo, Ta Lo storyline in the movie was very interesting, a extra-dimensional realm full full of magic and wonder that wasn’t fully explored hopefully theirs a Disney plus show in development.

Marvel Eternal Phase 4 Movie Pros and Cons
Pros
1. Eternals is one of the MCU strongest phase 4 line up of Movies, despite what critics and the rotten tomatoes score say, this is easily MCU top tier list of movies.
2. Also I love how mythology heavy the Eternal film is in terms of myths and legend, something that Thor films was definitely lacking and Thor is actually based on real life Norse Mythology.
3. Eternals is arguably one of the MCU most visual stunning and beautiful films, even more visual appealing than infinity war and endgame.
4. Deviants we’re very threatening in the films especially the Deviants Kro, also like how the Eternals represent the ancient gods and hero’s from different myth and legend, the deviants represent the different monster and demons from our myth.
5. The Eternals gave me Ancient Aliens vibe and seeing the Celestial in their almighty glory.
Cons
1. Lowest rated MCU movies, it’s still hurts me that this film is marvel lowest rated, to me the reason it received such a low score and negative critics review is that the Eternal is not a generic Marvel film and it’s entirely different.
2. Not enough Dane Whitman, The Black knight is going to be a very important character in terms of the MCU supernatural aspect of movies especially the end-credit scene we’re Dane is about the to touch the ebony blade and you hear the voice of the human/vampire hybrid blade.
3. More explanation of the relationship between the Eternals and Deviants, I feel like we didn’t get enough idealistic conflict between Eternals and deviant’s Especially Kro because he was very interesting character I wish we explored more.
4. Killing Kro, Kro is one of the Eternals most powerful enemy and it shows in the movies how powerful of a threat he really is, he’s the only deviant that has the ability the absorb the cosmic life force and powers of the Eternals.

Marvel Black Widow Phase 4 movie Pros and Cons
Pros
1. Black Widow Scarlett Johansson finally got her own solo movie its been long overdue Scarlett has been in the MCU for 10 years.
2. The introduction of new characters like Yelena Belova , Alexei Shostakov , Melina Vostokoff , Taskmaster and other Black Widows.
3. Yelena taking on the mantle of Black Widow in future marvel film.
Cons
1. One of the weakest of the Marvel Phase 4 films
2. It wasn’t the spy thriller movie that all fans we’re hoping for, fans were looking for that Captain America: The Winter vibe.
3. The most disappointing about the Black Widow film is the villain Taskmaster, seeing the movie three times already I can agree with everybody else that Taskmaster had so much potential but was wrongly wasted.
Here’s what I would like to see in a rewritten Black Widow Film
1. Black Widow Natasha being a spy that we all know and love.
2. I would have Taskmaster be Natasha long lost brother instead being the girl that Natasha tried to kill as a little girls.
3. Explore more about Natasha past as one of the deadliest Black Widows agent.
4. Alexei Red Guardian being a more competent and stronger in the Film truly being a more of a father figure to Natasha and Yelena.
5. And Finally Showing the Other Black Widows Agent as more of a threat restlessly hunting down Natasha.

Pros and Cons about the Resident Evil welcome to Raccoon City.
Pros
1. Game heavy nostalgia
2. Seeing classic game characters brought to life finally on the big screen.
3. Seeing classic resident evil monster like the Licker, Cerberus dog and Lisa Trevor in full glory
4. The feel of Survival Horror
5. The Zombies are more of threat and very unpredictable with their movements. Also love how you see citizen’s start turning into zombies it’s like a form of dementia.
Cons
1. Combining Resident 1 and Resident 2 into one film was a bad idea.
2. Raccoon City felt unexplored and very small.
3. Leon Scott Kennedy was very incompetent, then again he did kill the final boss monster with a rocket launcher so at least Leon did something.
4. No further explanation of Umbrella, The T Virus or the G virus.
5. Weak Final finally monster boss battle with a heavily mutated William Birkins.
Five things I would love to see in the Movie instead are.
1. Further backstory on the relationship between Claire Red flied and Lisa Trevor.
2. Leon being a little more competent.
3. Mr. X
4. Ada Wong
5. A Rewritten adaptation of this film, because people it’s not that hard to do a adaptation of a video game.
