*eternals spoilers read at your own risk*
random thought but since the eternals are fancy robots, couldn’t you technically put them in rice to save them?
like when gilgamesh died in the amazon, thena could’ve put him in rice and he would have been saved. ajak? yeah sersi coulda put her in some rice and saved her lmao
not ikaris though. he’d have to go into the refrigerator straight up.
no wait the freezer. yeah rice can’t save him.

PREACCCHHHH!!!!!! we stan ikaris!! i have this friend who literally blames ikaris for everything and i always defend him saying it was ajak who turned his life to shit but he never believes it and says otherwise. now i have good reasons to hopefully change his mind. i thank you for creating this from the bottom of my heart.
Let's do some imagination, shall we? What if Ajak had never told Ikaris everything priorhand in Babylon 575 B.C (about the upcoming Emergence & their real mission)...
>> Ikaris would've had freely and openly lived with humans & explored them & their culture with Sersi. After all, she was the bridge, the lens, through which he saw human beings' beauty and uniqueness.
>> He too would've had naturally start to feel humans and Earth need to be protected, just as Sersi.
>> Ajak anyway explores humans herself after Babylon, so grows close to them & makes the decision of stopping/delaying the Emergence.
>> Here, Sersi and Ikaris too would've had helped her if she hadn't told him everything before.
>> After stopping the Emergence, Ikaris + Sersi, and all other eternals would've lived happily either together or their seperate lives.
>> Indirectly or directly, Ajak herself is responsible for her and Gilgamesh's death (think about it).
(i once read Ajak told Ikaris everything much early on as she was worried he'll grow close to Sersi and then won't let Emergence happen & let anything happen to humans or Earth; it makes some sense but I'm still mad at her for ruining my poor boy's life & making him live in a living hell)
