Today marks 1 year since I posted on this account. I am extremely happy that I have gathered so many followers, that there are so many people interested in what I post.

I want to thank you very much for all the messages of encouragement, all the questions you asked me and all the nice comments. It has always been a great pleasure to talk to you.

The thought that someone somewhere is reading from their phone or this post or in general that you are reading my posts from this account is wow for me.

So...as of right now, I have been on this hellsite for a full year 🙈

I wanted to thank you all very much for making this a place where I feel safe and liked 💖

Its been a year since I became active on tumblr. I wanna thank all of my moots so SO much because you have genuinely made my life so much better and have changed it so much. I'd like to give a special shout out to @evvlevie for being my first mutual!! Honestly girl you are amazing!! <3 you've all helped me learn how to express myself, helped me realise shit about myself and just overall made me happy. Over this time I gained moots, sadly lost some on the way (rip envy and ollies accs <3) and overall made my year much better. I've gotten to explore fandoms, discover new ones and more. The metallica fandom on here us fucking amazing. And oh god, last christmas times rtc fandom. I made moots then that still are my favourite people to this day. And to the dear dear people who helped me with my choirsona. That definitely changed my life. Forever. I've gone through a whole ass relationship (which ended on good terms) and it was you lot that supported me through the breakup and I am forever grateful for that

1 Year Anniversary!!!! ✨🌟⭐🎉🎇🎆💖💖

It's my 1 year anniversary of posting on Tumblr today 😄💖! I can't believe it's already been a whole year of drawing and showing you my art. I'm so excited to announce that I have finally found my OC a name and I wanted to share it with all of you. My OC's name is Dakota & their creepypasta name is Ghost, pronouns are them/they & they're known to be a little sneaky from time to time. I'll see about creating and posting their backstory and lore some day, but in the mean time this will do for now, also this is an old picture I made back in 2021 so that's why the date's not right 😅. but, according to my archive, i made this account in september of 2021! i joined the mcyt g/t fandom in late july so my 1 year in the fandom has definitely passed

Wait fr? Like I have been on tumblr for a year? Time went by so fast🥲. It feels like just last week I was going feral over "August" by Taylor Swift (which is the reason I joined tumblr in the first place)

Which also means its almost a year since one of the most difficult times of my life and its crazy how you really do get over it sometimes <3

(This is not about this specific blog, I think I made this in October last year or maybe Sept? Aug? I'm not sure but its been a year man.) I have changed a lot since I discovered Tumblr and I don't think anything else has ever made me feel so seen and vulnerable as some of the posts here. I genuinely love it :) Learning how to romantize everything (legit everything) has made so much of my heartache bearable as well as given me a lot of insight into:

-being a kinder person

-not overlooking my boundaries

-being okay with my sadness

-the inherent romanticism of peeling an orange for someone

-friendships and how they are really the reason life is better

-tumblr poetry which rips me in half and fills the emptiness in me with love and the pain that comes with loving

-going absolutely feral and deranged without shame

-hyperfixating on a piece of media to the point where it effects my sleep schedule

-just being myself honestly (which translates to being a menace, nuisance, etc etc)

I honestly don't even care much about anything else as long as I'm here and I know that I might be here for a longggg time. I have logged on at 3 in the morning sometimes just to escape and help me get over shitty people and the shitty things they did (I got over it). I have logged on during exams and holidays and while eating and while crying so quite frankly this is like my bestfriend if she were an app. I think I will always love being here more than anywhere else(lost in between a book doesn't count) so happy 1 year to me!!

On the subject of morally "bad"

It's been 1 year on Tumblr...

1 year ago, the things on my list of morally reprehensible were many and informed by rampant bigotry. You! Yes, you! You were advertised as an enemy to me.

I was told you were vicious, hostile, corrupting, dangerous!

Everyone was on that list, everyone who was not white (and I am a woman of colour myself), Roman Catholic, college-educated, and affluent (not to mention cishet). If possible, European as well.

1 year on Tumblr has changed me.

Do you know what changed in that year?

I've read, oh, I've read until my eyes bled. Fics on Ao3. Fics on Tumblr. Messages. Posts. Statements. Articles.

I've been infused by the love and the dignity of people I'd literally lay down my life for. I've learned about people and - slowly - I managed to feel a little more comfortable with stories that are different from mine and yet the same in all the ways that mattered.

I've read and seen some truly outrageous stuff and guess what? I liked it.

Fics matter! Their authors matter!

Art matters! The artists matter!

At a moment when we call for censorship and such things, allow me to add my two cents to the discussion...I needed these fics!

EVERYTHING was taboo for me. Every single thing. So, I am begging you, consider the healing and the beauty even the truly outrageous creations may hold - not only for their creator - but also for an audience of bigots who want to be bigots no more.

And thank you - again - for every word of questionable porn, for every explicit drawing, for every crude joke. They might well have saved my soul.

I am officially 1 years old!! Happy Tumblr Birthday to me!!!! Funny how today is my 1st Tumblr b-day and also the day that I lost my 5 year NO Smut-Sunday streak (a thing I do where I'm don't allow myself to read smut on Sundays, the second it hit 12 00 am all the until 11 59 pm, because I realized it was a real big problem tbh.). 5 years clean and I thought it would have been a Klance and/or Drarry fic that broke me in the start. I really thought SKTS would have broken me for real but in actuality it was a freaking Okurmura Rin x Suguro "Bon" Ryuuji fic that got me (and yesterday was my counting of being a official part of the fandom since that was when I looked for any Blue Exorcist fanfiction that I could find on Ao3).

Well enough of that rambling. Happy Birthday to me and I hope you all have a wonderful Morning/Day/Afternoon/Evening/Night, make sure to take care of yourself (Self-care is important), drink lots of water and eat food that is good for your body, and finally, do that thing that makes you feel at peace and calm.
