author’s note. i wrote it when i needed comfort a while back so i’m posting it bc i need it once again 👍👍👍 very self-indulgent but who cares ig (also i suck at titles lately,,, where’s the flavour)

wonwoo checks his phone. the wallpaper with a picture of you while playing with a random cat on a street lights up and he glances at time. you should have called him 10 minutes ago, that’s how he knows something wrong. he’s about to dial your number when your contact name comes up, another picture of you that he loves adoring the screen: when you were imitating hoshi’s double eyelid picture.

he picked up and there was silence. when you let out a slow but shaky exhale, he already knew. his heart clenched.

“um, hi” you said weakly, voice trembling “i… uh…”

you sniffled and wonwoo immediately got up, looking for his car keys.

“i didn’t pass…” a weak murmur left your mouth, barely audible. wonwoo bit his lip; he knew how much you were stressing out and how important the exam was to you.

“hey, it’s alright. i’m sure you did your best” he reassured, his deep voice warm like hot milk with honey on a chilly day.

“well, yeah but–“ your voice cracked, followed by a sharp sob. oh how he hated to hear that sound “but i didn’t… i scored very little points and i feel like a dumb idiot who can’t even–“

“stop it, don’t say it. you’re not dumb and you’re definitely not an idiot. life is, sadly, about failures and mistakes. you failed this time but you’ll do better next time, hm?” wonwoo comforted you, the sound of your uneven breathing on the other side of the phone.

“you’re right… but still…” your voice was small. he could imagine your teary eyes, wet cheeks and the way your hands were probably trembling and picking on your skin. and he didn’t like that one bit “others…”

“with all due respect, i don’t really care about others. you can always retake the test, no?” he asked. another sniff. and probably a nod.

“yup” you hummed, letting out another sigh. this one was more heavy but wonwoo liked this one better – it meant you probably started calming down.

“i’m picking you up and we’re going to eat something, how does that sound?” he asked gently. you were supposed to celebrate but a failure doesn’t mean you can’t treat yourself good.

“i… i’d like that” you said and finally he could head you smile “can we eat some pasta though?”

“absolutely. hey, y/n?” wonwoo’s voice softened, even though you thought that was impossible

“yes?”

“i’m proud of you. i mean it” as soon as he said that, he heard a breathy chuckle “i love you. will meet you in ten minutes, okay?”

“okay. i love you too, nonu” you smiled wildly to his delight.

It should've been a normal morning. Yup, this is 100% normal. Iruma is definitely not pinning you against the wall while his friends (Asmodeus and Clara) looked baffled at their friend's interaction with a stranger they've never met or talk to before. Definitely normal. I'm too high for this shit.

You've always admired Iruma from a distance, knowing that your chances at befriending him are slim cause of Alice Asmodeus and the fact the misfits moved to the Royal one. You were quite surprised to see Iruma, the most carefree demon you ever seen, in his evil cycle. Genuinely you were satisfied with admiring from afar but you started getting a feeling that someone keeps staring at you during at the cafeteria whenever you're sitting with your acquaintances l, or 'friends' as Iruma would say, while eating and chatting. You just dismiss this as 'just a feeling'.

"Good morning!" Shouted the student council as students landing at the front gates of Babyls. As you were about to walk to your usual group, you got startled by someone shouting.

"Wait! Iruma-sama!""Iruma-chi!" The two demons called.

Before you could even react to his name being called you were getting forcefully dragged by your collar. As you looked back you were surprised to see Iruma look a bit different? He didn't look like his usual carefree self but more sharper and dignified. At first you were questioning whether or not it was actually Iruma before concluding it was him.

"Iruma-sama why are you touching that lowly demon?"asked Asmodeus while Valac just nodded in the background.

"Excuse you?" you said back with a deadpanned look at the pink haired demon.

"You're excused," he replied back nonchalantly while you gasped dramatically.

"Don't you dare insult her Alice" said Iruma startling both Valac and Asmodeus. Uneasy due to the fact Iruma called did not call him by his nickname he froze in his spot. 'Am I going to be replaced by some lowly vermin?' was written all over his face while Valac just poked his sides.

"Leave at once, I have some unfinished business with Y/N here," he says as if he wanted to punish you or something. I mean I'm not complaining but still.

"Iruma-sama please allow me to get rid of the vermin for you," Asmodeus now with sparkling eyes said. What a change of demeanor I'm about to get dementia. At this point Iruma-kun looked like he was fed up with his friends' stubbornness and just made up an excuse while promising them he'll catch up later in class.

He sighs deeply before muttering "Now for you...," as you gulped."I've noticed you've been staring at me every now and then, mind explaining?"he said teasingly as the slams both his hands beside your face. I'm in paradise. Blushing madly at this sudden action you stuttered. If someone saw your face right now they would say you look like a tomato with drugs in it.

You laughed nervously while trying to look at everything but his eyes. Good lord have fucking mercy on this bitch. "What could you possibly mean?"you said sweating bullets as if you're experiencing drug withdrawal symptoms.

"Don't lie to me, I've seen you admiring me from afar," He continued "Did you know I feel the same was about you too darling?"

'Oh my, oh me oh my,' you thought as you blushed even harder than a tomato with drugs in it at his nickname for you. Thank the demon king I still exist you prayed as you fainted.

"Wait, Y/N-----!,"

That was the last thing you heard before waking up in the nurse's office with a bleeding nose 👍.

need to say something but it’s straight up about the themes of incest in asoiaf. so.

GENUINE question. i understand that like. ooo it’s the incest book it’s the incest show lol. but you see. and maybe i am reading too much into this. book. but i don’t think i am. but i am reading this and the subtext is definitely Incest Bad but society has made it so it’s fine for certain people in a way that’s inherently tied up with their power ie if i’m powerful enough i can do anything i want up to and including incest. so you know. it’s a thing that happens and no one in the narrative is gonna outright say it’s bad but like. you as a modern day reader should be looking at this and regardless of your personal feelings on the individual pairings (for example jaimecersei is an objectively fascinating pairing but suuuuuper fucked up - in a fun way! - both with and without the whole they’re twins thing) should be like What The Fuck. why is incest so rampant amongst the wealthy in this society. anyway. back to my question. how did this then loop back. in their multimillion dollar show. so that it honestly was just like hm. incest fine actually. and then everyone was like yup 👍 tracks for the incest show 👍 the incest show that apparently only i was watching in spite of the incest rather than because of it but apparently i’m the stupid one 👍👍👍

She did wonder where you were though....

She decides to ask someone from the team.

"Where's your new scout?"

"(Y/N)? Oh, they're reading a book somewhere in the base."

"Reading?"

"Yeah, the last one never liked books. It's a nice change to not have someone acting like a child around here."

Pauling was... perplexed.

You certainly didn't sound like any scout she knew.

You must not be a clone.

This began her search for you somewhere in BLU base.

She thought she'd never find you, which was uncharacteristic yet again, until she saw you perched upon some barrels deep in a book.

Yup, you certainly looked different than the others-

Pauling clears her throat, causing you to glance up.

"Oh? You're the inspector lady, right?"

"... yeah. You can call me Miss Pauling. I check out the bases monthly to make sure you have all your members. You're new to BLU, right?"

"Yeah."

"Is BLU team treating you well?"

"Mhm."

"... you don't like flirting, right?"

"That's an odd question...."

Her first experience with you is rather dismissive on your end.

She asked questions, you gave curt answers.

She did tests and you were indeed capable of the scout role.

You were fast and well trained with a scattergun, pistol, and bat.

You were definitely a scout....

She was just surprised by your personality.

Pauling would enjoy the ability to communicate with a team without being flirted with.

In fact she can barely tolerate the RED Scout anymore.

She keeps thinking back to you, the new scout on BLU team.

Hell... the only scout who respects her boundaries.

Isn't it funny how she soon does the exact opposite with you?

She's upset Jeremy won't respect her boundaries...

She then meets you who respects her boundaries...

Then she proceeds disrespect your boundaries in a desperate chase to be closer.

It's ironic and sad.

You simply want to read/do your job and Pauling is trying to situate herself as your friend.

It's innocent at first.

Friends you don't mind.

You get along and talk whenever she has the time.

Then she feels she wants to be even closer to you... while you want to do your job.

She doesn't like to flirt, but with the amount of questions she asks you you'd swear she was.

Pauling is being manipulative without meaning to.

She essentially becomes your Jeremy.

There's times you ask your team to hide you when she comes around.

You genuinely can't handle her invasive questions.

She gets upset when you avoid her.

Perhaps even a little jealous you trust your team more than her.

Maybe this job wasn't meant for you.

Maybe she can pull you from the scout role and move you?

Pauling wonders if she can bring you to her team, PURPLE....

It's against code but she considers it.

It's funny how she said she shouldn't be considering relationships...

Yet here she is, already planning to remove you from this unfitting environment.

Ok more seriously, it'd be more tedious and time consuming to rip a model from a Pokemon game, translate the ripped model to work with your 3d modeling program, and finally tweak the model so it's not actually identical vs just? modeling it from scratch??

That's not to say these models couldn't be made with the Pokemon designs in mind, but that's not what is being argued. It's being argued that these models are ripped directly from Pokemon (and "ripped directly" sorta implies zero alteration). This is simply just not the case. Your evidence doesn't hold up

Also this is like the 3rd or 4th different model I've seen argued to be a "direct ripoff" that just does not hold up upon any sort of inspection. Makes me wonder if people keep changing it because they know it doesn't hold up, but still want to argue that point regardless

Is there already a plan on what con you'll sell it at? And is there a way to support it upfront?

I'd really like to support it in anyway I can, but then I wouldn't want to make your workload harder than it is by commissioning - so I thought about like some kind of Kofi or similar perhaps??

Yup there is a specific con happening in May in Athens that i am going to apply for in a few days, if i get in then that's the con I'll be selling it at. It's called Comicdom Con

I will definitely sell it digitally as well, once I finish it and translate it to english, because it's in greek now. I will definitely post about it when that's ready. And when I know I've gotten in the con and when i know the cost of printing, if i have to do a kofi fundraiser i will also post about it. I feel very bad accepting random donations through kofi, I know this is something i need to work on and I definitely appreciate it, but I'd rather do a specific campaign if I really end up needing that kind of support.
