Bertahanlah dengan prinsip itu. Tidak masalah lingkungan mengatakan kau perawan tua, pendidikanmu terlalu tinggi, kau terlalu mandiri sehingga lelaki tidak punya nyali untuk mendekati atau kau terlalu pemilih sehingga tidak ada yang mampu mengimbangi.

Tidak apa-apa meski harus perlahan. Tidak apa-apa menyeleksi daripada menyesali pilihan. Justru akan sangat baik jika kau memutuskan menikah setelah melalui banyak pertimbangan matang.

Merdekalah. Kau tidak harus hidup seperti kata orang kebanyakan (meski aku sendiri mengakui, ini tidak mudah).

James and Sirius try to be there for their kid in the wake of James' return and the Ministry sucking.

“You okay, kid?”

James hears Sirius ask their kid from outside the drawing room.  He’s only been back a couple of weeks, and Sirius has a closer connection with Harry than James does, but he doesn’t mind.  He enjoys knowing that Sirius has bonded with Harry despite the fact that they didn’t get to be in each other’s lives for so long. 

“Yeah, I’m fine.”

“It’s okay if you’re not,” Sirius says.  “With everything that has happened, I’d be surprised if you were.”

Harry sighs.  “I just – you and Dad having been going through a lot… I don’t want to –”

“Kid, we’re your parents, not the other way around,” Sirius states.  “Rely on us, talk to us.”

Harry’s quiet for several minutes and James decides to enter the room. 

“Hey, Kid, you know that we’re here to take care of you – and I know you’re not used to it, yet, but you don’t have to worry about us, okay?”

Harry looks up at him and looks a bit surprised, but nods, slightly.  “I’m just nervous that even with you coming back and working on freeing Pads, that I could still get kicked out of Hogwarts.  And I know that it’s stupid to want to go back after everything, but I just… what happens if I get expelled?”

“You won’t get expelled,” Sirius insists. 

“And even if you do, we’ll take care of you,” James states.  “We’re going to figure things out together, you won’t have to worry about anything alright?”

Harry sighs.  “I’m just scared.”

Both Sirius and James put their arms around Harry, probably squishing him slightly. 

“It’s okay to be scared, but just try to not to worry for now.  We’ll just have to take things one day at a time.”

Harry nods.  “Yeah, it just sucks.”

James hums.  “Sadly, that’s how things are sometimes, your Pads and I know that better than anyone else, but let’s stay hopeful, alright?”

“Alright.” 

“Good.”
