Yes, and for reasons other than his eyes.

His skin and hair color are extremely similar, if not the exact same, as a Sev'ral Timez clone.

Gabe is musically talented and good at drawing an audience with his voice.

He also frequently harmonizes with the children he's singing to.

He has an interest in performing.

As for differences which could point to him being a former member (whether he escaped or was kicked out), there's also

Whereas Sev'ral Timez is built for loud crowd appeal, Gabe seems to prefer a quieter audience (such as the children at the library).

Gabe is heavily associated with black, whereas Sev'ral Timez all wears white.

While Sev'ral Timez is designed specifically to be a boy band, Gabe is most often seen performing by himself.

Also, his preference is towards an art form he specifically says he feels is misunderstood.

The "top prospects" group in that pic/from today is so strange to me. The michkov erasure at the combine already felt noticeable (and I get he has been busy since getting to america) but now they're also missing leo (who maybe was supposed to be there but his flight was cancelled) and reinbacher?!

Is it really top prospects when this group of 8 is missing potentially 3 of the actual top 8?

i assume michkov is excused from general PR activities because a lot of teams want to meet with him in a very short time frame and that takes priority over general gladhanding, so i wouldn't necessarily read anything into his absence. leo carlsson did indeed miss this event because of flight issues. idk about reinbacher, maybe the nhl really does think this is a strong year for forwards. seems like reinbacher's only predicted to go top 8 bc he's the best defenseman, not necessarily because he's one of the eight best players.

however! where i CAN get a little 👀 is the absence of gabe perreault! there has been so much talk about how the four top ntdp boys could go in pretty much any order, so it seems a little unusual to be missing one of them, especially one that's 1/3 of the vaunted top line triumvirate.

Law & Order Special Victims Unit Season 23 Ep. 3 "I Thought You Were on My Side"

Benson and Rollins face a challenge from the FBI and the Organized Crime bureau. A rape victim has identified a dangerous mobster as her assailant. However, the Special Victims Unit discovers that the perpetrator has more connections than they initially believed, which complicates matters for the victim. The FBI and the Organized Crime Bureau aim to apprehend the head of a crime family with the perpetrator's assistance. Stabler shoots the perpetrator, putting him in the hospital. Later, when Carisi visits the perpetrator, he discovers that the US Marshals have taken him away. SVU is unsure whether to trust Stabler and Bell after the outcome of this case.

This episode is the beginning of a crossover event that continues on "Law & Order: Organized Crime" Season 2 Episode 2 and concludes on "Law & Order: Organized Crime" Season 2 Episode 3.

In the bathroom, it appears that people are engaging in sexual activity. The scene takes place in a club where there is a private even happening in the public area. The singer becomes upset when a girl emerges from the restroom looking distressed. The singer is prohibited from taking photos or using her phone. She sings while Gabe meets with the head of the Albanian mob. A large cake is brought out, and she sings "Happy Birthday". Gabe grabs the singer while she is singing. She appears uncomfortable.

Gabe later appears in the dressing room, seeking sex. The protagonist tells him to leave, but he refuses and accuses her of being disrespectful. He then physically assaults her by throwing her onto a bed, causing her to flee. As she tries to escape, he hits her, causing her to fall down the stairs, rendering her unconscious or possibly dead. He instructs the onlookers to remove her from the area.

Fin inquires if Liv has recently seen Stabler. Phoebe invited him over to introduce him to her sister, but he did not arrive. Liv mentions that Stabler is currently working. Fin asks about her therapist's opinion. Liv pretended to be okay with it. She receives a call from Laguardia Hospital.

The singer is in the hospital after being concussed and experiencing convulsions. She reported being raped and was found by a dog walker. A police officer warns Fin that Gabe Navarro is also looking for her, so they must find him quickly. Tara begins to share her story, but the nurse informs her that she only has five minutes to talk.

Rollins enters the room. Tara describes how Gabe pulled her onto his lap and put his fingers between her legs. She ran to the dressing room, and he followed her. She describes what happened next and how she got away. However, he pushed her down the stairs. Jules, the manager, witnessed the incident. Tara is concerned about Gabe's connections with the police and wonders if he will be arrested.

According to Fin, Gabe has connections with the precinct and is always able to avoid charges. Benson advises to gather corroboration before making an arrest.

The witnesses deny having seen anything. Jules reports that there was no security footage. The girl from the beginning vouches for Gabe, claiming that he is a great person who will take care of Tara. Rollins confirms to Carisi that Tara's statement is truthful and that she may be confined to a wheelchair permanently.

Carisi has Tara call Gabe. Gabe's friends warn him about SVU, but he insists he's not an idiot. Tara apologizes for not giving him what he wanted and takes responsibility. Gabe accuses her of involving the cops, but she denies it and explains that she needs help with her medical bills. He questions if this is a shakedown. He claims to have 20 witnesses who will testify that she simply slipped, and if she continues with her behaviour, he will pay for her funeral. Benson deems this sufficient evidence to make an arrest. Gabe initially refuses to comply with the police, but Benson's threat too shoot him in the groin prompts him to relent.

Upon hearing the recording, Gabe denies knowing Tara well and accuses her of attempting to extort money from him. Benson reports finding torn clothes and signs of strangulation. Gabe insists that he and Tara engaged in consensual, rough sex and that she was intoxicated. Gabe's lawyer argues that the charges are baseless. Gabe claims innocence, but the situation is detrimental to his business. What can he offer to resolve this issue? Benson accuses him of bribing a captain. Gabe's lawyer threatens to sue for false arrest. In an attempt to appease Benson, Gabe offers her something complimentary at his club. Later, someone arrives to collect DNA from Gabe. Rollins confirms that Gabe's DNA matches only Tara's rape kit but also those of two other victims. One of the victims has brain damage, and the other was found dead.

Tara is upset because no one has come forward to support her. She believes that the police are afraid of Gabe. Benson assures her that they are not. Carisi offers to do whatever it takes if Tara agrees to testify.

Later, Benson receives a call from Bell. She states that it is their case. Benson heads to Organized Crime headquarters and inquires about the situation from Bell. Stabler appears and offers an explanation, although she may not be pleased with it. Organized Crime has been pursuing Navarro for 12 years. Benson is upset that Elliot did not inform her that he was undercover.

Bell clears her throat to get their attention. Benson is not concerned about Navarro's connections to the mob. He sexually assaulted a young woman and pushed her down the stairs. The grand jury will not be convening, according to the OC. Navarro wants to talk to Stabler, as Bells says. Stabler believes this could be a win for everyone, which makes Benson furious. Stabler and Benson have a conversation. Stabler apologizes for taking the case and explains that he had to go off the grid, preventing him from speaking with Benson due to Bell's orders. A police officer interrupts, informing Stabler that Gabe wants to speak with him exclusively. Benson requests to be present in the room, and Stabler supports her request.

Gabe complained to Stabler that Benson had threatened to shoot him in the groin. Benson responded that she wished she had. She then confronted Gabe about the other victims, to which Gabe gloated that they wouldn't speak. Benson reminds him that he is facing serious charages. Stabler inquires why Gabe specifically requested him. Gabe recommends that Benson leave and turn off the cameras, but Benson declines. Gabe claims that Benson has Stabler's balls in a box. Stabler and Benson both agree that pursuing this lead is a waste of time. Suddenly, Gabe interjects and claims that he can provide them with information on Popkov. He states that Popkov will be arriving in the US tomorrow.

The FBI agent expresses doubt regarding the veracity of Gabe's claim, and Bell shares the agent's skepticism. Benson informs the team that SVU will be part of the mission. Bell expresses dissatisfaction, but Benson insists. She is determined not to let Navarro slip away. Stabler meets Benson and tells her that this is good news. Although Benson is uncertain, Stabler assures her that he has her back and she can trust him. She assumes she will have to. Gabe insists that everything is ready for the raid. However, he does not want Stabler to tip off Popkov that he betrayed him. Stabler will take care of it. Carisi and Benson discuss the significant risk involved, and Stabler remains tight-lipped about Navarro's deal. The FBI confirms the validity of Navarro's story, but Fin is skeptical. Clay inquires about Rollins' well-being, and she confidently handles the conversation.

The raid has commenced. The bedrooms have been cleared, and all the other participants have been arrested.

However, Popkov is missing, and the FBI has no idea of his whereabouts. A crawl space in the basement leads to some kind of tunnel. The path leads to a blocked area. They hear motorcycles, but Gabe and Popkov are no longer there. The police intercepted them. Gabe attempted to draw a gun, and Stabler shot him. Benson ponders whether it was a setup.

During the press conference with Bell, the FBI did not mention SVU's participation. SVU was present during the conference. Navarro is scheduled to be arraigned at the hospital. Carisi called with bad news that the US Marshals had taken Navarro. Stabler had lied to them and they were deceived. Benson confronts Bell, but Stabler is off the grid again. Benson feels they are not on the same team, and the FBI and Bell refuse to provide any information.

Rollins and Benson are both angry. Benson spoke to Stabler, who swore he didn't know about this. Rollins believes that Bell and Stabler do not care about rape victims. However, Benson points out that Stabler used to work in SVU but never met Tara. He told her to trust him, and she knows him better than anyone. Rollins mentions that 8th floor has no information about Navarro. She wonders if Carisi is interested in becoming an ADA. SVU is short-staffed again. Carisi asks if Rollins is breaking up with him, but she assures him that she is not. However, she feels uncertain about what is real and what is not. Carisi promises to stay by her side.

Tara accuses Benson of allowing Navarro to escape justice. Benson explains that it was not her decision, but assures Tara that the case is not closed and she will continue to pursue justice. Tara acknowledges that she has a long road to recovery ahead of her, and expresses doubt that Benson can help her regain her ability to sing and dance.
