I could learn the little idiosyncrasies and memorize everything about my friends but my memory is not good and sometimes it feels like I know nothing about the people closest to me. I have a perception of you that isn't entirely accurate despite how many late night talks we've had.

Humans long to be loved and understood but I find that too difficult a task for me; to understand and know someone so thoroughly that I can read the emotions that paint their face when I don’t even understand what I’m feeling sometimes.

Is it not enough that I check in on you and send you photos I think you’ll like? Is it not enough to talk about our days and tell each other when it rains wherever we are? Is it not enough that I'll answer your calls anytime even though we haven’t talked in a few days?

When I ask you about something you were talking about before can you hear me say I love you in between the lines? Even when we get things wrong about each other, even when we find we don’t fully understand each other, can you still hear me say I love you when I agree to play a game with you? When you fall asleep on call while we watch something together can you hear me say goodnight and I love you before I hang up?

Understanding human beings is so difficult. But all I know is you are my friend and I want you to be happy. Is that not enough?

aaggghhh i wish i had a better answer for you here, sweet. i've gone back and forth on this since forever, but....i don't know if i do believe in it, either. i'm a little bit of a cynic myself - probably has a lot to do with the environment i was raised in, but i think that if it does exist, it is super rare. so rare that i would struggle to buy into it, too.

i think that's why we write about it so much, you know? writing has always been about satiating hunger and filling empty wonder, so i guess this is no different. there is a tiny, niggling part of me, though, that figures that if i can dream it up, if i can put it into some sequence of words that make me feel something as i write them, then...it must, right? it must exist somewhere.

whether it does or doesn't (and i so hope that it does) - i know and recognize other kinds of love, everywhere i go. the girls bathroom in a club, weeping over how much we love each other. the weight of my nephew when he's sat on my hip. the scar i still have on my knee from the time my childhood dog jumped up to kiss me with such strength that the dude literally floored me.

love, in and of itself, exists in whichever form you need it - of that, i am sure. and if reading about it in a story is what helps you feel it, then read forever, my friend. think of it as me shoving all the love i have to give, straight into your hands. i love you!!!! can you feel it!!!!!!

But when one of the gang members is dancing with her, she's laughing and just have a good time, but they realize that the way she looks at them is changing; her eyes become much more focused on *them* not the dance itself or the scenery, just them, and her smile become smaller as if she is in a daze, just looking at them- there is a certain tenderness and longing that wasn't there before, her cheeks become a little redder, her hold on there should/hand becomes a bit tighter as the cogs in her brain and turning as she realizes, that she *loves* them, not in the platonic way she originally thought. since you mentioned giorno and bruno specifically i must share some Thoughts that came to mind ,,

dancing with bruno is giving him the chance to finally let loose, showing a mixture or fun and professionality, testing the limits of what you can get away with and him never bothering to stop you. years of knowing each other aid you in following his lead without him even realizing it. the lowest his hands would travel would be your waist. however, if you were to move them for him, he wouldn’t be opposed. the mutual affection has been a long time coming — like all the puzzle pieces finally falling into place. you fit together perfectly. 

dancing with giorno is all about making inside jokes no one else would understand, occasional bouts of laughter whenever you both maintain eye contact for too long, him trying (and struggling) to maintain a serious countenance. he follows your lead just as much as you follow his. he’d allow his hands to rest on your hips, so long as you’re comfortable with the display. he’s got some boldness hiding beneath that gentlemanly exterior. that being said, his love itself is soft and gentle, almost as if he’s unsure how to go about it. you’ll be the north star that guides him so he needn’t navigate this new territory by himself.

Some of my forgotten favorites are: Cecil Dennis (Revenge for Jolly), Rydal Keener (The Two Faces of January), Standard Gabriel (Drive) (tbh this last one I just like the vibes, I don't think we have enough in the movie, but I like it anyway)

I’m so tempted to do a slow burn folklore love triangle inspired fic were malfoy!reader is a year older than Draco and her first year she doesn’t really have any friends but then she kinda of because she makes frienemies with the twins then she starts having feeling for George in her 3/4 year but realizes they’re better as just friends so they stay as best friends, then in her fifth year when GoF is happening she becomes friends with Harry cuz she’s the only one who truly bealives him so they go from sworn enemies to frenemies to never not bickering+a lot of tension😏😏 and they’re both like catching feelings but then reader gets with Cedric and Harry is all grumpy and annoyed but then the Yule ball comes around and reader looks so pretty and is a bit older and taller than Harry and he feels so flustered and intimidated and a little sad that he doesn’t have yn and because he definitely doesn’t know how to handle his emotions or cope in a healthy way their relationship goes back to frenemies BUTTTT in the second task he sees her in the bottom of the lake and has an internal fight on who to save but then Cedric saves reader and then Harry is all worried and Draco is all angry at Cedric because as far as he is concerned it’s his fault she was down there and then CEDRIC DOESNT DIE but him and reader do break up, then in readers 6th year her and Harry start becoming close again but now that things have become so much more tense because of the return of Voldemort Harry and her have to keel their relationship super secret and pining and shit and AAGGGHHH first they’re just friends but things start happening they start ykkkk like tlrealising theynlike each other and to all the adults it looks like compete deja vu because Harry looks exactly like James and reader is a malfoy but has her moms side genes and looks like the black so it looks like jegulus all over again and there is so much angst and then things seem amazing but then start going downhill and Harry and reader start fighting because she has a death eater family and then everything finally explodes after Sirius is ALMOST killed by readers aunt also happens to look like reader and they’re forced to pick sides and reader can’t leave her little brother so she breaks up with Harry and leaves to malfoy manor where Voldemort and all the death eaters are currently stayin, although she doesn’t last long there because she keeps talking to the order and the twins secretly and they caught her and Bella kind of tortures her like she did Hermione and writes with her knife traitor in her arm and she just keeps getting tortured in her own how’s by voldys orders for being a traitor until finally she is able to escape and aparate at the burrow shei is seriously hurt and passes out immediately, Harry feels super guilty and in the aftermath of this whole thing she goes and stays with wolf star mostly with Sirius but Remus happens to sometimes crash there, and she is so damas because her own family hates her and tortured her and because she feels like guilty about leaving Draco behind and also because she’s not with Harry anymore and then her seventh year start and she has never been sadder. So at the start of the year she was practically alone like 1000% of the time and then her and Harry are so angst specially during the slug parties and the she sees how Harry starts falling for Ginny so it’s the most painful thing in the world for her and then the war and then and then and then I want it to end happy but it’s definitely going to be long

night market visit (buy something for the other but don't give it yet) > short stay in a village (cm falls asleep against a tree, tb shields him from sun) > fabric peddler at tang estate (cm buys a bolt of red silk) > mid-autumn festival moon viewing on the roof (tb tells folktales to cm who doesn't know much while they have mooncake and wine) > on the way back to mount hua for winter (making a pot of soup together, huddling for warmth, first snowfall) > spring in mt hua (chung myung and chung mun talk it out) > chinese new year (firecrackers in the courtyard, sparklers. babies braid flowers in tb's hair) > morning of cny (cm goes to a tailor alone to have something made)

there's even more like i want them to visit the beach or the hulunbuir grasslands and i also want to have this one scene where maybe they're watching a wedding procession from the sidelines in a tavern when then a see-through curtain blows and covers tb's face for moment and cm starts to think about how he'd look like in a veil and *throws up blood* or like tb's lips are a little dry so they crack and bleed and cm had to wipe it off with his thumb and it smears so it looks a little like lipstick and this happens not long before or after that wedding procession and *tears my face off*

Sue was only four months pregnant around this time and hasn't graduated medical shcool yet but she had a practice paitient with her she was pregnant with triplets and was relieving her of the severe pain and pressure and she was really nice and calm but then her teacher/advisor had left the two alone since he had a laboring patient and was called in a extreme hurry and so she is staying with her and helped her unconditionally and her patient said "Your really pretty you know for your age" and she had replied quite flustered "Oh, thank you. You're really pretty too ya know" As she rubs her low stretched belly and also had just watched her dilation as her patient let out a loud grunt "Agh!" and Sue said "Are you okay?" Her patient said "Oh, yeah I'm fi- Ow! Ahh!" She replied worried "I'm gonna get someone for you." but her patient said "Wai- AHH!" and she turns around to see a puddle begin to form and she acts accordingly and fast dashed to her and first checks her dilation "Shit, 10cm already!" She thought and her patient grabbed her tight belly and began pushing "AGHH!! AAAHHHH!! oohh AAAGGGHHH!!" And Sue knew she had too and had repostioned the patient now just checks her baby saying "Okay good!" and then said "Ok, Ok now breathe" and repeated the process 15 times and the baby wasn't coming out correctly it was breech and it made no progress even after a big push it wasn't moving at all and she had to use the forceps and had pulled them out of a pantry.

And then clamp the forceps around the hips of the baby and pulled it out carefully "Okay in three.. two..... one" and pulled as much as she could as the entire baby was pulled out of her patient "AGH! HNNGGGHHHH!! HOOOHH FFU- AAARGGHH!" she cut off the cord and had told immediately asked her to push hard for the next two babies and she did with extreme prejudice "AAAGGHHH!! GAAHH!! AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!! AAAAAARRRGGGHHH!" and the baby came fast crowning immediately but then it slowly slid back in but she pushed real hard "AAGGGHHH!! GAAAAAHHHH!!AAAAAAAAAA!!! *Breathing* AAAA!!!" and she crowned but it still slowly went back in and so to compensate she put both of her hands on her belly and pressed down on it forcing out the baby as the mother lets out a deafening scream AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! *Gasp* AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" and comes gushing out the baby covering the floor in blood and fluids as Sue says "Ma"am you need to take a breath alright, you need it quite a lot actually." Both of them being tired but one is in labor and the other just four months pregnant and she assists her through the immense pain cleaning off the sweat on both of their paler skin faces dripping sweat from their black hair as she heard her patient say "Please! PLEASE! OH G-" And she rushes to check and saw an immense amount of swelling and bleeding from her pussy and dug through the storage and found the one thing they needed a medical vaccum for helping in the labor and delivery of all laboring patients.

As she inserted the vaccum and hearing her laboring patient cry and scream, Sue turned it on and began slowly pulling the baby out and as it began it began crowning as her patient groans "HOOOOOOHHHH MY GOD MMMMMMMMM *Huff*" As Sue said "Okay I can't pull anymore and so I took it off and now I need you to do a big push, okay" and she counted down "In three, two....... one, PUSH!!" And she lied about taking it off she just needed assitance as the patient let out a ghastly scream as she tugged it out and it fell into Sue's arms gushing with fluid all over on the floor and so she cut the cord one last time and giving her patient the kids as they laid back and had rest as her mentor/advisor opened the door and said "Oh, ummm soo you need help?" And Sue said "Yes we definitely need help." and they carried her on a wheelchair over to her bed.
