Someone: “OMG you’re autistic!? You must be good at math right?”
Me: Um woah? Stereotypical much? (yes)

what if 1987 mona lisa was a teensy bit butch. as a treat. for me.
she borrows a suit from the turtles. it's dreadfully lumpy but only until raphael swoops in with a mouthful of safety pins, humming what can only be described as a ditty.
clothes were too much bother, before. just once she tried to wear a dress like the human girl she used to be; it made her feel even more like an alien in a fake body. like a pet lizard that some toddler dressed up. like her body wasn't hers.
which was, and is, arguably true, but mona had better things to do than stand there and feel it all sharp in her chest like that. people to save, piratical careers to extinguish. she left the dress behind.
the suit works, though.
maybe it's raphael's humming, utterly confident and absorbed in his self-appointed task. or maybe it's the fact that the suit is a new look; she's trying on a new self. the suit is a character choice, as is the way she carries herself in it, standing a little taller with a jaunty tilt to her chin. she rakes a hand through her hair.
somehow, like this, the green could be a character choice, too.

A person who went to Freddy's as a kid, got major trauma from witnessing a robot take a bite out of a guy's forehead but instead of being haunted by it they just have this hyper fixation on the animatronic chain now and they keep coming back to it every time they close and then reopen somewhere else lol
YES I KNOW THE FNAF TIMELINE IS WAY TOO STRETCHED OUT FOR THIS TO WORK BUT ITS FUNNY TO THINK ABT OKAY LET ME LIVE

the possibility of fnaf being canon to the r1999 universe is low but not 0
because if we know well enough about the fnaf lore- the idea of the ghost of a murdered child using an animatronic as their physical vessel, and seeking revenge, is indeed a possible arcanist concept in the r1999 universe.
do what you will with this information.

I don’t really ship 87 Ramona (although I do love the idea of them in a QPR) but. If they did feel romantically for each other it would take forever for them to actually get together, if they even do, in sharp contrast to the 2012 “we’ve known each other two hours now we’re committed for life” speedrun. Raphael would have fallen in love years ago but would not recognise this fact once. Mona Lisa is also part of the problem. She has a layer of superficiality she always uses as protection over her true feelings, so how does she even know her flirting is sincere? How would Raphael be supposed to know? She’d overthink it. Also she’s a lesbian so falling in love with your best friend is like mandated and agonising. She’d have accepted her fate and already resigned herself that it’s never going to happen. She’s just happy they’re close to each other. Meanwhile Raphael thinks “huh, I want to marry her” then goes about his day. This realisation occurs multiple times but he never reads into it.

Just like that, Leonardo is taking his hands in his and pulling him into a hug, swaying him back and forth where they stand. Michelangelo just cries into his brother’s plastron, because that yucky feeling of wrong not right bad just won’t quit bugging him, and all he wants is for his stupid stupid brain to cork it already. A totally messed up part of him is sorta grateful that it's this his brain got caught up on instead of the infinitely worse junk it normally does, but he pushes that thought out out out like a piece of old, beat up furniture.
