Legit question: what do you guys think is the number of population in the Devildom? Because in the beginning of NB Diavolo says this:
Which leads me to believe that it's not a whole lot.
Now, we know that demons are basically immortal, in the way that they don't die of old age like humans do. An example of this is demons who were alive even before the Devildom took shape and yet are still around to this day, like Barbatos.
So yeah, being a demon ( even if he's not nearly as old as Barbatos ), Diavolo has had plenty of time to meet many different other demons in his lifetime.
Another thing: we know that demons can give birth, given that demon children have been mentioned in past chats between the characters and of course, Satan & Diavolo exist. But...it can't be easy for a demon to give birth, because if it was then the population of the Devildom would be HUGE and Diavolo wouldn't be surprised to meet a demon he has never seen before.
So...what's everyone's thoughts? 🤔

Satan's Object
The House of Lamentation (8)
MC: I am going to have to return to the human world soon, but before I go, I would like an object from each of you that I can take with me and use to summon you.
Content Warning: implied nsfw in the last paragraph
Solomon must have told them about the ritual. It makes sense, actually; none of the pacts were made traditionally, not even mine. Still, I am honored that MC asked, because it means that they value the relationship they have with each of us.
Thankfully--and surprisingly, given how messy my room is--I find the perfect gift for MC in fairly short order. Now, I am waiting for them to arrive to accept it.
A knock at the door interrupts me from my thoughts.
"Hey," MC greets as they enter my room and plop down on my bed. "How are things?"
Better now you're here.
"They've been okay," I reply. "Nothing out of the ordinary, really. I'm glad you're feeling better."
"Me too. I'm still trying to get used to this thing, though." MC glances down at their hands, forcing me to notice the black metal ring on their finger. "I wasn't one to wear a whole lot of jewelry in the human world, and even when I did, I was able to take it off at the end of the day. This, however, has literally attached itself to my finger."
"Magical objects can do that sometimes." I sit down next to MC, gently grasp their hand, and bring it closer to me in order to get a better look at the ring. "I've always pictured the Ring of Light to be gold. I wonder why it's black."
"I haven't gotten a clear answer on that yet." MC gazes at me, and I momentarily lose my train of thought. Their eyes always have a tendency to put me in a daze.
"So, you mentioned that you found something I could take with me?" MC asks. I clear my throat as I remember why they're in my room in the first place.
"Right, yeah." Standing up, I walk over to a nearby shelf and pull down a simple-looking book with a worn cover.
"Do you recognize this?" I ask, turning the cover towards MC.
"Isn't that the book that caused you and Lucifer to switch bodies?" I nod my head, causing MC to develop a worried look on their face.
"Don't worry: the magic's faded now. Some might say it's worthless now that it doesn't work as originally intended, but for me, this represents something greater than that."
"Oh?"
"It made me realize that I am more than just a fragment of Lucifer's emotions, that I am in fact my own individual. I used to be so angry at him because I felt so inferior to him. No matter how hard I tried, I could never compare to him." I pause. "Those series of events also mark the time when I really started developing feelings for you." Silence. MC seems shocked. I take the opportunity to set the book down on their lap.
"I wish you didn't have to leave," I continue, sitting back down. "I know that you have your own life up in the human world with responsibilities to tend to, but..."
Why do I suddenly feel the need to cry?
"Satan." When did MC scoot this close to me? "I won't forget you. Just say the word, and I will summon you to me. I promise." They lean in and kiss me softly.
"You are quite the sadist, MC."
"How so?"
"You know it's going to be even harder for me to say goodbye to you now." This causes MC to smirk.
"Well then, I suppose we'll just have to keep kissing then." What? "It's going to take me a bit to learn summoning magic, and I can't risk you forgetting about me."
Fair point. Time does move rather quickly in the Devildom, especially compared to the human world. Plus, I'd be an idiot to deny MC's request.
Of course, we'll probably end up doing more than just kiss. After all, I've not been able to properly thank MC for helping me when I was under the influence of the syrup. I need to reciprocate at the very least.

how do you make new words in your conlang? like, is there any specific process you use to make up a good sounding word orrr
I try to really think about the object, and how it "feels" to Clan cats. If something is soft, I use soft sounds, if something is dangerous, I use growling sounds.
For animals, it's almost always a feline-ized onomatopoeia. For example, the sound of a wood pigeon,
Hoo-HOO-hoo(hoohoo) became "hoowoohoo" in Clanmew. They would call this animal by the sound it makes, because they are hunters. That's how they know one is in the area.
For plants, I consider its use, where it grows, any sounds it would make as the wind brushes it. There are two kinds of heather they would experience, so I have very different names for them.
Common Heather is tall, shrubby, used in construction and is fire resistant. So that one is "ssinb".
Bell Heather is fragrant, an attractor of bees and pollinators, and softer. So that one is "wish".

Hi! Forgive me if this is annoying but I really like Thyneron! I saw in your OC pic that both The Emperor and Gale are love interests. How does or did that work out?
Not annoying at all (come on, who doesn't like to talk OCs amirite). Sorry it took a couple of days to respond, I was busy!
Thyneron and Gale were together through the end of Act I to about the earliest bit of Act III. Thyneron really liked Gale, even for as quickly as everything happened, but constantly felt overshadowed by Mystra, and how Gale was clearly still hung up on her. Even when Gale turned from Mystra though, he immediately latched onto the crown, and while Thyneron supports him pursuing it, he felt that he would never actually come first in Gale's life.
Not least of all, he realized he wasn't as into Gale as much as, or in the exact way, he thought. Gale was comfortable, a reminder of his home life (raised in excess wealth and finery) before everything literally went to the hells. Someone he can sit around and share stories and good food with, but not someone that particularly pushes him to be more than he is.
Meeting the Emperor face to face put a lot of it into perspective. Because of his closeness and trust with the Dream Visitor he already had a connection with the Emperor, but they immediately had a very different and much more real chemistry than Thyneron ever had with Gale, and it made him examine how he actually felt. He and Gale get along well, but there's no particular spark or chemistry between them, so much so that Thyneron was just sort of passively going along with the relationship because it made Gale happy, and he wasn't exactly doing anything better.
Thyneron has had dozens of flings/one-night-stands, but only a couple of actual serious relationships. He's a bit flighty on the commitment side, but he did sincerely care for Gale. It was sad, but Gale felt a bit the same way. Gale never liked how dismissive Thyneron was about the Weave (Thyneron is basically "atheist" in dnd terms, he doesn't worship anything, and always thought Gale's reverence of the Weave was strange and unappealing). It was nice while it lasted, but neither regrets it, and they remain close friends even in the post game.

AU where Eddie is a radio host and Steve is listening to him every night.
Okok, so Steve found out about it once when he couldn't sleep and did go on a drive around the town to clear his head. And he's not a big fan of metal or rock (because that's the kind of music they play) but the host's voice is calm. Relaxed. Steve doesn't know himself what it is about that voice, but it makes him feel safe. So, every night he couldn't sleep or he would wake up from nightmares he would play the radio and listen to the host talking for hours. Steve isn't sure when he began imaginating that person being next to him, holding him close while talking about random things. When he began wondering how he looks, how he might be as a person...
Meanwhile Eddie is having the biggest crush on that one guy working at Family Video and he thinks both employees might like the same gender but he's not sure and he doesn't wanna risk flirting with the guy and get punched in the face and banned from the only place renting movies in their shitty town. So he's pinning hard. Totally not coming in there daily just to see the guy. Making a little bit of small chat with the girl cuz somehow he never gets the guy at the register and the girls always offer to help him up so he doesn't get to actually talk with the dude.
Robin 100% notices the guy comes daily and is a little sus of him, but she doesn't know if he's there for Steve or for her cuz damn is he giving mixed signals.
Yes Eddie complains about it sometimes at the radio, but makes sure to be vague enough so people wouldn't know he, a guy, is pinning after another guy. Meanwhile Steve is dense as fuck and can't connect the dots.
Is a whole shit show. They finally get introduced to each other via Jonathan Byer.

I find it interesting that Tinn seems to be the more female coded character in My School President. He is the dreamer, the romantic, the more submissive between him and Gun, despite being taller, which would usually place him in the more dominant role.
Despite being a Dreamer, he is not delusional. He is a teenage boy who has been pining after a classmate from a different social circle than him for years, constantly trying to be noticed by Gun, even changing himself somewhat - losing the nerdy look but not changing his personality - but constantly failing because Gun has been more focused on his music than romantic pursuits. He dreams of romanticised versions of what he wants to happen, but he lives in reality and isn’t ignoring the evolving relationship that him and Gun share.
Gun is definitely taking on the more masculine Seme role, now that he finally woke up to feelings (that may have been there for a while since the birthday flashback). He is openly and obviously flirting with Tinn (and making him flustered in the process) even if the are still taking things slowly while they get to know each other. They have both let the other know they like them, and they are both acknowledging the other’s feelings.
I will be interested in if Tinn’s fantasy’s lessen as the show progresses, and the real version of Gun becomes better than any dream Tinn has imagined to this point. We know from the dance sequence in Ep 3 that even if Tinn had to imagine the fantasy dance to get over the nerves of dancing with his crush, the dance that was observed by their classmates and teacher was just as romantic and genuine.
