The Moonlight Lovers characters in Pokémon :

Hi! How are you? I hope you are well! ^^

Here's a headcanon that I was asked for but I've lost the request. I haven't played Pokémon for years. The last pokémon I played was pokémon Moon. But I hope you enjoy it.

Vladimir :

If Vladimir were a trainer Pokémon, he wouldn't really leave his house. It looks dangerous outside, and he could be attacked by a pokémon. He would stay safe in his little manor, away from the city with his roommates whom he liked to keep him company. Why go out anyway? Beliath and Ethan fetch him whatever he needs in town, Raphael and Ivan keep him company and Aaron is never far away. Plus, he's got his pokémons with him. He's never alone. In fact, his pokémons functioned as emotional support animals as a result, he rarely leaves them and he is even less likely to leave the manor without them.

Vladimir mainly owns grass-type pokémons, which help him look after his garden. He's owned most of his pokémons since they were little.

He's not a great pokémon collector, in fact, his pokédex is almost empty and apart from the six that live with him and those of his flatmates, he doesn't know many… His pokémons have the widest variety of characters. He's never really worried about that, and after all, he's accepted Ethan into his manor, even though he's got a horrible temper…

Leavanny (Bug/Grass): This was the first pokémon he ever had, when it was just a tiny Sewaddle. He always goes out with Leavanny if he has to go into town on his own. She's his favourite, both because he finds her very pretty and because she defends him so well.

Lilligant (Grass): He finds her adorable, of course, all her pokémons are adorable (much more so than Aaron's, in any case) but Liligant is really beautiful, he looks after her a lot and it's quite common to see her with Vladimir in the garden.

Leafeon (Grass): One day Aaron brought back a whole litter of little Eevees, their parents nowhere to be found, so Aaron gave them all one. Of course, Vladimir's evolved into a Leafeon. Hanging out so often in the garden with Vladimir, it couldn't have been any other way. It's the only pokémon that's allowed to sleep with Vladimir. It sticks to Vladimir's back while he sleeps and Vladimir has far fewer nightmares thanks to its presence.

Ribombee (Bug/Fairy): He got this pokémon when it was just a tiny Cutiefly. At the time, the pokémon hid under his hair at the slightest sign of danger. It's still doing it now that he's evolved, but because he's taller, he messes up Vladimir's hair a lot and isn't so well hidden any more. It doesn't matter, Vladimir still adores him just as much and gives him everything.

Florges (Fairy): He discovered Florges when she was just a tiny Flabébé among the flowers in his garden. Naturally, Vladimir took an instant liking to her. Now that she's a beautiful Florges, he's very happy to have her help look after and protect his garden.

Yamask (Ghost): Yamask isn't normally one of the pokémon he would catch, but the sad look on this pokémon's face made him very sad, especially as it was wandering alone in a graveyard. So he caught it and now it lives in the manor house and scares off unwanted visitors. Vladimir takes very good care of him and makes sure that he is never alone and sad again.

Béliath :

If Beliath were a Pokémon trainer, he'd always be in town. He probably wouldn't have the ambition to become the best Pokémon trainer, but he'd often be hanging around big cities, meeting other trainers and showing off his pretty pokémon. Mind you, he wouldn't come to do battle, no, he's just there so that you'll recognise that his pokémon are the most beautiful. Fights are fun for five minutes, but then you get sweaty, the pokémon are injured and their hair is all dishevelled, and you have to go home to give them a bath - he can't do that all the time.

He's particularly fond of pretty pokémon who take care with their appearance and with whom he could parade around town without the slightest problem. The other members of the manor find this a little exaggerated, perhaps he could favour power over beauty from time to time? But, no. That's not one of Beliath's ambitions.

He doesn't have a great knowledge of the pokédex, he knows the pokémons he finds beautiful, as well as those of his friends, but the others he doesn't study and Like Vladimir, his pokémons don't have any particular character traits, so he doesn't pay much attention to that. However, all his pokémons are spoilt rotten. After all, what could be too expensive or too rare for such magnificent creatures?

Cinccino (Normal): This was the first pokémon he ever had, a gift from his sister. He spends most of his time with it, and if he had to go out with just one pokémon, it would be her. Cinccino follows him everywhere and he hasn't been separated from her once since he was a child.

Lopunny (Normal): He caught Lopunny when he was just a Buneary hiding in Vladimir's garden. He couldn't resist her adorable little face. Buneary eventually developed into a Lopunny thanks to all the care he received.

Milotic (Water): He caught him when he was just a Feebas. He had to work hard to get a magnificent Milotic, but he's very proud of him. He shows it off to everyone he meets in town.

Sylveon (Fairy): It was no surprise to anyone at the manor when his little Eevee became a pretty Sylveon. At the time, it was all he could talk about, so much so that the others almost thought they were going crazy listening to him boasting about his pokémon.

Brionne (Water): He caught Brionne when she was just a young Popplio. He loves watching her dance and sing, and her antics amuse Vladimir and Raphaël. He's only too happy to have a pokémon who can put a smile on his friends' faces.

Spritzee (Fairy): Of course he had to catch Spritzee, she gives off a wonderful scent and isn't she downright cute when she moves around? She's the latest addition to his pokémon team, he adores her and often trains her in the hope that she'll soon evolve into a wonderful Aromatisse.

Ivan :

If Ivan were a Pokémon trainer, he'd be a young trainer who's just left home and… completely lost. He doesn't really know what he wants to do; becoming the best Pokémon trainer seems to be everyone's goal, but… is it his? He doesn't know if he wants to send his pokémon into battle, it sounds mean when you put it like that and he doesn't want to be mean to his pokémon… He likes his quiet life at the manor, of course, sometimes he'd like a bit more adventure, but to go on an adventure, you have to get away from the manor and… it doesn't seem like a good idea at the moment.

His pokémons are all still very young. He hasn't had them long and he's just learning how to train them with Aaron. He still has a lot of trouble understanding all the mechanics of combat, and everything he needs to know about types and specialities seems horribly complicated. He much prefers to play in the garden or the forest with his pokémons rather than trying to train them.

He has a pretty good knowledge of the pokédex, mainly because he listens a lot to the stories Aaron tells him about the adventures he had before coming to live in the manor with Vladimir.

Eevee (Normal): This is his first pokémon and the only one in the litter not to have evolved yet. Admittedly, Ivan isn't the most motivated when it comes to training. For him, Eevee is still just a little baby and he'd hate himself terribly if anything bad happened to him.

Jangmo-o (Dragon): This is another gift from Aaron. Ivan loves him, Vladimir and Raphaël a little less, because this little pokémon is very noisy. Ivan is trying to teach him to make his scales rattle in time with the music.

Igglybuff (Normal/Fairy): It's a gift from Raphaël this time. Ivan loves to hug him whenever he feels sad, and he's made it his mission to teach him to sing. Maybe his pokémon won't be the best in battle, but does it really matter? His Igglybuff only seems interested in singing and he can't see himself forcing it to do something it doesn't like.

Vulpix (Fire) (Shiny): This was the first pokémon he caught on his own and it's also a Shiny pokémon. He had no idea until he brought it back to the manor and his housemates told him.

Pichu (Electric): He's stopped counting the number of electric shocks he's taken because of this pokémon, but it's still one of his favourites. He takes it with him wherever he goes, usually letting it climb on his shoulders.

Tinkatink (Fairy/Steel): She's the latest addition to his team. He finds her adorable and can't help thinking that she looks like a little baby with her rattle. He spends a lot of time bringing her bits of scrap metal to make her happy.

Aaron :

If Aaron were a pokémon trainer, his aim would simply be to protect his manor and his friends. In fact, that's why he trains his pokémon. He never catches his pokémon with a pokéball, in fact he hates it. He finds the idea horribly cruel. There was a time when Aaron was the best trainer in the world, but he stopped everything to go and live a more peaceful life. Sometimes trainers still come to the manor to challenge him, he usually accepts, as long as he doesn't damage Vladimir's garden.

He adopted each of these pokémons when they were just tiny little pokémons. He can't help it, if his housemates didn't stop him, he'd collect every pokémon he could find and take them to the safety of the manor. In fact, it's partly because of him that there are so many young pokémon near the manor, they know they're safe near the human and his Machamp.

Aaron often goes out into the forest to train with his pokémons and to allow them to do a bit more damage than they're allowed to do in the manor. His pokémons are mainly Hardi, Brave and Assured except Riolu, Riolu is sassy, but he's the youngest so he has all the rights.

Machamp (Fighting) : He caught this pokémon when it was just a tiny Machop. It's the pokémon he trusts most, as he uses it to protect the manor when he's away.

Mightyena (Dark): He found Mightyena when she was just a tiny, injured Poochyena. He nursed her back to health and she has lived in the manor with him ever since.

Armarouge (Fire/Psy): If he can't go out on the town with Vladimir, Raphaël or Ivan, he always asks Armarouge to accompany them. He knows that his friends won't risk anything with him and he's very proud to have such a strong, loyal pokémon.

Flareon (Fire): One night when he was walking in the woods to train his pokémons, he came face to face with a litter of Eevee. The parents were nowhere to be found and the pups seemed to be starving and sicking, so he took them home and gave one to each of them. His became a magnificent Flareon, but of course Vladimir doesn't want to see this pokémon in his garden.

Lycanroc (Rock) (Midnight form): His pokémon literally terrifies Vladimir. This tends to provoke a lot of fighting between him and Vladimir's Leavanny. Living together isn't always easy, but Aaron knows how to convince his pokémon to stay calm.

Riolu (fighting) : He's still just a baby, because it's not been long since Aaron found him. Is he his favourite little one? He won't answer the question. Of course he doesn't have a favourite, not at all, Riri is just adorable… (He's totally spoilt rotten and is probably the most temperamental pokémon in the manor).

Raphaël :

If Raphaël were a pokémon trainer, he would probably live at the manor with Vladimir but would often go out into town to meet other trainers, fight them and have fun. He's not a great pokémon trainer, he likes fighting for fun, but he's not particularly interested in being the best. His pokémons function as emotional support animals for him, especially his Togekiss, which he can't keep his hands off.

His pokémon types are mainly Fairy and Psy. Even though he loves a good fight, he's very protective of his pokémon. Listen, if you hurt his pokémon, he's more than willing to challenge you to a duel, a real sword duel between trainers with no pokémon to help you. These pokémon aren't the only ones who know how to fight, after all.

He doesn't know why, but he only attracts pokémon that are Jolly, Naive, Pressed or Shy. Aaron told him it was because he always gave off a sweet scent, but he doesn't think there's any connection.

Togekiss (Fairy/Flying): This was his very first pokémon. He got it when he was just a little Togepi. Raphaël loves it and takes it everywhere with him. He couldn't live without him anyway, and gets very anxious when he's not with him.

Houndstone (Ghost): Of course, no one at the manor is exactly reassured to see Raphaël befriending a pokémon that can suck the life energy out of its trainer. But Raphaël seems so happy with his pokémon that no one dares force him to part with it. What's more, Houndstone takes great care of Raphaël and always protects him.

Indeedee female (Normal/Psychic): This pokémon never leaves Raphaël's side. She's always with him, no matter what, and it will be very difficult to defeat her and force her to move away from her trainer.

Espeon (Psychic): Ethan was certain that the Eevee Aaron gave Raphael would become an Espeon, and he was not mistaken. Most of the time, he walks right next to Raphaël with Houdstone to guide him around the city and prevent him from tripping and hurting himself.

Swirlix (Fairy): One day Raphaël simply came home with this pokémon. No one at the manor was surprised, he looks like candyfloss, he smells like candyfloss and like Raphaël he has a passion for sweets, the only problem is that spending on sweets has doubled since he arrived.

Mimikyu (Fairy/Ghost): This is the most recent pokémon in his team. He met him in an old abandoned manor house and couldn't bring himself to leave him there, sad and alone. So he took him home to look after him. It's lucky for Mimikyu because he couldn't have found a kinder trainer. Raphaël spends an inordinate amount of time telling him what a beautiful and adorable pokémon he is.

Ethan :

If Ethan were a pokémon trainer, he'd be a doctor in a pokémon center. No, he doesn't want to be here, yes, you're boring him with your irresponsible trainer problems. Of course he'll treat your pokémons, he has no choice now that you've brought them to him. He's not a pleasant doctor, in his defense, he meets irresponsible trainers every day who hurt the adorable pokémons they swear they adore. He's got a lot to be angry about.

His pokémon are sassy or naughty... there's really nothing he can do about it. he only catches pokémon like that and it's not even on purpose. Vladimir keeps telling him it's because they're so alike and… he'd almost take it the wrong way if it weren't a bit true.

He sleeps with his pokémons around him, even if he denies it. He feels much safer with them close to him when he's asleep, and with good reason, after all: who would dare attack a trainer sleeping in the middle of his faithful pokémons?

Reuniclus (Psychic): This was his first pokémon, a gift from his parents. At the time, his pokémon was just a little Solosis, but he was already taking it everywhere with him (he used to hide it in his schoolbag when he went to school). Today, his pokémon has evolved, but it still never leaves his side.

Alakazam (Psychic): This was the second pokémon he caught at the start, it was just a little Abra, but he evolved it and it became a powerful Alakazam.

Indeedee male (Psychic/Normal): He always goes to work with Indeedee, who is a very efficient pokémon and a great help when he has to look after pokémons. What's more, he can ask her to look after the other members of the manor for him, which always reassures him.

Phantump (Ghost/Grass): He really wishes he hadn't become attached to Phantump, but he feels so guilty that he couldn't part with him even if his life depended on it.

Glaceon (Ice) : He didn't want little Eevee at first, but Aaron dropped him in his arms without giving him a choice. Of course, he's taken care of her and yes, he likes her, he can't deny it Glaceon is adorable.

Cubchoo (Ice): Initially, this was an injured wild pokémon that had been taken to his pokémon centre. He hadn't planned to keep him, but he needed constant care, so he took him to the manor to be able to look after him more easily. He keeps saying he's going to free him one day, but… he's made a place for him in his room and Cubchoo even sleeps with him, so… that's not likely to happen one day.

Neil :

He's the best trainer. Look, he can't help it, it wasn't even his basic aim, but his opponents were all… lousy, horribly lousy. He keeps letting new trainers challenge him, but he always wins. It's almost boring for him, sometimes he'd like a real challenge.

He's got two legendary pokémons and all the others are chromatic pokémons. Does he intend to get all the pokémons in the pokédex in shiny version and all the legendary ones? Yes, of course, he's not here for fun. He needs to show the world that you should fear him.

He knows the pokédex by heart, as well as all the techniques and abilities of the pokémons. He's a veritable encyclopaedia on the subject. He doesn't seem very friendly though, even with his pokémons, but that's just an appearance he gives himself. When he's alone with them he's much more affectionate, after all if they're part of his team it's because he loves and respects them a little.

Zoroark (Dark): This was the first pokémon he got, a gift from his mother, it was just a little Zorua at the time. He lived alone with it for a long time and is therefore very close to his pokémon. It's the only one in his team that isn't a shiny or a legendary. He wouldn't part with it for the world.

Umbreon (Dark) (Chromatic): He adopted him when he was just a little Eevee. He'd be lying if he said it wasn't his adorable little face that won him over. His Eevee quickly evolved into an Umbreon, and like his Zoroark, he's attached to it. This pokémon always walks beside him with a gait as proud and arrogant as its trainer.

Tyrantrum (Dragon) (Shiny): The power this pokémon exudes makes it proud. Admittedly, it's a bit destructive and it's pretty hard to get around town with it, but people are quickly frightened by its appearance and that's all that matters.

Ceruledge (Fire/Ghost) (Chromatic): Not his most impressive pokémon, but as with Umbreon and Zoroark he's very attached to it.

Xerneas (Fairy) (Legendary): This is the first legendary pokémon he's managed to catch, and he's very proud of it, often going out on the town just to parade it around. Given its size, it tends to create chaos around him, but Neil doesn't really care.

Giratina (Ghost/Dragon) (Legendary): He had a lot of trouble finding and catching it. He loves his scary appearance - he loves arriving somewhere with his pokémon right behind him and seeing people's faces slowly become terrified.

Léandra :

She doesn't want to be the best trainer, she just wants to have fun. Fighting is of course fun and she never hesitates to accept it, but she would much rather party and go to parties than spend an entire evening fighting other people.

Like her little brother, Léandra is particularly fond of beauty in her pokémons, so she likes to be able to strut her stuff with them while winning battles. But she especially enjoys helping them win beauty contests.

She's not looking for a particular type of pokémon or character, but her pokémon can all learn the Charm move.

Gardevoir (Psychic/fairy): This was the first pokémon she ever got, a little Ralts at the time. In fact, she wasn't really trying to catch pokémons at the time, just the young pokémon followed her around a bit and she finally decided to keep it with her. She looked after him a lot and he's now a powerful Gardevoir, and what she enjoys most is being able to send him to check on her little brother discreetly.

Tsareena (Grass): This is the second pokémon she's had and the first she caught on her own. She never leaves her team. It started out as a tiny Bounsweet and maybe she caught it because she had the same adorable smile as her little brother. Little by little, she evolved into a beautiful Tsareena.

Gothitelle (Psychic): She thinks she's a perfect match for her little Tsareena. These two pokémons have such an arrogant look in their eyes. In fact, she got them at the same time. She loved watching them play together when she hadn't yet evolved them. Now she almost always travels with these two pokémons beside her.

Aromatisse (Fairy): She caught it after learning that it could give off a very bewitching scent.

Vaporeon (Water) (Shiny): She didn't really expect to fall for this little pokémon, but she realised she absolutely had to have one after seeing her brother's adorable Eevee. Hers has become a Vaporeon, so she might have preferred a Sylveon like her brother, but she consoles herself by saying that at least hers is a Shiny.

Diancie (Rock/Fairy): Diancie is the youngest of her group. She had a lot of trouble getting her, but after several years she finally succeeded. She takes very good care of it, and it has quickly become her favourite.

Farah :

If Farah was a pokémon trainer, her life wouldn't change much. She would roam the forest with a group of friends, living as close as possible to wild pokémon and studying them. Becoming the best trainer wouldn't be her goal at all, but she would have fun challenging the poor innocent trainers who had only planned to go for a walk in the forest.

She knows the pokédex by heart, and even the rarest pokémons hold no secrets for her. She could spend hours telling you all about them without getting tired. Like Aaron, she never uses a pokéball to catch her pokémons and keep them with her. She doesn't like this way of doing things at all, and the mere idea of locking one of these pokémons inside a pokéball makes her anxious.

Serperior (Grass): This was the very first pokémon she ever had, a gift from her big brother after they left home. At the time, it was just a little Snivy. It was her brother who taught her how to look after it and train it. Now that her brother is gone, it's the only memory she has of him, and she'll never part with Serperior.

Lycanroc (Rock) (midday form): This was the first pokémon she ever caught on her own. At the time, it was just a tiny Rockruff and she really couldn't resist its adorable little face. She trained him a lot so that he would become powerful and be able to protect her people, and he became a powerful Lycanroc, the pokémon she trusts most to protect her pack.

Thievul (Dark): She caught this pokémon after watching the food supply disappear for several days. At the time it was just a little Nickit, but she managed to catch it and it eventually stayed to live with its pack.

Houndoom (Dark/Fire): One of the pack members' pokémon had a whole litter of Houndour, so of course Farah took one for herself. As every member of the pack has done the same as her, their camp is always very well protected.

Jolteon (Electric): He arrived at the same time as his little Deerling, the two pokémons never leave each other's side and they seem to be very popular with the older pokémons in the pack.

Deerling (Normal/Grass): People always think it's a bit strange to see a tiny Deerling around a Lycanroc, a Houndoom and a Thievul, but it was her Lycanroc that guided her to this little pokémon. It was injured and her parents were nowhere near, so Farah had originally planned to nurse it back to health and then free it, but the little pokémon hasn't left her side since she nursed it back to health.

I’ve been thinking a little about why I like the autistic!Raph idea so much, especially when I’m kicking it around with @leonsi, and I think it has something to do with the fact that Raph being autistic breaks a lot of stereotypes about autism.

Don’t get me wrong, I will defend autistic!Donnie headcanons until the day I die, and I love autistic Donnie so very much, but I feel like at least part of the reason they’re so popular is because they fit the popular stereotype of the autistic genius.

A tall, thin guy (seriously, they’re all tall and thin, it’s weird) who’s a little hard to handle, but makes up for it by being super-smart. Specifically, super-smart about useful things, like science and technology.

It all ties into the indigo children theory, this idea that “weird” kids are expected to save the world adults and neurotypicals fucked up--more prominent in the 90s, but fuck knows you can still find examples of it around here.

In 20-freaking-18 The Predator remake, already shitty enough on its own, framed autistic people as “the next step in the evolutionary chain,” which is in the end just another responsibility we have to take--to be better, to be useful.

Of all his brothers, Raph’s differences are definitely the least useful. He’s hard to handle, he’s prickly, he’s irritating, he's physically aggressive about protecting his space in a way that sometimes pisses off the people around him, and certain members of the fandom even more so.

And unlike, say, 2018 Donnie (who is objectively a lot worse and loved a lot more) he doesn’t make up for this by being ridiculously smart or intuitive. He’s not special like a Shelldon Cooper or a Spencer Red or a Sherlock, a kind of special that cancels out oddness with above-and-beyond results.

But this behavior also makes Raph Raph, and that matters more than his capacity to be useful or lack thereof. He grows and changes and fights, he’s useful and useless in equal measure, like any person. That’s the kind of autism that you create when you headcanon Raph as autistic.

And I see myself there. I’m not a science whiz, I don’t invent impossible things or make astounding deductions, my autism doesn’t make me useful or entertaining to watch. I forget how to dress properly, I forget to make room in my conversation for others, I’m rude without meaning to be.

And I try to do better, without super-compensating by making myself extraordinarily useful. I know that I have worthy even if I am not always brilliant or fun to be around, and so does Raph.

My point is that Hamato Raphael is a Mean Autistic who manages to be worthy of respect despite not being relentlessly cheerful or a supergenius, and I feel like we need more of that kind of representation in our media. And if we’re not going to get it handed to us, we’ll carve it out ourselves.

i want to eventually move over all my blusky rambling to here, because reading through even your own older posts on bluesky is still DOGSHIT. But I'm very very tired from health issues so I'll figure that out later. but I do wanna post this. I was scouring through the devnotes for Raphael, Hope and Korrilla (still haven't gotten to the end of HoH so also desperately avoiding cutscenes I have yet to reach lmao playing with fire, oh well)

AND THIS ONE! THIS ONE STOOD OUT TO ME!

Korrilla: Poor, deluded Hope. She's stubborn. Raphael loves stubborn. If she'd just agree to serve him, he'd probably have released her a long time ago. Korrilla: As things stand, she's his favourite toy. We're all mad here, but Hope in hell? Why that's the definition of insanity. Devnote: NodeContext: Complicated feelings. Both jealous of Raphael's attention and sad because she knows her sister doesn't want it.

I don't think the emotions expressed in the devnote come across in the line as voice-acted in the game, but the fact it was the writer's intention is so startling, and really explains a lot of the dynamic between these two... Hope absolutely loathes Raphael. She has resisted giving into him for an untold number of years, refused him at every juncture despite the tortures it earns her. he's obsessed with her because she's something he can't claim ownership of, no matter what he does, and it infuriates him. And then there's Korrilla. Her own sister has basically abandoned her, sided with her abuser, become deathly loyal to him, JOINED in torturing her ("Sister, my sister, oh what have you done? Sold me for soul scraps, torment me for fun!" as Hope says.) Basically wholly given herself over to Raphael as an extension of his will, as a tool and a weapon for him to make use of. Even seems to have moments of casual camaraderie with him (the silly betting over what their clients will manage do...) The depths of abandonment and resentment Hope must feel!

And yet apparently Korrilla's jealous that Raphael is still so fixated on the sister of hers who refuses him at every turn, when she's practically his star employee, the person he relies on most. Everything she does for him and he still wants a woman he cannot break down into wanting him. Jealous yet still sad about what her sister is going through, still having this shred of empathy, even while thinking Hope is bringing it on herself, because wouldn't it be so easy to say "yes"? Wouldn't it be so easy to give in?

And it's not like Korrilla wasn't subject to Raphael's violence, if we go off this note, but apparently she took to the Hells and the expectations of its hierarchies and means of survival very quickly and very well. Also personally I don't interpret this jealousy as a romantic thing on Korrilla's part, but who knows what the writer's intention was. Literally the only mention of these feelings of Korrilla's, as far as I know, is this devnote. I will keep an eye out as I continue to play and adjust my interpretations accordingly lmao

Leonardo:

Leonardo like vampire/fantasy movies. Listen, just because he has to be the serious one, doesn't mean he can't also be a nerd.

His favourite movie is "Interview with a Vampire". Just something about the beauty of this movie he enjoys.

A close second is the LOTR Trilogy. Sometimes while he's meditating, he will have "Taking the Hobbits to Isengard" on repeat through his headphones; he'd never hear the end of the teasing from his brothers otherwise.

Rahpael:

Raphael loves violence, but his favourite kind of movies are chick flicks. So movie nights with April are always fun as they gush over all the girly things.

His favourite chick flick is "Legally Blonde". Raph says the character development of Reese Witherspoon's character was well done.

He so wishes that she could be his lawyer, something about all that pink would distress him from all the black.

Donatello:

If Donatell had the chance to attend school, he would most definitely be a theatre kid. So his favourite kind of movies are ones with musicals.

His favourite movie has to be Grease. John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John, such beautiful numbers between them.

Living in the abandoned underbelly of New York has its perks. Donatello has a secret soundproof room, to which he hides every piece of Grease merchandise he could get his hands on. Not to mention he can freely dance the numbers and belt out Danny Zuko's songs to his heart's content.

Michelangelo:

Mikey loves all kinds of action, so it's no surprise his favourites movies are all action-packed masterpieces.

His all time favourite movie is "White House Down". Guns blazing, fight scenes, blood and badassery? Not to mention Emily Cale's bravery being just a kid was his favourite part.

Try as he might though, he cannot hide his massive man crush on Channing Tatum in this movie, Ex-Military man protecting the president? Mikey says its drool worthy.

um .. hiii i love ur art and writing so much and i jus. wanted u to know fallen gabe occupies my brain very often and i love the symbolism you use in a bit of your artwork, concepts and writing n its cool to see how much passion u put into everything :} i like hearing your understandings of the characters in their depth its really cool...

are there any little tidbits or scenarios youve thought of that you havent written about or shared yet, either deep or just fun and silly?

aaaaa thank you so much!!! i'm so happy you all give me the chance to express my thoughts and that you enjoy reading them even if i talk a whole lot.....i have definitely gotten very attached to this au and i'm glad you enjoy it with me, it's been so fun building it up and also getting to explain why make the choices i do (plus getting ideas from asks!!) also just so you know,,,,you have beautifully delicate work, it is so incredibly romantic in appearance and i absolutely love it ;o; it's so light and dreamy...i'm always amazed by how lovely it is!

as for other little scenarios, i have,,,,so many,,,,but i'll talk about a few of my faves!!

one scene i REALLY would like to draw out is raphael meeting with gabriel after he shows the councilor's head to heaven - raphael finds him before he leaves for hell and it's just...very quietly tragic, because the archangels in my headcanon are all connected, sharing in their souls and emotion. for gabriel's light to be ripped from him, for him to be bound for hell and surely for his death, is incredibly traumatizing for raphael, who will now also essentially be alone - michael left when god disappeared and uriel is in "meditation" (a coma really) so it's just been raphael and gabriel left, seeing each other in their brief times for rest (they all lived together - they would check on uriel before sitting together in the little time they had) they had drifted with all their duties, but they were forever bound as siblings and they took a lot of solace in each other's presence. at least that was constant. but now michael is gone, uriel won't wake up, and gabriel is dying. raphael is left as the last archangel standing and surely all of heaven will look to him for leadership. and gabriel knows he will be a good steward, not power hungry in the slightest. yet raphael is betrayed, hurt, he can't understand why this happened, why gabriel has to go now. there's so much to say and no time to say it. so ultimately raphael just embraces and blesses him (to gabriel's surprise given his slaughter of the council), telling him to take care even if there's no time left. i just. i love the archangels as a little sibling group that's fallen apart, yet there is still love in each of them ;~;

another scenario (or...set of vignettes i suppose) deal with v1's time before man's extinction, when it was still being tested in its facility. v1 was actually fairly "close" with the mechanics that repaired it and they got to know a lot of its idiosyncrasies (as well as v1 still using a lot of their vocabulary when it signs now) i have like. an entire silly scene where they wake it up for a little office party (NOT supposed to!!!!) and how v1 sometimes liked to "play hooky" from drills by pretending to be broken in some way (the mechanics got wise to it eventually, telling it that if it keeps that up they're gonna turn it back into scrap!!!) it didn't form any deep bonds with them like it might be able to now since it wasn't advanced enough then, but v1 remembers them fondly now that it has the capacity to. additionally, in that comic i made about meeting its makers in violence, i thought about including a little scene where one of the husks repairs some damage that had been done that blood couldn't heal and v1....sort of having a split-second of hesitation. because. that must be a mechanic. and in some way, it misses them. but really, all they want is for v1 to survive - that's why they would always fix it, even now.

OUGH also when v1 absolutely freaks out earlier on in its relationship with gabriel - i feel like i mentioned this at some point, but i really like the idea of gabriel becoming seriously injured in a fight with some demons/machines when he's adjusting to his fallen status, and in a panic v1 performs a blood transfusion. but. every single thing in its code screams at it not to, it has to bypass about a dozen security measures and shut down a decent portion of its functioning to allow itself to do so. but once it does, it realizes how off-programming the behavior was, to the point where it's convinced if it goes any further the corruption to its software will be so complete it risks fatal errors and brain death. so it bolts the minute gabriel comes to and it actually takes him about a week to find it again, absolutely terrified himself the entire time as he's not ready to lose v1 BUT ALSO significantly pissed off lol he's ready to give it plenty of shit upon reuniting with it, but with some explanation (as he REFUSES to let it run again), he comes to understand how serious this is...and just what v1 did for him in spite of all of its programming to the contrary.

THEN i just have a lot silly or cute things, like how v1 greatly enjoys bath time much to gabriel's surprise and often asks for "a wash" even when perfectly clean. i also KNOW i said this before, but v1 loves generating liminal pool rooms and impossible "animals" in its mind - it can spend HOURS doing this, and get VERY invested in it, but it didn't want gabe to be lonely so it made a "chatbot" to interact with him while it does this (v1 likes to call its internal bots "worker vee-s") he found it pretty funny since it was terrible, and quickly retired. oh oh and i also really like v1 and fallen gabriel staying with the ferryman for a bit when they don't yet have a place to live...and i talked about how the ferryman struggles accepting gabriel again, but i like to think gabriel still sings. he and v1 will snuggle in by the fire and he'll sing, just as beautiful as he did in haven even if it's now in the infernal language...and the ferryman will linger outside their door, listening to him sounding just the way he always has (they can get overwhelmed by it sometimes, but it helps when v1 cuts in with a midi remix lol) and finally since i've. gone on long enough. i know a lot of ppl do bird-coded gabe (rightfully so!!) but to me he is. sheep-coded. man will eat flowers right out of a window-box and headbutt as a primary way of attack. thank you.

ive been deep into rottmnt fic for the last couple months. its not a super popular fandom for fic-related stuff so i wanted to give a shoutout to some of the fics ive read & enjoyed!

April burst out into uproarious laughter, her giggles so uncontrollable that the mutant that could only be Raphael had to ease up his grip on his sai. He just stared at her in confusion, as did the rest of his brothers, as April struggled to quiet her laughter.

“I’m – I’m sorry,” April said between giggles. It was so bad that her glasses started fogging up. “You’re just – really short.”

2012/2018 crossover i was following this fic back when it was still updating and when i got to the last two chapters there were times wher ei just. could not handle it. had to go take a lap around my house. it is THAT good.

I have to admit that I, too, think Raphael would be a little ... tense about the emotional parts. - Definitely trivialize them and attempt to hide them while making it all about deals and power play. It needs a courageous (and/or teasing) Tav/Durge to get some more telling reactions out of him. I would love to see a hint (or more than a hint) of jealousy from him. Of course, none of those mortals is a match for him, he doesn't care if you have another little romance going on. He says. 😁 It would be very neat to have a possessive love scene with Raphael right after things start to become more serious with one of the other companions. He won't demand you to break up with them of course, but claim you as his. And then let you keep "your toy". (For now.) At least that's something I could imagine very well in this regard. Hehe, I think most of them will tell you it's a risky game, some even strongly and vehemently disapprove (Wyll, Karlach). Astarion, I assume, will at least pretend not to mind at all and tell you to have fun. But he rarely admits to his true thoughts in those matters after all. Halsin probably would be the only companion actually and genuinely relaxed (or mostly) about the whole Raphael situation. (Aaa, don't worry at all! I love to talk about him and my headcanons, I can never shut up about him. 😂💗 We're at 170 signatures! 😌)

BG3 Act 2 rambling OC thoughts (not spoiler free)

Saedra: tiefling – scholar - warlock

A penniless orphan raised by monks of Ilmater in Baldur’s Gate, Saedra nevertheless has ambitions. Until the tadpole incident she was bartending to put herself through wizard school and struggling more than financially, because although she’s deeply driven, she’s overworked and under supported and just not making it through the academics.

Which is why she jumped at the offer of a pact* from a powerful satyr. It didn’t stop her from continuing her studies, but it did send her in a new and promising direction.

*I have a vague headcanon discussion with Astarion about the nature of devil pacts vs fae pacts: something about legalese being inscrutable and esoteric in its own way, but a fae pact is more like a poem – you never quite know what it means and it could and should mean something different for everyone. Hence even more dangerous.

The satyr, on whom her Guardian is modeled**, for now doesn’t seem to have an agenda beyond encouraging her sexual explorations. She’s cheerful and open about being pan and promiscuous, which is what attracted the satyr’s attention in the first place. Flouting her cleavage at the bar, smoldering looks while polishing glasses, calling everybody “love.” She fully embraces her hot, naughty tieflinghood as part of that fun oversexed persona. (btw when she killed Minthara she totally stole her sexy outfit.)

**her Guardian:

She genuinely likes people and is fiercely loyal to “her gang.” Who counts as “her gang” is a wider circle than some might approve of—at the start of the story she’s outgoing and generous with all sorts of people, especially the refugee tieflings, but that tendency is gradually giving way.

As a warlock she has a nascent cynicism – distrust of the fey, devils and the like***, that is growing as the story leads her to darker and darker places. Of the companions she’s most fascinated by Astarion and Lae’zel, maybe because they have the lowest approval, but also because she loves how tits out they both are about being nasty. It’s a behavior she’s starting to try on for size. I can hear her imitating Lae’zel’s “t’ch” and laughingly calling people “dahling,” half teasing and half adopting a new aspect to her own persona.

***really doesn’t trust Raphael, definitely not letting the pixie out of the lamp

Still, naïve as he rightfully believes her to be, Astarion likes how she has his back and Lae’zel likes how she galvanizes the group and brings them together into a more efficient fighting machine.

Her thoughts on the companions so far:

She thinks Lae’zel is hilarious and hot af. Ironically sees her as naïve in her own way. Dtf but I think Saedra got friendzoned when she started sleeping with Astarion because it’s been all business since then. Snif.

She feels sisterly toward Shadowheart – protective but oddly not sexually attracted. Admires her light/dark-sidedness, her kindness and her cruelty.

Wyll is hot but so very caught up in his hero persona. She wants to fuck him into a gibbering mess. That said, she danced with him and immediately drew a line in the sand when she saw where it was headed, because he started getting more than just bedroom eyes. Saedra does not want some lovesick folk hero pining over her or worse, making sacrifices for her, much as she’s attracted to him.

Similar with Karlach ohhhhh myyyy goddddd but don’t get sappy on me or it’s over.

Halsin (in Act 2, nothing happening yet?) is just a big, nice man she could get lost in. Maybe a little too much of a dad for her particular tastes.

She openly admires Gale’s magical talent and they vibe over being generally decent and liking cats, but she’s a little worried she’s too much for him. He seems fragile. (Oh after I wrote this I found out some things and boy was she wrong. And right. Hm.)

Her desire for power draws her to both Gale and Astarion, but her sexual proclivities lean her more toward Astarion. At the moment he's a casual hook up but also the more she hears, the more invested in his story she becomes.

More on Astarion (I’m in Act 2 so these are early/maturing impressions):

Saedra is very wary of the tadpole as well as the Guardian. She already has a pact with an unpredictable patron who may not have her best interests at heart, so she resists the temptation to use the illithid power or consume the worms, or take Raphael’s or Ethel’s deals either. What’s most interesting about Astarion is she suspects his desire for power is luring him into slavery – a cautionary tale for her as a warlock as well as with the illithid parasites. Totally fine if Astarion wants to try the forbidden fruit. She’ll watch what happens to him. Except—she’s starting to care what happens to him…

And here’s my genius barmaid in a drinking contest which she did eventually win thanks to her determination and a little sleight of hand, but not without getting totally wasted

My first impression: “oh look, new iteration of TMNT. Probably won't get too attached to it, but I'll still watch the film :) Raph looks cool.”

My impression now: ... Where do I even fucking start? This is, without a doubt, my favorite version of Raphael for SOOO many reasons. As much as I love (and I mean fucking love) joking about his anger issues and violence, the number 1 thing I love about Raph is how he canonically never uses violence against his brothers and instead chooses to channel all that anger into his enemies. It's subtle but you can just see how much Raph hates the thought of being a monster; his face dropping when his brother said “Sure he's a big angry monster but he saved the city" PAINS ME EVERYTIME... and the way he clearly wanted them to stop talking about it?? Another thing I really love about Raph specifically is the parallel him and Splinter's dynamic have with Bebop Rocksteady and Superfly's. Something something "This guys been making me angry my entire life! I think he's the reason we're so angry!" IT FUCKS ME UP EVERYTIME. EVERY GODDAMN TIME. AND THE WAY HE LOVES AND CARES FOR HIS BROTHERS HOLY SHIT!!!!!! HE LOVES THOSE GUYS SO MUCH AND EVEN TOOK A MOMENT TO SAY HE WAS GLAD THEIR FACES WERE THE LAST ONES HE'D GET TO SEE BEFORE HE DIED!!!!! RAPHAEL I LOVE YOU

Favorite thing about that character: HELP ME I ANSWERED THIS IN THE PREVIOUS THING AHAGAH

Least favorite thing: “Hey Leo, how does it feel to have your head so far up dad's butt?”

Favorite line/scene: “I dream about fighting every night! (You have a rage problem, Raph) ITS NOT A PROBLEM!!!!” AND THEN PROCEEDS TO FALL ON HIS ASS. I have so many scenes of his I love how do you expect me to choose only one????? I'm just listing this off because that was the only food I had for months while waiting for the movie to come out.

Favorite interaction that character has with another: I'mmm insanely bias towards Leo and Raph interactions. “What the heck man? I said go left!" "I GOT HIM 😡😡😡" and also when Raph said "Wait April are you puke girl? 😆😲" And Leo's ass was fucking growling at him basically saying don't talk to my girl that way, despite the fact he made fun of her first. what is wrong with these boys. The twins ever.... To me.

A character I wish that character would interact with more: I would love 1929299 interactions of Raph with all of his brothers that would be very nice. Aside from his brothers, I think him and April's duo would be hilarious.

Another character from another fandom that reminds me of them: SUSIE DELTARUNE.

A headcanon about that character: He was called Raphie when he was younger by his family until he grew out of that name. They still sometimes call him Raphie just to make him mad and/or tease him.

A song that reminds me of that character: Imma Kill You

An unpopular opinion about this character: Shrugs.

BG1 Act 1 ask game thing! Viridian: 39, 32, 26, 2!

2. Was there something about the character creator that just couldn't capture your Character?

The one thing I could not get for bg3! Viridian was her acne In other universes/games I have been able to (eg: in her canon world state of cp2077 (top left image) - or in her sims 4 AU (which is mostly for my matrix AU stuff rn (top right image) ) - BUT !!!! I am greatful that I have been able to get Her skin looking textured in other ways (eg with scars and vitiligo!!) - it runs similarly to her look in my dragon age AU - (bottom left image)

26. What was your favorite enemy? Did your Character have any memorable fights or moments in combat that were ripe for headcanons and interpretation? (26)

Personally my favorite enemy was Dror Ragzlin-!!! Out of the three goblin bosses I found him and his band of goblin followers really fun to fight. (maybe its because i love hobgoblins eheheh!!) BUT ANYWAY!!! I feel like Viridian would have struggled to fight Dror- I headcanon that he went straight for her- knocking her down almost instantly (because welp- that did happen when I was playing lololol) - But I feel my girlie would have dragged herself tooth and nail to defeat him- calling upon her patron for anything to help her through that moment !

32. What's your Character's experience with and opinion of Volo?

Viridian first encountered volo at the emerald grove and appreciated his energy and vibes!!! She and her party rescued him from the goblin camp - Volo becomes a part of Viridian’s camp party and listens enthusiasticly to his bardic tales !!!

39. What does your Character think of Raphael?

Viridian... really dislikes Raphael- she dose not trust the man one bit. The energy Raphael gives off reminds her of her high fey patron - and that energy isn't great... she can feel Raphael is hiding something- but she can't pin point what it is

Vladimir :

She hesitated for a long time before telling Vladimir. She was particularly worried about being rejected by the aristocrat, who had been looking out for her ever since she arrived in the manor. After all, it was he and Aaron who had been the most vocal in defending her right to stay safely with them, and the other members tended to give in to Vladimir and Aaron's views. What's more, Irina really doesn't see how she can survive out there on her own when she's still struggling to control her bloodlust.

When she first told him about it, after several months in the manor, Vladimir immediately blamed himself. Vladimir immediately blamed himself; he had not thought that the young woman might be suspicious of his reaction because of his attachment to old customs. Of course, Vladimir loves the century in which he was born, but above all he wants people to feel good about him, even if it's not always obvious how unpleasant he can be at times. He's spent a lot of time reassuring Irina that, as long as he's alive, no-one will be able to force her to leave the manor, and he's also asked her a lot of questions to try and understand her better. He's not sure he's understood everything, but he knows he'll do everything he can to make her feel at ease with them.

He's very careful not misgender Irina down when they're alone, it's something he feels very strongly about, and as long as Irina hasn't told anyone, he's careful not to let her outing.

He argued with Ethan when Irina came out to him, to make sure the doctor didn't bother his protégée, and since he had Aaron's support, it worked out pretty well. Even if he has to call him to order regularly at first.

Vladimir's leaving Irina a lot of money so that she can redo her wardrobe to her liking, and although he's not sure that Beliath is the best dress advisor (have you seen those clothes?) nothing could be worse than Aaron's taste in clothes.

If Irina wants to make a medical transition, he is ready to support her. He'll give the money so she can get hormones or have an operation. The only thing he wants is for Irina to be happy.

Beliath :

Irina didn't say anything immediately. When she arrived at the manor, she introduced herself as Ivan and under male pronouns. After all, vampires are old, Raphael and Vladimir talk like grandfathers, Ethan is aggressive and Aaron is fundamentally lacking in tact. It clearly didn't seem like a favourable context for a coming-out, even less so when you're a young vampire who's likely to attack any humans she comes across.

She dared to talk to Beliath about it first. It has to be said that when she arrived, she shared the same room as the incubus. And despite a slightly complicated first few days, Beliath is very talkative and relatively curious, they got on quite well. Beliath didn't seem to be as strict about gender as humans and when he saw that she was interested in his wardrobe he started lending her his most feminine clothes, make-up, and its body and face creams. He was even rather pleased to see that someone was finally taking a little more interest in modern clothing in this manor house. Seriously, Vladimir and Raphaël love fashion, but only the fashions of their time. It's no fun talking to them!

So Irina wasn't too afraid to tell him and Beliath took it very well. He reassured her about the others' reactions and began to use her pronouns and first name when it was just the two of them. He is careful not to get her first name and pronouns wrong until she has coming-out to the other members of the manor.

Béliath also offered to accompany her to the beautician. He goes there often, so he knows the salons that are safe and where no one is likely to make unpleasant comments.

If ever Irina needs help, Béliath can teach her how to apply make-up. He wears make-up quite regularly and is perfectly capable of helping Irina learn how to apply it or giving her tips. After all, he sometimes does Raphaël's make-up.

Despite Vladimir's criticisms, he has good taste in clothes, it's just that he prefers to choose other people's clothes rather than his own. So he'll be very happy to accompany Irina shopping.

He doesn't really know how to help Irina if she's experiencing dysphoria, as it's not something he's ever had to deal with. However, if she is, he asks around to help Irina find solutions, so he ends up finding or buying external breast prostheses.

Beliath gave her a lot of encouragement to dress as she liked at the first party she attended at the manor house. He makes sure that everything goes smoothly for her with the guests and he's quite happy to see that Irina seems to be really enjoying herself.

Aaron :

She was also very reluctant to tell Aaron, but did so soon after talking to Vladimir. She had been feeling very anxious before the discussion, imagining disaster scenarios despite the reassuring words of Vladimir and Beliath. It was Aaron who turned her into a vampire after all, Aaron who accompanies her hunting, Aaron who reassures her about her vampire abilities and who, along with Vladimir, insisted that she stay at the manor with them. He's a pillar of her life at the manor and she doesn't really know how she could survive without his support.

Aaron quickly understood the young vampire's fears and reassured her. For a start, no one was going to ask her to leave, it was out of the question, the only person who could make the decision to leave the manor was herself. And secondly, he hadn't turned her into a vampire just to abandon her in the wild, especially when she still needed the help of other vampires to adapt to her new lifestyle and master her vampire abilities.

He often gets pronouns and first names wrong at first, out of habit, but he apologises and makes up for it immediately. After a while, he doesn't make the mistake at all. He's also offered to stay with her when she coming out to Ethan if she's worried about the older boy's reaction. Aaron doesn't think Ethan will be a problem, but he knows that the doctor's bad temper can be quite intimidating for those who aren't used to it.

He continues to behave in the same way as before with her. So he continues to train him in combat, Irina must be able to defend herself if she is attacked by another vampire or at least know how to fight back well enough to get to the safety of the manor house after. He also continues to accompany her hunting.

If Irina wants to begin a medical transition, Aaron is the safest person to accompany her. Firstly, because he's the safest person to help her deal with her human thirst for blood, but also because he impresses everyone with his stature. Nobody wants to hurt or be unkind to someone whose protector is a man who looks as strong as a bear.

Raphael :

Irina told Raphaël before telling Vladimir and Aaron. It has to be said that her kindness and calm are quite reassuring and it seemed like good practice before she coming-out to the other two, who are a little more intimidating. Raphaël was pleased that Irina had trusted him enough to talk to him about something so important to her. He's always thought that being calm and gentle with people could only make social relationships easier.

He listened to Irina without interrupting her before asking her questions to try and understand her better. He also reassured her about the others' reactions, especially Ethan's. Even though he doesn't look it with his bad temper, Ethan is actually very nice, when he's willing to show it.

Raphaël sometimes gets his first name and pronoun wrong at first, but he soon makes up for it and after a while he doesn't get it wrong at all. He's also very careful not to outing Irina unintentionally when Ethan's in the room with them. He concentrates on this a lot because he knows he's a bit of a absent-minded and he doesn't want to put Irina in a difficult position until she's told Ethan herself.

He was one of the first to suggest that Irina should use the bathroom in the pink room for herself rather than the one upstairs with them. After all, he finds it normal that Irina doesn't particularly want to share her bathroom with men, even more so when one of the three bathrooms isn't being used at all and she can take it to herself.

He is one of the most reassuring about her looks. Raphaël often assures her that he's sure she's a very beautiful woman and that he won't let anyone say otherwise. Along with Beliath, he is also the one who is most attentive to Irina's problems, whether it's simply listening to her talk about them or trying to find solutions to the problems she encounters with her.

Ethan :

It took Irina a long time to decide to tell Ethan. What pushed her to do so was the fact that everyone apart from the doctor knew about it, and the young woman was beginning to fear that one of her housemates was going to outing her to the doctor without meaning to, after all Aaron talks before he thinks and Raphaël is very absent-minded.

The discussion wasn't as complicated as Irina had feared; on the contrary, it went rather well. Ethan was as unpleasant and bad-tempered as ever, but he wasn't insulting or aggressive. Which, considering Ethan's character, can be seen as a victory, and Irina decided to consider it as such, especially as from that moment on, with his transidentity no longer a secret, everyone could stop using her deadname.

He's very quick to nickname Irina, Nana. He tries to make the others think it's just because it's shorter to pronounce, but it's only because he really likes giving nicknames to people he likes.

Ethan tries to pretend he doesn't care about Irina, but he's actually quite knowledgeable about the problems she might face. He quickly learned what dysphoria was, even more so if Irina suffers from dysphoria, and he tried to find solutions with her to help.

If Irina wants to start a medical transition, he's also finding out a lot about the subject. Whether it's about operations or hormones. He doesn't wish Irina to run any risks, even if he never makes that clear. So he can advise her on which hormones are the least risky, and he has researched the CVs of all the surgeons in the area. After all, he is the manor doctor. And like Aaron, he's prepared to accompany Irina to hospital if she agrees.
