she will not be painting with Feyre in her studio

she is not Azriel’s mate

she will not be braiding his hair, putting eyeliner on him, giggling or making friendship bracelets with him

she will not have kinky, or otherwise sex with him

his shadows do not ‘love’ her

she will not become a spy

she will not befriend Nuala and Cerridwen

she will not bake cookies or bread with them

her ‘flower’ is not a rose

she does not smell of jasmine

she will not ‘save’ Illyria

she will not defeat Koschei

she will not free the women that he’s keeping on his island

she will not find any Trove items

she will not be ‘challenging’ Rhys, or Az to anything–sparring, games, jokes, etc.

she will not be joking and playing around with them, and they will not trust or open up to her about their ‘trauma’

she will not reunite LoA and Helion (wtf???)

she will not encourage Mor to come out

she will not be doing puzzles with Amren

she will not be participating in the annual snowball fight

she will not grow wings (?) and go flying with Azriel and Cassian

she will not be ruling Dusk Court

she will not miraculously cure Azriel’s trauma–it’s 540 years old, it’s not going anywhere. He is not going to be cured by anyone.

she will not bear Azriel’s winged children with her amazingly pliant bones

the next book will not be a Gwyn book

no book will be a Gwyn book

she is a secondary character in Nesta’s novel. She might be a lightsinger. She may do some Valkyrie-related things. That’s it.

Head canons are totally cool. We all have them. But sometimes, we all have to distinguish between canon and a head canon.

Okay hear me out. What about Evil Elain. Like what if Azriel and Gwyn get together and are hopefully mates and they fall in love. Elain gets pissed off that Azriel has moved on so she accepts the mating bond with Lucien. She convinces him to work with the human queens and Beron. She could also be a light singer cause in acosf they talk about how she’s able to kinda emerge from the shadows (like azriel). What if the cauldron gave Elain the power to be a seer and with that she’s a lightsinger. Cause Nesta got an ancient power -death. Elain could also have an ancient power- lightsinger. She starts to backstab the inner court but they sense everything’s up. Lucien comes to his senses and realizes what the right thing to do is.
