You battle your own thoughts.
Then get online to tell other it'll be okay.
I'm sure it is tiring seeing the same shit every day.
Or thinking the same thoughts like a song on replay.

The Incomparable Afeni Shakur
Afeni Shakur, was an African American activist, businesswoman, and mother of Tupac Shakur.
Born and raised in North Carolina, Shakur later relocated to New York, and was a part of the âBlack Panther Partyâ during her youth. She opposed social injustice and racial discrimination.
Afeni Shakur was one of the 21 Black Panthers arrested on the charges of conspiracy to carry out bombings at public places. A pregnant Shakur represented herself and was acquitted of all 156 charges.
She brought up her children as a single mother, but later got addicted to drugs. Her son Tupac left home and later earned a name as a rapper.
Afeni successfully overcame her addiction and reunited with her son. Her independent nature and revolutionary influences are reflected in her son Tupacâs lyrics.
After her sonâs untimely death she became a source of comfort for other grieving mothers. Traveling across America, she addressed gatherings and gave speeches.
We love and miss Afeni Shakur.

Today In History
Malcolm X, Muslim minister and human rights activist during the civil rights movement.
Malcolm X was the vocal spokesman for the Nation of Islam, and founder of the Organization of Afro-American Unity (OAAU),
Malcolm X was born in Omaha, NE, on this date May 19, 1925.
âWhen I am dead, I want you to just watch and see if Iâm not right in what I say: that the white man, in his press, is going to identify me with hate. He will make use of me dead, as he has made use of me alive, as a convenient symbol of âhatredâ â and that will help him to escape facing the truth that all I have been doing is holding up a mirror to reflect, to show, the history of unspeakable crimes that his race has committed against my race.â - Malcolm X
