I had a dream… Awareness-based Leadership
Do you remember about the dreams you had as a child?
Is one of them, or some of them, still vivid in your memory?
If yes, this dream is much more than “a simple dream”. It is your North star, a vision for your life, an energy rooted in the core essence of your being. Which will unfold with time and shape your life path.
Today I have decades of experience as a finance and people management executive, either in international groups, or in SME’s and startups. And all the while I was exercising this profession, with enthusiasm, dedication and satisfaction, it is actually my passion for the people and their potential that provided me with the greatest moments of joy and fulfilment.
It took me a long while to understand that the dream I had when I was ten was this energy acting: at school we had been asked to write an essay titled “What would you do, had you all freedom and means to achieve what you wish for?”. In short this is what I wrote: Each time I see, meet a person suffering I would like to be able to press a button and cure that person.
Today I am still a business woman, and also an acknowledged healer and wisdom keeper. Recognized as such by wisdom keepers of traditions originating from New Zealand, Mongolia as well as South & North America – even before a word between us was exchanged.
Awareness-based self-leadership – this is how the activity of a healer can also be described. It starts with a quiet mind: erratic thoughts are gone and one feels at peace. And then purified thoughts, originating from a “crystal mind” emerge, directly coming from the field of intelligence surrounding us all, the “one mind” – or quantum field. This same process “Quiet Mind” to “Crystal Mind” to “One Mind” is at the core of awareness-based leadership. This is what we teach at Athena InsideOut Education. It is ancient wisdom and knowledge remembered, reactivated in each of our cells: www.athena-ioe.com.

How to achieve Equality? How to work for Peace?
Recently I met again with a dear friend I had not long seen, also due to the pandemic situation.
When I first got to know him he was still employed in an international and highly respected Swiss corporation as an engineer. And he was brilliant. So much so, that the somewhat more senior persons in his department blocked him in his professional development. Where was equality?
He then took a very bold decision, decided to build his own company and to develop the solution he had so long dreamt to bring to life with his employer.
Today, his organization employs more than 100 persons worldwide, counts customers on all continents and is highly profitable.
Defining Equality as a value and a target to be achieved within a firm is a starting point only. Equality must be lived by each team member in the Heart.
Equality is only reached when both female and male principles are equal in a person’s Heart and Body. And this path starts with the Self. Knowing Oneself. Knowing who we are truly are as Human Being. Knowing what it actually means to be a Human Being. Knowing where we come from. Knowing our Purpose and Be our Purpose. For the good of Oneself, our Community and Earth.
The prerequisite for Peace is Equality. Without Equality, no Peace. Each one of us can contribute to both. NOW.
This knowledge is revealed through experiencing, learning with our Body and Intuitive Mind. This is what we teach at Athena InsideOut Education.

Athena InsideOut Education is a Human Innovation Institute.
Exponential technological innovations have changed the world in recent decades. In order to keep up in the world of 2050, every person will have to reinvent herself again and again. Human Innovation stands for the expansion of human capabilities. And the expansion of human capabilities is a must in order to
a) build an innovation-driven economy and
b) develop the ability to cope with change, to learn, unlearn and learn new skills as well as to maintain a mental balance in disruptive situations.
The expansion of human capabilities requires new forms of education. Forms of education that are no longer primarily focused on cognition, but on both cognition and intuition. And forms of education that implicitly incorporate the well-being of each, whereas Well-Being stands for mental, physical and emotional maintenance, growth and resilience.
This is why our Value Proposition also includes Well-Being.

The Crucial Role of Nature on Mental Health For centuries and across a multitude of eras and socio-political revolutions, philosophers, scientists, poets, writers, and ordinary citizens have always found comfort in the bosom of nature [1]. They have found inspiration that compelled them to create pieces and discoveries that would change the trajectory of history—even in the midst of crisis—all because they have had access to the Nature Experience. Modern science has provided a large body of evidence regarding nature’s critical significance to form physical health, character development, and mental wellbeing [2]. Not only is it linked to our very survival—with access to food, water, and favorable climate conditions—but it is also linked to our quality of life regardless of class or social status. However, urban cities which provide the best access to healthcare, employment, and education, have the least interaction with nature. Though big cities are considered ‘centers of prosperity' and are supposed to promote mental health, the same may not be true for those in the poorer end of these urban developments. The way metropolitan cities are built does not only rule out access to nature--it also removes low-income households from its equation [3].
Contrary to claims of mental wellbeing as a result of modern developments, contemporary lifestyle is actually associated with reduced time outdoors and more time facing screens and sitting down indoors. This sedentary lifestyle is a result of an ever-narrowing range of nature experience, encouraging ‘environmental generational amnesia'. Future generations are even at the risk of developing a skewed perception of what is considered environmentally rich. [4]. In a time of exponential change and explosion of virtual interactions, our need for nature can never be more emphasized. If past generations survived numerous challenges, it was only because they had access to a rich abode of nature. Now that it is our time to survive the current age’s challenge, with the way our spaces and communities are built, it is time to rethink our limited interactions with Mother Nature. Athena InsideOut Education is one of the pioneers promoting the importance of Nature and mental wellbeing, and the latter is integrated to all its courses. We believe that going back to our roots with Ancient Wisdom is key to unlocking a better future and that mental health can be achieved by striving towards a sustainable society and taking care of and being exposed to nature.  Discover our courses:

Purpose-driven is in everyone's mouth, but what does it really mean?
Tumblr media
Everyone, and especially younger generations, aspire to lead a “purpose-driven” life.
For many this is associated with the career path. A profession is no longer supposed to sustain one’s material needs only, it is expected to provide a sense of meaning and fulfilment as well. Referring to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, this would correspond to the highest level of the hierarchy: self-actualization or self-fulfilment needs and achieving one’s full potential.
Is “Achieving one’s full potential” synonymous with Purpose? In reality, as human beings “we are Purpose”. And to un-cover which is the Purpose anchored in your being brings you on a learning journey. A wisdom immersion beginning with understanding who we truly are as citizens of planet Earth and re-igniting our infinite capabilities. Which allow us to see, feel and taste thanks to Awareness and to get back to our original Oneness.
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us”, wrote Nelson Mandela. It needs some courage to go on this path. One’s light is revealed again and all the Principles such as Harmony, Balance, Equity, Compassion and Love, which are rooted in Consciousness, are truly lived. And the First Principle, which is also your own Purpose, is un-covered.
You are this Principle and this Purpose: your guiding light through life. Discover your Purpose with Athena InsideOut Education courses: https://www.athena-ioe.com/
