Nephews first trip to France and his first time on the ferry ⛴️

Couldn't ask for a more perfect day, warm, sunny and the sea was so so calm.

We sat outside a restaurant in the middle of a square, nephews mind was blown from the Sealife centre and loved every minute of it.

We drove through Sangatte and saw the beautiful greens and yellows from nature

Another amazing year filled with adventure.

I've gained so much confidence throughout the year, I've planned a whole 2 day trip to Paris, I went on my first solo trip to Birmingham and managed to get lost and unlost in London.

I've been to London for 4 special occasions

× 10 years of learning Korean

× Hallyu Festival

× Disney Exhibition

× comic-con

I even got to stroke some Rhinos and fed Leopards

I've learnt that if nobody wants to do something then I can do it alone, but I've yet to gain the confidence to travel to Europe (Eurostar) alone but I can kinda feel myself getting there...slowly.

Let's see what 2024 has to offer me!

Most likely last adventure of the year.

Port Lympne (don't worry all these animals are rescued and living their best lives)where I got to stroke some Rhinos which are like giant doggos, loves attention and ear scratches.

I also got to feed a couple of Leopards, luckily my friend and I were the only ones feeding them so that made it more memorable and special

I've been on 13 trips so far this year.

Mostly day trips except for going to Paris and Birmingham.

I've been to London 3 times this month (Korean festival, Disney exhibition and Comic-con)

Also been to Cardiff.

I've gained more confidence through these trips like first overnight trip to Birmingham, booked and planned my whole Paris trip and been to London and tackled the underground alone twice this month.

There's still time for another day out

A lot happened on Saturday (7th October)

I tackled the underground absolutely fine, I was calm and somewhat enjoyed it, I was very pleased with myself HOWEVER turns out, I went to the wrong address, I thought I was very prepared, walking the Google maps route and everything, but turns out I had another hour to go on another underground towards Wimbledon.

The kind lady that I talked to in the library where I was wrote down the directions and I was in my way again.

A little upset that I got lost but still OK sitting on the Overground to Wimbledon.

When I finally got to the event that I was going to (Hallyu Festival) I was... disappointed.

Only about 7 small stalls, a stage for karaoke, some food stalls but I got to tick something off my bucket list: wear a Hanbok (traditional Korean dress)

I was there maybe 30 minutes if that so I decided it was time for lunch.

I found a nice little Korean restaurant just down the road.

I ordered an Uber back to St Pancras because I had enough with public transport.

Despite being let down by the reason I went to London, I wasn't let down by the fact that I proved to myself that I can do more then I think, I did the underground fine and got to wear a hanbok so it wasn't a totally useless trip, it was still an advantage.
