And finally, to cap off the Pokémon protagonist pixel posting, here’s some overworld sprites! Kanto thru Sinnoh are in the Gen 4 style, Unova thru Galar are in Gen 5 style. Ray/Ailey are separated from Elio/Selene, and there’s a couple alt sprites in there.

They’re all based on my headcanon versions of the protagonists, and I might make posts explaining all about them in the future!

Three facts game!!! I'm weirdly giddy to see what happens:

- I am so uncoordinated that the two times I've attempted rollerskating I broke my wrist on the same exact bone near the same spot. I also trip and roll/sprain/twinge my ankles regularly.

- I am both overly sensitive and emotionally numb. I don't know how it works but I'm here for the Rollercoaster. But when I do get in touch with my emotional state it's always 0 to 100. So when I feel I feel 100%.

- I basically grew up on a farm!!! My grandparents' property was connected to ours via a pasture. We've had horses, a goat, so many chickens, a cow, a full garden. They even had orange and grapefruit trees.

FINALLY GETTING TO THE REST OF THESE- first of all. hiiii hi i love u. mwah <3

so i originally wanted to grab a character that i think you didn't know about beforehand, but then i realized that that's kind of a monumental task because you know me so well and have for so long. i mean. we're engaged. BUT.... i think i might have something for ya'. digging WAYYYY back in the archives for a character i honestly do not have any art saved for.

so i made her in a picrew. but anyway: an oc i made wayyyy back in middle school. fiona matthews! (picrew link: [link])

fiona was my first foray into a character archetype i'm not particularly fond of anymore, but i do still have some nostalgia for her. i was originally gonna go into that a bit more, but i'll just sum her up a bit: fiona in her original incarnation was a crime lord who took over the drug ring run by her ex-husband following his mysterious death. she rules it with a cruel smile and an unflinching sort of authority. however, rather than ruling through fear, she commands respect from her underlings by treating them with respect in turn.

as long as they stay loyal to her, she'll do anything for them.

ANYWAY. why am i kin assigning you fiona? i imagine that, though she's often very suave and confident and graceful, she's also clumsy as fuck. she's good at playing it off, but she's tripped and injured herself many times. that's not a particularly good image for a crime lord, though, in her opinion, so she's good at hiding it.

she also grew up in a pretty rural area!!! not on a farm, exactly, but a far cry from the city she lives in as an adult. it's not something she exactly advertises about herself, but it's a big part of her upbringing all the same.

and finally.... i think she'd relate to what you say about feeling numb vs feeling everything 100%. fiona has repressed many of her emotions over the years, but when they do break through, she feels them very intensely.

Whoop! Here I am, getting tagged on my art blog to do an ask game lmao. Thank you @theaceofarrows for tagging me.

Currently Reading:

Murder on the Orient Express, always. It’s a classic, what can I say?

Along with that, I’m always rereading the Six of Crows duology.

Favorite Color:

I’m so basic but I love any shade of blue but most particularly I love this very dark shade of turquoise that I can’t really describe without photos.

I also really like navy blue, gold, and silver.

Last Song I Listened To:

Kyouran Hey Kids!! By the Oral Cigarettes. Sorry, I’m a nerd and I can’t stop imagining my ocs kicking ass to this song. (“Who is the master who calls my favorite name!”)

Last Movie I Watched:

If we’re gonna go with the last movie I actually liked, I would say the Glass Onion. It doesn’t top Knives Out in my heart, unfortunately, but it is immensely good. I could go on a 2 hour long rant about its storytelling and messages.

Sweet/Spicy/Savory:

That’s rough, seeing as I enjoy all three! Gonna have to go with savory though for the fact that I love butter chicken and chicken piccata

Currently working on:

At any given moment, stuff for my ocs (Calem and Lyra my beloveds, you WILL get your spotlight eventually) and at least one DTIYS but the one I’m pouring the most focus into what would be chapter 4 of Serpents and Shadows.
