Constantly thinking about the siri joke in murderdrones.

Really shows a lot of the detail going into what can be implied and communicated just from a couple seconds.

Spoilers below(thank god i finally found it out)

The obvious surface level joke is that its a world where robots clearly speak and understand english, but siri still fucking sucks. Then you get a level deeper and realize thats probably the point, what runs a single cockroach really is just a simple program, thats all it was supposed to run, it has AI for very basic things like pathfinding, voice recognition, face recognition,some sort of future RFID(seeing as it scans Uzis face first before scanning her collar),and walking with its legs, but it doesnt have human reasoning like drones do. Then you get a level deeper and get interesting ideas of where the bug can come from and who specifically designed it rather than trusting a drone themself to do it.

I think in general it shows that the story and mystery being made actually has an end goal, so it doesnt fall into the same "Mystery Box" trap. The only real problem is that it can be a bit overwhelming to try and parse the details, and it messes with the pacing to feel faster than it should, but overall the main plot of each episode carries itself well enough that someone who isnt really paying attention can still have a pretty decent time watching the show... well, the first 4 episodes at least, apparently were at the halfway point for season 1. Lets hope the second half keeps the same quality.

I've vaguely mentioned her in a previous post but here's my Welcome Home OC/ Self-C. Her name is Emira. Emira Eagerly. Emi for short. Alike me, she uses all pronouns, (she/he/they), and is genderfluid. Oh! And after realizing her design was alike the Joyfuls, i decided she'd be related to them somehow. Like, first cousin once removed, maybe?.

Anygay, this is just an art/info dump to get her out there, i didn't feel like curating a post to get likes, so yuh.

I'll be using she/her pronouns for Emi only so it doesn't get confusing xd // the green text is kinda like the words i exaggerated while theoretically talking

Ignore the crappy Julie drawing lmao. I made a poopy mini comic about Emi getting a haircut.

I do heavily multiship WH characters. Mostly me multishipping Wally x Julie, Julie x Sally, and Wally having a crush on Eddie (the other characters i ship aren't multiships, just regular ones like Poppy x Howdy and Frank x Eddie). This is all to say that i also multiship Wally alot. And so, i both hc him as pan and ship him with my own OC (and some other peoples' OCs that are really cute). I also hc Wally as having a bit of a preference to guys, sooo, when Emi cut her hair, Wals was like awooga.

And yea, that's basically what the mini comic was. Emi cut her hair and this caused Wally to start crushing a little.

Oh yeah, i kind of had the idea of Wally drawing out the patterns for Emira when she was overwhelmed with ideas and didn't know where to start on an outfit. She'd just waffle about her ideas with Wally. Probably assumed he was drawing an apple or something, but oh? What's this? You drew a whole template for the dress i was rambling on and on about!! Thank you, Wally!

AHHHH i love this drawing!!! Em and Emi, Emira and Emira, she and he, they and they, idc how to describe it, just.. genderfluidness!? And also, the outfits!! I just loved drawing them, I'd hella wear them irl. Especially the belt. I wish i had that 1970s belt irl!! I also loveee how she has longer hair and shorter at some point, meaning i can basically give her any hairstyle i want in my art!! It doesn't have to be consistent (unless it's a comic) - :·)) // this took me about 3hrs. And i barely took any breaks, that's how much i enjoyed drawing her!! Ahhh!!!

I was just looking through Pinterest and got the inspiration!! Well no, not just that. I failed to mention b4 that I'd like to think in the WH Halloween special, Emi attempted to dress up as a biblically accurate angle.. but it scared the kids tm (not actually, it mostly scared Frank) so she changed!! Her alternative costume was a clown!!. - And while, no, i didn't draw her as a biblically accurate angle, i did still make her an angle!! :·)

I do like this drawing, butttt my original sketch was way more expressive than this one. My second sketch was definitely more stiff, however i still went with it bc the first sketch was kinda wonky when flipped. Whoopies!!

i caught eva 3.0+1.0 in theatres a few days ago, it was the second time id seen it and i enjoyed it so much more this time around. i dont really know where to start with my thoughts on it. i think the movie is just meditating on exactly what put me off about the rebuilds, the way it almost feels unethical for these characters to be kept in this sort of static hell for the enjoyment of a ravenous audience who will always be begging for more. lots of feelings about the way some series just go on forever and ever, how characters can gradually rot from the inside out. and everything great about it turns into audiovisual noise. great art is twisted into something hallow. a walking corpse. the men in the story (and the men in evangelion's audience) are desperately looking for the love and understanding of idealized feminine figures. rei is a sister, mother, daughter and lover at the same time to different people. men seek and create endless replacable female bodies to fill their needs, but its never enough to fill that emptiness. the characters are aware of this, the way theyre seen, whats expected of them at this point. asuka knows full well whats going on and shes just fucking fed up with it all at this point. the curse of being kept like this to satisfy the needs of others is unimaginably awful. keeping them trapped at this singular point as their friends grow up and move on to have happy lives. i think the message at the end is just that these characters will grow with you if you let them. that its pointless to search for what you really need in evangelion. namely, genuine love for yourself and from others. the characters arent real, they cant age, they cant live real lives, but you can! thats what i took from it anyway (MARI TRUTHER SECTION DONT READ THIS PART ITS GENUINE NONSENSE) ok but can we talk about mari please. please. mari is my favorite fucking thing they added to these movies i cant believe shes actually in this thing its both deeply funny in a way and kind of baffling. i didnt really touch on her in my thoughts but trust me, she weighs heavily on them. im just still a little bit bamboozled as to how she fits into all of it. really, my best guess right now is that she's in here only so asuka and rei can have their arcs finally closed for good, and so she can represent the sort of weird sexual obsession people have with the girls in eva. honestly i think if you genuinely want to fuck rei from evangelion you need to sit down and like think for a few hours about, like, everything. you need to rethink everything. but people do and i mean, if what you take away from evangelion is some weird fucked up fetish then i guess thats fine. she's there to say "uh... if you really wanna have sex with a girl with huge boobs and glasses, go out there and do it man. more power to you." and i guess that could probably be a strong message for some people to log off and go outside, touch grass if you will. meet hot girls. its possible if you try. i still love mari i think its so funny that she exists, i have a figure of her on my desk, i love mari. also what the fuck is with her being in gendohs family photos theres more to her i just cant put my finger on it. please, if you have any mari film theories that encompass shit i cant currently comprehend just let me know im desperate ok

As promised, here is the first of many theories (or Crazed Ramblings, as I like to call them):

V IS NOT DEAD

As the title says, in this theory I'm gonna talk about my reasonings as to why V is not dead (and if the sentinels do manage to kill her, she won't be dead for long):

The first thing that I wanna bring up is the fact that it is explicitly told to us by J in Episode 6 that, and I quote;

'Effective drones were cloned more.'

While this could be tagged as random Disassembly Drone lore, this line gains more strenght in the theory when looking at V's Animatez box:

In it, she's described as 'violently effective'. This brings up the huge possiblity that, even if she *does* die due to the sentinels, V could come back.

But if this is not enough for y'all then alright...

LET'S TALK ABOUT THE SYMBOLISM BEHIND HER ACRYLIC STAND:

Already the official title for the acrylic stand gives us clues.

At this point I wanna remind y'all that Glitch has a very known tendency of leaving lore clues in not their social media, but in their merch as well.

Now back onto the topic:

Focus on that phrase; 'Angel of Death'

In many forms of media, such as fiction, art, mythology, and religion, an 'Angel of Death' is the personification of death (like how the Grim Reaper is one). They bring death to others at their appointed time. 

There's also the extensive religious connection said title has, and the fact that the season finale of Murder Drones is gonna take place in a LITERAL CATHEDRAL gives this theory even MORE strenght.

We also have to bring up the fact that Disassembly Drones are VERY difficult to kill, and, even if the DD is killed, the Absolute Solver protocol can still bring them back (as an Eldrich abomination) by collecting material. And even IF you manage to kill that, you also have to destroy the core, that weird sentient spider alien thing. N LITERALLY HAD TO STAB IT SEVERAL TIMES FOR IT TO FINALLY IMPLODE.

If V DOES die, she'll most likely enter Absolute Solver protocol, become Eldrich, and kill the sentinels to collect their material.

TLDR: Clones, symbolism, and Eldrich terror.

Okay, so my take on it is that if they're already dating before the kidnapping, Al can never get Finney alone and that's why he ends up grabbing the two boys at the same time. (Stay with me here!)

When it all goes down, of course Robin is the one that fights the hardest. Al figured that the boy was the stronger of the two, so he had lured Robin in first to be dealt with easier. Finney, on the other hand, is frozen in fear for a second but soon snaps out of it and tries his hardest to get Al off of his best friend. His boyfriend. Robin would do the same for him. This, of course, doesn't work and they both end up getting knocked out and shoved into the back of Al's van anyway.

Only when Al finally has the boys down in his basement does he realize that they're not just best friends like he had previously assumed. Even in his half delirious state, Robin is yelling and kicking, doing his best to keep The Grabber away from Finney. Al knows that (especially in this state) Robin can't really do too much damage, so he ignores his "tantrum" for now. I like to imagine that the scene when Al reaches out and touches Finney's hair still happens but now Robin is there trying to get in between them to block Finney off with his body.

Robin probably says something along the lines of, "If you even think about touching Finney, I'm going to rip your fucking throat out, old man." Al only chuckles at this. He knows that Finney already belongs to him; what is this snot-nosed brat going to do?

He's angry at his own oversight when one day as he's bringing down two matching trays of scrambled eggs and lemon-lime soda, the Arellano boy is right behind the door waiting with a broken tile piece in one hand. All is not lost, however. That's also the day the man figures out the best way to get what he wants out of his darling Finney.

Finney is weak. Weaker than Robin, at least. Both physically and mentally weaker. Easier to manipulate. Al knows just how to handle this.

As soon as Al is able to regain his footing and restrain Robin in his arms, a slash in his right forearm mirroring the one Finney had given him on the first day, he thinks of the perfect strategy. Use Finney's biggest weakness against him. At that moment, Al takes out the pocketknife that he'd been concealing in the back pocket of his pants and holds it up against Robin's neck. He's staring directly at Finney as he does so.

Finney's chocolate brown eyes are already brimming with tears threatening to pour down his cheeks. Within mere seconds he's begging The Grabber to let his friend go. He's sorry, Robin didn't mean it. They'll be good, he promises!

"Good, huh? You want to be a good boy for me, now?"

When Finney doesn't respond right away, Al starts to dig the blade into Robin's throat, causing a shallow cut to form. At Robin's hiss of pain, Finney's resolve crumbles. He can't just let this man hurt Robin!

"Yes! Please, mister! I-", he doesn't want to say the words, they make him feel gross, but the panicked look in Robin's eyes only spur him into finishing, "I'll be a good boy, please let him go! Please!"

Hearing those words come out of his love's mouth makes Al's grip loosen and allows the other boy in his arms to dart away. Instead of cowering somewhere, however, Robin only runs to Finney's side. He's quick to usher the smaller boy behind him, holding a hand up to his own neck to stop the slow trickle of blood. Al can see how Finney grips at the back of Robin's shirt. It makes his blood boil. That should be him. Only he's worthy enough to protect HIS precious boy.

Without another word, Al leaves shortly after. He'll have to see just how good of a boy Finney is willing to be to protect his little "boyfriend".

This single encounter only spurs on more and more incidents. After a while, Al is able to get Finney to do just about anything for him if it means that he won't harm Robin. Robin, of course, absolutely hates every second of it. It's too bad. He knows that Al is the only one in control here; all the boy can do is sit back and watch.

Robin is forced to watch as this disgusting old man touches Finney in every way that no one other than him is supposed to. He watches at first as The Grabber makes Finney sit in his lap. This then turns into Finney being made to straddle the man's lap and kiss him. The kissing turns into Al grabbing onto Finney's hips and making him grind down against his thighs or even the obvious erection beneath his pants.

At first, it's obvious that Finney hates it. The poor boy even cries for the first handful of times, struggles against The Grabber's hold, only to settle down once Robin's life gets threatened in a little too much detail. Al tells Finney to be good and do as he's told OR ELSE. The boy doesn't want to know what that means so he continues to comply.

Then, the constant humping and kissing turns into more. Al is demanding more more more from Finney every time he comes down and it makes Robin sick. He hates that he can't do anything about it. He needs to find a way to save Finney from this sick fuck. (Unbeknownst to Finney, Al also threatens Robin with the rather graphic harm that would befall him should he try to interfere with their "little game", as the man calls it.)

After a while, Finney is calling The Grabber "Al" and Robin is fucking livid. Finney doesn't even try to pretend like he hates the man's touch anymore. As the man barges in and banishes Robin to sit in the corner of the cold concrete basement, Finney practically skips right over to him. Al's arms immediately wrap around Finney's waist as he leans down to give the boy a long kiss. Robin's stomach churns in disgust.

Robin is forced then to watch as The Grabber pushes Finney down onto the dirty mattress bolted to the floor. He gropes and kisses Finney, Robin's boyfriend, wherever the hell he wants. Al's hands wander all over Finney's body, his mouth pressed into the crook of the young boy's slender neck. Finney is already moaning; Robin tries his best to block it out. That's not his Finney. Finney would never let someone like that touch him in such a way. Finney would never ACT like this.

But still, the night continues as it always does. Al strips Finney of his clothes, calling him his good boy all the while. Robin can tell that the words only make Finney feel embarrassed, happy even. Not utterly distraught and confused like they did in the beginning. Finney has started smiling at the man recently. The boy smiles as Al kisses him, smiles as the man's large fingers play with his nipples and stroke over his tiny cock. Finney smiles and whines when Al preps him with whatever lube he brought this time and then smiles even more as the man fucks him.

What the hell did this disgusting fucking pervert do to Robin's best friend? WHY is Finney just letting Al do all these things to him? When did the light vanish from his eyes?

Robin can do nothing but hold back tears as he watches and watches and watches the only person he's ever loved moan and writhe underneath a killer.

The Second Doctor:

I don't even know how to start talking about how much I love this man and his time as the Doctor. He is just phenomenal. It makes me so sad that he is the Doctor with the most missing episodes, saying that even though he has so many episodes missing, he still managed to become my favourite. I will always look back at his seasons happy, and I'd happily rewatch them over and over.

Another thing I love about the second Doctor is his companions, every one of them perfect. Polly and Ben make me so happy, I love them, and the fact they stay together forever makes me so so happy! And Jamie, honestly what would I do without Jamie Mccrimmon, knowing his exists as a character is the best feeling. I don't think I've loved a character as much, and watching him with the doctor makes me laugh, they're so goofy together.

I love Victoria and Zoe, they're brilliant, different yet they bring so much to the episodes they're in. I was unsure about Zoe at first, but she became one of my favourite companions ever.

I was so sad when 2 regenerated into 3. I still don't think I've healed. I just hope 2nd's episodes are found, I'd give anything to watch them.

So now that we at long last have Summer’s actual design, I can finally ask this question with absolute certainty and no ambiguous context:

Why did CRWBY give Ruby, Summer AND Raven the SAME THREE COLORS?

And less relevant due to development lag and Summer’s outfit clearly having been designed/finalized much later, but still an interesting detail:

In hindsight, Ruby’s Volume 1 look is basically the design of Summer’s outfit... with RAVEN’S predominantly red/black color scheme.
