Okay so I had a small idea hit me this morning. So we all are about 95% sure that we’re getting Cody in the Kenobi series and most of us are pretty sure he’s gonna be in an antagonistic role. Which I’m good with. But what if between RotS and Kenobi, he somehow overcomes his chip. Wolffe and Gregor did it. Why couldn’t Cody?? But he stays in the Empire because how the heck else is he supposed to try to help his brothers and maybe strike a covert blow for good every once in a while. A man on the inside.
So a few years pass and the Empire is rounding up Force sensitive kids to either kill them if they’re too potentially powerful or turn them into assassins, Inquisitors, etc. Cody is placed in control of five of these kids for combat training. Becuase naturally. And he trains the ever loving heck out of these kids.
And he loves them. He softens the terror of the Dark Side that their other instructors instill in them and tells them about his old General. Every sting of Dark Side corruption that is leveled at the kids, he manages to soothe away and soften. It kills him a little inside when his five little ones come to him for training with burn scars from electric prods and bruises where they’ve been slapped or punched for mouthing off. He never fails to reassure them that it’s not their fault but that they must guard their tongues and thoughts. Always keep vigilant, always protect yourself. You’re better than this and you will be free one day. One day. Cody never mentions that that day will probably the last time they’ll be together.
They’re able to use the Dark Side but do not surrender to it, enough to the point that they’re more like Mace Windu, channeling the power but refusing the consuming plunge. They learn to shield their emotions like Palpatine did, disguising themselves in the Dark Side just enough to never trigger Vader’s feelers. Cody has to be careful that doesn’t let his affection be too visible but the kids know it and they all call him “Dad” when it’s just them.
Much like his brothers, Cody encouraged the kids to name themselves and lets them explore their own individuality as much as they safely can. The kids grow and are known as one of many teams to send in when there’s a serious target to be taken down. Most of the time, they’re utilized to take down old, entrenched Sep forces and they do such a stellar job that everyone begins idolizing them. They spend loads of time training, meditating and keeping fit when they’re not in the field, which isn’t terribly often. Which is how Cody likes it because they’re his babies. They all get matching tattoos like Cody’s scar. They all wear gold accented armor and carry yellow lightsabers in Cody’s honor as well. They call themselves “Sunshine Squad” in private.
The bond between them in the Force is almost symbiotic, to the point that they can marshal their abilities together to overpower an enemy that might otherwise kill any one of them alone. They echo the Clones heavily in that alone they can be easily overwhelmed but together, they can be a wall.
So one day Cody comes to them with a mission from himself, a defensive mission rather than an offensive one. Another team is being sent to Tatooine on the possible trail of a Jedi. Cody thinks he knows who it is and he can’t just sit by and watch this happen. So he sends his babies and makes sure they know that Kenobi will probably either be horribly difficult to find or he’ll attack them outright with everything he’s got. (See Uutapau?!) The kids leave; they’re grown but that’s how Cody thinks of them collectively. He silently prays that the General won’t overreact and kill one of them.
Kenobi does indeed rush them in “hello there” style and the kids are just trying not to die while also trying to convince him to chill his paranoid butt all the way down and listen. The eldest, a young woman who actually resembles Cody, finally pulls everybody together and collectively, they Force lift and restrain Kenobi long enough to keep him from killing any of them. He’d dropped his lightsaber in the fight and she scoops it up. She marches right up to him and just smacks him in the chest with it. “Now,” she pants, “are you dead?”
Kenobi just sort of stares at her.
“What?”
“Did I just kill you?” she demands solidly, eyes boring into Kenobi’s.
“No...” he answers cautiously. “If I could’ve just now, wonder why I didn’t.” She continues in a slow, methodical conversation to get Kenobi to arrive at the conclusion on his own rather than hand it to him. Cody encouraged her to do this should a confrontation arise.
“Uh... you don’t want to?” he finally guesses.
The woman patiently nods. “That’s right. Now take this blasted thing before you lose it again.” And everyone slowly lowers Kenobi to his feet. He begins sensing something familiar and not unwelcome. He can’t place a finger on what he’s feeling, like it’s a smell from childhood that evokes a pleasant but unclear memory. And then he sees it. His old friend, the Clone Commander in gold, is literally stamped on each of these people, in the way they talk because they’ve all picked up Cody’s accent, the way they stand and especially the way they fought. One of them tackled him in the one-sided fight; it was like being hit by a gundark. Another had performed a truly beautiful kick to defend herself from his lightsaber, knocking it out of his hand. And the same person had returned it.
“You’re not Sith,” he ventures, still holding his lightsaber in a ready defense pose.
“Search your feelings,” one of the younger ones responds. “We didn’t even raise our sabers to you. If we were Sith, aggression would be our leading edge, don’t you think?”
“Who are you?” Kenobi asks, almost daring not to hope.
The whole group smiles at each other and replies in perfect unison: “Sunshine Squad. Captain Cody sends his regards.”
The woman introduces herself as Gaia, then there’s the twins: Soren and Rex (he chose his name when he asked Cody who his favorite brother was). The other girl is Kali and the youngest is Shriek.
The leader clears her throat. “General, you’re in danger and we need to get somewhere secure before the real strike team lands. We have an hour at the most, sir.” And Obi-Wan hears Cody that time. It might as well have been the man standing right there.
So, he takes them to his little hut. And they all just stop dead about 100 yards away and a chorus of “This is not secure” shaded comments.
“Well, I’ve always managed to defend it when I needed to,” Obi-Wan says, a little offended. He receives five polite but firm looks that are all basically this. 👇🏻

I'm in a bit of a Star Wars and Amphibia mood right now so what do you think the human girls would be like as Jedi and Sith?
           I should warn you that my knowledge of Star Wars, and the Jedi and Sith, is not as comprehensive as it could be. But, going off of what I remember and generally know;
Anne is someone who is definitely a fierce and devoted knight, and willing to selflessly put herself aside for others- Maybe a bit TOO selfless at times, perhaps. She’s a Jedi, the kind who willingly cuts themselves off from emotions and attachments, because they have to be what others expect them to be… But as we see, Anne also has the habit of sometimes getting in over her head and doing what she thinks is best for others thanks to Sasha’s abuse- So I could see Anne being the kind of Jedi that maybe acts a bit too reckless and certain that what she’s doing is right, that maybe she IS perfect…
Of course, this all gets complicated because Anne is fiercely loyal, so she’d want to protect the ones she cares about. I could see her going down the route of Grey Jedi like Ahsoka does, or at least engaging with the code in her own way like Luke’s Jedi Order from Legends. Anne needs to give herself some emotional attachments so she can be attuned and in-touch with the people she protects, and really give them what they need and want. Anne has a good heart and she stifles under conformity, and she’d quickly recognize the Dark Side as being too toxic to really be the freedom she wants- That being said, she’d totally abuse Mind Tricks from time to time to get into some mischief alongside her family! Needless to say, Anne has a blue lightsaber; Potentially a cross-guard saber, given her defensive nature and the resemblance to her own sword within canon.
Marcy is starting off as a Jedi… Her loneliness and difficulty with social interactions mean that she doesn’t have much to worry about attachments or whatnot, as it’s hard for her to make social connections. This DOES come at the cost of maybe not being very in-touch with the people she’s supposed to protect, a bit too impersonal and cold like the Jedi Order near the end of the Clone Wars… Regardless, Marcy would totally throw herself into her studies and meditation, to become the best she can be; And she’d be enamored with the archives and totally follow someone like Jocasta Nu around, all of the time! But I can see her curiosity and quest for knowledge, coupled with Marcy maybe not fully recognizing that these are actual people with lives that she’s dealing with, leading to a downfall…
Perhaps like the Grand Inquisitor, Marcy’s curiosity gets the better of her and she wants to learn more, without much regard to who might get hurt in the way; Especially with the influence of someone like Andrias, who could easily be the Palpatine to her Anakin. Not to mention, Marcy not being able to make connections well means she’s somewhat dependent on the ones she does have- Potentially TOO dependent, as it’s possible Marcy will act badly later in Season 2, because she misses Anne, and/or feels some resentment for being ‘left behind’.
These feelings of frustration and fear of being left out and losing what she has can easily be twisted into anger and hatred, etc., so I see Marcy potentially being swayed down the path of Dark Jedi, if not full-blown Sith, by Andrias. She might want Anne to be with her at any cost, try to offer her down that path, maybe even force her if she has to, and/or take it personally because Anne refusing to go with Marcy means she’s being abandoned like she always feared. Really, I could see Marcy looking into the Dark Side even without prompting because she’s just that curious, she’s sure she won’t get pulled in, relax there’s nothing to worry about, it’s nothing to be concerned about if she starts wielding red sabers to see what they’re like...
Plus, a Dark Side Marcy would totally abuse that technique of forcing your way into someone’s mind to learn information. Her lightsaber is definitely green, maybe she keeps it that way for the aesthetic, or bleeds the crystal to make it red. I could see Marcy indulging in one of those rotating Inquisitor blades, especially the kind with the micro-repulsor lift that lets her fly, Yes it looks dumb NO she does not care, it’s cool, you’ll stop laughing when she cuts you up with it! And Marcy’s geeking out over every variant of Lightsaber, prying apart Holocrons and devouring the information within… She’d be making frequent additions to her collection like General Grievous, maybe even indulge in some cybernetics willingly because of how cool it is! Marcy is definitely caught up in what’s ‘cool’ and gets her interest, especially as a replacement and crutch for any social connections, so she seems pretty Dark Side subsceptible… But ultimately one who cares more about knowledge for the sake of it than actual conquest or leadership.
Now, Sasha? This girl is a remorseless, full-blown Sith Lord. She’s charismatic, knows how to get people to do what she wants, and WILL revel in violence and destruction and power! She’s the kind of Sith Lord who screams “UNLIMITED POWER” every time she uses Force Lightning, which just so happens to be her default solution to even the most minor inconvenience. She’s embracing the Dark Side and completely enjoying it, she’ll unapologetically abuse any technique as she deems fit without batting an eye- Normally she preferred diplomacy… But when you’re an all-powerful Sith Lord, who even needs it?
I can see Grime being her non-force sensitive general and partner-in-crime, who doesn’t really get that force stuff but is fully supportive of Sasha regardless. Maybe he’s even her Sith master- But instead of indulging in Darth Bane’s Rule of Two, Sasha and Grime just mutually enjoy causing mayhem and havoc together, without much consideration for one-upping the other. They DO care about one another, legitimately. She either starts off with a purple lightsaber, or is immediately red from the start, either way she ends up with the traditional crimson blade. Her saber-handle is probably ornate to really show off that extra, dramatic status and theatrics; Gold is definitely her style.
…Actually. Sasha has a scar on her face. She has an army and wants to take over the world… She’s fighting a former, heroic friend who wields a glowing blue sword, and they’re bound to fight at a volcano later in the future. She wants revenge against her friend and to beat her this time… And Sasha blames said friend for turning against her, for leaving her behind for others who don’t really matter, that maybe she was conspired against…
           …Oh no.

Cal Kestis x Reader
Requested by: Anon | Prompt:
Okay so maybe a fic where Cal keeps having nightmares and visions when he meditates of the reader dying and the events leading up to her death. He starts being really protective and the reader tries to reassure him shes fine. But on a mission things start happening that he saw in the visions before the reader dies and gets really on edge. You can decide how it ends, aka reader dying in cals arms to make me cry or him saving her to also make me cry! Sorry if this is too much!!💕

2 of 3
The next morning, Cal woke up realizing that he was late for the morning briefing; he rushed to the room where Cham Syndulla and his fighters are gathered. He finds you standing at the far back, away from the crowd, yet listening intently to the leader.
“Hi,” Cal huffed, gasping for air as quietly as he could. “Did I miss anything?”
“Oh hey, not much. Cham was just getting started,”
You filled him on the minor details before the Twi’lek got to the chunk of the plan; pointing which teams go where, when to strike, and who to avoid. Later, Cham turned to the two Jedi which prompted you to step forward and the people gave way for you.
“This section is the most crucial—and obviously the most well and heavily-guarded—with your weapons and knowledge in better combat, you two are our only chance of ever achieving our objective. You must destroy the main shield generator so we can have a better chance in taking it down with aerial assault. Can I count on you, Jedi Knights?”
There was a pause. You stepped closer to the hologram, your head panned across the very edge up until the blinking red square on the map that indicates the objective. You turned back to Cham and your signature confident smug plastered all over your face.
“Trouble seems to be our only selling point. Why don’t we give the Empire a free trial?”
Cheers filled the conference chamber, brandishing their weapons of all types, and fighters poured out of the mound—a handful rode in their mounts, whilst several continued on foot.
You and Cal were on the vanguard, with a designated assault squadron flanking you for cover.
This was only the beginning phase of the plan. The assault squadron that charged with you traded shots with the baffled Stormtroopers that were standing by and keeping watch at the main entrance. The pair of Jedi assisted the fighters as they faced head on with the melee-wielding Stormtroopers.
“Requesting reinforcements! The main entrance is being overwhelmed by rebels!” a Stormtrooper cried out helplessly before taking a shot from a blaster rifle.
“Go, Jedi! Half of the squad will cover for you once you’re inside!” Cham bellowed.
“Come on!” you beckoned Cal and he ran by your side.
The two of you come across a human barricade of Stormtroopers between the entrance of the stronghold and you. The barricade was spearheaded by a rocket launcher-wielding trooper, he already had a single shot loaded into his weapon, and all he needed was to pull the trigger.
A torpedo comes popping out of the barrel of the weapon. With your combined lightning-fast reflexes, you and Cal worked together—with his Force-Slow, he hindered the slug in mid-air, ripples in the air encased the large bullet, and your ability to manipulate the flow of objects using the Force comes into play: your hands weaved the air in a continuous spinning motion to which the slug motioned in a similar manner until it now faces the opposite direction. Cal then released his focus on the bullet and sends it flying back to the row of Stormtroopers—including the one who shot it.
The entire stronghold is now on high alert, but the two of you eluded the eyes of the Stormtroopers marching across the hallways until you could reach the objective. Neither confidence nor arrogance have a place in this mission, so going in quietly was the best option. The hallway you prowled through was similar to the fortress in Nur, though neither of you sense anything… yet.
“Cham, we’re inside the stronghold. Stormtroopers are coming your way,”
“Copy that. We’ll be ready for them, they haven’t thinned out my numbers yet!”
You and Cal sprinted through the hallway, eager to get to the objective. Along the way, the Stormtroopers have started pouring into your direction and you have no choice but to fight through it.
“Calculating attack success probability.” The Imperial security droid monotonously annunciated as you dodge-rolled its uppercut punch.
This was already the third wave of enemies. The Jedi were beginning to anticipate that the next wave is bound to be more difficult than the last.
“They killed our droid!” a Stormtrooper whimpered.
“Oh no, now they look mad!” another followed.
To the Stormtroopers’ eyes, the blinding beams that are your sabers dazed them, messing up their aim and footing in effect; the Jedi were fluid and lithe with their attacks and general movements that none of the Stormtroopers’ blasters can find its mark.
The arrival of a Purge Trooper in the skirmish somehow became their beacon of relief. Humbled by the presence of the black-clad trooper wielding a massive electrohammer, they’ve technically placed all their hope of survival in their more tenacious, high-tier comrade.
“Two Jedi? Looks like my lucky day!” the Purge Trooper hissed through his helmet.
You made yourselves busy with the inferior Stormtroopers first before setting your sights on the Purge Trooper.
“Puh! They never even stood a chance anyway!” the enemy taunted, striking the floor with the pommel of his weapon.
Cal exchanged glances with you and for a moment, there was an unspoken understanding between the two of you. With each of you running on the walls on either side and leapt off at the end with an overhead strike, you took the Purge Trooper by surprise but he was quick-witted enough to deflect both attacks.
“Oh-ho-ho!! A worthy challenge!” he chortled.
The joint stunt you did with Cal somewhat enabled the Purge Trooper rather than intimidate him, now he’s gotten more brutish with his attacks albeit sluggish—which you took advantage of. Cal immediately engaged him as a diversion while you sneak in and exploited an opening, regardless how narrow that window of opportunity might be.
To your surprise, the Purge Trooper deflected your sneak attack with his own gauntlet! A cocky snicker muffled through his helmet and he literally has his hands full with both of you. A hard kick to the shin from Cal caused the brute to lose his footing and it granted you a short time to finally kill the Purge Trooper.
You pulled your saber away from his gauntlet and while he fumbles, you released a triad of slashes across his body, severing his armor in half until an ember-encrusted gash across his body steals away the last breath in his lungs. The two of you stood there with your mouths agape while sucking in air.
“Well then… that wasn’t so hard, was it?” Cal blurted.
You threw yourself into Cal’s arms, not even as a response to his remark, but simply out of your heart’s content. You took Cal by surprise, he felt your fingers crumpling the back of his jumpsuit as you cling onto him. You drew the strength to pull away and shyly avert your eyes from him.
“Sorry… I just couldn’t help it… I don’t know what came over—”
He ignored your nervous rambling of reasons, he cupped your cheeks and his lips met yours for the very first time. His thumb caressed the fullness of your cheek as his tongue sneakily dips into your mouth. Of course by instinct, you kiss him back—tenderly sucking the bottom of his lip as you held him by the neck.
Even when he has pulled away, Cal followed up another kiss—but tender and short.
“Now isn’t really the best time but… I just wanted you to know it before shit goes down.”
You breathed out a chuckle, “Oh Cal, I know… I know.”
There was an exchange of awkward but endearing smiles, accompanied by snickers in between.
With your heads back in the game, you find your way to the place where the red blip on the map showed.
“There’s the door!” you squealed.
The blast door starts to open, slowly revealing a tall, hulking figure standing on the other end.
Your path was cut off by the Fifth Brother, a gray, hulking brute whose helmet made him resemble a Zeffonian or the guardian in its tombs.
“Where do you think you’re going?” he hummed, brandishing his dual-ended lightsaber.
“Wouldn’t you like to know!?” you snarled back.
Your lightsabers hissed back as you assumed stances. The Fifth Brother remained indifferent.
There appeared to be no room for small talk. The two Jedi faced the Inquisitor head on. Even though the dark warrior was outnumbered, his strength was twice the combination of your strength and Cal’s.
Meanwhile, Cham Syndulla was beginning to get worried why you and Cal were taking so long. He had feared the worst—and it has come true.
The Inquisitor has lured his enemies into the other side of the blast door, leading you into the exact place where you needed to be: the main shield generator chamber. Sitting at the center of the vast room is the pillar coated with electric currents—in other words: your target.
He’s made this duel much trickier. The walkways that lead to the main pillar had no railings, they lead straight into the abyss of the shaft, and it limited your space, thus forcing you to be more tactful with your movements.
“Careful!” Cal cried out.
“I know!”
The Fifth Brother’s fighting tactics was similar to the Ninth Sister’s, however, he moves in a feather-like grace despite his physical appearance—rendering his elusive and dexterous with his attacks. It was too impractical for both of you to keep on charging, it was a given fact that if he saw that strategy, he will just tire both of you out until he emerges victorious.
The Fifth Brother dealt a hit on your shoulder, afterwards he used the Force to push you away from him just so he can target Cal next.
When Cal got a little too close, the Fifth Brother landed his elbow against the boy’s jaw, disorienting him until he staggers backwards. He interrupted his fall by holding onto the edge of the bridge, the Inquisitor stood by the edge and hovered his foot just an inch above Cal’s fingers.
“No, get away from him!” you violently pulled the Inquisitor away from the ledge, making him return his attention to you.
He watched you bring yourself back up to your feet. You winced as you got both feet flat on the floor. The Inquisitor almost gutted you open by the abdomen—luckily, the thick fabric of your jacket only made the strike into a graze but it still burned on your skin. You looked at your arm, deep red blood dribbled and stained your tattered sleeve, and the seared flesh peeked through the slit that the Inquisitor has cut on your clothes.
“Pitiful! Stand up straight, girl!” he roared.
Cal immediately pulled himself up and saw that you weren’t in your best shape, but the Inquisitor had no regard to that and marched right towards you. The Inquisitor’s large hand braced your neck and hoisted you up from the floor, your legs kicked as you struggled for air, your small hands couldn’t loosen his crushing grip around your throat.
“This is the fight I was promised? Pssh, shame.”
Cal’s heart sank the moment the Fifth Brother drove his lightsaber into your abdomen. He didn’t even grant you to dignity to stand up straight as you prepared to face him.
The sensation was excruciating. Your body didn’t know whether to cough to recover from the choke or gasp for oxygen as you felt like you were a balloon that’s been ruptured open and is quickly running out of air.
You found Cal’s eyes, wide and wrought with anguish, and it slowly curdled into a seething rage—a dangerous seething rage that can be weaponized when the tables have turned.

tangled star wars au!
to set the scene: zhan tiri is palpatine. she’s an evil sith who has been manipulating things behind the scenes for years in order to bring forth an empire. mother gothel was her first apprentice, a darth maul type figure, and she decided to leave zhan tiri after getting pregnant and starting to catch force visions of how her daughter would eventually replace her as zhan tiri’s apprentice.
which, of course, means that she dies if she stays. which gothel is NOT down for. she starts catching more and more force visions concerning her child, but mainly about the chosen one- an incredibly force sensitive baby who was due to be born to the queen of alderaan in a few years. she bides her time with her own, semi-force sensitive child who she ignores and then she goes to kidnap Super Baby to make her into the perfect apprentice to use to take down zhan tiri.
she steals the baby and ends up abandoning her own. cass is temporarily adopted by the captain of the palace guards before being given to the jedi order.
cass is a good jedi student, but part of that is because she just. repress repress represses so well and pushes down her own feelings and desires to try to conform to the group. she feels unappreciated, and really- senator zhan tiri from naboo seems to be the only one who thinks that she’s good for anything.
she’s placed with a jedi master who is very The Code Is The Most Important Thing and does not show affection, like, ever. cass gets through to knighthood early because she’s a great fighter but her emotional health is bad. it’s just bad.
rapunzel is an abused sith apprentice. while her first instinct is to try to help, she’s also been raised by gothel forever- and this time as a weapon instead of as a healing machine. she is an adept duelist who, despite her instincts reaches out with a force choke or force lighting before she reaches out a helping hand.
gothel can, and does, hurt her a lot. the model that i’m thinking of here is kinda barriss offee and luminara unduli in mirror, mirror. i know that doesn’t mean anything if you haven’t read the fic but it helps me. so.
gothel keeps her eye on galactic politics to see where she can shove a wrench in palpatine’s plans, and it seems that something something trade federation something something naboo. she dispatches an 18 year old rapunzel to kill nute gunray and end the invasion because she’s worked out that this is important to zhan tiri’s plans. (she follows because she still doesn’t trust her unwilling apprentice to get the job done, but that’s not important until later)
with naboo, comes eugene and lance, thieving orphan pair that they always are. eugene is twenty whatever he is. i don’t remember. lance is off doing space crimes and eugene is currently working theed as a pickpocket.
he’s been hired by the trade federation to draw up plans for the castle with pitfalls and to serve as a guide in and out since hes robbed the place so many times, and he’s initially pretty chill about it until they like. start threatening the life of the young queen and they take her hostage.
eugene is very much not on board for this, and so he goes to the bathroom and holos space 9-11.
“uh? need? jedi?” and recently made a jedi knight 22 year old cassandra travels from halfway across the world where she was for *hand waves*
eugene sends her the castle plans so that she can come in and rescue the queen, and through a series of mishaps he temporarily convinces the trade federation that HE wasn’t the one who brought the jedi here and lost them their hostage. but then they realize they’ve been duped and take HIM hostage.
cue rapunzel going planetside on her gunray assassination attempt, and cassandra sighing as she realizes that she has to go back in to save this guy.
she runs into the cagey sith apprentice, and they realize that both of them want to fight the trade federation so they’ll have a truce. for now. there’s also some cute banter but i’m going at lightspeed right now.
they get to the room, save eugene, and then rapunzel is like OKAY ASSASSINATION TIME! and cass is like. uh. no. not the jedi way. and it becomes a very mobile lightsaber battle that ends with them in the room with a big pit that goes down for some reason all over again. eugene follows, because ho ho holy shit this is scary but also kind of the coolest thing that he’s ever seen?
rapunzel and cass go back and forth about what the right thing is and yadda yadda, and raps finds that she actually LIKES this girl.. so she doesn’t kill her. she just knocks her out. she bends down to check the pulse, just to be sure, then heaves a visible sigh of relief as she puts her saber away. she starts to walk to Assassinate and then eugene blocks her path.
some good quality “hey so you seem nice, i really don’t think that you want to commit murder” “well i have to” “do you really? i think you’re being forced” “well yeah my master will kill me if i don’t” “well what if we talked to someone. i think the jedi order could help. you’ve got the forcey power things” and then rapunzel stares at him.
“you really think that they’d help a sith like me?” eugene glances at cass’s unconscious form.
“once she vouches for you, yeah. i do.” eugene has no idea how that would work, but it has to be worth a try, right? rapunzel nods hesitantly and agrees to come with him and cass.
then gothel comes. dun dun dun. there’s a terrifying duel with some very cruel dialogue from gothel, until cassandra comes up behind her and joins the duel. rapunzel is able to get in a slice in half shot and send gothel hurting her to ACTUAL death.
after eugene’s valiant efforts trying to protect the queen, he’s called in as an advisor for a time on local politics, particularly serving as a voice for the lower classes, and then becoming senator.
rapunzel is inducted into the order as a padawan because they feel like there’s literally no other choice here. this former sith wants to get better, and they can’t exactly unleash her on the world. she’s assigned to cassandra as padawan partially with and partially without cassandra’s consent.
attack of the clones happens only a year and a half later, and involves a lot of rapunzel guarding senator fitzherbert and some feelings flaring up, and then her image getting blasted across the holos and the monarchs of alderaan realizing that their daughter is alive. rapunzel is knighted after geonosis (the youngest knight ever! how impressive!)
as the clone wars rage, rapunzel’s parents keep reaching out to her and trying to get her leave the order while she’s romancing eugene (he pulled me away from the dark! he believed in me!) and getting lots of accolades for being an amazing jedi after turning away from being raised by the sith. as she’s also praised for being a literal princess and having lots of people who obviously love her outside of the order really serves to propel cass’s feelings of jealousy both from not being as good as rapunzel and not feeling loved by her or like one of her most important people.
the clone wars rages for a long time, rapunzel gaining more and more renown as cassandra keeps being overlooked for a promotion to master or a slot on the council, and zhan tiri keeps whispering in her ear about how no one appreciates her properly.
“everyone knows that former padawan of yours is involved with that senator from naboo, but she hasn’t gotten the slightest reprimand as they praise her. meanwhile you, the greatest jedi in the order, have nothing to show for your hard work” the seed of jealousy grows and grows, and then nearer to the end of the war zhan tiri reveals that the sith lord that stole rapunzel as a child was cassandra’s mom who abandoned her.
that seed of rage grows, but it’s not the catalyst, even after killing count dooku. the catalyst is that after years of feeling unappreciated and simultaneously loving and despising rapunzel, her best friend announces that she is leaving the jedi order to be with her family on alderaan and marry senator fitzherbert.
the end of the war is in sight, right? the perfect time to leave will be once it’s all over. and that’s when zhan tiri twists the knife in the deepest it’s ever been and asks cassandra if she’d like to finally get what she’s owed.
no one dies on mustafar but cassandra’s ability to not be in a vader suit. rapunzel goes into hiding and eugene tries to do the most that he can as he remains a senator for naboo, glaring daggers in zhan tiri’s back as he does his best to undermine her at every turn.
rapunzel and eugene keep up their relationship when they can manage, but it’s not often as a rebellion leader and something resembling a spy. he works his magic in the imperial senate for as long as he can before zhan tiri sends inquisitors after him and he goes on the run with lance, forming a rebellion cell that will eventually merge into the rebel alliance that rapunzel helps run.
cassandra will come back to the light eventually, but it’s a long time coming, and it doesn’t immediately bring the empire tumbling down. that takes a lot more work and working alongside rapunzel. they eventually work out some of their issues and things move in a v shaped ot3 direction, the way that would have prevented a lot of heartbreak.
you get to decide whether or not they nuke alderaan/corona in this one. i haven’t decided if i want to pull that trigger yet.

Bad Moon Rising.
AU: Agent Mira’s mission was simple, put down the uprising. But she got what she bargained for as her training may have taught her everything but it didn’t prepare her for her greatest enemy-Her family. Prequel to A Mother’s Sacrifice and A Father’s Sacrifice.
TW: Suicide attempt.
A camera activates revealing Mira on screen. On the bottom right of the screen reads agent Mira, agent code: 1337420, on the top right is the date and next to it is Rey in a small screen. Her location is at Lothal after Mira told her to run away and as always, still a scavenger who sells old defunct Imperial items in the market and she is making a living out of it. Got herself a house too. Mira is wearing a black under suit as she smiles at Rey in the camera.
“Hey baby! So how’s Lothal?” Mira asks in excitement knowing Rey heeded her advice in leaving Jakku since she feared the Resistance would take her. She has privileges yes but the notion of a trooper having a relationship within the First Order is trouble brewing so she mustered a lot of money and donations from friends in other outposts, put an end to Unkar Plutts via blaster shot then replaced him with constable Zuvio’s cousin, Drego who is a much more fair junk boss and then finding a shuttle leaving Jakku before giving Rey the money she needed to get out.
“Well like you said and I fell for it, it’s amazing so far! The people here are so nice and the opportunities here are endless! Thank you....” Rey thanked with a smile. Mira smiles in response knowing her girlfriend is happy even though they are far apart from each other. She swears one day to leave the First Order and go to Lothal.
“Yeah, courtesy of me.” Mira replied.
“So how’s Rescue and Intelligence division?” Rey asks her knowing that Mira always wanted to be in that part of the First Order.
“Helping others, rescuing the innocents, keeping order and the peace. Being an all around hero to others and defending the innocents too.” Mira bragged. Rey chuckles.
“Wow, you’re still a dork.” Rey observed.
“Oh you’re a much more bigger one than me.” Mira countered. Rey shakes her head while smirking. She is about to open her mouth but the door behind her begins to open.
“Oh, it must be the neighbors! I’m so supposed to be attending a party! See you soon!” Rey said.
“You too then.” Mira replied before Rey signs off.
A pair of hands reaches towards the computer as it becomes apparent that it’s Mira again. She activates the call.....No answer. Mira decides to leave a message so she puts it on as the camera reveals her face. She is breathing heavily as shots and explosions are heard.
“Rey.....Rey listen to me. I know its late but this might be the last time you’ll see me.....This rebel cell has invaded our home base of the division. We’re under attack and they’ve started an uprising with the help of some kind rebel cell from Lothal known as the spectres, they are highly trained and dangerous....There’s a high chance they’ll find out about you. About us. Thrawn says they know me. If you get this message....Stay away! Forget you ever knew me....I love you. Have a good life.” She shuts off the computer as the lights flicker to reveal herself in her typical super commando-like armor while she puts on her helmet then picking up her rifle and holstering her dark saber on her belt. She heads outside of her room as numerous agents are running left and right. Her coms go off.
“Mira, it’s Kallus! We’re in the pad! Get there ASAP!” Her team leader ordered her. Mira nods then runs off. She hears a sudden ship sound causing her to turn to the window to see an A-wing make a run and start firing but the shields deflect his shots while a TIE fighter chases it. From what she can tell, its one of Phoenix Squadron. She continues to run then into the ship pad where numerous Rescue and Intelligence agents are are entering there individual ships which are Imperial stealth gunships that resemble the ones from the Clone Wars except much more advanced. This one is colored olive and green which belongs to her team, fireteam sprectre. Zuke is busy adjusting the barrel of his blastmill rifle, it clicks while he turns the barrel. Blackjack spins the inquisitor lightsaber while its deactivated with Convor aka Lena Tua is checking her pistols before holstering them. Kallus arrives as the team get inside the gunship with Convor manning it.
“Everyone in?” Kallus asks.
“YES SIR!” They replied in unison. Kallus turns to the pilot which is Tua and nods. The gunship begins to rise before flying straight into the city. Intel is sketchy but there are reports of rioting and multiple buildings attacked. Mira looks at the city as fire is present. The city was a place of peace and a shining example of what the First Order can do...Not anymore at least. It saddens the team and the agents. To relieve some tension, Convor puts on the radio as it plays Bad Moon Rising by Credence Sweetwater Revival. Mira rolls her eyes and turns to her.
“Oh way to sum up our situation.” Mira sarcastically sighed knowing of her habit of turning on some music to calm everyone calm down. The gunship flies into the city as riots are now visible. Most of them are supported by the Partisans who have been fighting the Rescue and Intelligence division alongside the First Order. Riot troopers are trying there best to fight them off but there are Partisans gunning them down in the process. Partisans spot the gunships causing them to open fire at them but Convor guns them all down before the swarm of gunships that were with them return to formation. They hover over the buildings in the financial district. The door slides open as Mira, Blackjack, Zuke, and Kallus hook up the rappelling gear on the ship before grabbing on and sliding down on the roof.
An agent wearing white stormtrooper armor with red stripes on him alongside a red paldron and having dual blaster pistols holstered on his hips crouches in front of the door while aiming his blaster rifle at it. He is agent Fordo, a former stromtrooper like every agent. He specializes in recon alongside the rest of his team led by agent Ophelia Saxon who is another Mandolorian and wears armor similar to Mira except red and also has a bandoleer slashed on her chest.
“Fordo! What’s the sitrep?” Mira asks before Fordo gets up then turns to him while the rest of his team flies towards them and lands. Ophelia breaches the door first.
“What are we even here for?” Zuke asks too.
“We’re here to find the spectres aka the crew of the Ghost. As you all heard, they are a small band of rebels in the early years of the Rebellion and caused problems. They still continue to cause them for us. Be wary-Apparently Ophelia’s dad fought them once and paid the price-They consist of the head of clan Wren, Sabine, Jedi master Ezra Bridger and Kanan Jarrus, Hera Syndulla, Lasat Honor guard Garazeb Orrellios, and droid Chopper.”  Fordo explained.
“And why the most dangerous group from the Rebellion is here?” Kallus asks him.
“They do runs for the Resistance now and supporting the Partisans who are led by Mala Karn, the media dub him as the new Saw Gerrera. Intel reports state that Mala had some help from the crew to organize this uprising.” The agent continued.
“So if we find the crew then they could be the key to finding Karn. Can’t wait to kill that child killing bastard.” Kallus growled. Fordo nodded in agreement before signaling them to come. Ophelia leads them downstairs while Mira walks ahead since she’s the team’s tracker and point-woman.
“Long time no see Ophie.” Mira greeted as Ophelia nods.
“And you too Mira, it’s almost yesterday I saw you become an agent after graduation.” Ophelia replied. She is known to be Gar Saxon’s daughter who fled with her mother in the battle of Jakku and joined up with the First Order.
“Also don’t call me Ophie please.” She continued. They arrive at the door as Mira and Ophelia lean against the walls. Mira signals an agent to kick the door down The agent runs up to the door then kicks it down. Suddenly, a hail of blaster fire almost hits him but Mira pushes him out of the way The team heads in with Zuke blasting his weapon while suppressing fire. They all take cover while returning fire.
Ezra, Mala, Sabine, Kanan, and Zeb watch the camera footage as the Partisans suppress the agents. It was only a matter time before they arrived. Ezra has heard of this sect of the First Order, they deal in rescue operations and spec-ops level missions. The best of the best. They also come by another name, First Order Special Tactics and Rescue Squad aka STARS which was ironic since it sounds like the team from Sabine’s favorite video game, Resident Rakghoul. They are a force to be reckoned with due to there unpredictable nature and diverse tactics. The best of the best.
“I should’ve known they would’ve come here. It would have been only a matter of time.” Mala said then turns to his men.
“We are clearing house! Lets move out before they arrive.” He ordered. Kanan places his hand on his shoulder causing the leader to turn around.
“You know what we came here for Mala.” Kanan stated. The man sighs before handing Kanan something.
“This is all the intel on the stormtroopers. Mira could be among the millions if not billions of them. Good luck on your daughter Ezra.” Mala nodded.
“This is going to be the last time we work with you.” Ezra replied in bitterness.
“Ezra, what I do is for the greater good and you should know that. Every recruit I kill, halts the expansion of the First Order.” Mala defended.
“You could’ve killed our daughter.” Sabine growled before helping the men with the stuff. Mala shakes his head before deleting all data then going on the radio to his men.
The Partisans are raining hell upon the agents as they move in closer. Mira crawls then pulls out her dark saber to cut ones leg causing him to fall on the ground easily right before she decapitates him. She continues to crawl while avoiding the shots with the Partisans not noticing her. Mira hides behind a cubicle while readying her rifle. She fires out of cover and hits a Partisan in the face. There coms go off.
“We’re clearing house.” Mala stated as a Partisan nods. He signals his men to move out as they continue to fire and walk away. The Partisan notices Mira behind cover causing him to pull out a detonator. Mira’s eyes widen so she vaults over the cover. Under the floor are remote bombs set to hinder there paths. The bombs explode causing the floor to collapse as Mira runs towards them while pulling out her dark saber and slicing an incoming Partisan as the floor collapses. The Partisans run away from Mira into a hall as Mira runs towards them before the door slides shut leaving Mira alone before the rest of the agents could arrive.
“Shit....” Mira cursed before readying her rifle again and walking very slowly to look at her surroundings at the same time. Suddenly, Sabine comes out from a corridor and slams Mira against the wall. She grabs onto her while Mira soon throws her on the ground before activating her dark saber.
“Sabine Wren! You’re coming with me.....” She growled.
“Hey that’’s mine! The dark saber!” Sabine observed while getting up and remembering the fight she had with Phasma prior. How Phasma stole the dark saber from her.
“Phasma gave it to me as a gift! A well earned one!” Mira charges and swings the dark saber at Sabine who dodges to the left. She swings it at her at the right before Sabine dodges again then using her legs to lift herself against the wall and kicking Mira in the face. Mira swings the weapon again but Sabine ducks and kicks Mira right in the stomach against a door. She activates the door switch which opens it before Sabine fires a sonic blaster at her. The door slides open as Mira is launched by the sonic blast and lands against the glass which begins to crack. Sabine activates her lasso and launches one at Mira who gets out of the way. She then launches the lasso again which entangles Mira’s arm. Mira pulls at Sabine forcefully right before punching her in the face. Sabine knees Mira in the stomach which breaks a rib but Mira quickly grabs her and slams her against the desk of the office room then using the magna cuffs to restrain her. Mira yelps in pain while covering her stomach and hanging her head. She aims her blaster Sabine....Her helmet falls off.
Sabine’s jaw drops upon seeing her own daughter. She attacked her own baby girl....Mira looks at her with bitter eyes of hatred.
“Mira....?” Sabine teared up as Mira looks in confusion.
“How....How do you know my name?” Mira asks her.
“Mira....Mira it’s me. Your mother! You don’t recognize me?” She replied. Mira could see the resemblance and has an expression the eyes of one who has been awoken to the truth. Mira picks up her helmet then puts it on. She gulps then limps against wall.
“Mira please....Please listen to me! I know you don’t know us but-” Mira turns around to Sabine in sad eyes before closing the door. She goes over to pick up her rifle on the ground as she continues to limp. Mira drops on the ground on her knees in emotional and physical agony....Her helmet falls on the ground. A range of emotions are going through her. She’s having a break down. The helmet rolls over to Ezra’s foot who looks in shock after sensing the fight.
“My face....Give me back by face.....” Mira pleaded to Ezra trying to cling to her loyalty to the First Order. Ezra walks towards her before she gets up then crawls back to where Sabine is...
“Don’t make me do this! JUST GIVE ME BACK MY FACE!” She warned before pulling out her dark saber.
“Mira....I know this is too much to take in. But listen to me....You’re Mira Wren Bridger. My daughter. I know you’re loyal to the First Order and all but you have to listen to us....” The door slides open as Mira walks away from Ezra. She leans against the glass window as it is cracked. She would rather die than join the traitors that are her parents. Ezra stops knowing Mira is thinking causing him to put down his lightsaber. Mira pulls out her blaster pistol and aims it underneath her chin as she quivers at the sight of the Jedi.
“Drop....Drop the gun Mira. We’re all here to help you. Just come with us....” Ezra begged.
“I....No...Just stay where you are!” Mira yelled with tears visible in her eyes.
“We’ve went all the way here to find you Mira! We’re sorry that we left you with Ketsu! Just please!” Sabine pleaded. Mira is close to pulling the trigger....But she doesn’t. Her hand turns numb as she drops the gun. Ezra walks over to Sabine so he can free her but the agents finally arrive via floor and begin shooting at them as Ezra quickly does it and destroys the cuffs with the two running away. Ezra pauses then turns to Mira who shakes her head at him before he sighs in sadness then runs away. The agents check on Mira as she gets up.
Mira sits on her crutches after the uprising. Her ribs will heal which is good to hear...Although she is still haunted by the reunion she had with her true family. The uprising failed as always and ordered has been restored. She goes on her computer to call Rey.....She isn’t answering. Mira places her face against her desk while sobbing....
Rey sits in front of Ezra and Sabine. She was taken in by Ryder Azadi after doing her shift.
“....We need to talk.”

18 of ?
A black, high pyramid tapering upwards marked the desolate, volcanic landfill that is Mustafar.
Jidné piloted the Scarab close to the transport shuttle’s tail, led by the Sixth Sister in her specialized TIE Fighter.
Jidné didn’t even realize that she’s held her breath even after getting through the atmosphere, the turbulence on her end was light, but the eeriness of the landscape captivated and frightened her at the same time—concentrating all her attention to the castle sitting by the edge of the black plateau. A single stream of glowing, red-hot lava resembling a waterfall accentuated the structure’s ominousness.
All three ships occupied the open hangar, albeit being a wide space. Jidné alights the Scarab and joins Cal’s side while he’s held by one Stormtrooper in the other.
Subtly using the Force, Jidné curled her fingers and willed the hool of Cal’s poncho to rise and cover his head. She was careful enough to make it go unnoticed by the Stormtrooper, but of course, it took Cal by surprise to feel his hood suddenly moving on its own. He turned his head to the only possible culprit—though she still didn’t look back to him, she couldn’t.
“The hot air here’s gonna make your head feel like it’s scorching,” Jidné mumbled through her cowl with the coil covering the bottom half of her face. She bobbed her head closer so her voice is still within the redhead’s earshot, making her more audible over the sound of the geysers spewing the said hot air.
Not once did she turn her head to face him as she spoke.
There was no response from him. She isn’t expecting one anyway. Understandably so, she immediately put herself in the mindset that Cal was furious with her. Though, he himself seems to contradict. His gentle surprise caused his eyes to remain on her, studying her feature and expression—the languidness on her face gave off the illusion that her laughter was a thing of the past, her dejected eyes slowly blinking and her head panning by the inch as she surveyed the castle and the landscape around it.
Cal, Jidné, and the rest of the Stormtroopers followed the Sixth Sister to the main door unprompted.
“Inform Lord Vader that we have the boy and that the bounty hunter is with us,” the Sixth Sister commanded the scout trooper manning the terminal.
“Copy!”
The scout trooper presses the button and spoke through the microphone head, relaying the exact words of the Sixth Sister. The door rumbled open seconds after the scout trooper concludes his announcement and they continued to follow.
The outside of the castle was one thing, but the inside was another story. Something about the interior made Cal and Jidné’s skins crawl—an alien feeling that they can’t describe, but somehow know of.
The Dark side of the Force.
The Sixth Sister has led them to the receiving chamber where Darth Vader meets those who wish to see him; on one side, there was a large rectangular slit on the wall facing the volcanic view outside, and in the other, was the door connecting the foyer and Darth Vader’s chamber.
All of them waited there. Even Jidné and Cal can feel the red Twi’lek tensing up.
The heavy creaking of the door caused everyone in the foyer to turn away from the window, smoke was spilling through once it went ajar, from a thin slit to a gradually gaping space until it revealed the tall figure, darker than the obsidian on which his fortress stands.
There mere sight of him shook the two young Jedi to their very cores. The monotonous breathing that filed the room has pierced its way to the hearts of everyone present and made their stomachs sink as if anchors had been tethered to them. The cool, poised façade of the Sixth Sister seemed to ebb, both Cal and Jidné sensed it, but the feeling’s mutual.
Darth Vader acknowledges the Inquisitor, Jidné—who he still believes to be a bounty hunter—and the prize in question, the Jedi boy Cal. He marched along the narrow bridge connecting the door and the foyer. As per custom, the Sixth Sister lowered herself to her knees as the dark lord approaches them. The closer he got, the more profuse the trembling became for the two young Jedi; only then did both of them truly have processed just how lumbering Vader was in size and the authority he imposed in his every step, in the slightest tilts of his helmet, and the blood-red glint of his mask’s eye sockets.
“My lord,” greets the Inquisitor.
“Rise,” he lowed rather disinterestedly. A slow sideways wave of his hand and the Twi’lek was quick to obey.
The Sixth Sister stepped aside to present the Jedi boy and the bounty hunter by his side. The Sith Lord stepped closer, Jidné’s elbows buckled closer to her sides while Cal’s already-clenched fists closed even tighter. As much as they wanted to avert their eyes to spare themselves from the terrifying sight of his mask, they couldn’t. In the end, they had to roll their eyes up in order to look at him in the eye, or at least through the pair of convex bumps that gleaned red when the light hits.
“Well done, Jidné,” Vader hummed.
Vader gestures at one of his personal bodyguards in that foyer—a Shadowtrooper: their armor was a glossy, jet black, perfectly blending in with the background whilst having a cloaking device that will mask their entire person. The Shadowtrooper approached one side of the room and what sounded like the latch of a trunk opening, he produced a storage canister—same as the one Jidné received for her upfront payment—he then activated a podium that erected from the floor at the touch of a button of his gauntlet for him to settle the container down. Performing a series of button patterns, he set off the lock to reveal that only a half filled the inside.
“That could only cover my fee, not the bounty price,” Jidné pointed out, maintaining character.
“Were you expecting a thicker stack? Or a second canister?”
“You don’t hear me complaining, m’lord,” Jidné blurted. “I was just stating the obvious.”
“Do not concern yourself over something that’s been considered done and covered. After all, you have accomplished what my two Inquisitors failed to do,”
She didn’t respond to the commendation, though Vader perceived her head hung low as she drew a heave of breath as a reaction. He then turns to the boy. The tension at Nur ran fresh in both of their minds—however, Vader was fueled by his recollection of the entire inconvenience that transpired in that stronghold.
Cal gets himself hauled forward to Vader, the Stormtrooper struggles to push the boy towards the large, lumbering figure that is the dark lord of the Sith.
For once, the dark lord has the opportunity to examine Cal without any lightsabers clashing angrily against one another. His blank, empty eyes stared right into the boy’s eyes—more alive than his could ever be—and Cal attempted to keep a brave face, despite repressing the shuddering that’s trying to break free from his body.
“Now, you will surrender the Holocron,”
In Cal’s mind, everything made better sense now. He turned to Jidné, and then to Vader. He managed a small smirk right in front of the dark lord.
“I don’t have it,” he muttered.
“Liar.”
Cal shakes his head whilst the smirk on his face grew.
“I really don’t,”
Vader’s head jerked to the girl, searching confirmation from her indifferent expression—he sensed that Jidné knew something as she continued to keep her head low and her eyes away.
“Then you’re hiding it somewhere,” insinuated the Sith lord. He looks at Jidné. “Tell me what he has done with the Holocron.”
Silence spoke on Jidné’s behalf. She rolled her eyes to Cal’s direction, avoiding Vader’s.
His short-lived patience is now spent. He hoisted his hand in level with Jidné’s neck, the air rumbled within the two Jedi’s radius, a heavy glom wrapped around them—Cal could feel its weight on him, but it was Jidné who had more of the receiving end.
She started to struggle in breathing, the gulps that she swallowed all lodged in the middle of her throat, the veins on her neck were pulsing as the muscles around it tightened. Jidné clutched her neck, hoping that rubbing it would make it go away—instead, she continued to gag, short breaths did not sate her lungs. Her eyes finally trailed up and found the root cause—Vader’s gloved hand is positioned into an open grapple directed in front of her. It didn’t take long for her to submit on her knees—in a moment, on one knee, and then the second in the next—her hand was still on her neck, clawing off a non-existent grasp asphyxiating her.
Darth Vader doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon… not until either of them talks.
“LET HER GO, SHE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!!!” Cal raised his voice against Vader, though that didn’t convince him and continued to strangle the girl.
Again, Cal took his voice to its peak, so much so that the words strained his chords, “THE HOLOCRON IS DESTROYED!!! I DESTROYED IT—NOW LET HER GO!!!”
The suffocating ripple of the Force coiled around her neck finally vanished into thin air. Jidné inhaled the deepest that her lungs could take—the biggest one she’s ever done in her entire life! She exhaled in coughs and fully collapses to the ground as she felt like her spine had turned into liquid. She breathed a few more time to reset her pattern before pulling herself back, little by little.
“Jidné…? Are you okay?”
It was a subtle nod that she did to reply to Cal. Her panicked heart still raced until she mentally willed it that she’s still alive and breathing.
“You…” Vader trailed off. “Destroyed it?”
“I’ve seen and remembered enough names when I opened that Holocron. If you kill me now, you will never get a single one of them!” Cal snarled.
Perhaps in a way to rub it in his face, Vader leaned closer to Cal until a mere inch of space divides the two of them.
Vader purred, proud of himself that he had outwitted the boy, “But I can get it out of you.”
“What are you going to do with him?” Jidné inquired, still trying to keep in character.
“That is not of your concern. You should concern yourself more with the second half of the bargain,”
Darth Vader promised the second payment to Jidné if she stays until Cal is brought to the torture chamber. The simple mention of that word made Cal’s heart beat twice at a time. He has only seen the machine when inactive in real life, he’s seen it at work but only in his Force vision of Trilla’s memory—he could think of a hundred ways how it would feel if it was he himself strapped to the machine.
The Shadowtrooper adjusting the canister an inch forward was supposedly a prompt for Jidné to take the money, but she didn’t want to take it. Blood money, she thought. Seconds later, Vader notices her hesitation.
“Is there something else, child?” Vader inquired.
“N-No… my lord,”
“Then take it,”
She clenched her fist to eradicate the trembling. His invitation for the girl to take the money was a trick challenge he’s imposed—should the Sith lord notice the fumble in her hands, his suspicions would immediately be proven true.
Eventually, Jidné’s fingers wrapped around the handle and pulled it away from the podium. She still could not will herself to look at Cal in the eye, presuming that she had truly betrayed him—if only she could freeze time, she would’ve shouted it until her voice reaches the very foundation of the building that she has fallen for him and that she doesn’t want to do this anymore.
Jidné slowly turns around, her back against everyone else, as she was dismissed by Vader himself so she can return to the hangar to hide away her bounty.
“I shall expect you in the torture chamber soon, Sheedra,”
That stopped Jidné in her tracks. Her grip around the handle tightened until her palms swelled. Ever so slightly, she bobbed her head to the side, one inch shy of showing her face over her shoulder.
“Understood.” She huskily replied, a dreary tone rasped as she spoke.
Eager to leave, she continued to walk away and succeeded in hiding the tears streaming down her cheeks as she takes every step.

Death from Above and Beyond
AU: Mira Wren Bridger or at the time as agent Mira joins and her teammates receive a mission to take down invading insurrectionists in the mountains. As always, Mira belongs to @meldy-arts. Inspired by the TIE fighters animated short.
Agent Mira sits alongside her teammates in the drop ship looking at her First Order-issue Mandolorian helmet. It resembles more of a super commando’s really. Beside her is Blackjack, a Mirialan agent who is the daughter of the Seventh Sister, she was born from a mother who left her in the care of her father who was a stormtrooper and fled the battle of Jakku to raise her under the First Order. Blackjack was given to her as a nickname turned codename due to her gambling habits and somewhat cocky attitude. A skilled sniper and CQC specialist, Thrawn ordered her recruitment after she honed her skills with an Inquisitor lightsaber. She is wearing an armored dark blue version of a deathtrooper armor.
Then there was Zuke, an explosives and support specialist, he wasn’t that bright but he knew his ways around explosives and heavy weapons. Zuke is silent but whenever he speaks, its something either wise or a smug comment. His armor is a First Order heavy armor that is twice his body size. Like all armor colors, his color is dark blue but with a red stripe on it.
Piloting the ship is Lena “Convore” Tua, the daughter of Maketh Tua. She was once a TIE fighter and the best there is hence why she was chosen. Smart and playful, Convore is the team’s mother in a way and cares for them even risks her own life to save her team. Her armor is a lightly armored suit that is colored dark blue like the others complete with a TIE fighter pilot helmet.
Then there was him, the son of a legend and a traitor to the empire but redeems his father’s name by joining the First Order-Kallus Jr. The son of agent Kallus Sr. He was recruited by the First Order while retaining his sense identity and works his way around things. Known for his relentless attitude, he is the leader of this fireteam he leads known as fireteam spectra. Back then it was only him, Lena, and Mira but the team seats began to grow and grow. His armor resembles more of a mix between a clonetrooper phase five armor and First Order stormtrooper armor at the same time.
The mission for today is to end an attack caused by the local insurrectionists the rescue and intelligence division has been fighting for years. They are waiting for a debrief from director Thrawn.
“This is strange....” Mira muttered causing Blackjack to turn to her with her eyebrow raised.
“What?” Blackjack replied.
“An attack from the insurrectionists, its....Coordinated. Most previous attacks were clumsy but this one was out of nowhere.” She replied.
“Maybe they have a new general on their side.....Or perhaps they have someone within the Resistance helping them.” Kallus guessed.
“The Resistance would never work for those monsters. Especially when they almost killed general Organa so their crazed child-killing leader could be the leader of the Resistance which then escalated to a civil war on both sides. We actually had to help the Resistance once also because they tried to use an defunct imperial chemical weapon project.” Zuke added.
“Indeed....Unless the Resistance has an intelligence officer. Call it a hunch but there is usually someone within a faction being the uber-black ops three-sixty no scope person within them. Which supports boss’s theory that they could have Resistance ties.” Blackjack smirked.
“Or they just starting thinking instead of killing innocent people in brutal ways to scare to us into submission.” Convore suggested.
“That could be it....You never know.” Mira agreed. The hologram comes up causing all agents to rise. Its director Thrawn. He is wearing a white uniform and cape also has graying hair.
“Agent, as you know the mission is to push back insurrectionist forces from our weapons facility. As you all know, the facility houses dozens of projects the First Order holds secret. If these fall into enemy hands, the results will be catastrophic.”  The Chiss said.
“Indeed....But sir, this attack is-”
“Unexpected. Coordinated. Very unpredictable. I suspect some kind of tie to an outside party that is not Resistance at all. Anyway, the insurrectionists are bombarding the base with artillery canons. Trapping our troopers in. I want your team to bring down those guns so our main forces can move in and finish the task at hand.” Thrawn thoroughly explained as the team nodded.
“It will be done sir.” Kallus nodded. All agents are loyal to the director in many ways, he inspires creativity within them and gives them the choice to be their own person at the same time. Something most stormtroopers don’t have unlike an agent. Agent training is varied depending on the recruit’s choice, they can pick courses like imperial super commando training, clone commando training, inquisitor training and many more sprinkled in with minor classes that will build up their own identity. Mira took up super commando training hence why she is so crafty with a jetpack and coupled with saber training with cyborg Kaleesh drill sergeant Smain.
“You heard the man, lets get out there!” He ordered. The floor opens to reveal an arsenal table rising. All weapons for each individual agent. Zuke picks up a  Vulk TAU-6-23 "Blastmill” rifle alongside his trusty rocket launcher. Blackjack picks up her inquisitor lightsaber and sniper rifle alongside her CA-87 sawed off shotgun. Mira picks up her traditional Mandolorian rifle, dark saber, and burst fire grenade launcher while Kallus chooses his standard AC280F rifle. After putting on their thruster packs, the hatch begins to open as they ready their weapons.
“Fireteam Specter, the light is green!” Kallus yelled before putting on his helmet which resembles a clone trooper one. Zuke does the same while Blackjack does also alongside Mira then jump off the ship. All around them is enemy ships utilizing old CIS models much to their shock but focus on the objective.
The group stays in formation while using their thruster packs to maneuver themselves.
“Coms check!” Kallus ordered as he glides in the air.
“Zuke online.”
“Blackjack ready.”
“Mira on the go!”
“Weapons free!” Kallus yelled. The team strafes to the left since there is a mountain in front of them and avoids it. An enemy drop ship rises in front of Zuke causing him to quickly activate his dome shield around him causing it to crash through the ship and destroy it. Blackjack uses her thruster pack to dash herself forward then activates her inquisitor lightsaber to slices up enemy jet pack troopers. Mira spots a sniper on a cliff as she is heading straight towards him causing her to quickly shoot him.
“Sniper down!” Mira notified. The group strafe up before landing on the ground while running. Kallus rifle butts a soldier in the face then gunning him down as Blackjack leaps in the air then throws her saber like a spear at a soldier thus impaling him before she pulls out her CA-87 to shoot another one in the face before picking it up and running alongside Kallus. Mira joins in with them as she activates her dark saber to impale an incoming soldier who turns to her but is decapitated instead before she switches to rifle and shoots two soldiers shooting at them while running and joining Kallus and Blackjack Zuke fires his weapon as he runs and mows down many soldiers along the way then switching to his rocket launcher to destroy a turret that was shooting at him before regrouping with Kallus, Blackjack, and Mira. An enemy gunship rises to shoot at them as they slide down to dodge its incoming shots with Convore taking it down.
“Thanks for the support!” Blackjack thanked. Another enemy gunship arrives but turns with the soldiers getting out but Blackjack jumps towards the opening to pull out her saber again then swings it to slice a soldier in half and pulling out her shotgun to gun down his captain right before pulling her grenades then jumping out while regrouping with her team. Zuke fires his rocket launcher again at a large group of enemies before grabbing one by the throat and slamming him on the ground before Kallus leaps over him and shoots two soldiers who were about to shoot Zuke then throws a sticky grenade at an incoming enemy tank which to whom Zuke avoids alongside Mira and Blackjack. The tank is destroyed with Convore dodging enemy fire and destroying ships at the same time. They run towards a cliff then leap in the air as soldiers turn around but they are killed by a hail of blaster fire.
In front of them is the artillery cannon firing at the base as the insurrectionists exchange enemy fire with the troopers within the base. Convore lowers herself to give them fire support which she does thus killing many soldiers and injuring more before a shot almost hits her causing her to fly off since its too hot. Kallus leads them as he fires his rifle at a dazed enemy soldier who regains his focus but he is shot in the chest instead right before grabs another soldier then flips him over and shoots him in the face. Blackjack and Zuke take cover as more soldiers arrive with Mira identifying them.....Partisans. Her eyes widen since she thought this group was killed in Jedha alongside Saw Gerrera. But now is not the time for questions. Mira and Blackjack leap over cover as Kallus and Zuke give them suppressing fire with the two pulling out their individual sabers. Mira slices a partisan’s gun half before impaling him while Blackjack slices one in half.  The last two are shot in the face by Kallus and Zuke.
“The artillery gun is upstairs, move it!” Kallus ordered.
“Alright, alright already!” Blackjack sighed. A surviving soldier gets up with his rifle raised at her head causing her to discharge her saber from her back to impale him in the chest.  The group head upstairs to the deck and into a hallway with a door in front of it. It slides open causing the group to drop their jaws at the sight on who it is.
Standing in front of them is space pirate Hondo Ohnaka.
“Well this is a very interesting team. I thought you were Knights of Ren back there.” He observed.
“Save the talk pirate! What do you want from this base?!” Mira replied.
“Riches untold, that sort of thing. Also doing a job for an old friend of mine and giving me those friendly gentlemen you brutally killed.” Hondo answered sarcastically. Rolling out near him is a group of droidekas, the insurrectionists use old Separatist technology to gain the upper hand.
“Hence why the insurrectionists are so coordinated. Partisan intervention.” Kallus replied.
“Indeed! Now excuse me, I have valuable data to send to. Take care of them boys!”   The droideka’s activate their shields and begin to fire at them causing the team to take cover.
“Shit, not these things again!” Zuke groaned. Kallus gets out of cover and returns fire then gets back. He looks around then up at the ceiling then blasts it.
“Mira, you’re the only one who can fit it! Eliminate Ohnaka before he uploads whatever he has in store to his contact!” Mira nods then is lifted by Zuke. She crawls through the ventilation while looking down on the firing droids before looking back up. Mira arrives in the room to see Hondo talking to someone.....Ezra Bridger.
“Like I said, those cannons-” Mira slams the vent open and aims her rifle at him. Hondo turns around with his arms raised.
“Okay then....Never underestimate an agent.” Hondo said.
“Whatever you’re uploading, take it out. NOW.” Mira ordered.
“I’m quite sure there’s another way. Maybe take a little bit of-THIS!” He grabs a concussion grenade which explodes on impact knocking Mira’s helmet away as she shoots the screen with Ezra on it who has a look of pure terror and worry for his old friend.
“Hondo! Are you there!?” Ezra cried.
“I am Ezra and-” Hondo turns around to see Mira unmasked with her helmet on the ground knocked off. His jaw drops at the sight....This is Ezra’s daughter. The daughter thought long to be dead but not at all. Mira aims her rifle at Hondo.
“You....You don’t want to do this.” His voice turns serious and almost pleading to her.
“What? You’re scared now?” Mira replied. Hondo aims his gun at Mira.
“No, I don’t wish to cause more pain to your family. Listen to me...I have something to say about you.”
“Hondo, what are you saying!?” Ezra replied on the coms. Before Hondo can open his mouth, Mira guns him down immediately before interrupting the connection by removing the data-drive connected to the computer.
“Hondo! Hondo! Can you hear me!? Hondo?!” Ezra yelled before Mira loots his dead body and finds the droid deactivation remote then picks up her slightly cracked helmet and puts it on. Mira deactivates the droidekas shooting at her team then heads out as they move towards her.
“Lets destroy those guns.” Kallus said before Mira nods. They head upstairs as the group guns down the crew. Zuke places an explosive device on it causing them to leap over the railing as he uses his detonator to set off the explosive thus destroying the guns. Kallus activates his coms.
“Sir, the guns have been destroyed.” He informed.
“I read you loud and clear agent Kallus.” Thrawn replied. Suddenly, the star destroyer known as the Chimaera arrives with a flurry of TIE fighters following it and open fire on the Insurrectionists. Mira is disturbed by the talk she had with Hondo.....What did he mean by family? She shakes her head as Blackjack offers her a fist bump which Mira gives her in return while Zuke does the same and Kallus too. Convore arrives and opens the hatch of her ship as they get in for a job well done.
