I was right!!!!!!!!! Not on a Zuko level but still. I'm very happy
I mean, she's not wrong....
I have high hopes for Cindy's story arc. I'm really hoping for a Zuko level redemption arc.

Stargirl fighting appreciation 👌
I mean like dang girl. She doesn't even need the Cosmic Staff to do damage.
Courtney is a natural for crime fighting ⭐

I definitely have to agree. I loved this show! It was campy at first then got really deep and good and by the end of it, I had cried more times then in Arrow or Flash. The characters are amazing, the cast did such a good job. I highly recommend Stargirl 10/10 ⭐
You should give Stargirl a chance
Stargirl is actually pretty damn fun? Like I didn’t expect much but it turned out to be a really nice. It has the same lovable dumbass energy as Legends of Tomorrow and it’s just enjoyable
The series is centered around Courtney Whitmore
When she moves to a new town she accidentally discovers that her new stepfather used to be part of the Justice League as the sidekick of Starman. The Justice League was murdered years ago and he is the only survivor. She stumbles upon the Cosmic Staff he was keeping, a semi sentient staff of incredible power which bonds to her. She immediately decides to become a superhero
Pat is horrified at the idea but she doesn’t really give him a choice and she makes him her new sidekick. Once they both get their asses kicked by the villain Pat puts his foot down and tell her that they can’t do this anymore because they will get killed. Courtney instead decides well if we can’t do it by ourselves I will just get my classmates and form a new Justice League
None of them have any idea what they are doing but they are absolutely lovable and the show hits that sweet spot between light comedy and action with bursts of drama and serious issues.
The villains are also quite great. We see them at their most comicky at the start
but in present time they are subtle. They have essentially taken over without anyone noticing. They are the politicians, the philanthropist, the doctors, the rich respectable people. They have become the authority.
So if you want a fun enjoyable new series that’s quite aesthetically pleasing(thank god they didn’t make it gritty and dark) I reccomend that you give Stargirl a try. You won’t regret it

I loved Barbara in Stargirl. I was nervous for how long they would do the 'don't tell mom' trope. But they got over it quick and she even supported Courtney and eventually Pat in their superhero-ing. And bonus for Barb bonding with Mike, I loved it!
