I have been celebrating Nestivus for the past couple weeks... 😌😴💤

I love this concept from @sweatpantsandcoffee! This is a time for rest, self-care, and comfort--a time for hibernation in preparation for the renewal of spring. ❄️🌷🌿

As I sit here cozied up on my couch in the sunshine, protected from the -14 degree weather and just getting over a cold, I feel so much gratitude. It is a privilege to have this time to just be lazy, to take care of myself, to recharge in the peace and comfort of my own home with my loved one. 💕

I haven't been making jewelry or posting much lately, and this is why. However, I woke up this morning feeling a wave of health and creative energy, so I plan on diving into a long jewelry sesh today as I hide from the Montana winter 🥶

Happy New Year everyone!!! 🥳💥🥂

2023 was full of hard work and improvement on my little jewelry business. I branched out of my comfort zone to try new designs like spiders, spiderwebs and leaves! Although none of them are perfect, I'm really happy with how all of my new creations turned out, and I know they will just keep getting better! 🕸️🕷️🍂

I perfected my vending display/setup, and I am so pleased with how it looks! It actually matches my brand now--with the purple and lavender tablecovers, spiderweb earring display, live edge black walnut necklace displays (that I made myself), and even a new table that's counter height (so you don't have to bend over to look at my jewelry)! 💜

I gave up on Etsy and built my own little online shop, which I'm in love with. Sales have still been pretty low, but I'm not letting that get me down. I love doing what I do, and I'm hoping that I will eventually find a bigger audience who loves my creations just as much as I do! 💎

I'm still trying to figure out social media, which I suck at 😅 I started a TikTok, which is doing okay--go follow me if you haven't already! ✨

My goals this year are to get better at networking in my local art community for more vending opportunities, improve my social media and SEO skills to drive more traffic to my website, keep believing in myself, and never stop creating! 🙌🎨💕

My name is Leah Pisaruck, and I am the artist behind Spiderweb’s Closet. 💎

This creative journey began while growing up in Seattle, WA, around age 15, when my best friends and I began playing around with polymer clay jewelry just for fun. 🎨

The craft quickly became one of my many artistic hobbies, which included painting, poetry, and music. By the time I graduated high school, creating wearable art with clay and crystals became a strong passion of mine. 💕

I decided to call my jewelry business Spiderweb’s Closet for many reasons. First of all, my friends used to call me Susie Spiderwebs in high school. I also resonate deeply with spiders, as their webs symbolize creativity, patience, and interconnection. 🕸️

After a little over a decade, my business is still quite small, but slowly growing! I plan to seek out more vending opportunities in the Missoula, MT area, as well as expand my online presence. Follow me on Instagram, TikTok, and Tumblr 🙌
