WOOO RANDOM DEATH FAMILY HEADCANONS

Lmao sorry pissa and death family nation for being somewhat inactive, take these headcanons that probably don’t align with canon as compensation

THIS IS ABOUT THE CHARACTERS NOT CONTENT CREATORS BTW

Not a single person in the Death Family is warm to touch and can often be cold before bed, their houses and nests are always somehow really warm and blanket full

Missa and Phil built a small shelf in the kitchen in the house at old spawn, Missa and Chayanne have filled it with cookbooks

Tallulah knows how to make perfume and because Missa has been away for a while, Tallulah has been making perfumes for him for when he gets back

Adding onto the last one, there have been lots of ‘failed attempts’, ie Tallulah was being nit picky with the scents and trying to figure out exactly what he likes

Missa will like anything and everything given to him, so long as it’s made with love

Phil, on the other hand, will like everything and anything given to him even if it’s given with hate, because he assumes the other has a connection to it (assumes they might just like things like he does)

When Missa first left on the old spawn Phil used to make small dinners for him that wouldn’t go bad for a while just in case Missa came back when he came back

Overtime, they would get more complex and put in the fridge with a note left for him

Every single meal, regardless of what it is, will have toast cut in the shape of Phil’s had with avocado making the green stripes, and another toast cut like a skull with blueberries for the details

Chayanne used to stress bake when his parents were gone, and that improved his skills in cooking really quickly

Tallulah walks extremely quietly, Chayanne picked this up and it scares Phil every time

Despite his parents vibes and all that, Chayanne refuses to wear black sweaters specifically, shirts are on thin ice and black k shorts or pants are a coin flip, this is because he doesn’t like flour showing on them when he doesn’t want to use an apron

Tallulah used to pick at her nails when nervous, but started picking at flowers instead and now her nails hurt if she scratches you

It doesn’t matter who you are, if you become apart of the Death Family, the first thing you’re taught is how to paint your nails

When Phil doesn’t have a bookmark with him and when his wings had healed enough, he would pluck a feather out and use it as a bookmark

Either Phil or Missa doggy ears pages in a book and genuinely can’t tell who, I just think one of them does even if they have a bookmark available

There are a shit ton of keychains on Phil’s bag, you give him one, it could be of anything (besides anything fed related), it’s going on that bag

Phil sometimes wishes he could proper speak bird, I guess, this is only so he could also flirt with and compliment Missa in another language like he does

Chayanne has crocs

When Tallulah cut her hair, she asked for a photo of Missa and mimicked his hairstyle

Whenever Missa is awake/goes to sleep with Phil, the eggs silently rejoice because those two hug each other extremely closely when they sleep

Despite Missa being gone for the longest time, when Phil didn’t come back on Mexican Independence Day, he developed a fear of him leaving him, like physically being far away when he didn’t know where he is and if he was okay, he understands now what Phil feels when he’s gone

Missa, because he’s the tallest between a bird man and children, will pick them up and spin them, even if only for a bit lmao he’s not strong

Adding onto that one, whenever Phil is too excited or stress or just overwhelmed with any emotions, Missa spins him around to help and it works for some reason

Phil started to spin himself in circles when overwhelmed and when Missa was gone

After the birdhouse and when Phil was physically alone, he used to sit by a crafting table with rocks and ores and make little figures of Chayanne, Tallulah and Missa, they weren’t the best and didn’t the proportions weren’t amazing, but he spent weeks on each one and added little faces with a marker

He left the Chayanne and Tallulah statues on their respective beds, with Missa beside the flower pot, hoping they would be replaced with the real people when he woke up

They never were, but Phil put them in the window upstairs once the eggs were back

When the eggs first went missing, Phil took out some cookbooks, and every single meal that looked frequently used/visited was made, and always left out for Missa

If they weren’t eaten, Phil would eat half of it for his dinner the next day, the other half in a fridge

He actually made Missa a fridge to put all these meal in and painted it to suit his vibes

The trash cans used to always filled with sticky notes because everyday, Phil would write ‘Dinner for you’ with a silly little doodle on it for Missa if he returned while sleeping

Tallulah writes in cursive

When Missa was gone, Phil used to write his name like Misƨa (second s is backwards) and make the tops each s look like half a heart, so it made a heart in his name

Missa picked up on this and always wrote Philza instead of Phil so he could put a heart with the z and a

Suicide cases in gothem are about to fucking plummet boiz cause this one weird blue eyes, black haired boy is now heading to your location.

How does he know where to be? Having a bad day and are all alone? No the fuck your not cause don’t turn around now but theres some shiny blue eyes coming at you from that dark ally. Oh shit hes here to drop some information about you and your lost loved ones that he should know. Oh god the closure. How could you have been afraid on this sweet, creepy, boy who just helped you find your way.

Meanwhile Danny is chillin in Gothem cause the GIW hate it there (none of they equipment actually functions in Gothem so it’s either super haunted or actually not haunted at all). Then all of a sudden he gets approached by a random ghost begging for his help because their sweet baby girl is about to do something horrible. Oops now all the ghosts are following their most loved ones around just to make sure they are there to rush to Danny for help when all else fails. Now hes getting to fulfil his protection obsession double time because one hes helping protect people from themselves and two hes protecting everyone in Gothem by stopping people from becoming villains for revenge. Plus he gets to see first hand how hes making a difference because all those people he saved are sending him some good vibes from all across Gothem.

Thank god he followed Jazz around so much to slightly absorb some of her phycology knowledge over the years. Plus it was actually pretty interesting so she gave him her old text books. Shes also helping him deal with the rare events where he can’t save someone. Just a moment too late or he stops them but they later succeeded in the hospital. Neither are his fault. Now only if he could convince his core of that.

Anyway why Gothem you ask? Amity Park would have been just as good tbh but imagine Batmans face when he finally gets to be face to face with the emotional support ghost boy. Why is he here? Bruce is fine. Batman is fine. Hes not gonna do anything crazy. It’s just a hard time of year. Around their death always gives him grief. But hes an adult and can manage it.

“You know they are so proud of you.” The boy states. As if it’s clear as day, even though it’s Gothem and never a clear day. Batman blinks at him, stunned for a moment. “What?” This boy can’t possibly know that. No one will ever know that, Bruce can only hope. “They see their home, full of such life. That big house that felt so empty, so cold, to them as well for years. Then you filled it with Family and Love like they had always wanted for you. They are so proud of what you have turned it into. Somewhere full of life and warmth.” A small smile graces his face as finally “you have made your parents so proud” and its all he can do to contain himself. Emotions are running high and sue him because he really did need to hear that ok. The boy suddenly looks to Bruces right with a confused face “aren’t all basements like that though?” Before Bruce can even get a word in hes gone. Just vanished before his eyes.

here are my thoughts on a poly ship with ghost+soap and how it would begin because our heating still isnt on and it’s too cold for me to do anything productive right now

Ghost and soap began before you. You’re a newer addition to the 141 meanwhile these men have years of trauma, camaraderie, and connection that has led to a mutual relationship that has been going on for quite some time.

Ghost doesn’t like labels. He and Soap have been together for years, will share a bed and fuck like mad before going down to the pub together to watch a game but he doesn’t call him his boyfriend or partner because he still is skittish about saying it out-loud as if it would cause something horrible to happen to Johnny.

the classic “can’t say i love you x the person who says the soft “I know, its alright”

Ghost is the jealous and possessive type pre-relationship when it comes to other people flirting with Soap. He gets quiet and brooding and more content to push johnny away to protect his own feelings. Once they’re in a relationship he’ll just make a dry joke about how “somebody’s popular” before fucking him stupid that same night because he doesn’t care how many people laugh at his jokes and squeeze his bicep with a lack of subtlety. He’s Simon's and Simon's alone.

Of course, until you.

Johnny takes to you quickly. You're smart, good in a fight and you laugh at his jokes, it’s a clear shot to friendship from their.

He’s the mediator between the two of you, the one that sort of bridges you to Simon who is more content to be silent around you until after going through several missions with the task force you find yourself melding into the group with ease.

Simon of course, is old enough and smart enough to see Johnny’s attraction to you. He’ll bump shoulders with you in a quiet moment with that little smile, taunt you on the mat during sparring sessions that he leaves just a bit too winded to be normal.

It’s nothing more than a crush, really. You’re attractive and strong. He gets it.

Doesn’t mean he likes it. But it’s not something Soap would ever act upon so he lets it be.

Soap will make a light joke at it when they're together, that “you’ve got nothing to worry about, old man. I’m not switching you out for another pretty face anytime soon.”

Because even Simon could admit that yeah, you were easy on the eyes and good at your job.

However there would have to be a big event to make Ghost go “okay, yeah, I’m attracted to you.”

Rescuing one of them in an ambush, keeping them alive in a vital moment while putting your own life at risk for one of them in a way that is incredibly stupid and as a Lieutenant, he would rip you a new one for when the dust settles and wounds are tended to.

But after, he’d go back to his room and think of you until he fell asleep.

Soap sees it in his partner’s eyes a month later. You and Ghost had been sparring late at night, both battling our own demons that wouldn’t let your sleep.

Quickly, using your own size as an advantage you were able to get him to the floor and trap him in a leg lock.

Now, Simon is twice your size and easily a hefty 220 pounds. He could have simply stood up and slammed you back into the floor until you fell limp on the ground.

But he lays beneath you, large hands gripping the muscle of your thighs as you tighten your grip on his neck, eyes almost falling into a dark haze before he quickly taps against your calf and you release.

John Mctavish had his suspicions before, but know its clear as day to him of his partner’s desire for you.

And knowing Simon, he’s going to have to be the one to take the first step for them both.

You know what? Real talk, If Charles really could not attack after the pit stop like he is saying bc of tire degradation (he did have to go through half the grid after that pit stop) then I am happy there were team orders. Because if charles attacked with tires that were not doing OK and he lost against Carlos on 7 lap newer tires who have not seen an overtake the discourse of Carlos winning wheel to wheel would have been horrendous. It would have been worse than it will be now.

I am not undermining charles or anything. I think he didn't attack not because of the team orders but by his own decision. I think he would have attacked if he had a better grip on his tires. I think the grandiosity of Charles as a driver is exactly in the fact that he can read the situation and feel his car. Feel what he can and cannot do with the car. If the car felt like it could not pass Carlos in that moment I trust Charles that it is true. Any other driver in his position would have gone for it (cough Russel cough). He attacked in Monza but it was the last laps and he essentially had nothing to lose that year. This year he is in a fight with red bull and it was the beginning of the race so burning his tyres even more on a useless overtake would have put him in danger against the mclarens much faster.

If you think about it this was some brilliant management and decision making on Charles side. I am still his fan (shocker!!!) And I still love him to death and I think he made all the right choices today.

I think in game it's kind of presented that Julie Farkas thinks poorly of, if not outright dislikes, the Great Khans which I guess is fair enough but also reeks of the attitude of the writers viewing drug addicts and raiders as subhuman. And I don't think really it lines up with either the Khan/Follower relationship depicted in game nor does it Follow Julie's reestablished personality. I think she's a little exasperated with them but not enough to warrent the "who? Oh you mean those raiders who used to clash with the vegas tribes 🙄" line that she has about them like cmon girl 1) people are like your only allies outside of Freeside and 2) why are you taking the Three Families side in this??? They're causing just as many if not more issues than the Khans even Arcade has lines about how the Families are exploiting Freeside and I can't think who else she means by "vegas tribes" Anyway. It does make sense for her to be annoyed with how they're causing more drug problems in Freeside but i don't think it makes sense for her to be written in a way that makes it sounds like she's angry with the Khans for *using their precious medical knowledge to make the evil morphine rather than the morally good morphine* when really she should be more angry with House/The Families for causing the poverty in Freeside and the NCR for forcing the Khans into the precarious position they're in while disallowing the Followers from truly helping them. The fact that by the time that Fnv comes around the Followers and NCR's relationship has broken down should be enough for the Followers to revisit relations with the Khans since, as I said, the Khans have been the only truly consistent allies of the Followers and more importantly, the NCR JUST MURDERED ALL THEIR CHILDREN. Bad actually #But people get really heated about the Followers because they associate their own politics with them and take my critism of them personally #Anyway #It's their writing that I think makes them look bad and if I was rewriting them I would make them different #yes there are plenty of medical professionals esp those in emergency medicine like Julie who think addicts are evil #But I don't think Julie should be written like that and the writers were wrong for doing her dirty like that #She deserves to be a complex character who is politically minded as well as medical #And personally I think her fighting on the Khans side just makes more sense #And getting them involved instead of the garret twins would have been cool #But yeah the way the Followers and their interactions with drug addicts in game is blatantly written by someone who thinks poorly of addict #Sorry

i don’t really like omegaverse that much (absolute lie) but i DO think that house md would fuck *that* much harder if it was set in the omegaverse
