So as Im reading this article about Saturn transiting the 10th and its affects, the writer assumes that- 

“Approximately 14 years before this transit, we learned, Saturnine lessons the 4th house- we built a secure foundation within ourselves.”

I just thought it was interesting, as I listen to these ignorant folks shoot firecrackers on this 4th day of July. Why, interesting? 

Because in our society children coming from a low-income family, specifically Blacks- cause I’m concerned about my people- we may not come from this assumed stable enough family/foundation that prepares us or supports us for our venture to find where we belong, 10th house. 

This is a deep thought for me. I’m trying to grasp all my points to make it all make sense. 

Basically what I am saying or rather pointing out, how the differences in our childhood/development affect us so many years later in life. Around that age of your Saturn return, 28.5 to 31, depending on the person. White children or children that are more well off tend to have a greater opportunity at developing a more solid foundation. In turn helping them be able to support themselves when it is time to face the world. 

How in this article it is automatically assumed, by the way that it is written, is a reflection I feel of the perspectives and differences that exist between the races. Why they can never understand the Black community being in the state that we are in. All they speak of is the surface manifestations of our spiritual conditions. Not wanting to go deeper and focus on how our spirit came to these conditions. The conversations have started now, but it needs to be deep like Dr. Joy Degruy. Why haven’t white Americans gone through a deprogramming like the Germans did? 

Like we all said it’s a system because anyone whose life isn’t mainstream/ordinary perspective is usually not included or even considered. Not that it is always malicious, like I don't think this one is, it still IS though.  

I do believe there is a natural way that we are suppose to develop as human beings, psychology has it broken all down. Im curious if astrology has it broken down in a similar way. Seems the answer would be yes. Especially babies, adult development isn’t studied so much- at that point we seem to be on our own. Unless you are able to have that strong foundation that was set 14 years before, with the establishment of more mature bonds with older family/adults 10th house purpose can be quite difficult.   

In the Black community because of our history in this country our family bonds are broken, beaten, and damaged in so many ways. I.e. Willie Lynch letter. It’s difficult for us to have these solid strong foundations. Our people are waking, but it is a slow moving beast. I want to be apart of it. I may be going into the belly, thats why I had to go through so much. I want to counsel. 

So when I read how so effortlessly someone speaks of solid foundations that were built when we were 14 in the hood, trying to survive normal kid stuff, and dealing with a father thats not in the house cause your mother left him because he was an alcoholic cause his mother was an alcoholic that used to let his daddy beat on her, cause she saw her mother get done the same way, because her husband was insecure because white men talked down to him in the world and all he was trying to do was be able to take care that woman back at home and kids that he keeps taking his rage out on because its pressure that is just closing in on him. He’s just trying to survive like his father and his father before him had to do. He didn’t know how to manage his emotions only swallow them so he could stay alive and go back home to that woman that he loved. It that why we feel pain is love. What slaves went through to stay together? Ones that were rapped and beat defending love trying to stay together. To have our souls ripped out of our hearts when our loved one was sold down the road never to be seen again. Slaves that learned to love or never love again. I can't even type the pain that exist. That we had to constantly swallow as Black people. To survive here today, 400 years of swallowing our pain. So much so that our throats are sore from all that has not been said. The pain inflicted has been more than doubled down on so many times. So much pressure that it comes from all angles. In the world, home, job, family, school, so much so that you may even begin to see it in the mirror. 

 And still people go on to assume that we/ the majority of us have a solid foundation to lean on as we go out into the world to learn then defend who we are. 

We have been taught not to love ourselves, but we fought, still berated and told no to love ourselves. When I see the protesters. I [feel] our ancestors.   

I believe I am here for a reason. And a reason that will be known about.

Mercury goes direct today along with the Virgo Supermoon still in the ethers. For me, this #VirgoSupermoon is in my 2nd house which is related to our personal finances, material possessions, our values and what we value. I recently got a new job last month and I been working A LOT of hours that I practically live there. I seriously should consider moving into the office. Lol. I also noticed that this Virgo Supermoon is squaring/challenging both my natal #10thHouse #GeminiChiron and my #4thHouse #SagittariusSaturn The 4th/10th house axis represents Cancerian home and foundation vs Capricornian work and ambition. So long story short, this Virgo Supermoon has been emphasizing my challenge to step into this supervisory role at my work and my need for liberation and focus on creating a home for myself or to focus energy about looking for a new home. This moon is also in a #quincunx or #inconjunct transit with my natal 9th house Aries Mercury. Quincunxes/Inconjuncts are all about redirecting, challenging, requiring adjustments, diverting. They're similar to square aspects except they emphasize the need to find a balance or adjustment to satisfy both points on the chart. So my natal Mercury symbolizes my need to express my philosophical thoughts, writings, tarot readings, spirituality, etc however this new job takes up a lot of my time and energy even though it pays well. I wrote down plans to start getting back to doing readings, blogging, and promoting myself but then I got this job which im grateful for but I feel like I have to sacrifice one thing to be successful in the other when I want to basically have my cake and eat it too. Wow! Im always amazed when I take time out to study a chart!
