I don't know if Mr. Santiago (OUTCASTComix on Deviantart (@brandontheoutcast on Tumblr and on Instagram)'s seen that british slasher spoof of A. A. Milne's beloved characters from The Hundred Acre Wood (I know I don't want to see it since those guys are forever part of my childhood after all), but I think even Erma would prefer the "willy nilly silly old bear" and his timid, little piglet pal in the way we all know them as.
I also think it's really sad seeing a well-loved children's thing being used for something adult-oriented and kids aren't supposed to watch or hear it (especially since I've recently heard about another adult Winnie the Pooh parody going to be made soon). I don't own any of these characters. Note. Trust me. This picture gets even more heartwarming when you look at it while also listening to Kenny Loggins' Return to Pooh Corner. ;)

A. A MILNE
1882-1956
English author of Winnie-the-Pooh
A.A. Milne was born in Kilburn, London, England. He married Dorothy ‘Daphne’ de Silincourt in 1913 and had one child. In 1925, he purchased the country home, Cotchford Farm, Hartfield, East Sussex.
Milne served in World War I and was captain of the British Home Guard in World War II. He was a vocal critic of author PG Wodehouse, who was captured in his home country, France by the Nazis and was imprisoned. Wodehouse later did radio broadcasts about his time in confinement. Milne accused Wodehouse of committing treason by cooperating with England’s enemy. Wodehouse got revenge by making parodies of Milne’s poems and accused him of being jealous of other writers. Milne was a pacifist and believed that ‘fighting Hitler’ was ‘fighting the Devil, the Anti-Christ… Hitler was a crusader against God.’
Milne was a children’s writer and worked as a journalist before making his name writing several plays. He also wrote several plays for his son, Christopher Robin, some of which featured his son’s toy bear called Winnie-the-Pooh. These plays were later published in two volumes. The character Christopher Robin from Winnie-the-Pooh was influenced by Milne’s own son, Christopher Robin Milne. Winnie-the-Pooh reappeared in the two collections of stories Winnie-the-Pooh (1926) and The House at Pooh Corner (1928). Toad of Toad Hall (1929) was his adaptation from Kenneth Grahame’s book, ‘The Wind in the Willows’.
When it comes to religion, Milne said, ‘The Old Testament is responsible for more atheism, agnosticism, disbelief - call it what you will - than any book ever written; it has emptied more churches than all the counter attractions of cinema, motor bicycle and golf course.’
Milne later suffered a stroke and had brain surgery in 1952 which left him an invalid and died in 1956, aged 74.

This is a movie that when I first heard about made me laugh. I decided to catch this when it came to my theater. This is a wild and fun movie. It is absurd, but it takes the backwoods slasher element and it has fun it with it. Is this great? Not by any stretch. This is shut off your brain and go with it for sure.
