Judy Garland (Meet Me In St. Louis, A Star is Born, Summer Stock)— Judy is the GOAT when it comes to classic movie musicals. The voice of an angel who deserved so much better than she got. She can sing she can dance she can act she's a triple threat. Though she had a turbulent personal life (her treatment as a child star by the studio system makes me mad as hell like Louis b Mayer fight me ((she was made to believe that she was physically unattractive by the constant criticism of film executives who made her feel ugly and who manipulated her onscreen appearance by capping her teeth and using discs in her nose to change its shape and Mayer called her "my little hunchback" like imagine hearing that as a child and not having damage)) she always goddamn delivered on screen and in any performance she gave. Starting out in supporting parts especially paired with mickey Rooney in a bunch of films (she's the best part tbh) she eventually transferred to the lead role. She is best known for her starring role in movie musicals like the iconic Wizard of Oz (somewhere over the rainbow still hits hard and is ranked the top film song of all time), meet me in St. Louis (Judy singing have your self a merry little Christmas brings tears to the eyes she is that powerful), the Harvey girls (she looks like a technicolor dream and sings a catchy af song about trains), Easter parade ( dancing and singing with Fred Astaire), for me and my gal, the pirate, and summer stock ( with pal Gene Kelly who she helped when he was starting out and he helped her when she was struggling). But she also does non- singing just as well like the clock ( her first movie where she sings no songs and is an underrated ww2 era romance), her Oscar nominated a star is born ( like the man that got away she put her whole soul in that and I have beef with the fact she lost to grace kelly ((whom I love but like still not even her best work)), and judgement at Nuremberg (a courtroom drama about the nazi war criminal trials). Outside of film she made concert appearances to record-breaking audiences, released 8 studio albums, and had her own Emmy-nominated tv series. She was the youngest (39) and first female recipient of the Cecil B DeMille award for lifetime achievement in the film industry. Girl was a lifelong democrat and was a financial and moral supporter of many causes including the civil rights movement (she was at the March on Washington and held a press conference to protest the 16th street Baptist church bombings). She was a friend of the Kennedy family and would call jfk weekly often ending the calls by singing the first few lines of somewhere over the rainbow (she thought of them as Gemini twins).She was a member of the committee for the first amendment which was formed in response to the HUAC investigations. Though she died far too young and tragically she remains an icon for her work and her life. As a girl who didn't feel like i was as pretty as everyone else I have always felt a connection to Judy and I just really love her.

Natalie Wood (West Side Story, The Great Race)—She went through so much shit which I know can be said for all these women but Natalie really was a star and her death often overshadows her career and life. She could make you cry, but she also had the capacity to be incredibly funny which I think is lost on people.

Her short dark hair looked incredible in just about any style. Have I mentioned her swagger? I can’t do it justice with words. She had swagger. She was funny as hell, and clever too. 5. What's the first song that comes to mind when you think about them?

Jack: Army of Lovers - Obsession

The lyrics, the unhinged video, the 90s trash...it's perfect.

Scott: The Prodigy - We live forever (and a lot of other 90s Prodigy Tracks like Firestarter, No Good or Timezone Bomb )

It reminds me strongly of the chase scene. Could be a perfect alternate music video imo!

Unfortunately, I can't think of anything at all for Suder... any suggestions?

8. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise?

Considering how little fanwork there is, it's hard to say. I really haven't read anything yet that I really despise.

Jack: Maybe Jack taking hard drugs? He's the only one of all the characters who doesn't smoke, neither weed nor cigarettes. He certainly wouldn't have a problem getting his hands on all kinds of pills, but I rather see him eating sweets and junk food all day long. (he should try weed though, dude needs to chill)

Scott: I totally go along with Scott being closeted gay or maybe bi, that fits SO well! But I absolutely can't picture him with Raimi or anyone from the Humanist Alliance. It's a fun crackship tho XD

Lon: Somehow I can't picture him in a former relationship. He gave up his place in civilized life and we know that even among outcasts, the Maquis, he's the odd quiet outsider. He's so off and consumed by his compulsions that he isolates himself and therefore can barely build a real relationship with anyone.

12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?

Jack's signet/logo on his shirt he sprayed everywhere looks very similar to the character in the cartoon loop at the beginning. His drawings, which are scattered all over the place, are quite scruffy, but his technical drawings of Warbeast were very clean and accurate, which means he can actually draw well. Maybe the loops are his own animations? So the mad cartoon scientist is basically his OC. Scott: Scott is quite young for a chief executive (I mean, Richard was 29...) He climbed the career ladder way too quickly and got power and a lot of money very fast. Maybe he didn't always have such a big ego and only became jaded by the industry and became such an asshole. When he's alone, insecurities and worries certainly come through, but he wouldn't show them to anyone.

Lon: I think he was born the way he is. Not necessarily that violent to that extent, but without any telepathic abilities. This cut him off from much communication with other Betazoids and he was also an open book to everyone else. Children his age could read his thoughts, but he couldn't read theirs, and that made him an outsider and despicable weirdo from the start.

22. If you're a fic reader, what's something you like in fics when it comes to this character? Something you don't like?

Jack: His past and probably many years in CHAANKS basement are always an interesting theme to explore, but tbh...just put this weirdo in situations and I'll feel entertained. The strange mixture of a silly cute goofball, dangerous creep and lonely socially awkward genius is what makes him interesting to me and I just like these "wtf is wrong with him?"-moments. Besides that I see him as a switch and obviously kinky AF. He can be really mean and his kink for all kinds of weapons, preferably lethal, is so obvious, but deep down he's also a sub with a mommy kink. I really love him on both sides, but have a slight preference for needy sub-jack.

Scott: He is a slimy asshole with way too much ego and I love it when someone makes him shut up. Verbally, maybe literally. He definitely needs a lesson and I just love the scenes where he's really scared: not a trace of his arrogant attitude left. A bit of backstory and stuff that happened at Chaank pre-canon is also always appreciated!

Lon: Probably the character with the most lost potential. I particularly like stories where he survives and tries to fight his demons. His death was an easy way out of a moral dilemma and I love to read about a possible future on the ship. And of course I like the twisted psychosexual dynamic with Tuvok. I don't see them in a classic romantic relationship, but they both have a very strong fascination for each other and Suder definitely has a crush. After the meld he would do literally -anything- for him. And I'm sure Tuvok is always there to help him control his remaining violent tendencies.

Fuck it, 2am Luke hcs, here we go! (Slight NSFW mention for like two things, but you have been warned!)

Deadass an animation film/series fan and has stayed up late for binges and new releases. No one has probably noticed that bc he usually has at least downed one 1.5 l cola during that and is surprisingly good at hiding being tired. Although... His eyebags usually give it away 🤣 And definitely drags anyone into a new animation movie he's interested in.

Surprisingly he CAN stomach Horror game speedruns, but not playing them himself. So if you want some horror stuff to watch with him, Speedruns from the Crypt in the GDQ Hotfix or just the horror block during speedrun events are your best bet to watch with him. But definitely be prepared to have literally any attempt on fucking him to do nothing. He's too concentrated on the run.

Last part's definitely the same with E-Sport competitions. If EVO or anything similar is on, you can definitely keep those naughty thoughts for at least 5 hours on the back burner. But at least it's even better afterwards.

Definitely too many graphic tees in his wardrobe, especially from games he likes or just some hilarious ones. So you might end up stealing a shirt from a game you don't know or something stupid like a neon pink shirt with Black was sadly sold out print on it or even a GDQ shirt.

Might not really admit it, but no way he wouldn't be a Vocaloid fan. Favorite producer? DIVELA. And definitely made the mistake of going through Beat Syncer and Is there a Heart in it? with translation. He was weeping during those songs (and can admit to that). “Amy, are you A GAY?” I could hear my mother’s Nigerian accent in my head while I was swooning over these photos.  It made me super weak with laughter as I envisioned her being utterly confused about what exactly queer means.

Here’s the thing, Nigerian parents have a way of ignoring things that they don’t want to know the answer to or already know the answer to but don’t want to acknowledge or discuss it.

Before getting “left on read” was a thing on social media or via text, Nigerian parents had already mastered this art.

Curating and maintaining privacy while being explosively socially active is a life skill I should add to my resume. It’s been by choice and design until love happened to me. Like love love.

I’ve fallen deeply in love with a woman. The number of people that reached out and was like, “Amy, so you got married without having a lit ass wedding that we could come turn up at?!!”  The fact y’all know my wedding would be lit af makes my heart burst into champagne bubbles. I love y’all so hard.

Vida Chic Events reached out to me and stated they wanted to capture me and bae in a wedding style shoot at one of the island’s most beautiful beaches with the infamous wedding photographer Jenna Lee. Jenna Lee is almost never available but the universe aligned and she was free on Juneteenth. Crazy right?! Oh the universe.

Chavah Grant, owner of Vida Chic Events, literally coordinated this magical production in approximately 5 days. She told me she wanted to do BLACK gowns, colorful flowers, white sand...I was like, “oh so this is going to be lit lit.” Got it sis.

I called my makeup artist friend Andrea right away and made an appointment for her to come beat our faces to the GAWDS.

So here I was... me and somebody’s daughter, ..somebody’s FINE AF daughter, getting photographed by Jenna Lee, with rings on from The Wedding Ring Shop, gowns from White Hot Hawaii, adorned with flowers from Ocean Dreamerr along a white sand beach on Oahu. A dream...a freaking dream.

I was nervous yet anxious and excited to write this. She deserves for me to love her out loud on Al Gore’s innanet.
