CS Sunday Spotlight Fic List - Week 1
The spotlight episode of this week is Tallahassee, so here’s some Captain Swan fics I’ve dug out of the archives for your reading pleasure.
If you want to get involved in CS Sunday Spotlight, then please read this post.
Written a fic based around this episode that I haven’t listed here? Just give me a shout and I’ll add it.
Never Let You Fall by Emma_Jones | Ao3 | FF.net
Climbing the beanstalk, Emma falls, and Killian saves her. Based on a deleted scene from 'Tallahassee' Colin spoke of at one of the most recent convention.
All That Glitters by prettybrilliantfunny | Ao3
"Thieves' Bane. I've never seen it, but...I've heard stories. It was the Giants’ answer to Jack’s poisoned sword. Any human who tried to steal their golden treasure…was turned into gold themselves.”
Patience by Kymbersmith90 | Ao3 | FF.net
Maybe one day, the pain will stop. Canon Divergence from 2x06 Tallahassee.
Try Something New, Darling by @captainswanapproved | Tumblr | Ao3 | FF.net
AU. Emma doesn't leave Killian behind in "Tallahassee".
First Class Ass by maraudettee | Ao3 | FF.net
If there was something Emma Swan took pride in it was not being an open book and having the ability to close of her emotions and guard her features from all the prying eyes looking to hurt her. Knowing that he, a man and pirate no less, had been able to see past all her walls, as Mary-Margaret so delicately had put it, in such a short time truly scared her. It scared her shitless.
Navigational Error by @passing-fanciful | Tumblr | Ao3
With any luck, they'll get themselves far away from the beanstalk, and Emma will never have to deal with a certain fairytale pirate ever again.
Bumpy Seas by hernameismeagan | FF.net
Captain Swan fic, my headcanon for 2x06 "Tallahassee"
Hook and Dagger by ferociousbeast | FF.net
A short story about trust, love, magic, and dangerous situations. Set after "Tallahassee".
Trust Issues by silverbranches | FF.net
Hook manages to catch up with the Emma, Snow, Mulan, and Aurora. That night, he and Emma have a conversation about why she left him at the top of the beanstalk, and her trust issues. Set after "Tallahassee".
Lost and Out of Hope by ShellyStark | FF.net
What if Mulan would have followed through and cut down the beanstalk in "Tallahassee"? How would Emma react? How would that change things between her and Hook? How the bloody hell would they get down from that city in the sky? Or would they be left there for all eternity.
Trying Something New by peaceheather | Ao3
What if, on the beanstalk, Emma had decided not to chain Hook in the giant's castle after all?
Forget Me Not by devilishlysas | FF.net
When Emma abandoned Hook at the top of the beanstalk she had no idea just what path that decision might lead her down... straight to Neverland apparently. Never trust a Pirate Captain, especially when your survival might depend on it.
Unbroken by ahappyendingisstillanending | FF.net
Emma makes the quick decision to rescue Hook from the giant. Now, not only do they have to find the rest of the crew, but they must find a way back to Storybrooke before Cora can catch them. Will they succeed? Will they fail?
