I never thought I’d see the day that I’d disagree with you but today’s that day. I’m team iron man all the way. I think that Steve has always shown that he’s going to do whatever he wan. I think that he’s the most selfish out of all the avengers and he should’ve snapped in the end. Although I do agree I didn’t like Rhodey since iron man 2 but I think that’s because of Don Cheedle. I feel like he played him annoying and with Terrance Howard the banter felt real and not forced.

I guess both Steve and Tony had the same goals but they had different approaches. Like if they waited on the government for Thanos, would it have been too late because they would have had to wait for permission. But I do understand Tony's want to follow the law.

I hated Rhodey the moment he stole the War Machine suit and he took it straight to the people Tony didn't even want to sell the OG suit specs too and his rival Hammer. I have many arguments with people over that, even though Tony gives it to him in the end, he still stole from someone who considered him a friend. And yes, Don Cheedle is too bland for the relationship between Tony and Rhodey. I don't think he is as diverse of an actor as the rest of the Marvel cast. They all have chemistry but Cheedle looks like he is just thrown in to the mix. Like that one kid who doesn't want to be on a family day out but is forced to.

I’m half tempted to leave the mess every time I clean my keyboard mid post...

I got a nice cover for my keyboard so I can eat at the computer without making the keyboard gross but that’s led to me being less cautious with cheedle fingers and sometimes I come back later, hit a cheedly key and go “oh....” then wipe it down mid post.

Uh......

Anyway.......

I’m tired. But I’m hydrated (water, spicy water, and 1.5 concentrate gatorade from powder) and my stabby kidney didn’t kick up again while I was mowing, so that’s nice.

White Noise (2022) review

The movie won’t be be for everybody, but I personally really enjoyed it!

My only issue with it is that the three chapters don’t feel cohesive with each other plot-wise. Even if you watch it an episodic lens, the chapters (at least the first two) doesn’t feel like it concludes in a satisfying way and, at least initially, feels pointless afterwards. They serve the theme, not the overall plot. Feels “and then this happened”.

Not a criticism, but I personally wished we got to see Jack be a professor more. Disappointed that it was only really shown in the first act.

Things I liked:

Love Cheedle and Driver’s delivery. I loved hearing them talk

I understand if the dialogue sounds pretentious and grating to certain people, but it was exactly my jam

The “quirkiness” works for me

I really like Jack! <3

Adore the music

The cinematography too

The third act being crazy as it is.

TL;DR: Not everyone will like it. In-cohesive plot-wise, but overall a fun ride for me. I had a good time!
