Okay your all getting my xyz future headcannons now because I’m super excited
So Serena and Calem are like siblings
Serena is champion and Calem has continued Augustine’s research on mega evolution seeing if there are more pokèmon who can actually mega evolve
Calem challenges Serena on a monthly basis when he gets bored
She continues to beat his ass (although it’s neck and neck every time though)
Shauna and Serena are engaged
They’ve been together for about 4 years now
Trevor and Tierno are married - been together for 7 years
Calem is still single (he will eventually find the one dw his bi ass will fall in love)
Shauna is the reigning Kalos Queen and know to most as a top coordinator
She also does furfrou trimming in her spare time
Trevor is a science teacher in santalune city whilst Tierno teaches dance at the same school
Viola and Grant are married (one of the first in the league to get married)
Alexa actually took over her sister as the gym leader when she retired early
Viola now just freelances her way through life and enjoy every second of being a bug momma
Grant is still a gym leader and has won plenty of competitions for his climbing
Ramos has fully retired and is living his best life on a farm somewhere in Kalos I like to think
Korrina eventually becomes one of the elite four
She’s won plenty of medals for her rollerblading as well
She’s also starting up her own little tournaments for trainers who want to get stronger
Valerie continues to design, becoming well known across the poke world which means she ends up travelling loads
Bonnie takes over Clemont’s gym when he ends up moving to Kanto for university
Drasna and Olympia are happily married and are living together in Anistar citywith their adopted daughter Marie (she’s in her 20s!)
Wulfric retired and his family live with him in snowbelle his eldest Lucille took up his mantle as gym leader
Siebold retired to travel the world for inspiration (hence why Korrina stepped up to fill his shoes)
Wikstrom now lives in Laverre city with his husband and son (who’ll take on his role when wikstrom believes he’s ready!)
Malva now resides in Santalune city, she’s vibing really no one knows what’s the fuck it is she does but she causes chaos still
Her neice Magda has been staying with her though
Diantha has become a very popular writer, her fantasy series is one of the best selling books
She also directs films from time to time
Augustine is chilling in alola for a while no one in the league knows if he’ll come back
He sends postcards to everyone though, they love him for it

Who's descended of who in ScarVi: A List
I wanted to add more, but alas, I can only include 10 images.
Eri -> Ingo or Emmet(more likely Emmet)
She has the same white hair, piercing white eyes, eye shape, and lack of eyebrows. Her white color scheme makes me thing she might be Emmet's daughter though. She's also tall, and would be about the right age to be his daughter. However, I could also see her being Ingo's daughter that they sent off to boarding school after he disappeared and there was nobody to look after her.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Giacomo -> Wikstrom and/or Grimsley
He'd be a little young to be their son, but I could see it happening. Or, he could be their grandson. In his original fight, both his pokémon are dark/steel(one of them being pawniard). He's got hair that's partway between Grimsley's and Wikstrom's though black like Grimsley. He has Wikstrom's eyes and eyebrows. His attitude pre-Team Star is also quite similar to Wikstrom's, while mid/post-Team Star it's more akin to Grimsley's.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Atticus -> Beni
It's stated outright that he's descended of ninjas. I can't find a picture, but when he takes off his hood he has hair about the same color as Beni's. This would make him a distant cousin to Wally and Koga/Janine as well.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Brassius -> Hubert von Vestra

Need I say more?

Fixing Kalos gym leaders & elite 4
It's no secret that Pokemon X and Y are very easy games and part of the reason is that the bosses are pretty underwhelming. So as a thought experiment, I decided to examine how to power them up my upgrading their teams. I think that the gym leaders should showcase the new Pokemon and gimmicks of their region, so I'll be taking that into account. I also want all the leavers and E4 to have a proper 6-member postgame rematch team so I'll be doing those too. I will be restricting my choices of Pokemon to those available in X and Y.
First is Viola, the bug-type leader. 2 Pokemon is a good team size for a first gym leader as they're the introduction to gyms for new players. I think Viola's team is alright for a first gym. Surskit prevents you from sweeping with a fire-type (possibly the first and only time in the franchise a Surskit has been useful) and Vivillon to showcase the regional bug is good. If you want to upgrade her, swapping Surskit for Dwebble would serve the same purpose, but arguably be better at it. It could also have a ground-type move to keep players from sweeping with Pikachu. For her rematch team she can keep Vivillon, but will not be keeping Masquerain as two mediocre bug-flying types is not great for a rematch team. Her rematch team will be Vivillon, Crustle (who can set up stealth rocks to counter flying types), Escavalier (as a good bug/steel type who gets overshadowed by Scizor), Heracross, Scolipede, and Mega Pinsir. By the postgame, all the rematch teams can safely have a mega-evolving ace.
Next is Grant, the rock-type leader. His team is really cool with it being the two Kalos fossils. Two members is a bit weak given how long you have to play to get to his gym, so he'll get a third member. In keeping with the fossil theme, this third Pokemon will be Aerodactyl, who is also available to players by this point in the game. His postgame team will be Auroros, Tyrantrum, Aggron, Barbaracle (to counter ground-types), Tyranitar, and Mega Aerodactyl.
The third gym leader is Korrina the fighting-type leader. Her in-game team is notorious for being sweepable by any ghost type as only her Machoke has a move that isn't either normal or fighting type. That needs to change. Her Hawlucha can stay, but I'm swapping her Machoke out for a Pangoro to counter ghosts and to showcase a gen VI fighting-type. Her ace will be a mega-evolving Lucario. This fits with the story as Korrina is the one who introduces the player to mega evolution and streamlines the game by having her show mega evolution to you in her gym battle instead of a separate battle that is incredibly easy to win. Her rematch team will be Hawlucha, Pangoro, Toxicroak, No Guard Machoke, Pure Power Medicham, and Mega Lucario.
Next is Ramos, the grass-type leader. At this point I'm going to ignore the fact that X and Y only let gym leaders have 3 Pokemon. By this point in the game, players can handle more of a challenge. I'm going to evolve his Weepinell to Victreebel and have it act as a poison spikes and leech seed setter. Then he'll have Trevenant, Ludicolo (to counter fire-types), and his ace will be Mega Venusaur. His rematch team will be Victreebel, Ferrothorn, Ludicolo, Rotom Mow, Chesnaught, and Mega Venusaur.
Clemont, the electric-type leader is next. I think his canon team isn't that bad. I'll keep Magneton and Heliolisk, swap his Emolga for a Lanturn, and his ace will be Mega Ampharos. For his rematch team he will have Magnezone, Heliolisk, Lanturn, a Rotom that will change type randomly each rematch, Jolteon, and Mega Ampharos.
Valarie was pretty lame for being the gym leader to showcase the brand-new fairy type. Let's fix that. She can keep Mr. Mime and lead with it to set up screens. She can also keep Sylveon as it was the face of the fairy type. Then she'll have Florges and her ace will be Mega Mawile. Her rematch team will be Mr. Mime, Sylveon, Florges, Huge Power Azumarill, Klefki, and Mega Mawile.
The Psychic-type leader Olymoia has a really cool gym design, but she's no Sabrina in terms of difficulty. She can keep her Sigilyph, but the rest of her team will change. She will have Contrary Malamar, Alakazam, and Mega Medicham. Her rematch team will be Contrary Malamar, Gardevoir, Alakazam, Starmie, Sigilyph, and Mega Medicham.
Ice as a late-game gym leader tye is always a hard sell and Wulfric is no Candice. I'm going to increase his team to five and give him Cloyster, Mamoswine, Weavile, Avalugg, and mega Abomasnow. His rematch team will add Jynx to that lineup.
The elite four will all have their teams increase to five members and will all get a mega evolution for their ace.
Malva's team is not bad, but it could be better. She can keep her Torkoal and have it use Sunny day for setup (Torkaol didn't get Drought as an ability yet) and she can keep her Chandelure and get Gale Wings on her Talonflame. Her team will then include Rotom heat and Mega Charizard X. Her rematch team will add a Delphox to all that.
Siebold is probably the only really challenging member of the Kalos E4. I also really like the theme of edible animals in his team and want to keep that around, so the only change I'll make is adding a Mega Blastoise as his ace for a final team of Clawitzer, Starmia, Barbaracle, Gyarados, and Blastoise. His rematch team will then get a Greninja.
Wikstrom's team is also pretty good. I'll swap his Probopass out for a Bisharp and give him Mega Aggron. I will swap his Aegislash for Magnezone as I'm going to use Aegislash later and don't want to double-up for the E4. His final team is Klefki, Bisharp, Scizor, Magnezone, and Aggron. His rematch team will give him back Aegislash.
Drasna's team doesn't need much work either. I'll swap her Altaria for a Kingdra and Druddigon for Haxorus, Keep Dragalge and Noivern, and give her Mega Garchomp as an ace. Her rematch team will add Salamence.
Diantha was infamous as one of the weaker champions until Geeta came along. I do like that most of her team are new Pokemon and will keep that in mind. Her Mega Gardevoir ace can stay, as can Goodra and Hawlucha. From there I'll add Contrary Malamar and Aegislash. As for her 6th team member, I might cheat a bit and give her Zygarde 10% form. The Zygarde 10 and 100% forms didn't debut in the games until gen VII, but their appearance in the anime showed that they were already planned out and likely would have showed up in the cancelled Pokemon Z. This could be the player's first introduction to Zygarge and could lead into a postgame sidequest to get Zygarge 50% with Diantha's help. If you don't want to use Zygarde 10%, then Greninja would also work.
Let me know what you thought of these revised teams. I may also do this for some other generations (I have thoughts about a revised Geeta team)

As someone who has just beaten the Pokémon X elite four.
What’s funny about the kalos elite four is that.
Despite them being seen as one of the weakest elite four, each of them have Pokemons that require you to prepare for them.
Case and point :
Malva has her Talonflame which is problematic since ground types doesn’t affect it. And if like me, you don’t have a electric type and instead have a HM Surf Pangoro. That flying type sucks.
Drasna has her Dragalge that can tear through fairy types due to its poison typing. And even if you use a Garchomp (like me), the poison status effect is no joke.
Siebold has his Gyrados and Barbaracle. His Barbaracle is a problem due to its ground type moves (even for my Venusaur). But if you don’t have an electric type, his Gyrados is a nightmare. It knows dragon dance, and it took me 1 sleep powder and 5 vine whip from my Mega-Venusaur in order to K-O it.
And finally, Wikstrom. His Klefki and Aegislash are a nightmare. If you are an idiot like me who uses a Pangoro against him, Klefki’s fairy typing hits like a truck and Pangoro’s fighting type moves don’t affect Aegislash (who knows a fighting type move btw). My only other option was Delphox who I forgot to use for Klefki and didn’t want to risk due to Aegislash’s ghost typing. Delphox is really good against his Scizor and Pangoro against his Probopass however.
Of course, all of them pale against the mighty power of Over-Leveled pokemons.

And E4 done.
I was kinda nervous of Siebold since his Gyarados knows Ice Fang (I mean, the Freeze/Flinch chance is slightly but still) but he went with Dragon Dance instead. Drasna ended up being the worst of the lot, landing Sing and then getting unlucky with Outrage's confusion chance since I forgot to sub in Dragon Claw for Earthquake before challenging her. (Ended up having to use a Full Restore. I generally try not using healing items, but fuck hax screwing me over.)
Also, it always disappointed me none of these guys have Megas. (At least the anime gave them all Megas, but they could have given them an extra Pokemon each that could Mega.) It's literally ONLY the Korrina battle, the last fight with Lysandre, the battle with Diantha, and the Kiloude final rival battle. It's especially noticeable when every other boss Trainer in the coming Gen games use their gimmicks while fighting you. The Kahunas use Z-moves, the Gym Leaders all use Gigantamax and Terastal, Megas feel very underused.
They just totally lose any actual relevance after the first 3 Gyms storywise too, tho I feel they could have done something with Mega Stones and Flare since Lysandre mentioned he wanted to use Mega Evolution when you, him, and Sycamore met in his Cafe? 🤔
