Okay, I will finally write out my thoughts on ✨Hamilton✨.

IT WAS FUCKING INCREDIBLE!!!

I think I actually saw a lot of the cast members going in the stage door, because I was ridiculously early and just hanging around outside. The cast I saw at the Victoria Palace Theatre on Friday night were a lot of understudies, but they were amazing.

The acting

Alex Sawyer as Hamilton had so much swagger compared to Lin-Manuel Miranda’s version (sorry Lin…). He expressed Hamilton’s ambition and cockiness perfectly, getting us to laugh at that, and he also managed the emotional moments.

Jake Halsey-Jones as Philip was hilarious, for example he made a big show of crouching to hug the adults, and he Naruto ran up the stairs

Ashley J Daniels as Thomas Jefferson really engaged and hyped up the audience, for example he got us to clap along.

Joel Montague as King George was also very funny, he held the end note of one of his songs while he pointed his staff all the way around the audience.

Not to be negative, but I didn’t find Shan Ako’s Eliza quite as well-acted. Neither her scream when Philip died nor her gasp at the end had much emotional impact for me.

The singing and rapping

Maya Britto as Angelica was an absolute powerhouse in Satisfied, and exuded that “take no shit” vibe in The Schuyler Sisters and The Reynolds Pamphlet.

Emile Ruddock as Hercules Mulligan knocked it out of the park with his raps, he somehow managed to put so much impact behind every word.

Roshani Abbey opened her mouth as Mariah Reynolds and blew me away, her voice was so rich and seductive.

The choreography

The battle sequences were masterfully done. How is it possible to give something so tragic such beauty?

The reversal of the choreography from Helpless during Satisfied was literally astonishing to witness live.

The duels were very impactful, with the ensemble member holding the bullet and being carried in slow motion towards the victim.

The big numbers where everyone on stage was dancing together made my silly neurodivergent brain tingle!

The staging, lighting, and props

I loved the lighting as if there was an open door lit from within when Hamilton asked Simon-Anthony Rhodes’ Burr to help write essays in Non-Stop.

The use of the balcony was really clever, providing dimension to the set and giving emphasis to the background action.

The dual turntable, oh my god! There was one moment when Hamilton was inside the outer circle, while Angelica and Eliza stood still on it as it turned, and the circle stopped moving them at exactly the right two moments for them to talk with Hamilton. (Also props to the actors, especially the ensemble, for staying balanced while they moved and danced on the turntable in action!)

The use of unnatural lighting colours at key moments, like purple and red, really juxtaposed with the browns of the set and got me to take notice of it.

I genuinely gasped when they brought out an extra staircase on wheels to go in the centre just before the interval. I wasn’t expecting it (despite having seen the Disney+ film), so it thrilled me.

I loved how Shan Ako as Eliza actually set the letters on fire in Burn! As there was minimal action on the rest of the stage, it really brought the focus to her. Oh my god and I’ve just realised that the smoke blurring our view could have been the same way her tears blurred hers.

Shoutout to Manaia Glassey-Ohlson as Washington and Simon-Anthony Rhodes as Burr as well! While nothing specific about their performances stood out to me, they were both still incredible in their roles.

One thing that did confuse me though - there was barely any clapping at the end? They did one curtain call and we gave them a standing ovation, but that was all?? The lights came on and the audience up and left after that. Like come on, at least a couple more bows! Honestly, the performance deserved more than that!

Overall, I just want to watch it again! There was so much going on, meaning I know I missed a lot of it, and it’s the kind of show which you could keep discovering more about. Don’t be a cynic, in this case the hype is well deserved!

Captain Mactavish who is a nasty nasty man and has the biggest hots for Laswell's new and promising hacker, you. The cute soft thing dressed in soft pastel blouses and dresses has no place on a military base with dirty, rugged and rough military men who are twice her size, or at least that's what John thinks.

When he looks at you he can't help but fantasize of taking you away from here and back to Scotland. Stuff you away into a quiant little cottage where you'd become his cute little wife, greeting him with a smile and a hot, nutricious homecooked meal, then help him relax by giving him a blowjob. Yeah, Soap would treat you like a queen, his missus and mama of his kids :(

The thing is that there is a major pain in his ass, a thorn in his side you'd say and that thorn so happens to be blonde, obnoxious and american; Philip fucking Graves. Another tech-genius and the commander of Shadow Company, a PMC group that's supposed to aid them but the only thing their esteemed commander seems to be doing is showing off and trying to get in your pants >:( No! And the worst part? You seem to be actually impressed, smiling brightly up at Graves, laughing quietly at his obnoxious jokes and 'southern charm'. He's always praising you for a good job, which, admittedly, you're doing incredibly well.

Johnny knows that he needs to make his move quick but isn't all too worried; he's a captain, he's older, more experienced and incredibly well known in the military. He's big and strong and very virile so it should be basically instinct for you to choose him as the strongest male around >:(

Okay Caleb's and Evelyn's son is sooooo cute. Especially when Evelyn suggests that he should do his uncle's hair and Philip is just like "What?!", but in the end probably just rolls with it. That will most likely the worsr hair style he ever had, but hey Caleb gets his me time.

Anyone who has a toddler in their life knows that you don't really laugh at whomever is put at the mercy of a child's creativity. ESPECIALLY PARENTS, if you want this person to show up again and babysit so you can just, like... stand in a corner and empty your head with silence for a bit.. You don't poke fun at your substitute, lol.

Also, it's genuinely heart-warming to see somebody participate in your kid's playtime and development. Especially awkward and kind-of stoic people that struggle with being social. Yet, allows children to climb all over them.

Also....

I love that Philip looks like an archaeologist and Caleb looks like a pirate. The duality of the Wittebane brothers.

This is my personal AU, I don't think anyone has written on little Ghostie before I did. Not to say that there aren't any works on Dad!Ghost and his kids however Ghostie is a character of mine who holds such a special place in my heart, especially after I started writing more about her and how she acts around everyone.

Possible ships: Farah x Alex (Faralex)?? Alejandro x Rudy (Alerudy)?? Price x Nikolai (Nikprice)??

I know Halloween season is over but y'all can't do anything about this, it's been cooking in my brain for a while now. (Some of these are just regular scenarios though) Ghostie is back y'all!!!

❥ Ghostie who simultaneously made her way into convincing the Taskforce to go with her trick or treating, having her little army uniform that was commissioned for her, a bit visible underneath her pink puffy jacket. Yeah I don't think she's going to stop wearing it unless she's outgrown it, in which case, that would just break her big heart :((

❥ Simon holding little Ghostie's hand while she toddles, she would NOT go anywhere without either her dad's, her mum's or her uncle Gaz's hand. Having her tiny chubby fingers gripping onto two of her dad's fingers as he guides her up big steps. Catching her when she accidentally slips on the slippery steps.

❥ The rest of the Taskforce being behind her like a bunch of guard dogs, ain't nobody is gonna try and scare her because of the big burly men next to her. Photo was provided by my favorite artist last Halloween, @puff0o0:

❥ Ghostie having the sweetest voice ever, she so polite, so much so that she makes the her dad and uncles chuckle at her. (This is how I imagined her voice to sound like)

"Say trick or treat.." Gaz whispers, coaching her from behind as someone from the house opens the door. Two women in costumes, holding a big candy bowl.

"trwick or trweat.." Little Ghostie mumbles, far too shy and almost hiding behind her uncle.

"What a cute costume you have there, here, take these ones" one of the women said, adding the candy to Ghostie's little basket.

"Thank you!" Ghostie exclaims, making the two girls awe at her politeness and eagerness.

❥ Yeah Ghostie definitely pronounces Halloween as "Ha-Hoween".

❥ I can't help but think that they came across that one house with a sign that said "leave your single dad's number if he's attractive" and as a joke, uncle Gaz threw in a piece of paper with peepaw Price's number on it, only to have peepaw Nikolai fish it out of the candy bowl when he thought no one could see him.. but Ghostie did.

Not Halloween related:

❥ Safe to say that when uncle Gaz doesn't like someone, neither does Ghostie, if you all can recall that cutscene from mw3, Gaz did NOT even bother to acknowledge Philip's existence. That being said, Ghostie gives the nastiest side-eyes to him the moment he even opens his mouth. (Yeah she got from her dad)

❥ Ghostie absolutely loves getting head pats and giving them, to her, it's one of the best forms of praise. Anyone gives her head pats gets to witness her absolutely adorable reaction, the way her eyes light up, those little lips curling into a smile causing her chubby cheeks to be prominent and her eyes squinting. Mostly loves doing it to uncle Soap, because the mohawk is fluffy.

❥ Maybe at some point, when Philip decides to behave then he can earn the head pats from Ghostie.

❥ Meals with the Taskforce and Ghostie are a certified hit, she has quite the appetite and she shows it. Simon takes it upon himself to always does what his wife does at home when he's out with Ghostie, bringing her silicone bib and baby utensils. (Even the bulky ass highchair attachment that he keeps in that back of his car/truck)

"More please..." Ghostie says, making grabby hands, in the middle of chewing after observing that her plate is yet again empty.

Price chuckles, looking at Simon who was now careful about the amount of food to add on Ghostie's plate because the toddler is on her third round of food.

❥ Ghostie enjoys clapping her hands and anything as well, especially after eating and being satisfied.

❥ Ghostie is into tea, her dad got her hooked on it.

"Aye, what about you Ghostie? What'd you like?" Soap asks the little one who's currently keeping herself busy with her custom coloring book.

"Tea!" She says, looking up for a bit to Soap before focusing back on her coloring.

"You heard her Johnny, make that two.." Simon says with a pretty firm pat on the back for Soap.

"Fuckin' Brits..."

❥ Auntie Farah and uncle Alex are the babysitters when uncle Gaz, uncle Soap and peepaw Price ain't around. Farah loves that kid to death, if she was being honest, she saw a lot of resemblance between Simon and Ghostie. Of course there are looks were, she's basically a carbon copy of him but also mannerisms;

❥ Ghostie who copies her dad, being adamant about being cleanly and tidy, oftentimes catching people surprised that she tidies up after herself immediately after playing before moving onto another set of toys, coloring books and coloring materials. She notices and mirrors how Simon is consistent in keeping things tidy and out the way.

❥ Whenever Ghostie is at home with her momma (you) and Simon had to run errands, she always wakes up first, seeing how her dad gets up early too.

Ghostie rises up with a soft yawn, rubbing her tiny eyes with her hands, she looked around at the still dimly lit room. She turned her head from side to side looking for her dad.

She was met by him standing and dressing himself up in a black hoodie to go out and buy something. She gives him that cheek to cheek smile before leaning her cheek and closing her eyes, mandatory kiss from dad before he left.

"Alright pumpkin, dada's leaving now. I'll be back later, be good and don't give momma a hard time.." Simon reminded her after giving her cheek a kiss.

"Okay dada- promise.." Ghostie yawns mid sentence.

❥ Ghostie who, ever since she way younger, loved to cup her dad's face and nuzzle her nose into his. A tradition that Simon doesn't know if he's ready to see it go when she grows up. Neither is he ready for her to start correcting the words she's been pronouncing wrong;

❥ Dad!Simon whose heart broke once he realizes that the "I love you"s will slowly start to be less and less when she becomes a teen, he's silently wishing to himself that it won't be reduced to not being said at all. You had to reassure him that it won't happen, not when Ghostie's the sweetest little girl anyone could ask for and Simon is the best dad anyone could as for.

❥ Uncle Alejandro and uncle Rudy being the seasoned uncles who happened to be absolutely adored by Ghostie, not as much as uncle Gaz but let's be real here, no one is on uncle Gaz's level.

❥ Uncle Alejandro and uncle Soap having bets and arguments on who gets to reach their language to Ghostie while she just sits there on uncle Rudy's lap, sipping on her apple juice, quite entertained.

❥ YOU CANNOT TELL ME THAT RUDY ISN'T RESPONSIBLE FOR GETTING HER TO SLEEP OR NAP, that man is a walking heater. I can just see him standing there while holding her in his arms while she's trying her hardest not to fall asleep, yawning "Uncle Rudy.." before immediately snoring, snuggling her face into his soft blue hoodie shirt. (@icarustypicalfall is living for this, I just know it)

❥ Alejandro who gets smacked in the back of the head by (his husband) Rudy for being too loud and almost waking Ghostie up. (Alerudy when? This is a joke to y'all Alerudy haters, I like the ship, it's cute. Not sure if it's canon here in my AU, up to you guys to decide)

❥ Laswell and her wife absolutely fucking adore Ghostie, shit she makes them want to have kids, she has almost the same effect on almost everyone. Silently making her uncle Gaz wish that he isn't single.

❥ Let's be real here, peepaw Nikolai was the one who Ghostie jammed with while listening to heavy metal. He also got her this mini leather jacket that matched his, with her nationality country/countries flag/s embroidered patch on the side. I can just imagine her little head bangs that peepaw nik taught her 🥺😭.

❥ Also Ghostie has access to almost everyone's prized stuff, uncle Gaz's and peepaw Price's hats, uncle Soap's medals and even peepaw Nik's jacket which looks like she's swimming in it when she's wearing it.

❥ This pic is so Dad!Simon and Ghostie coded:

❥ Something tells me that Simon would send you this pic and you'd probably have a heart attack, your husband isn't the best driver after all but you trust him since he won't put your daughter in imminent danger.

❥ I think most of the time, Ghostie is in her uncle Gaz's arms and/or lap while he sits on the passenger seat, doesn't really matter who's driving.

Sidenote: Is it normal to be so excited over something you bought? I literally bought my first ever concealer today, a mascara that I've been looking for and lip oil. I was so excited that I squealed when I got home and immediately used them. Any makeup tips that you guys have? Sort of a beginner at this stuff.. Also does anyone whose had viral posts ever feel like their popular strike is over because none of their works get as much attention? Looking at all my recent posts and hyperventilating because the numbers are lower by so much.

Epiphany: King and Luz are how fanon imagines Philip and Caleb

King is clingy, and has major separation anxiety. He insists he’ll never let Luz leave him, gets anxious and upset when she does anything without him. He wants nothing more than to have her stay with him forever at all times, having assurance and full control over it. He even specifically was afraid Luz would leave him for another realm. He wasn’t just orphaned, but he lost his entire species before he was born. Luz and Eda are the only family he has.

He’s a scared little kid who just wants a family who stays with him. That’s almost exactly how I see Belos stans portray young Philip. And maybe that is indeed how Philip acted when he was King’s age.

Though, crucially, King doesn’t target Luz’s other loved ones and then kill her, only to clone her tons of times and abuse those child clones before murdering them. Because King isn’t a pathetic weirdo bitch.

King grows up. Which, he shouldn’t have had to mature so fast, because unlike Belos, he really IS just a little boy during all this. When his entire world gets shattered, TWICE, he has every reason to think only of himself and cling desperately to everything.

When he learns his entire species was killed, that he’s alone in the universe, it’s even clearer that Luz and Eda are all he has. But he chooses to open up his world and see things more widely, to pay attention and have a deeper understanding of his loved ones.

He becomes more aware of other people and their own lives, his worldview expanded outside himself. He uses that knowledge to reach out to others, like having empathy for the Collector, not condemning him. He tries to help Collie with the lessons he only learned recently.

In the end, King himself sends Luz away to another realm to protect her. All that time swearing he would never let her leave him, but he loves her more than that. He expresses his joy over her having her as a big sister, and he saves her. Because he truly loves her.

King is a CHILD. He couldn’t be faulted for acting more selfishly. It would have been reasonable of him to cling and beg Luz to protect him during King’s Tide, but he was a hero.

Belos never understood actual love like this. Caleb gave it to him, but he didn’t return it. It further emphasizes what a fucked up weirdo Philip is. He hasn’t been a child in hundreds of years. He was an adult who couldn’t learn to think beyond himself and the idealized fantasy narrative of his brother existing for him.

He thinks that any attempts for Caleb to have his own life are an insult to him, that the entire world starts and ends with Philip and his own desires. Hundreds of years and he never learned to see beyond that. He doesn’t feel joy that Caleb was his big brother. Only that he has a right to control and possess, and he will do anything to make it happen. Murder, abuse, enacting sick, petty fantasies.

He even disguises himself as a little kid and clings to Luz, hiding behind and clinging to her, tricking her into caring for him, in Hollow Mind.

Two clingy, anxious, possessive little brothers terrified to be abandoned when the world already took what should have been their family from them. One who matured greatly at only eight years old, and sacrificed everything to protect his older sibling.

And one who maintained a petty, selfish obsession for hundreds of years, colonizing a world and trying to commit genocide, while playing out a sick power fantasy of caretaking and control while screaming about what was taken from him, which was his own doing

Istg, if King wasn’t placed into the “animal companion” category as default, the fandom would have been all over the parallels. I would say “Hey Belos stans! Your cute, sweet, angsty,clingy younger sibling with abandonment issues is right here in King! Make stuff with Titanlights!” but they’d probably hear that and miss the whole damn point.

Since we’ve seeen the clear up images of Hollow Mind, what’s your favorite? For me it’s the one where we see Caleb going the Demon Relm under the same arch from Thanks to Them. I love how see the smile on his face. Like let’s see go pretty girl with magic offers you journey away from the crapshoot that is early America can we really blame him 😉

That one with the silhouettes and the arch is is so good and gives important context to what happened with Philip actually seeing his brother go, but the kid portraits are just to cute, I love them soo much! And Philip's little rope trap is so much stupider then i thought it was, I figured he did the thing where it went around a tree branch so he could jump down from the ledge and use the leverage to catch the "witch", but no he just gonna pull and it will do nothing.

Dan Heng: what you watch: the Little Mermaid Dan Heng isn’t much of a moviegoer in the first place, but you’re still shocked to hear he’s Never seen a Disney movie. That’s OBVIOUSLY gotta change. So you choose a classic, turn it on, and keep an eye on him throughout the film, making Sure he’s actually watching and paying attention. You see why he’s not much of a moviegoer. He’s just not that in to movies. He’s more interested in his phone than the film but eventually you tell him to leave it alone and watch the movie and he actually has a fun time. He liked it! But he doesn’t really…express that. He’s just: “that was fine.” and then moves on with his day. But you hear him humming a few of the songs to himself later on… Let’s just say he wouldn’t object if you want to watch another one sometime.

Gepard Landau: what you watch: Sleeping Beauty He’s watched a few of the classics as a kid, so while he’s a bit surprised you’d choose a kids movie for your movie night, he also recalls liking them so hey! Maybe it’s just as good as he remembers. You make lots of comments about how he’s like Prince Philip, and he must admit he finds it very flattering to hear you say such things. You see him as your knight in shining armor?! That…means a lot to him. He tries. He has fun watching with you, even if you’re a bit of a chatterbox during it. He’s definitely down to watch another one with you, on the condition he gets to pick the next one. (He really wants to watch Mulan.)

Jing Yuan: what you watch: The Lion King (He definitely misses his lion after this one.) He’s just happy to spend time with you, he’s never really cared what movie you pick. He’s probably gonna just talk with you the whole time anyways. But to your surprise, his eyes light up when you mention this one and he’s all: “ah yes, I remember when this one released. I am quite fond of it.” Which is great news for you because that means he’s going to Actually watch the movie with you instead of talking the whole time! He has a great time. He even surprises you by knowing a few of the songs. I don’t know, you thought he was a little…old for Disney movies, but you’re just happy he enjoys himself. You even get to learn about his old lion after the movie. He feels a little…nostalgic.

Welt Yang: what you watch: Fantasia It’s the perfect Disney movie for an animation fan like him, and oh my gosh does he have a Lot to say about animation and the process that went in to making the movie and- It’s cute to see him so passionate about something. He hopes he’s not ruining your experience by talking too much, but he’s excited to be sharing something he’s so enthusiastic about with you. He knows a lot too. It’s actually pretty interesting to hear what he has to say, it honestly makes the movie a lot more entertaining. Afterwards you thank him for sharing all his knowledge with you, and he’s already planning your next movie date. Yes he’s very impressed with Disney, but he’s even more excited to share with you what he knows about some of the less famous animation companies. Maybe you watch movies he’s worked on, too.

Sampo Koski: what you watch: Alice in Wonderland. (Imagine Sampo selling bootleg Disney movies hahahaha.) It’s hard to explain, but Alice in Wonderland just…reminds you of him. He’s the kind who has a hard time sitting still, even if it’s to relax and watch a movie with someone he loves, but he does his best for you. He…doesn’t pay attention the entire time, but meh, he’s trying. He also talks during the movie, but in a much more annoying way than the other men. He just has dumb questions because he wasn’t paying attention, or he talks about something completely unrelated. You love him but gosh is this scoundrel hard to watch movies with.

Blade: what you watch: Beauty and the Beast He thinks you’re trying to say something to him when you insist you watch this movie in particular with him. He gets it. You’re a beauty, he’s a beast. But he eventually realizes you didn’t mean anything by it when you actually start watching with him. Turns out you just wanted to snuggle and watch a cute movie with him. He’s not really one to watch movies. He only watches with you. And you always choose something cute, like Disney. He’s becoming quite familiar with the classics, thanks to you. You’ll probably never learn if he’s actually a fan of the movies you make him watch, but at least he’s quiet and pays attention.

Random list of rwrb headcanons that nobody asked for but I'm posting anyway

- Alex is a complete mama's boy but Henry is closer to Oscar and it's well into Ellen's second term when he stops feeling slightly intimidated by her ("she's not just your mother, Alex, she's the president of the United States!")

- Henry becomes an honorary member of Los bastardos, even though his Spanish is nowhere near good enough to be able to follow their conversations when they get going. He starts learning on the sly and one day at Oscar's lake house surprises them by just casually switching to Spanish mid conversation. Alex is gobsmacked, Oscar is delighted, Rafa just laughs and carries on with the conversation.

- Alex turns his loud, brash, rude American side and his texan accent up to 100 whenever he's around Philip for more than 5 minutes, just to get a rise out of him. It works every time.

- When Philip and Martha have kids, they come visit Alex and Henry in Texas once. They only stay for a few days but by the end uncle Alex has them saying y'all in a texan accent and nagging their parents for a puppy because David is so cute.

- Alex gets Miguel banned from all things white house press and convinces Catherine to do the same for Buckingham Palace even though the chances of him even trying to report on that are pretty much 0.

- They're both really careful about what they post online and who gets to see it, but one time Alex forgot to check the settings and accidentally posted a selfie of the two of them lounging in bed on a lazy Sunday morning on his public stories and of course it went viral. And even though it wasn't anywhere near nsfw, Henry was mortified, Zahra's ulcer got a second ulcer, and Alex decided to turn it into a #thing and get people to post pictures of them chilling in bed with their partners. Nora posts a picture of her, June, and Pez together and suddenly the headlines aren't about Alex and Henry anymore.

- At Shaan and Zahra's wedding Alex isn't allowed to so much as breathe in the near vicinity of the cake, and she instructs Henry to make sure he's on the opposite side of the room at all times. "But Henry shoved me!" "I did not darling and you know it."

- Whenever one of them gets up before the other, David jumps onto the bed and takes their spot and refuses to move unless bribed with treats (Henry) or grabbing him and moving him (Alex - and then lets him back on the bed as soon as he's settled under the covers again).

- After Henry abdicates, the first thing Alex does when it's all official is register him to vote in both countries (after checking with Catherine to make sure he's allowed now).

- the Instagram account for David is Alex's idea, Henry thinks it's ridiculous and that nobody is going to want to follow it. But Alex proves him wrong when he sets it up and posts the first picture and the likes and comments blow up his phone. It takes a little more time for Henry to get on board but when he does, he updates David's account more than his own.

hello!! out of curiousity, do u have any voice headcanons for the nextgen kids?

OKAY SO last time this question was asked I didn’t have answers but now I have a few!!! It’s been a bit of a struggle to find voices for some of my guys but I do have ideas on their voice profiles so I’m open to suggestions on who would be good…

Azura- I’ve really fallen in love with the concept of AJ Michalka (Stevonnie, Catra spop) being her voice- I think Azura would have a scrappy cute voice that’s still unique to her that fits in with her family, and it would be very cute to have a VA who’s iconic for voicing queer cartoon characters be the voice for the kid of two of the biggest history makers in Disney…. Shes so cute

Bronwyn- Bronwyn at her core is a musician and her struggles with anxiety and panic disorders are a huge part of her character- I feel like her voice would be that of someone who could connect with her and play a soft voiced “mature” girl with a passion for singing and songwriting, so I settled on her being voiced by Mitski, the singer we all know and love. I think she would be able to bring a lot of life to her.

Juno- Juno being a trans girl is very important to her character and I would want a transfem to voice her, but when there’s transfem characters in media they’re almost always portrayed with higher “passable” voices from what I’ve seen. I want her voice to be a little deeper to represent girls who have those voices, and I think her sense of style and humor would come through well with iamblizzymcguire/blizzabella, A transfem nyc based comedian and model who I love. She’s so unique and sillay and I adore her

Now!!! Voice profiles for the guys I don’t have specific ideas for!

Hyacinth- at first I thought of him being voiced by Alex Lawther who plays younger Philip in canon, but he’s 1) British and 2) his voice is a bit more mature than I would like. Part of Hyacinth and how he differs from Philip is that he’s a lot smaller, and while I wanna have a voice for him that’s still in that “tenor range head voice that’s very in the nose and has a soft cadence,” I don’t think Lawther could do that. I would want someone similar and who isn’t British so I could imagine it better…

Mittens- I think mittens would have a tiny voice that’s also more masc, not so much scratchy and raspy but like. Little guy. Y feel me

Calcifer- honestly I’m not sure how to describe what I hear for them- they give me a vibe of a very cute and polite little kid who’s able to get Sillay???? They’re excitable and they tend to infodump………

Bramble- at first I thought I had a voice for him- that voice being Andrew Kishino who voices the character his design is based off of (Kevin from Steven universe) but Kish’s voice is way too mature for an angsty 14 year old trans boy. I do want his voice to be on the deeper and softer side with a good amount of sass though.

Briar- I don’t really know what to do for her since she’s still kinda new ….
