Hello I would like to find this one fic, from Ryan's pov, where he and Shane start to be too buddy-buddy to the point Ryan has Shane's clothes in his apartment, favourite cereal, both sleep together etc. AND when they finally start to make out, Shane backs off. Henlo! Hope you are doing well (｡･ω･｡)ﾉ♡. I have been looking for two fics for so long and scoured at ao3 but really cant find it

(;ŏ﹏ŏ).

The first one was with Steven L. where its like three different haunted houses and its liks worth it but the bois are in it. And the ot gets scarier for ryan in every house. There was some h/c near the end cause ryan couldnt handle the scariest one but shane was there to comfort him.

The second one i remember the least but i do remember like shane and ryan had a fight(??) at a very snowy location. So when ryan went to get away from shane he accidentally stepped on ice and it broke. Its also h/c cause shane managed to save him before he got hypothermia.

So there is this fanfic. They are filming at The Grand Canyon for an episode of true crime when they get pushed off into it by a ghost. They make it out fine (sorta) but whenever they are not touching, it causes them excruciating pain. I don't know what it's called :)

Ryan has gone through this before.

Sure, usually when he dreams about Shane dying on a shoot, it actually involves the supernatural in some way—aliens beaming down and vaporizing him, hands reaching from the wall and snapping his neck, a giant snake emerging from a drain pipe in a haunted location to swallow him whole. But he’s seen this too: Shane falling in front of his eyes, there one minute, gone the next.

Usually he would wake up as twisted in his sheets as his lungs felt in his chest, staring up at the morning light dripping off the stucco ceiling until he was fully back in his skin. He’d ask himself why the fuck this happens in his head, why Shane, over and over again. And then when no answers came, he’d remind himself that he was home in L.A., and that if something was going to kill Shane on location, it would have happened by now.

This time, there’s no blinking back to the safety of his room.

(Or; Ryan and Shane go camping in a canyon after a shoot. Shane falls off a cliff and into Ryan’s head)

Commentary: An iconic fic with an original and fun plot, I got really awesome memories of this story as it was the first on queue for the first Shyan Exchange I helped host years ago. I remember reading it on posting day at night, thinking about how unique and fantastic it was. Truly a gift to us all.
