I wanted to draw Archie with fins so the only reasonable solution was to redesign all the rr leaders (and Volo for Dio) I know a lot of people have made designs for them but i wanted to so...
Read more for info about them all:
Giovanni: Obviously the Leader Leader of Rainbow Rocket. He succeeded in taking over Sylph Co. and ruining everything with Team Rocket, so now he's just kinda rich and annoying. Nothing really crazy with him other than that... he's got a lot of money, he's got a lot of power and he's mean enough to flaunt it. He's trying to use the wormholes in Alola to further his own reach.
Maxie: Used Groudon to try to expand the land and in the process killed basically everything... there are a few people and pokemon just barely surviving around I'm sure but for the most part everything is pretty desolate. Plus holding the Red Orb for long enough fucked him over and now he's just kinda partly fused with Groudon. On the bright side he deals with the heat really well and doesn't get dehydrated so he's perfect for the fucked up world he made. He likes that it's warm in Alola but he's not a huge fan of the water...
Archie: Like Maxie, he used Kyogre to expand the Oceans and also killed basically everything, except water Pokemon. The Blue Orb fused him with Kyogre and now he has gills and can breath under water, but in the opposite way of Maxie he gets dehydrated quick and needs a lot of water. Sometimes he just up and leaves from the rr mansion so he can go swimming, since he's more comfortable in the water. Everyone else just waits for him to show back up instead of trying to find him.
Cyrus: Used the Red Chain to force Dialga and Palkia to help him create a new world, as well as Giratina. Protip: Don't force God's kids to do stuff, you will start bleeding from your eyes. The wings are because I like them, there's six of them and each set is based on a legendary of the Creation Trio. He's still the same person. He doesn't talk to the others much and spends a lot of time in his own room doing his own things.
Ghetsis: He succeeded in getting everyone to release their pokemon, leaving him with almost complete control over Unova and further. He's a lot like Giovanni, where he's just kind of a pretentious ass and he likes to rub his power in everyone's face. He got rid of his one arm because I don't think he'd keep an arm that barely works around for much longer if he could help it. He also has a sort of Reshiram/Zekrom motif throughout his outfit since he has acquired both of them. He bothers Giovanni a lot, since he's determined to use him to further his own plans...
Lysandre: Used the Ultimate Weapon and Yveltal to kill everyone... However killing everyone on the planet takes a lot of energy to accomplish and royally fucked him up. Like AZ he got a whole lot taller but it also burnt most of his body, blinded him and kinda ruined a big chunk of his critical thinking. He's a borderline scp creature that's fueled by blood lust. He's useful for keeping anyone from bothering RR but the Leaders try to keep their distance from him for the sake of themselves. He does go through moments of clarity where he's mostly himself but sometimes he also just tries to kill anything that's near him.
Volo: He isn't an RR member obviously but I made him a design for Dio! I just wanted to give him a new outfit. I highly doubt he's super happy with the new world he's created seeing as it doesn't really change much even if he is basically God now. He's still kinda miserable and lonely. I'm sure he regrets it but it's not like he can go back on it and even if he could he's got a facade to keep up.
Lusamine isn't here mostly because I already really like her Mother Beast design so maybe I'll just draw it at some point...

✏️ (moral construct) we ready have smt going on but in curious to hear all the ideas youve got!
Send a ✏️ and I'll share a scenario or plot I want to explore.
Tumblr media
KICKING DOWN THE DOOR--OH DO I???? I HAVE SO MANY IDEAS, NOT MANY WOULD WORK BUT LET ME THROW.
Things to keep in mind: Emmet and Cyrus' worldviews could mesh well. Emmet agrees that the world is imperfect, and his hatred of gods would make him inclined to agree with Cyrus' actions on using gods to achieve a perfect world.
These are more... feeling-based, rather than action, but action could be built upon them;
The Devil's Train: (Big inspo) What if Ingo never returned from Hisui, and Emmet sought Giratina to get answers. And since a part of Cyrus' soul is in Distortion World, he could tell Emmet trespassing into it? An unlikely pair who could become partners-in-crime, and even if they do not take direct action, Emmet would swear loyalty to Nivalis/Cyrus after the initial interactions, and would act as his right-hand man? Let's get this bread (recreate the world).
Pushing the Limits of Time: my Em is connected to Dialga and Reshiram, and what if this connection was literal? What if Nivalis could connect the dots that Em is actually a fragment of Dialga (and Ingo is of Palkia), and could push this to his advantage, and achieve control over time through Em as the proxy (and perhaps control over space too) ? Em thinking he found a friend in Cyrus, but slowly pushed to limit and reconnecting with the godly aspect instead of fulfilling Dialga's wish to experience being a normal human. The happy/carefree man could be broken down to get access to real power >:3
We Go Way Back: WHAT IF... After Emmet ran away from home, Ingo and Emmet ended up with Team Galactic --they had literally nowhere to go, and suffered enough to buy into the idea of perfect world and how emotions sucked. I think Em would be 18 when Cyrus was defeated? We could have plot for Galactic days, or post-Galactic where Emmet 'befriends' Nivalis, not realizing who he actually is. Just... Nivalis connected to a loyal soldier from his past, while Emmet is conflicted or kept in dark.
Karma Is Real: A different take to Em being born of Dialga's wish to be human-- what if Emmet and Nivalis' tracks met often due to all the Galactic shenanigans prior, and Nivalis cannot get rid of this smiley headache-- and maybe does not want to end contact due to realizing what Em is before he notices. (Yes I am rotating my Dialga!Em in my mind and I want to throw at Cyrus.)
Tumblr media
I just adore Nivalis and want Emmet to bother him and serve him, whether as a happy distraction who could learn so much from Nivalis, or as a soldier >:)

I was under the belief that determination gives you the power to save and reload and that's why flowey had it because he was a most determined person in the underground before frisk
But don't worry I understand Emmet's determination literally makes him unkillable
Emmet is the only being alive with more raw Determination than Frisk. However, as his ability to reset has been removed, Frisk is left the one with the ability still.
However, in Giritina breaking the game, the rules have changed. Thanks to Gaster's help, Giritina has enough control over the timelines that it can move the beginning of a reset, as well as straight-up remove an ability to reset entirely. Emmet's inability to reset despite his frankly disturbing amount of Determination is a prime example of this. However, Giritina does not have the ability to give someone this power, much less use the power itself. It's much easier to pull a plug than it is to fill the giant wash basin, especially when you have to do so by walking to and from the nearest stream and the wash basin with only two buckets, both of which have holes in them. You need to either patch up the buckets or fix the entire plumbing system of the house so the hose works.
(Translation: holey buckets = Giritina is weak, plumbing system is broken = Giritina is not built to work with time, water = time-manipulating ability)
In addition, Dialga (the God of Time) is the one that gifted the ability to reset to Humans. However, it is only accessible in the presence of Monster magic. Because of this, Frisk can only reset when around Monsters.
As for the reason why Humans have this rather limited power, during the wars that eventually drove Monsterkind underground, many gods tried "helping" by giving Humans abilities they could only use when in the presence of Monsters or while in a place filled with residual Monster magic (a place where Monsters live for extended periods of time), ideally living harmoniously with them. As you can probably tell, none of this worked in the slightest. In addition, it was Arceus's idea to do all this.
Dialga gave those with Determination the ability to turn back time to a point, also known as Resetting.
Palkia gave those with Kindness the ability to create barriers to protect others, which ended up being used by seven Humans led by Arceus to create the Barrier keeping Monsters inside The Underground, a big reason why things can go in, but can't come out (they were outside when they cast the barrier, so oops).
Reshiram gave those with Integrity the ability to manipulate heat, often appearing as the ability to create fire and ice just by moving heat around.
Zekrom gave those with Justice the ability to manipulate electrons, which most often manifested as the ability to manipulate electricity (and for the smarter and more clever people with excellent control, Telekinesis caused by manipulating the electrons around atoms together to make objects float; fucking this up leads to extremely dangerous side-effects).
Groudon gave those with Bravery the ability to manipulate rocks and dirt, also known as Terrakinesis.
Kyogre gave those with Perseverance the ability to manipulate water and similar liquids, also known as Aquakinesis.
Arceus itself gave those with Patience the ability to "Call upon thine Gods for direction or aid", also known as Asking Mom To Do It. Those with this ability were essentially prophets.
Few nowadays still have access to these powers. Psychics are most often powerful Justice souls with such perfect control that they don't even know the electricity side of their abilities, people with actual Prophetic abilities are always the most patient of Patience souls, and some martial artists with Bravery souls have so much bravery that they have the ability to split giant boulders in half without even thinking about it.
Before his ability was removed, Emmet was the only currently living person with a Determination soul that had the ability to turn back time an hour or so without being around Monster magic. That's why Ingo is so used to being in a constant state of Deja-vu.

Repost with animals you associate with your muse!
Tumblr media
Directly or indirectly.
DRAGONS - Maybe its because of his buddy/theme, maybe its because my brain goes Time Dragon and thinks of Dialga (which also fits his color theme!), who knows. Dragons can control various elements and even the world around them, so even time isn’t out of the question. They’re rare and powerful and have a variety of meanings. Fitting for someone with so much cunning and power in his grasp. But, like most (unfortunate) stories, the dragon is slain in the end and so is he.
PEACOCKS - This is more regal and majestic bird. He is from one of the wealthiest families so it wouldn’t be too far to associate him with a noble bird. He may not have an ancient ancestry like his classmate, but I’d say he’s probably at that same level in the modern world. Also he’s another rich kid I just associate with peacocks lol.
FOX - Who doesn’t trust the student president? He’s smart, helpful, kind, friendly, sweet- you’d never think he’s about to rewind time! Like the usual fox motif, he puts on the sly/cunning facade and hides his true intentions. He doesn’t let up on his charm until the final act, but by then its too late.
HUMMINGBIRD - Saw once that this bird was a stopper of time and yes I’m going with all the time stuff. They move so fast and seeing footage of them in slow motion is pretty neat! Theres also that silly myth about them dying if they stop moving, which makes me think that he’ll “die” if he doesn’t stop with his plan. Obviously he won’t, like the bird, but he doesn’t think so.
WHITE RABBIT - Another time related one, but more so related to ‘Alice in Wonderland’. The white rabbit being the keeper of time in her majesty’s court. Obviously its a little more...silly but hey! Time theme.
HUMAN - does this count? Humans are ‘animals’ in a sense. Imperfect and with so many flaws. It’s also an odd one out on this list, which I think is...fitting? It shows that he really isn’t the perfect being he strives to be. Also was struck with a thought about Oleana (pkmn swsh) and how she has all beautiful Pokemon on her team and one garbage and figured that would work with this list, humans being the ‘garbage’.
TAGGING:  anyone!

Umbrella academy Pokémon AU? Each sibling has an affinity to a legendary maybe?
okay you have made me curious enough to explore this in between my monumental task of scanning in Every Family Photo in the house
so i’m thinking this is a universe where all these children are just. Found. No parents, nothing, because I want to avoid implications. But the point is that these children are blessed by a legendary, sort of. They’re not pokemon, but they’re not really human either because humans aren’t supposed to have powers like pokemon, right? They’re kind of like human shaped pokemon really
Anyway Reginald collects the kids and squirms through on a technicality because technically the kids aren’t human so he can train them like a pokemon team. And so begins the Umbrella Academy! Which is a team of six because that’s the max number of pokemon on a team of course, sorry Vanya you have to stay behind in the box manor
i’m using this page as a reference because i will freely admit i’m behind on legendaries and sub-legendaries and mythical pokemon and also i don’t really know the difference between those three categories
Luther:
Zamazenta: Shields the others, durability from steel form, fighter. Has second form which could symbolize Luther going from ‘regular’ human appearance to enhanced form that he is ashamed of as it’s less human.
Terrakion: My guy is built like a brick wall and is strong enough to destroy a castle wall in like, one blow. I love and support them.
Lunala: this one is just me being an asshole because Lunala is known as “the beast that calls the moon” and Luther’s relationship to the moon is a big old thing right there
Diego:
Palkia: this is because Palkia has the ability to warp space which is. Pretty much Diego’s power in the show right? Warps space to that his knives always hit? Also explains Diego’s fight on sight rivalry with Five if Five is Dialga’s lmao Luther stops him from yeeting himself at Five like, at least twice in the show that I remember off the top of my head
Zacian: this is literally just because it’s got a sword and Diego’s power is sharp pointy things so
Virizion: They have knife horns on their head. Knife horns. That’s all.
Allison:
Azelf: Azelf is the bringer of willpower and Allison’s whole thing is overriding that, which Azelf has been shown to be able to do.
Jirachi: her reality powers could be explained by managing to tap into wishes, though Jirachi’s wishes can’t create objects.
Klaus:
Mew: okay if we’re gently looking at comics Klaus as well then the ability to levitate and be a tiny little shit is absolutely perfect and also makes sense with Reginald’s insistence of Klaus’s incredible potential?? Let me be valid. Also, lives at the tree of life right? Opposite of life is death so that could tie in I guess??????
Yveltal: stealing life energy is as close as I could find to an actual death related legendary I’ll be honest.
Darkrai: he’s nightmares but I mean Klaus has a lot of those so. Seriously where is the pokemon god of the dead like the closest i can find are the legendary beasts because they literally died in a tower (that’s dark)
Five:
Dialga: the obvious choice because Dialga is literally like the time god. Since Dialga lives in another dimension I figure they just kind of scoop Five up and steal him? And so Five is stuck in Dialga’s dimension while he’s trying to both master his powers and get home. While having to deal with his overprotective pokemon dad. Also feeds into his ability to rile Diego up with like one word if Diego is Palkia’s
Celebi: able to travel through time and exist simultaneously through time so a stellar choice for obvious reasons. However, Celebi could also be the one who rescues Five from Dialga’s realm since Celebi can sense if something is a temporal anomaly and return them to their timeline sO that’s a possibility. Shared custody?
Xerneas: look Xerneas has the power to share eternal life and it would neatly explain why Five is just. An eternal thirteen-year-old like he is in the comics so there’s that. He would be so salty about it, too. Five just. turns into a tree for seventeen years after using his powers too much lmao can you imagine?? The tree in the courtyard is actually five surprise bitches
Ben:
Giratina: travels and controls dimensions besides those of time and space which could totally explain his ability to access whatever weird tentacle dimension exists in his stomach?? There we go Ben there is a gate to the distortion world
Deoxys: the closest I could get to a weird tentacle legendary honestly??
Yveltal: stealing life energy and then going to sleep is probably about as scary as tentacles right?? look there’s a distinct lack of weird tentacle legendaries it’s a problem
Vanya:
Meloetta: for that musical tie in yo. Also bulbapedia says that Meloetta is capable of becoming invisible and if that’s not a metaphor for Vanya’s childhood I don’t know what is.
Arceus: i mean. If anyone could end the world in one blow it’s probably the original pokemon god, right?
I’m personally liking Terrakion for Luther, Palkia for Diego, Azelf for Allison, Mew for Klaus, Dialga for Five, Giratina for Ben, and Meloetta for Vanya but there are several i like and also if there are ones y’all want to argue for or throw into the ring let me know! I definitely don’t proclaim to be the most knowledgeable person about pokemon
(especially legendaries which i lost track of years ago rip)
Ben, staring at his hands: If Giratina is my parent. Does that mean arceus is my… grandparent? Is god my grandparent, guys?
just shenanigans
Klaus: yeah i died but mom bailed me out of the afterlife
Luther: mo - you mean mew?
Klaus: oh yeah, mew. lol i dunno how they knew but they highfived me and yeeted me back to life. they have tiny baby hands i love them
Ben: i don’t know what the fuck mew is legend of and at this point i’m too afraid to ask

Psycho Analysis: Cyrus
Tumblr media
(WARNING! This analysis contains SPOILERS!)
Generation IV of Pokemon is the point where the writers finally started to show some competence in their writing skills; no longer do we have idiotic eco-terrorists who have not thought through their plan, and instead we have a bumbling group of criminals who are something akin to a cult, all serving a man who is keeping them in the dark about his ultimate plan. And, obviously, Cyrus is that man.
Cyrus was a huge step forward in terms of Pokemon villains. He has fairly complex and dangerous motives and unlike Archie and Maxie’s original incarnations was not a thoughtless idiot who didn’t consider the most important aspects of his plan. No, Cyrus definitely considers all parts of his plan, and no matter which game you’re playing, Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum, what he hopes to achieve and his means of doing so are utterly chilling.
Motivation/Goals: In stark contrast to the more grounded villainy of Giovanni, and closer in line (but much more polished and refined) to the world-threatening actions of Team Aqua and Team Magma, Cyrus has a rather grandiose scheme: he wishes to utilize the power of Dialga and/or Palkia so that he may reshape the universe into something devoid of spirit. In a lot of regards, he’s very similar to Thanos, right down to his well-intentioned extremism pushing him far beyond the pale due to the depraved lengths he goes to in order to achieve his goal. He lies and manipulates all of his admins, to the point where in Platinum at least each one of them only knows a third of his true plan until the final showdown on Mt. Coronet. He also tortures and abuses the Lake Trio, and while he foolishly allowed the player to free them in Diamond and Pearl, in Platinum he uses their power to create two Red Chains with which to control Dialga and Palkia, effectively rendering the Lake Trio’s powerless to thwart him. Of course, he didn’t account for Giratina, but how often does one account for Yog-Sothoth crashing your party?
The thing that really sets Cyrus apart, though, is the fact that the entire game he is completely and totally aware how much of a danger he is to the universe. Archie and Maxie at least assumed they’d be able to control Kyogre and Groudon so that they might benefit their goals, only learning later that the two could not be controlled; Cyrus not only knows that he will be able to control the gods of time and space, he always planned on utilizing their power to fulfill his selfish desires, to the point of in the first two games essentially carrying a god complex and desiring to rule over his new world as a god.
Personality: Cyrus is a strange one. As a blue-haired emotionally-stunted nihilist who views compassion as weakness and emotion as a problem to be rectified, he might as well be the blueprint for Rick Sanchez. But there are things about him that seem to betray that, for all his talk of despising emotion, he still does feel something. The fact he has a Crobat is one such betrayal; as it can only evolve from Golbat at high friendliness, he had to at least have shown some sort of compassion to Golbat, and while one could argue manipulation, there are some hints that Cyrus is not a heartless monster after all, but rather an emotionally stunted and ultimately tragic and misguided fool.
Final Fate: Cyrus, interestingly, is the only villain who does not get reformed or punished in any way for his actions; sure, in Platinum he does have a breakdown upon being defeated, but he then stays in the Distortion World of his own volition, with the implication that while he has been thwarted once, he most definitely is going to try again. In fact, the closest Cyrus ever comes to being punished is in a world where he actually wins and is then swallowed whole by what is presumably Giratina, which ends up with him joining up with Rainbow Rocket and, upon defeat there, questioning his own beliefs and generally proving that beneath his icy exterior there is a heart.
Best Scene: While it’s easy to say all of his battles, or the scene where he accidentally summons Giratina, I feel his post-battle moments in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon Rainbow Rocket plot are really interesting and show a lot of insight into his character. Hell, his own battle there shows he brought his team of Pokemon with him into the ‘perfect world’ he created, and there are also heavy implications it was in fact Cyrus who wrote the journal entries about Rotom that were found in Platinum. It adds some interesting layers of tragedy to the character.
Best Quote: From the aforementioned moment in the Rainbow Rocket plot: "Had I met you sooner...would things have been different for me...?" Such a small line, but one that says so much.
Final Thoughts & Score: Cyrus is such a fascinating and complex villain; in fact, he might be my personal favorite villain of the franchise. A big part of what makes him so intriguing is the numerous hints to his backstory, with the journal entries implying he may have once been friends with Rotom and his own grandfather mentioning how he could never live up to the expectations of his parents and so rejected his emotions, repressed his rage and hatred, and began to prefer the company of machines to anything else.
All this, and the grandfather even says how he could have taken Cyrus away from that… but he didn’t. And his friendship with Rotom, his seeming last link to his humanity, was ultimately handed off to Charon for research. Everything paints Cyrus as an ultimately bitter, tragic figure, though it is far easier to feel sorry for him in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon where he actually seems to feel regret, as opposed to the Sinnoh games where he is utterly remorseless and expresses a desire to try again at his grand scheme of reshaping the world in his image.
For a character in an RPG franchise like Pokemon, one that is aimed at a younger audience, Cyrus is remarkably dark and complex, and really helped set the bar for antagonists in the franchise’s main series, a bar that would only ever be jumped over on one other occasion. Cyrus is a pretty obvious 10/10, and is yet another reason I eagerly await the inevitable Sinnoh game remakes, if only for the chance to thwart his nightmarish plans yet again and maybe, just maybe, get even more insight into the twisted mind that is Cyrus, Galactic Leader.

What ever happened to the other TQftL one-shot? I know one of them ended up as chapter 76, but the other one? I remember you posted the first few sentences from it on the quest blog since those were non-spoilery (which the server ate years ago along with a bunch of other good stuff), but is this still a thing or did plans change or something? This has been bugging me for a while now.
One-Shot A ended up as the first scene of chapter 75, the one with Mitch! One-Shot B was parts of chapter 76. Technically later there was a third one, ‘chaletwo.docx’, about Chaletwo and Mew shortly after Chaletwo’s creation, half of which became the inspiration for the final scene of chapter 76 and the other half of which (unfinished) never made it in as I deemed it unnecessary. I talk about that one a little in the chapter 25 commentary that’s going up tomorrow.
I think you may actually be referring to the QftLverse creation story that I wrote, though, because I did post an excerpt from that, but I don’t think I ever posted an excerpt from One-Shot A (it would’ve given too much away, I think). That would be this thing here. I was originally going to make that an extra at the end, but ultimately I pretty much just fit the really relevant information into chapter 76, so I didn’t feel it was needed.
I guess I can post the rest of that, though, for the hell of it! It’s a poor attempt at mythical writing last edited in 2008, so please excuse the general badness, but. (Serious spoilers if you haven’t read the fic.)
“Far, far backin the mists of time, there was no world. There was just chaos and, in itsmidst, an egg, or something like an egg in any case.
“And the egghatched, and out of it came Arceus, the Original One. And two others he made tospring out from himself, Dialga and Palkia, and with them came the fourdimensions of existence. And the third sprang out of him too, Giratina, and itbrought about the law that everything must perish.
“And when thedimensions had come into being, a little grain of potential began to expandinto the nothingness to fill it; and thus was formed the universe with all ofits laws and elements; and because the dimensions never ended, so it is stillexpanding to this day.
“But whenArceus saw the universe, he could see more potential, and wished to createLife. And he created by his will a being into the universe and named it Azelf. And it had will as he did.
“But Arceusshook his head and said: No, this will not do; and he used his knowledge andexperience from the previous creation to create another being and named itUxie. And it was wise, but it still lacked.
“So Arceusagain shook his head in despair and said: No, I must try again. And he createda being and called it Mesprit, and it could feel emotions as he did. But it wasstill lacking, and Arceus was exhausted.
“And theOriginal One had nearly given up when he realized what he should do. He toldthe three living beings he had created: I am unable to create a living soul;for Dialga and Palkia are not living, and none of you has the full makings of asoul. But I was selfish: I worked alone, and now my power is exhausted. No, youshall instead create a living soul: work together, and you shall manage what Idid not. For I was a fool.
“And the threebeings nodded, and they linked their paws in a circle and closed their eyes toconcentrate. And together, they created the perfect being that had a fullliving soul: it had knowledge, will and emotion all in one. It resembled thembut was still different, and the warmth of its heart gave it a light pink colorunlike their cold blue.
“And it openedits eyes, and they were brilliantly blue; and Arceus told it: Welcome to theworld, young soul; I shall call you Mew, and you shall be the Creator. Youshall now be able to create living beings from yourself, for you havecreativity and imagination; and the first you shall create shall be thePreserver who will protect life from evil and destruction, and then you shallcreate many beings like yourself to watch over your creations, while you shallcreate other beings who will be mortal and eventually die. And to the threebeings who had made it he said: Well done, and now I shall entrust you withwatching over Dialga and Palkia for me, for I am exhausted and will now go tosleep.
“And Arceuswent to sleep, and Mew rose up and began to create the Immortals; and the firsthe created he called Celebi, and Celebi could travel through time to help guardlife from evil. And many other Immortals Mew created, and many Mortals hecreated as well, and the Immortals would each watch over a portion of theMortals.
“But theImmortals grew arrogant, and began to rule over the Mortals to make them dotheir bidding. And their selfish thoughts manifested themselves in a being,Darkrai, which injected their malice into Arceus’s dream as he slept. And hewoke up, knowing that a nightmare of such evil could only be born frommalicious feelings, and saw what the Immortals were doing.
“FoolishPokémon! he said: he was angered that they had not known better, and grievedthat they could harbor such emotions, and afraid for what this might mean abouttheir intentions. Were you not created to watch over and help the Mortals, notto enslave them and make yourselves superior to them? With this action, youhave forgone your right to immortality.
“And Arceus’sanger, grief and fear shattered his soul, and they manifested themselves in abeing: Chalenor, the Destroyer, the True Immortal, whom even the Immortalscould not harm. While the soulless and powerless Arceus returned to sleep forall eternity, Chalenor would teach the Immortals that they should have to knowweakness and fear death.
“Chalenor’spresence, expressing the last will of Arceus, would slowly strip all Pokémon oftheir power, bit by bit, and then make them destroy one another until only one wasleft, who would become a new Creator and start the cycle anew. But because theMortals were mortal, the generations passed one by one, and slowly but surelythey grew to resist the draining of their powers; but the Immortals did notevolve and remained as vulnerable as they had ever been: their immortality wastheir curse.
“But theImmortals blamed Chalenor for their fear, and they tried to attack him manytimes; but they would always fail, because Chalenor was a True Immortal.
“So manycycles passed; but when Arceus’s soul had shattered, it had planted a seed of asoul in the depths of the Destroyer’s heart: he began to feel the sufferingthat he brought upon the Immortals, and to long for the company of another, butthe Immortals feared and despised him, and in his eternity of life, the livesof the Mortals seemed to pass as merely a drop of water in an endless stream.
“Chalenor waslonely, as no being since has ever felt loneliness.
“But then, atlast, one of the many incarnations of Mew – for the Creator’s first work wasalways to honor his predecessor and create another Mew – felt pity forChalenor. They talked and began to understand one another, as no being sincehas understood another being; and Chalenor felt joy and calm and love for thefirst time. But the thousand years that Mew was destined to live passed like abreeze, and though Chalenor wanted to save Mew from the fate of hispredecessors, he was unable to control the effects of his power, and Mew’s strengthwas drained day by day.”
I’m actually kind of impressed with the degree to which this thing is still accurate, for being last edited in 2008; I didn’t think I’d realized Chalenor’s emotive color-changing thing was rooted in being made of Arceus’s out-of-control emotions until later than that. But as the actual events are told in chapter 76, I ditched the bit about Darkrai that didn’t really add much of anything beyond hey look here’s how Darkrai comes into it, there’s more intentionality to Arceus creating Chalenor (the myth makes it sound like Chalenor just sort of happened when his soul shattered, although it does go on to say his presence was “expressing the last will of Arceus”, so it may just be a more mythlike way of saying the same thing), and Mew isn’t literally the first person ever to sympathize with Chalenor because come on, really.
The “and they understood each other MORE THAN ANYONE EVER” is a bit over-the-top too (and not really accurate, actually, what with them each managing to conceal their massive issues from one another), but I think we can chalk that up to the mythical writing.
(But they absolutely were the bestest BFFs.)
(Also why does the myth go on this long. Why does the myth go into Mew and Chalenor’s personal relationship and not just stop at Chalenor developing a soul. I guess the reason I cut it off so abruptly there was that I realized oh whoops this myth shouldn’t actually be going this far along the timeline at all, this is One-Shot B material now, let’s stop.)

What is it like, in those final moments before you destroy? How did it feel?
Tumblr media
Nothing he’s ever experienced in his life compares to the feeling in those seconds.
It’s as if time slows (or perhaps, that is the doing of DIALGA), each second drawn out to allow him to consider everything with one last breath– one last chance to turn back! —Before the button is pressed and the universe (this disgusting WRETCHED, filthy thing!) is reset. Everything is clear like crystal.
Any outsider would see the following three scenarios:
1. Precious gods, subdued in his chains. Palkia and Dialga fix him with a look of utter LOATHING! demanding their release. He does not answer. They are nothing now. Their power is his, and it flows through his fingertips like adrenaline. Nobody can touch him. Time and Space are his to control.
2. A sea of hopeful faces. Galactic stares at their Leader in awe, anxiously awaiting to be brought into Eden. The poor fools do not realize that they have been weighed, measured, and found WANTING. That is fine, the gift to them for their service will be ignorant bliss. They will disappear and they will never awaken. Everything must start anew.
3. A man, standing and commanding. All his to subdue, and it will be made right. the world has been crying for him, the blood of the innocents who have been slain by greed and cruelty crying like a child for their mother. He hears your voice, Abel. He will make you whole again. The people of this world need him, though they rejected him.
He is their MESSIAH.
And though he sees all these things, Cyrus is, for once, devoid of inner conflict. The path is clear. The future certain. For once he has made himself the gold winner, no longer silver. He is first. He has overcome. What would his parents think if they could see him now?
It’s okay. Here, at the peak of Mount Coronet, he absolves them of their sins. Everyone is forgiven.
He does not turn back before clenching his fists, inwardly willing the collapse of the universe. It is not slow or painful but is instead surprisingly quick. Just like that, the timeline is reset. He stands in darkness, the SUN in the void. There is complete and utter silence. There is a slight chill. He is blissfully numb, no remnant of spirit inside him, crushed with the Old World. He is Holy. He is Alone.
This is Perfection.
Into the nothingness, Cyrus exhales his first command.

Origin Science Theater 3000: Chapter 2
Chapter One | source material | Chapter Three
Here we go again!
Chapter 2: Judgment
Arceus paced around the living room of the Hall of Origin. The living room was decorated in a tasteful gold and white color scheme, not unlike the colors of Arceus herself.
Arceus: So I not only have a throne but put it in a public room? I don’t need a throne!
"Arc, is there something wrong?" Giratina asked. He was reclining on the couch; the one thing in the room that was not gold and white. Instead the couch had black arm rests, gold cushions and a red back.
Giratina: You get an entire room and I get a couch?
Arceus stopped her pacing. "I'll call a meeting." She then closed her eyes and sent a wave of psychic energy throughout the entire dwelling.
Lugia: Arceus, can you...actually do that?
Arceus: I’ve never tried. You all seem to be able to handle things on your own without me stepping in most of the time.
Darkrai sat up in his bed as he received the psychic message. He had been sleeping just before the message. He tossed the blankets aside and hovered down to the ground. He looked around the darkened room. All that he saw was the barely visible black dresser with a statuette on it. The statuette was a perfect image of Darkrai himself, right down to the glowing blue eye.
Groudon: Whoa. Jarring scene change is jarring. And why does that creep have a statue of himself?
"Someone's watching me," he muttered. He then peeked under the bed and saw two magenta eyes staring back at him.
Latias: (singing) I always feel like somebody’s watchin’ me~ And I have no privacy, whoa-oh~ I always feel like somebody’s watchin’ me~ Tell me, is it just a dream?
Latios: Not now, sis.
"Cresselia, I know you're there. Get out from under my bed," Darkrai said, pointing to the door.
Cresselia, floated out from under the bed. "Fine," she replied. "I just wanted to ask when we can go out together."
Kyogre: That’s just not right. There is no possible dimension where that could be right.
(Palkia coughs pointedly.)
Giratina: I warned you. *munches popcorn*
Dialga: NO YOU DIDN’T.
"For the last time, I will not go out with you! Get out of my room!" Darkrai shouted.
"Fine. In any case, I have to because Arceus is holding a meeting," Cresselia said. She then floated out of Darkrai's room, leaving him alone with the statuette.
Darkrai sighed. "At least she didn't try to steal my statuette like she did last time," he muttered. He then petted the statuette as he floated out of the room.
Groudon: Yeesh. Somehow the author made him even creepier.
Dialga was lying on Lugia's bed and staring at the wall. Lugia's bedroom was decorated in a unique combination of white, silver and dark blue. A blue and white dresser rested against one wall and several paintings were plastered on the walls. Lugia himself was painting something in the corner opposite the bed.
Lugia: That sounds perfect!
Dialga: I COULD HAVE DONE WITHOUT THE WHIPLASH.
"WHY DID PALKIA HAVE TO DO HIS SCULPTING INSIDE OUR ROOM?" Dialga asked with a sigh.
Palkia: I WASN’T AWARE HUMANS THOUGHT OF HOBBIES FOR US.
"Can you talk normally?" Lugia responded without taking his eyes off his canvas.
"BUT THIS IS THE WAY I ALWAYS TALK." Dialga responded.
"Well, your normal voice is too loud!"
"TOO BAD. I CAN'T CONTROL IT."
(Laughter all around.)
Lugia sighed. "Then how about saying nothing at all?"
"FINE," Dialga responded. He then got up from the bed and peered over Lugia's shoulder.
"WHAT ARE YOU PAINTING?"
"A recollection of the time when 'The Chosen One' and I had to prevent Zapdos, Moltres and Articuno from destroying the world. When will those three learn that even gods cannot do as they please? You should have seen how mad Arceus was at them."
Lugia: If I ever talk like that, please, hit me with something heavy.
Several minutes later, Lugia had finished and framed his painting. He then looked at Dialga. "Do you always sound like you're talking in all capital letters?" Lugia asked.
"YES," Dialga replied.
Dialga: HEY, THE AUTHOR MADE THAT JOKE ALREADY.
Lugia facepalmed. "In any case, I can hear Arceus calling us for a meeting," he said, flying out of his room.
Arceus: Wait a minute. If we assume that Lugia was painting at the same time Darkrai got “my” psychic message, wouldn’t he and Dialga have gotten it at the same time, too? I may be a Normal-type, but I know how Psychic energy works.
Dialga then followed him out to the hall. The hallway was unremarkable save for the wallpaper.
Dialga glanced at the wallpaper in disgust. "WHY CAN'T WE HAVE A PLAIN SILVER AND BLUE WALLPAPER? THE FLOWERS ON IT ARE NASTY," Dialga commented.
Giratina: Wait, what?
"Blame Shaymin for it. She's the one who picked it out. And we're lucky Arceus drew the line at the wallpaper or else we'd have gracidea flowers everywhere," Lugia replied
Giratina: Oh.
Lugia: Why would Arceus even have wallpaper?
"Don't like the wallpaper, eh?" a voice said.
Dialga and Lugia looked around the hallway. All that was visible were the silver light fixtures on the wall and a large black spot on the dark blue carpet
Latios: And the wallpaper. Don’t forget the wallpaper.
"WHO ARE YOU?" Dialga demanded.
"Dialga, Lugia, you should know who I am," the voice responded. Darkrai then rose out of the floor in front of the two.
Giratina: Strange. I’d thought Darkrai would hold a grudge against Dialga because of the Alamos Town incident.
Dialga: (facehooves) THAT WAS THE WORST MISUNDERSTANDING IN THE HISTORY OF MISUNDERSTANDINGS.
Palkia: AGREED.
"SHOULDN'T YOU BE AT THE MEETING?"
"I was on my way there," Darkrai responded, "But since I overheard you talking about the wallpaper, I thought I'd listen in. Having the ability to sink in and out of the ground at will allows you hear a lot of things. Did you know that Mew still…"
"In any case, let's continue," Lugia said, cutting Darkrai off.
Kyogre: I guess we weren’t meant to know Mew’s dirty little secret anyway.
The group then continued down the hall into the living room.
Lugia, Dialga and Darkrai arrived at the living room just in time to see all the Legendaries gathered in front of Arceus's throne. Except Giratina, he had not moved from his couch.
Arceus: See? Instantaneous Psychic energy.
Arceus hovered just above her throne. Her empty bowl of tortilla chips was still by her feet. In front of her sat all the Legendaries with the exception of Mewtwo, Ho-Oh and Deoxys. All of them chattered amongst themselves while they waited for Arceus to speak. After a few moments, Arceus raised one of her forelegs to signal for silence.
Lugia: Oh, come on, Ho-Oh’s not that busy.
Palkia: NEITHER ARE YOU. ALSO, THE AUTHOR REPEATED THEMSELVES AGAIN.
"As you are all aware, the recreation room and some of the surrounding area has been completely destroyed, thanks to Groudon and Kyogre fighting over some inane reason," Arceus said.
"I propose we exile them from the Hall of Origins for a millennium. This sort of behavior will not be tolerated," Entei said.
"I second that motion," Suicune added.
"I third that motion," Raiku said.
Kyogre: That’s the second typo in as many chapters. Most of our names aren’t that hard to spell!
Lugia: I knew Entei was the more serious one, but dang. That’s a little excessive.
Latias (slyly): I guess you could say Entei’s kind of a...grumpy cat.
(Good-natured groans all around.)
Arceus nodded. "Okay," she said, "so we've exiled them for a millennium. We don't have to worry about Kyogre and Groudon wrecking anything else. Now the problem remains, we have to fix up the stuff they've damaged. Now is anyone here willing to pay out of their own pocket or work to earn money for the repairs?"
Kyogre: We get money?
Only Lugia and Articuno agreed.
Lugia: To work or to pay for it ourselves?
Arceus looked at the two. "Exactly." she said, "So, any other suggestions?" She then looked over the crowd and spotted Latios raising his arm.
"Yes, Latios?"
"How about we make Groudon and Kyogre work off the damages they caused?" Latios said.
"I second that," Latias said.
"I third that," Darkrai said.
Latias: I’m surprised nobody thought of that sooner.
Arceus thought a moment. "Perfect. Now all we have to do is to wait for Mewtwo, Ho-Oh and Deoxys to finish calculating the damages." She then spotted Jirachi flying above everyone's heads. "Jirachi, please sit down," she ordered.
Lugia: Oh, that’s what Ho-Oh’s up to. OK, cool.
Jirachi floated down to the ground and landed next to Shaymin, who was apparently asleep.
"Hey Shaymin, wake up," he said, prodding the sleeping Legend. It was after repeated prodding that "Shaymin" fell over and broke.
Arceus: Oh my.
Everyone turned their heads at the sound of breaking porcelain and spotted Jirachi hovering next to a broken flowerpot, a mound of dirt and some scattered gracidea flowers
Latios: Interesting. I guess Shaymin’s Land Forme would make a pretty cute flowerpot.
"I MADE THAT AS A GIFT FOR SHAYMIN!" Palkia exclaimed. "DO YOU HAVE ANY CONCEPT OF APPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR?! FIRST, YOU STEAL ARCEUS'S CHIPS THEN YOU BREAK MY FLOWERPOT!"
Palkia: JIRACHI IS A CHILD COMPARED TO US. I SEE NO BENEFIT IN YELLING.
Jirachi sniffled slightly and floated away from Palkia. At the same time, everyone turned and stared at Palkia.
"DISREGARD ME," Palkia said, blushing slightly.
Palkia: NEITHER DOES MY ALTERNATE SELF, APPARENTLY.
Inside the water drenched and battered rec room, Ho-Oh, Mewtwo and Deoxys were examining every nook and cranny.
"East wall shows significant water and impact damage. It will need to be replaced. Furthermore, the door has been completely destroyed. It will also need to be replaced." Mewtwo said, examining the rear wall.
Arceus: This author doesn’t know Mewtwo very well, do they?
He then levitated up to the ceiling and examining the hanging lamp or what was left of it. "The lamp has been obliterated. Palkia will need to be commissioned to make a new one. It should be the same type as the previous one, a red and orange sphere hanging from a gold chain. It should not exceed ten inches in circumference," he said.
Groudon: That sounds pretty cool, actually.
"Got it," Ho-Oh replied. She was busy writing everything down on a clipboard.
Giratina: How? Only...five of us have hands!
Deoxys was examining large hole in the north wall. Latias and Latios's room could be seen through the hole. Deoxys then peered through the hole and chuckled.
"What's so funny?" Mewtwo asked, floating down to ground level.
Lugia: Didn’t anyone teach him it’s rude to snoop?
Arceus: Lugia, think about who you’re talking about there.
"Look for yourself," Deoxys replied.
Latios: Oh, this oughta be good.
Mewtwo stuck his head through the hole in the wall and looked around. The Lati siblings' room was decorated in a red, blue and white color scheme. There were two dressers, two beds and two nightstands. Latios's furniture was blue and white, while his sister's furniture was red and white. His eyes fell on life sized plushies of Latias and Latios, each of them sitting on their respective dressers. He suppressed a chuckle. "Aren't they a little too old to have plushies?" he asked.
Latias: There are plushies of us?
Deoxys shrugged. "What they do isn't our business. They could be screwing each other for all I care."
Latios and Latias: Gross!
Giratina: I’m sorry you had to learn that humans are strange the hard way.
"That was not an image I needed in my head," Mewtwo said with a sigh.
Everyone: Agreed.
"You two! Stop snooping and get back to work!" Ho-Oh snapped.
Deoxys and Mewtwo did as they were told.
Latios: Thank you.
Mewtwo levitated up half a pool table. "Anybody found the other half?" he asked.
Deoxys pointed to a pile of wood and green fabric. "There's the other half," she said.
Arceus: I’m sorry, what? Deoxys doesn’t have a binary gender.
Dialga: NEITHER DO MOST OF US. OBVIOUSLY, THERE ARE LATIOS AND LATIAS, AND I STILL DON’T KNOW ABOUT HEATRAN.
Giratina: Heatran’s a whole subspecies by this point.
"Add that to the shit we need to replace. One regulation size pool table, green felt top, integrated ball storage and integrated chalk holders," Mewtwo said with a sigh.
Ho-Oh wrote that down.
Latios: Wait, what?
Latias: I’ll tell you when you’re older.
Latios: I am older.
Deoxys looked around the room. "I think the pool table's the last thing in here," she said.
"Good, we'd better bring this to Arceus," Ho-Oh said, flying out of the room.
Mewtwo and Deoxys followed her. As soon as they left the room, the large bay window, which was teetering precariously, fell down and shattered with a mighty crash.
Lugia: How does a window fall over, anyway?
Ho-Oh, followed by Deoxys and Mewtwo entered the living room.
"Ah, so you're done calculating the damages?" Arceus asked.
"We are indeed." Ho-Oh replied, "When labor is factored in, the damages come out to roughly 957,500 Poké. And that's not including the stuff that we can't buy."
(Kyogre mimes a spit-take)
Groudon: As the humans say, “Holy shit.”
"Like what?" Giratina asked. He had finally moved off his couch and was now standing next to Dialga.
"Palkia's custom made lamp and…"
Kyogre: (as Ho-Oh) Alternate Groudon’s dignity, such as it is.
Groudon: Are you insulting me?
"GROUDON, KYOGRE! EXPLAIN WHY YOU DESTROYED THE LAMP THAT I MADE AS A GIFT?" Palkia demanded.
Groudon averted her gaze. "Well, a Solarbeam isn't selective. It destroys what it hits. Think of it as my gaze, I can't not look at Ky…"
Groudon: That’s not what averting means. Avoiding, yes. Also, “her”? I’m pretty sure I was male this entire time. Unless it’s talking about you, Palkia?
Palkia: I DOUBT THAT.
"Enough of that." Arceus said sternly, "And Palkia, don't interrupt."
Palkia grumbled but remained silent.
Ho-Oh cleared her throat. "In any case, Palkia's custom made lamp and sculptures along with Lugia's custom wallpaper and carpeting are the irreplaceable items destroyed."
Lugia: I thought they said my hobby was painting.
Arceus nodded. "I have decided the penalty for Groudon and Kyogre. You will have to work off the damages in addition to 250,000 extra Poké. You will be working together as a rescue team under Wigglytuff's Guild." She then looked at Rayquaza. "One other thing, don't think you can help them get over their punishment faster by working in the guild alongside them," she added.
Latios: But Rayquaza’s supposed to keep an eye on you two, right, Kyogre?
Kyogre: If by "keep an eye on” you mean “come down from the heavens to stop us from killing each other.”
"Can we work with the guild if we need some spending money?" Mew asked. He was flitting above everyone's heads.
"Yes. But your earnings will not be counted towards their penalty. And Mew, please spend wisely, Celibi's a little upset that you kept mooching off her for money."
Dialga: NOW THAT’S JUST RUDE.
Giratina: Mooching off Mew or spelling Celebi’s name wrong? Either way, I agree.
"Yes, Arceus," Mew responded with a giggle.
"This meeting is over. I have to speak to Guildmaster Wigglytuff regarding the punishment," Arceus said. She then turned to Regigigas. "Regigigas, please ensure that the Hall of Origins is still standing when I return."
Arceus: There’s only one origin, author. Come on now.
"I WILL DO AS YOU COMMAND," Regigigas said.
The Legendaries dispersed to do their own things as Arceus summoned a swirling blue portal. She then stepped into the portal and vanished.

Top 10 Strongest Legendary Pokemon
1. Arceus
Category: Alpha Type: Normal Ability: Multitype Weakness: Fighting Height: 10′ 6″ Weight: 706 lbs Acclaimed as the first Pokémon to emerge and praise as the god of all, it is said that this Pokémon have created any other Pokémon that ever existed. The only Pokémon that have the "perfect" 120 moves, this is an incredible way to attack Pokémon. Added to this is its useful ability - multitype - the ability to edit any type, depending on the type of plate that is maintained - that pure destruction of wrecks in everything it encounters. Natural for the alpha male. Bad for anyone on their way. - Our win the GOD. Comments: "Arceus has the power of all pokemon he has all of the element stones to protect him from anyone so he can use pokemons moves againest the he can also beat dialga, giratina, palkia and others that get in his way." "Arceus is the stroger than mewtwo really, to me, he is the king of the legendary pokemon, most powerful one. Anyway, I don't think Mewtwo is that strong, I mean yes he can control people's mind but surely if all the people the pokemon (plus legendary) come together and use their attack, they could defeat it. Really, if Mewtwo can do it then we can do it too, nothing such as he can do it no one can." "Arceus sucks." "Arceus has the power of all Pokemon he has all of the element stones to protect him from anyone so he can use Pokemons moves against the he can also beat dialga, giratina, palkia and others that get in his way." "Arceus is the stronger than Mewtwo really, to me, he is the king of the legendary Pokemon, most powerful one. Anyway, I don't think Mewtwo is that strong, I mean yes he can control people's mind but surely if all the people the Pokemon (plus legendary) come together and use their attack, they could defeat it. Really, if Mewtwo can do it then we can do it too, nothing such as he can do it no one can." "Arceus create the universe, the galaxies and the entire Pokemon world. He has all elements. I am not sure Mewtwo is the strongest because arceus emerge from an egg while Mewtwo was created by humans. So its possible that arceus is the most powerful Pokemon ever." 2.Zygrade 100%
Type      Dragon   Ground Species  Order Pokémon Abilitie  Power Construct Pokédex Evolves   into None Gender    Genderless Weight  1344.8 lbs. 610.0 kg Height    14'09"  4.5 m Pokédex color Egg group Green Pokémon X/Pokémon Y legendary Zygarde has been "discovered to have multiple Formes," the Pokémon Company announced.Zygarde is a Dragon/Ground type Pokémon introduced in Generation 6. It is known as the Order Pokémon.Zygarde is a snake-like legendary Pokémon. Its ability Aura Break counters the effects of the abilities of Xerneas and Yveltal. It was later revealed that Zygarde as seen in Pokémon X & Y is in fact an alternate Forme. Zygarde has five different Formes in total: *Zygarde Cell are single cells that make up Zygarde. They cannot use any moves. *Zygarde Core is part of Zygarde's brain, and they are known to take action when the ecosystem changes. *Zygarde 10% Forme occurs when Zygarde Core gathers 10% of the Cells nearby. Capable of travelling over 60mph. *Zygarde 50% Forme occurs when Zygarde Core gathers 50% of the Cells nearby. This is the standard form. *Zygarde Complete Forme is the perfect form, which is more powerful than Xerneas and Yveltal. Zygarde takes this form when the ecosystem is under threat. Comments: "Zygarde 100% form is stronger than mewtwo and its health is just amazing. I'm sure zygarde could at least be the second strongest pokemon after mewtwo. I could prove it by looking up their stats" "I think zygarde will be on no 2 spot" "Well it is confirmed that it is stronger than yveltal and xerneas" 3.Rayqaza
Category: Sky High Type: Flying, Dragon Ability: Air Lock Weakness: Ice, Dragon, Fairy, Rock Height: 23′ 0″ Weight: 455 lbs Taking the gold medal and the title of "legendary Pokémon stronger" is Raquaza. Rayquaza is true that the list would have fallen if not its mega evolution. Mega Rayquaza is a terrifying monster with an offensive attack and a special attack that make it a beast difficult to fight, perhaps even counterproductive. Under a dance of the sword or dragon dance, Mega Rayquaza has enough punch to get their legendary companions in a single wave. What makes things worse (or better depending on your point of view), the ability of Mega Rayquaza - Delta flow - outweighs any weakness to win their type of theft. Comments: "Rayquaza is so awesome alone but mega evolved he is just an absolute destroyer he looks the coolest too he has the highest stats and should be number 1! He has been my favourite since I started playing Pokemon and still is and arceus is not superior to Rayquaza, arceus is important but so are the other legendary Pokemon like dialga and palkia with space and time and groudon with expanding the land arceus couldn't make the universe on his own! If you agree please vote for ray because ray should be first" "Rayquaza is awesome and has an awesome move pool but nobody beats his mega evolution. He should be number 1 because he does have the highest stats and he is stronger than race us so I think rayquaza should be the creator of Pokemon. He is also very cool looking and presents as a powerful asset to your team if you catch him and have him learn the correct moves." "A lot of strong moves dragon/water/fire etc." 4.Mewtwo
Category: Genetic Type: Psychic Ability: Pressure Weakness: Dark, Bug, Ghost Height: 6′ 7″ Weight: 269 lbs A genetically modified with the sole purpose of monster world domination. To achieve these objectives, Mewtwo was obviously gives immense power, which shows in its statistical distribution. In its normal form, Mewtwo shows an affinity for the particular highlighted by its impressive speed. Going to exaggeration, Mewtwo has two mega-trends that raise the DNA spliced be a mythical god. Form X has an enormous physical power, meanwhile, it is Mewtwo and Goku becomes. Comments: "In the actual games, yes, mewtwo is probably stronger. In the anime, no. But dice I value the games more strongly than the anime, mewtwo, I choose you! Also, if mewtwo has the power to control minds, couldn't it just control arceus's mind and make it lose? All these facts combined prove that mewtwo and s actually stronger than arceus. Plus mewtwo can mega evolve, and both of those mega evolutions could easily wreck arceus in an instant. And even if arceus became dark type via the plates, mew two could just control it's mind. Plus, it has survived being stabbed through the chest by deoxys, which makes it pretty hardy. Also, it can wield a giant spoon, which in addition to being just plain awesome (and a ripoff of kadabra, admittedly) it has killed deoxys with it and also shadow (see DEATH BATTLE: MEWTWO VS SHADOW) which also makes it very strong. All this leads up to mewtwo being stronger than arceus." "Before the games diamond, pearl and platinum came out. Mewtwo was the strongest legendary." "Think about it, Mewtwo is a clone of mew, who is the ancestor of ALL pokemon, and mewtwo is just stronger than mew, and if you look at the stats of arceus in actual games or pokemon cards, he generally has better stats and moves." "No the second powerful Pokemon is not mewtwo" 5.Mew
Category: New Species Type: Psychic Ability: Synchronize Weakness: Dark, Bug, Ghost Height: 1′ 4″ Weight: 8.8 lbs Mew (Japanese: ミュウ Myuu) is a Psychic-type Mythical and Legendary Pokémon. Its DNA was cloned in order to create Mewtwo. It can be only be obtained through Pokémon distribution events. Comments: "It is true that mew can transform and learn everything, but that doesn't mean that the stats are the best. You can search up mew's stats, and the stats are not off the chart or something like that." "Mew can transform into ANY Pokemon and also can learn every move. Thus it is the most unpredictable and powerful." "Mew=love mew=life plus mew can transform into any Pokemon mew is the second legendary ash ever saw and mew is just mew" "Cute, powerful, and can learn ANY Move! It's a floating pink cat that can kick ass" 6.Darkrai
Category: Pitch-Black Type: Dark Ability: Bad Dreams Weakness: Bug, Fighting, Fairy Height: 4′ 11″ Weight: 111 lbs Darkrai (Japanese: ダークライ Daakurai) is a Dark-type Mythical Pokémon. Cresselia is Darkrai's counterpart and rival, and together they form the Lunar Duo. A series of our four full scores is Darkrai. This nightmare Pokemon can not have the same brutal violence as its legendary partner, but has a set of trump cards that more than compensate for its shortcomings. Dark Void, combined with the skills of nightmares, is a deadly combination and annoying. Darkrai's signature move - Dark Void - is 100% exactly the putting bag monster opponents, while its ability to reduce the distance inadequate health decreases. This unique exclusive Darkrai strategy is another legend. Comments: "Darkrai in my opinion is the strongest Pokemon (stronger than arceus) because in the movie "The Rise Of Darkrai" he could've easily wrecked dialga and palkia but he didn't do it because dialga and palkia could collide. Besides he protected a city full of people that are mean to him. That's just plain strong." "Darkrai is my favorite Pokemon because dem speed (and also special attack is real good too), and I watched the movie (tears and admiration right there! )" "He is not that strong arceus can kill him in any minute but he is great." "Darkrai can create nightmares" 7. Giratina
Category: Renegade Type: Dragon, Ghost Ability: Pressure Weakness: Dark, Ice, Dragon, Fairy, Ghost Height: 14′ 9″ Weight: 1,654 lbs Giratina (Japanese: ギラティナ Giratina) is a Legendary Ghost/Dragon-type Pokémon. Giratina is the Version Mascot for Pokémon Platinum. It is the rival of Dialga and Palkia. Giratina is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. Created by Ken Sugimori, Giratina first appeared in the video games Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, but gained prominence in the sister game, Pokémon Platinum, which it was made the mascot of. Comments: "I like him especially because he has the power over antimatter just amazing he can defeat Mewtwo for sure he should be number 2." "Come on. It's the second strongest legendary Pokemon (the strongest being arceus) ever." "11 seriously! Should be no.2 it can defeat Mewtwo easily now arceus but mew and mew two kyurem reshiram what's wrong?" "Giratina=680 Base stats plus immunity to fighting and normal plus can survive a moonblast." 8.Xerneas
Category: Life Type: Fairy Ability: Fairy Aura Weakness: Poison, Steel Height: 9′ 10″ Weight: 474 lbs Xerneas (ゼルネアス Zeruneasu) is a Fairy-type Legendary Pokémon introduced in Generation VI. It is the mascot for Pokémon X. It is Yveltal's counterpart. The most powerful and versatile amount of Pokemon tale, Xerneas' attacks makes it a tough competitor. Mono-Typing Fairy has its advantages. Xerneas has a good defense, with only a few weak points, and the most important immunity against the dragon type. With its special attacks Fata Country 33.3% of the aura ability hinders even an offensives power. When its life comes to an end, it releases all of its life energy to every living thing nearby before transforming into a tree to sleep for 1,000 years. Its signature move, Geomancy, takes a turn to charge, but raises its Special Attack, Special Defense, and Speed. A popular move is a Geomancy set with Power Herb as the holding item. Comments: "Xerneas's called the life Pokemon because it can revive Pokemon." "Why Arceus is the strongest Pokemon. Xerneas can defeat Arceus." "Xerneas can totally defeat Arceus."
