I'm a big Stranger Things fan but I hate the way that like every ST group is run on Facebook. Every group I've seen so far, either abandoned taking care of it, or the admins/mods are being way too strict. I created several groups and have taken good care of them. Some of my groups aren't active because there are hardly any members and none of them are active. I've tried to get more people and they are interested apparently. I saw this post once that said something like: my brother is cleaning out his closet and he must have reached the end because I heard him yell "I'm so far in the closet I found Dean Winchester!" 😂😂

That made me think of different ways the show could have explored Dean's bisexuality a bit more. You know, if they had decided to make it an actual theme of the show.

Cas would have been absolutely oblivious. I mean, this guy was amazed by a PB&J, he's not going to understand what bisexual means. 😂

Sam would have known. He knows Dean better than anyone. There's no way he wouldn't have known. But I feel like he wouldn't have really said anything. Not because it made him uncomfortable, but because he knew Dean would just shut him out and stay hidden in denial. He would have teased him and tried to drop hints that he's okay with it, but for the most part, he'd let Dean be. He doesn't care if Dean likes dude, as long as he's happy.

Charlie totally would have known too. And she would have taken a bit different approach than Sam. She wouldn't outright say anything to Dean, but would tease and drop hints like Sam would try to do. But she would be a little more open and obvious about her teasing. She would try to nudge Cas and Dean together.

I can honestly imagine Charlie saying something like the brother did above. Like she's on a case with Cas and the brothers, going after somebody (maybe a witch or psychic or whatever) who's taken a liking to Dean. The four of them go to the person's house. Charlie and Sam go upstairs to investigate. Sam hears Charlie yell out "Holy Sh*t!" from the other room. He runs in there with his gun drawn. He finds Charlie at the back of this huge walk-in closet. There are pictures of Dean plastered on the wall (the person they're hunting is targeting him for some reason).

Charlie turns towards Sam, points at the pictures, and says, "I'm so far in the closet I found Dean!"

That if someone says they’re touch averse??? That you don’t have to take that as a challenge and randomly touch them to see what happens???? You’re literally an ass. Cut it out.

If someone says “hey I don’t like being approached from behind” that’s not your cue to sneak up behind them and try to scare them/grab them from behind????

Someone letting you know things that can negatives affect them does not and should not have to be tested. Don’t be rude.

Gentle Reminder

If a person is stiffening under your touch or is leaning away from you or seems to be shying away from your hand, stop touching them. Stop trying to touch them. Those things are signs that they want you to let go of them and until further notice, stop touching them altogether. 

There could be many different reasons that a person feels like this. Something in their past, overstimulation, overheating, or they just don’t want to be touched. They could not want to be touched by anybody or they could just not want to be touched by you. 

The reason behind it and the extent of it does not matter. The thing that is important at that moment is that they are uncomfortable with you touching them and you need to stop. Don’t bother them. Don’t pester them with questions. Don’t keep touching them until they give you a reason. Just let go and move back.

If you make someone feel like shit for not accepting your physical affection, you suck.

I have had a lot of people in my life tease me or make me feel bad when I say, “no I don’t want to be hugged right now,” or “I’m not comfortable with that.”

I have had people tell me that it’s not that big of a deal, and I should do it anyway even if it makes me uncomfortable. I should do it for the sake of the other person.

This. Is. Bullshit.

And if you make someone feel like this, it’s not cool. They have a right to their personal space and comfort.

If someone makes you feel like this, it’s not cool. You have a right to your personal space and comfort. Do not feel obligated to do something that you are not comfortable with.
