How to catch Kirari Momobami's eye!

Things that would help!

Be a new student: As we know Kirari is a control freak that needs to be aware of everything going so when new student appear she'll probably do everything in her power to find out everything about them. If you're a first year and just enrolled for your first year you'll probably blend in with the rest of the lower classmen becaus3 she cant do extensive research on everyone of them but if you transfer mid year and you're an upper classmen she'll probably really catch her eye and dedicate her time to finding stuff out about you and maybe will even track you down and talk with you

Don't be scared or intimidated: She is used to people cowering under her gaze so if you show no signs of fear her interest will be piqued since you're 'different'

Be a woman: Girl is a lesbian so nothing else to say lol

Entertaining/Amusing: We all know she toys people for entertainment so being able to keep her entertained is a must. For her its easy to toy and manipulate people so someone immune to her teasing is quite interesting to her so what I'm picturing is that you tease her back which is something no one has ever dared to do.

Charming: carrying yourself with elegance is something she's definitely attracted to, being smooth is a must.

Mysterious: She's a master manipulator so she can read people easy, someone that she has no clue what they're thinking is interesting to her. + if she can't find any info about you

Bold: like I said before tease her back. Make her WANT you. Let her make the first move which is something she never does it will make her view you all the more positively.

"Well, I'm truly honoured you think so highly of me." She gave you a sly grin. "And what exactly was that rumour you heard about me? I like to keep my students on edge after all."

"That you're the most beautiful girl this academy has ever hosted but let's be honest you belong in the Louvre." You release her hand as you smile at her. Her eyes are cold and calculating but she puts up an endearing and polite front.

"Why you little... " She pretended to be agitated by your compliment. This was not the first time somebody tried to flatter her. She had become too accustomed to that treatment to feel anything about it anymore. She sighed, placing her hands on her hip. In the end she couldn't help herself to give back a smile. "You're a really smooth talker, you know that?"

"That wasn't my intention. I'm fairly certain you recive compliments all the time so it means nothing but truly I couldn't help but comment on your beauty, youre to breathtaking my dear."

You were right she often got compliments.

Her smile turned into a light snicker. She looked you up and down, examining you once again she couldn't figure out if you meant it or you were tryint to manipulate her, your expression was unreadable but you had a mischievous glint in your eyes.

"Your flirting skills are on point, Yoru, I'll give you that. Although, I don't believe compliments are the only way to a girl's heart. What's your tactic for those girls who don't fall for that type of talk?"

"You're the world's best gambler not to mention you invented the house pet system which is just brilliant by the way, humiliation and dehumanization are great incentives. You command respect, im just honored to be in your presence."

You could feel her eyes looking into you, judging whether what you said was true or not. Her gaze felt as if it was analysing everything about you, even the way you breathed. After a few seconds she smiled. "I see you really know how to win me over, huh? " She was actually really enjoying this interaction with you it was like a game. It's rare that someone had managed to intrigue her so much, she was unaware of your intentions she couldn't figure you out.

"I'm winning you over you say?" You playfully say. "That certainly wasn't my intention but I'm quite flattered."

She started to chuckle and couldn't contain herself she started giggling as her eyes sparkled. She was definitely enjoying you teasing her. "Well, I'm just saying you got all the right moves." She smiled at you , twirling her hair.

"You got me there. So, what? You planning on kissing my hand again, Yoru?" She laughed and blushed some more. She wasn't sure she liked this experience but she couldn't help herself being intrigued.

She looked at you, interested to how you would turn the tables on her yet again. She was definitely getting more interested in this type of attention you gave her. "You really know how to flirt, huh Yoru? Maybe I'll even let you kiss my lips."

"What about your lips down below?" You smirked. Usually she would be disgusted by such a comment but now you could see the blood rush to her face. This is what you get when somebody teases Kirari! Her, of all people, getting flustered. She was speechless, she could only stare back with an expressionless face...but her body was telling a different story, her cheeks a bright shade of red.

"I'm just kidding my sweet I would never be so crude." You cooed giving her a smug look

Her breathing became heavy as she let out a sigh. "Y-you-" *She sighed again but quickly recovered. "I-I don't know what to say after that." She was embarrassed. She felt her face warming up yet again, but she was smiling. You definitely got a rise out of her, she wanted to deny all you said but deep inside of her you really managed to hit the right spot. She was embarrassed at herself now and didn't know what to say now. You made her speechless and that's not an easy feat to accomplish so her interest only grew.

"Then I belive that means I've won our little game."

I dont know what to realistically expect when its time for me and my Daddy to have our first intercourse. Many of us, even when we logically know otherwise, still hold onto some parts of your brains that think that we'd be a "better sub" if we had the least amount of limits possible, or if we needed as little as possible from our doms and were able to make everything about their pleasure. But those are really toxic ideas if taken seriously so it's really important to resist those - at any/every phase of D/s in my opinion, but especially when you're new to sex. Even as a sub with a few years of experience, I still find myself needing to be more vocal about how things feel, or do more guiding when I am trying something new to me. I think it's healthiest for me to do that, though - so we try to prioritize being healthy over being as subbie as possible.

Right now, your partner can't possibly know what feels good to your body during sex because you have no experience with that yourself, so you don't really know your own body in that way...so he can't either. And with that being the case, the best way to explore your body and learn what does and doesn't feel good to you, is to let you do a lot of guiding the situation in your early experiences. How fast, how deep, what position or angle, etc should all be based on what feels best to you, in my opinion. So that will likely look like starting really slow, and then you letting him know if you want deeper or faster or slower or if the angle is uncomfortable or painful at all, etc.

Frankly, it may not feel super submissive if you find that you feel the most submissive when you're in a passive role. You'll be leading the situation somewhat....but submitting isn't all about being passive. Cautiously exploring your body together while giving him information about how it's feeling for you, is going to give him lots of great information that he can someday use to lead your sexual interactions more himself. So, I think you could still very much see the experience as an act of submission as you'd be serving your Daddy and your relationship really well by doing that. If you want to someday submit to his wishes and preferences in bed, that's awesome, but I don't think the first few times you have sex should be about that. You have to learn your body first and understand your body a little bit yourself before you can really give control of your body over to anyone else.

I'll also add that while it's understandable to hope your first time is amazing, I'd try to adjust that expectation a little bit. I'm not at all saying it's not possible that your first time will be great, because for some people it absolutely is. And I don't think you should have too much fear that it'll go terribly, because as long as you both respect each other and communicate (as it sounds like you guys do!), it shouldn't go terribly. But, there is a lot of gray area between 'great' and 'awful'. My guess is that most people's first time is more in the neutral or slightly positive area. But when you think about your first time doing anything else...it's kinda understood that the first time won't be your best experience ever with most things. The first time with most things is a learning experience and if that's what your first time with sex primarily is...that's still a really good thing that can lead you to the "fireworks and rainbows" feeling sexual experiences you want to have later on.

Wataru and Eichi's solo song analysis

-How did it connect together and the meaning of their relationship-(Part1: Eichi)

I'm literally crying, and there will be more tears after this...but I must...

If you're questioning why I delivered this analysis so late...uhm, it's long. But in short, I've to re-read some of the stories just to make some needed points and to make sure that the facts are true ( and all kinds of business randomly pop up on my schedule, haunting me for weeks! )

Before that, I need you to read some warnings first!

This is my PERSONAL way of looking at their characteristic, if it is not for you, YOU'RE FREE TO HAVE YOUR OWN IDEAL.

Even if you're an Eichi-P, an Eichi hater, or just someone who simply wants to know more about him, I welcome you all with open arms. No one is being banned here. But pls, if you don't like or enjoy the way I look and think of Eichi, do not send hate or make any big mess. If you don't like it, just stop reading, that's it.

I'm so sorry if there is not much information about Wataru, as well as a good look into his character. We don't have much information about him so...I need things to base on, a clue to know what up with him, but it is hard to even find one because he rarely talks about himself. So most of this analysis will be talking about it from Eichi's standpoint. It's funny how both rarely talk about their family and other personal stuff but since Wataru is around and always able to pull some lore out of Eichi's mouth, we get to know more about Eichi. Though, it was not the same for Wataru because Eichi have lot of respected for him. There had been multiple occasions when Eichi tried telling Wataru that he could open up to him but after some silence, Eichi just said: "It ok if you don't wanna talk about it." And they continued on with other stuff.

Alright, let's set up a map for this one because it is kinda LOnGGGGG

A small summary of young Eichi and how he came to know Wataru + during the war and after the war ended.

What thoughts do I have on Eichi being so in love with Wataru?

Into the song: About Eichi's solo then we'll get to Wataru's solo later.

1. A little summary!

Since this post is a goddam 4 song-analyzing post, it going to be hard for those who just want to get to the song part, so I made a whole different post for it!

If you're interested, go ahead and read the summary, if not, you can get to other parts. BUT, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU TO read it ( if you have the time to ) because it going to help you understand Eichi's character better and enjoyable view of his song and the connection he has with Wataru.

2. Some of my thought on their dynamic ( 0v0/ ✨❤️✨)

I'm crying in happiness to get a chance to talk about them. I really want to do this for a long time ago but never got the time to.

As I've mentioned before in part 1. Eichi is Wataru's biggest fan.

So, it is likely that Eichi loves him but also puts a distance wall in their relationship like how a fan is to their idols.

From the brutal war, Eichi thinks he had hurt too many people to be forgiving PLUS the self-hate and low-esteem, it is just like a knife that was already placed in his chest, after the war ends, it just goes deeper in.

Wataru visited him but it did not make Eichi cry in tear of joy but in pain, because to Eichi, now, no one would like to be with him anymore. It was a good choice to let Tsumugi go, so he can be free. It was a good choice to made that damn contract even if friendship is what needed to help a Unit grow strong.

That "Fine" was never a Unit in Eichi's eyes. It was nothing but a weapon he used to wield. To kill the innocent, carefree being, yet it was necessary.

An action he must took to made the school a better place. And he did, he succeeded but sacrificed himself in the process.

So, if it was not for Wataru, we would never have the Fine today. Heck! Maybe we never get to see Eichi again and he will become nothing but the dust of Yumenosaki's past.

And I was so in tears! Every goddamn time Eichi keeps on with that suspicious look, scare that Wataru wouldn't be with him anymore, that Eichi will be throw away like trash.

Like! Give it a rest buddy! He love you! That it!

And to that depressed little rich guy? Wataru didn't hate him or stay away from him at all!

He was also trying his best, like feeding a kid the food they hate but is healthy so Wataru have to keep trying.

He kept on trying and trying just to let Eichi know: "I'm here for you, and I won't run away, I won't hurt you, I won't betray you. I will be here, with you."

With that came! The shiniest moment of the two!

When Wataru literally gave Eichi his one and beloved mask that he wear all the time, just to let Eichi know that he'll always be here for Eichi.

I laughed so hard with Eichi just confused at the spot until others showed up.

Like, Eichi, yeh? Rich, smart, good looking. Yet just for a mask now placed on his hand and he getting all wonder in space.

Why? Because he was so sure about everything he thought! To him, his plan was perfect, to the man who wounded many, of course, he would never think that the plan in his head would not become true. He did it before, how can he fail it this time?

It couldn't go wrong, right? He thinks to himself but never did he consider it to be just some random stuff that he made up in his head and reality is different.

When he hear the news that Wataru participated in the actor test, he thought Wataru gave up on being an idols. Then went: "Well...look like he didn't want to be with me anymore. Look like he'll be come an actor."

Like...man, you made that up. You're sad because of your own thoughts then later on get confused when it isn't what actually happened.

This man is such a pathetic guy, I love him.

3. Song analysis:

Well well well, isn't it time *look at my watch*

Even though analysis 1 song would be great, I do, however, want to put 2 solo songs into this analysis then one.

Of course, we'll go slow and analyze one at a time, yet I can't stop but put both songs in one post because, in that way, we can see how both have changed, develop though still full of flaws, they have become something beautiful and will continues to grow.

Let's start with - SHINING STAR:

"A twinkling trace of a dream from beyond the horizon."

"Even though I understand...that it might just be an illusion"

Firstly, the name of this first solo is "SHINING STAR". It both mentions Wataru ( of course! ) and Eichi being the star.

But the two are described differently.

In these lines, mentions the appearance of an unknown shining star from beyond the horizon, a faraway star that shines bright.

But the more Eichi looked, as he thought it was all just a dream, an unreal feeling of this star that shine far in the sky. Because it was so beautiful, but how did he be able to find it here? Was it all way that close or was it all his imagination?

"Today with you, I continue to chasing it."

I said it already but let's say it again!

This man you're looking at is once a suicidal freak!!!

So gained enough confidence to live up to a "Today with you" is one thing, and actually find meaning in life "continue to chasing it" is another.

Because when you're in a state of depression, to once again find the meaning it life is HARD. When everything is already at its limit. When you can't feel anything anymore

Nothing but an empty soul, it hard. That is why depressing people don't do many things or everything at the same time. They try to find a way to continue living or decide to give up on everything.

Losing motive.

Yet Eichi was able to wake up and try to run away from this death of him. He might die from trying too hard, but he made the decision. To continue.

And who gave him the courage for this? Wataru! That is why, it was a "Today with you". Because Eichi still wants to see Wataru's show and witness the beauty of this magician.

I can't die yet! That's why he continues to fight. For everyone, for himself, but right at this moment, when the solo was released, at this moment, to him, Wataru was the first reason for he to continue.

As he's love for idols, pulls him back to life.

"Beautiful things are so fragile and ephemeral" "Permeating through your eyes, I reach out" "Oh, SHINING STAR"

Guys, I'll count from 1 to 3, guess who Eichi was singing about.

1, 2, 3!

Surprise no surprise! It was Wataru.

The shining star he mentions in some of the first lines, as it was far away but Eichi isn't that hopeless of a boy anymore, he shows signs of trying "I reach out".

He wants to be admitted and to be seen in his beloved idol's eyes. He wanted Wataru to see him and caught Wataru's attention.

Even if Wataru is already there for him, Eichi himself thinks otherwise, that he still has a long way to go. He can't just be at the winning spot without paying any price.

And for that, he was scared that he might hurt him. Like the things he did to Wataru friend, the Eccentric and the old Fine.

He was so scared of this beauty now coming so close to him "Beautiful things" he called it, the feeling he had when he was with Wataru, with the things he love yet never had a change to tough it is "fragile", this relationship can be broke if Wataru don't want to be with him anymore.

But, was Wataru's purpose for being here in was because of him or because Wataru wanted something from him.

He feels like the relationship they have is "ephemeral"

( if you are questioning: Ephemeral means lasting for a very short time )

"Underneath this starry sky" "An unknown neverending path continues"

My man is confusing

This depressing guy just recovered from his wound and was still a little confused over the new future he's facing ahead.

It's an unknown path, may be perilous, may be terrifying but he made his decision, he'll go on, he'll continue.

He knows that it will be uneasy. For he who thought that the next thing he'll be on is his deathbed, never knew someone would have the time and strength to take his hand and pull him out of that destiny deathbed.

His future was switched, and now he had to face a new unknown path that he knew nothing about.

"And for your sake" "I'll keep on shining"

"I'll be "SHINING STAR"."

And for the clown who needs a villain to lead his way, Eichi will continue to live until Wataru no longer wants him.

He wants to, no, he is a star, an unknown star that yet to be discovered. And after Wataru point it out for him, he understand that he is also some where far yet close to Wataru spot.

So, to catch that shining star attention, he'll have to be shining too!

Thought Eichi didn't seen to realize what it takes to become a real idol. His love for idols is endless and so does he's wish for a brighter future with Wataru.

And with that, for Wataru's sake, he keeps on living, shining bright as a star.

"Hiding your sorrow behind a smile" "You understand the pain of resistance" "A lifeless flower is blooming in the plains" "Such things make this world beautiful"

I will kill just to legally continue calling out these lyrics that Eichi sings about, all pointing to Wataru.

If you thought, yeh, Wataru can't be sad, he always looks happy. Then, my dear reader, you are wrong. Wataru can be blue sometimes, but it's hard to know since he just kept on smiling.

You can rarely find a moment where he puts down his mask, but it doesn't mean zero.

In Phantom Thieves and Detectives, after Knight and Ra*bit show, Wataru appears in the dark. But he seems...tired and doesn't really care to put on the face of a clown anymore.

This is not often, but there is also the time when Wataru points out other characters about the fact that they're wearing a mask too.

The reason Eichi can sing these lines is because he notices, he watches Wataru closely, for a long time, to the point he starts to realize that his beloved idols also have their flaws.

Since 2 lines are already about Wataru, so is the third!

The flower is Wataru, but instead of blooming anywhere else, he blooms "in the plains".

A primarily treeless place. In that way, it was easy to spot the flowers.

Standing on the bright stage, all along. The soulless flower bloom. It was beautiful, but the more you look, you'll find out, that this beauty is an empty one, it was a host but without a soul.

"Without hurting anyone, no dream can come true" "Without getting hurt, there's no way forward either"

"Oh, SHINING STAR"

Oh, I don't know, maybe in his household, he was being taught that you'll have to fight to win things over. Since he's a heir of a big rich household, of course, he gets the education to become one.

In this brutal world of humanity, to Eichi, the way he can win is through competition, fighting and sometimes you'll have to be tricky and stop playing nice when it doesn't seem to work.

He could have found a better way to make the school turn from bad to good, but it is not possible to win over such things without bloodshed.

With that in mind, turning the table by starting a war, and such education had already eaten into his brain from youth.

So in his way of seeing things, there are no dream if you don't stand up for a fight. If not pulling people down to get the first place in line, how can you do it? Nicely ask them to? Will they simply say yes or kick you down to the ground.

If you don't get hurt, you can't learn from it. And at the end of the day, you'll achieve nothing.

Wataru is a different star, and Eichi is a different star, yet Eichi is trying to reach out to him.

Silly science time! Did you know that two stars are really really far away from each other? Yes, the Sun is a star, but Earth, Mars, and others are planets, not stars.

Two stars can't be too close together.

The average distance between two stars in the Milky Way is around 5 light-years, or 29 trillion miles (47 trillion kilometers)

And even though all those constellations seem to a "standing close with other stars" and got connected into a line, they're in fact not, one might be far away from the other, yet they're all too far for our human eyes to know the difference.

Also, if you're wondering about the fact that two stars stand next to each other, they can but...they simply will pull themself close to the other and then go boom like a two-side car crash ( with both drivers being drunk a*s f*ck since they just get out from their daily local bar )

( it feels like that one time when I analyzed a Valkyrie song then ended up putting an whole a*s poem in it )

Yet, Eichi wants to get to Wataru, "Let's join hands", so we don't lose each other, so you would go too far away from me.

"The path ahead of you" "I shall light it up" "I'm your "SHINING STAR"."

Guy, no word needs to be said, you simply read and understand...

AAAAA, fine! I will *continue to cry my eyes out*, Eichi wants to light Wataru road ahead.

To Wataru, the little actor, the little clown. Eichi is out there, writing the script for him. Wataru want Eichi too, as at first he was unsure, but now? He wants to lead the way, he wants a future with Wataru.

So he'll light the way, he'll become Wataru's "Shining star".

"If you were to lose your way, I would certainly guide you back"

Like a lost ship in the sea, Eichi will be his lighthouse, leading Wataru back to land.

"You just need to believe me, and take a step forward"

I love you as my beloved idol, I love to show you're talent to the world out there, and let them know how beautiful you are. So please put your trust in me.

"Oh, SHINING STAR" "Our world is such a cold, yet kind place, continuing to revolve" "So in oder to arrive at a new tomorrow"

Eichi is still insecure about life, he had been taught that he'll have to stand up for himself. He had been taught that this place was cold and lonely.

Yet he was able to find love. Eichi was not so sure if that love would stay for long, but it did change him.

The world that he thought was a cold and terrible place was actually warm and full of joy.

He's not so sure to accept this love, despite that, he wants it to stay for as long as it can. Because of it, he was able to continue to live on, and arrive at the moment when he thought he was already dead by that time.

The lyrics repeat themselves, showing Eichi's determent to become a shining star, as bright as Wataru, so he can stay next to him.

"Oh, SHINING STAR" "Underneath this starry sky" "An unknown, neverending path continues" "And for your sake" "I'll keep on shining" "I'll be "SHINING STAR"."

AND NOW, Welcome our next Eichi's solo:

Crystal Pleasure !!!

Before we get into the analysis, I just want you to know. SHINING STAR had a soft and chill beat, it was slow and calm but also sad and a little misery once you read through the lyrics.

BUT HIS SECOND SOLO? Crystal Pleasure?

It had a jazz-like 90s vibe and such a happy beat! It shows his change, that he is no longer fighting for his life but actually filled with joy with the new and warm future where the path is now clear to him.

"Crystal Pleasure, let's burn some Crystal Pleasure into those eyes" "Crystal Pleasure, there's so many Crystal Pleasure, over and over again."

The beginning was POP!

Anyway, the first song was about shining stars, and this time, it Crystal.

Both are kira kira but one is up in the sky and one is down to the ground.

I got a little confused but I guess I'll use both meanings. Crystal doesn't just mean a type of gem or quartz, it too means glass, depending on the way you use it.

It is a "crystal quartz" but it can also be a "crystal clear glass".

If we're talking about the crystal gems that is, then the meaning is quite clean, since crystal is being used in decorating important places and objects.

To make something beautiful is to decorate it with shining gems.

The meaning/symbolization of those shining crystals is "transcendence and the light of the heaven". Yes, all over Eichi and Fine theme isn't it.

Now, I won't let you wait any longer, let's get into the song, shall we:

"The world is flooding with entertainment (competing for stardom)" "And as they compete, they become more and more extreme, wanting to be chosen" "Even so, those pure eyes remain as they seek" And all the white and black that I emit to be stared at dazzlingly"

It was not just about the idol industry, Eichi was trying to tell a story here.

That "they" was someone. Guess who? Wataru Hibiki!

The lines: "As they compete, they become more and more extreme" really stick out to me.

A silly jester, a genius, who wanted to learn from trick to trick and he was able to learn them quickly given that he was a kind of genius. An Eccentric member.

He is an actor, standing on stage, waiting for a director to choose him, to write him a script.

Eichi could feel the eyes of Wataru, which seek for a screenwriter, to write Wataru a brand new story, a brand new world.

Eichi then accepted Wataru's invitation and decided to be the one to give him his new plays. A new role, a new life, a new love.

"Let's take my hand because it's a miracle that I was able to meet you in the brightness" "And I hope to repose to that miracle of meeting you with my whole life ahead of me"

After all that time, after a suicide state of him, being saved by Wataru was like a gift from god. He knew that he had such a love for idols, that love almost died down, being forgotten but then Wataru came, reminding Eichi about why he was here in the first place.

"Meet you in the brightness" is like an angel, visiting Eichi by the window. The light from the window makes Wataru look bright, like the angel he is to Eichi.

Moreover, this line has some resemblance to the symbolization of crystal, remember it? It's "Transcendence and the light of the heaven" .

( What's that? Sound like the tiled of this song is already about Wataru? The whole song is! What can I say more than the homies are at it again!!!)

Wataru was his savior, and Eichi hoped that he could repay this gratefulness to him.

Here, it may be minor but it was a welcoming change! Knowing Eichi, he would likely try to repay Wataru with lots of stuff. His ways of love are to buy people things and make a big event just for something so small yet it was precious to him, so it was worth it.

Did I mention the fact that Eichi bought a WHOLD AS* pyramid for him just because Wataru joke? Yeh...I'm not lying.

But in this line: "hope to repose - with my whole life ahead of me"

It changes, somethings change. Staying with Wataru for long enough, his view of looking changes. Now, instead of buying him something, Eichi uses his life and quality time as a gift to Wataru.

Eichi "Buying things for you is want I want to, but then again, maybe, spending some time with you is the real meaningful gift" Tenshouin.

Also, a small detail but the "Let's take my hand" part, did you know that in Tempest, this adorable little detail takes place:

"I want to connect all the sparkling moments and make you happy" "Ah, as long as I am allowed to live, let me give you happy dreams"

The first line is when Eichi wants to give Wataru happiness, but the second? A little happy mix with sad.

"As long as I am allowed to live"

Eichi mentions his sickness, will the sickness kill him first or will he overcome it. He doesn't know, but as long as he's healthy, when he's still here, he'll do everything to make Wataru happy.

The times may run out, but before I die, giving you happiness is the thing that will satisfy my near-death soul.

To fulfill Wataru's dream is the first thing to do on his little bucket list.

"I think I know how to charm you ( this unyielding stardom )" "So if there's something I can do here, I vow to protect it"

Bit confused, but I read it ten times over and understood that Eichi finally accepted Wataru's love, he vowed to protect it, the love and hope that bloomed from this new relationship.

"Now, I want you to look forward to it, and determine the value with your eyes" "This dream, love, and freedom that I draw now became strong and full of color"

I would like to have a call back to another line in this song, it was "all the white and black that I emit" given that these lyrics are talking about the freedom of Eichi's soul.

From a soulless human with just black and white, now his world is "full of color", filled with love and hope, this dream that seems to be lost has come back to life.

"Let's visit you into the brilliance, towards the tomorrow you desire" "Let's be a little greedy, there's no need to hold back"

Eichi will give Wataru the stage to shine, into the world of light that Wataru wants.

This dream was never about Eichi, and that's what makes it about him.

Since the day Wataru saved him, his love of idols has once again come back to life. Being able to make Wataru's dream come true was Eichi's desire all along.

He views that his wish is a bit too greedy, knowing that it will take a tedious process, but he won't stop, he has been in the darkness for too long. Now he wishes to see the light and get used to it so it won't blind him.

The wish to see Wataru shining like a star with his own two eyes. So Wataru, please don't hesitate, though I'm quite the greedy, I hope you'll be happy to see me, staying here with you, your happiness is my light.

"Connecting the precious time, we are the protagonists on this stage" "While blessed by countless stars, let us sing our never-ending dreams"

So some of you may not know about this but, interesting information: Both Eichi and Wataru, one ( or 99 times more ) admit that they're the villain of the stage.

Yes! BOTH.

Eichi was in pain and after the war, he admitted all the faults he had and told himself that he was the evil villain of the show, even long after the war ended, he still thought it that way.

Wataru is a bit different, the exact time was never mentioned, but clues are all over the place. Wataru admitted to Tomoya that he usually plays the role of villain. And, it made sense since Wataru passed constraint to him being asked to play tricks, he likes to do tricks and magic, but the people, they always ask for more.

Wataru was scared, but he continued anyway, he continued to learn new tricks, but that was not enough

He didn't go mad and start taking the role of a villain though, it was never clarified. But I don't think that was the case, not at all.

Wataru was more likely to take the role of villain because he wanted to step back and out of the light of the stage. Of course, he is still there, but not in a heroic way anymore. He didn't mean to but he wished people to look away from him more often than before, though, in the end, it was quite the opposite, he made friends and lots of people admitted him.

Even Wataru never expect this to happen. In the "Phantom Thieves VS Detectives" story, Epilogue 3, he said this: "But believe it or not, the amount of friends and acquaintances I've made since entering Yumenosaki Academy have surprisingly increased in size."

They're both villain in their own story, but later on, after many hardships and challenges, they learn and understand.

The two are no longer the villains but the protagonist, the protagonist of a story where they get to stand together on the stage.

And with the Fine now, they'll stand together, with Tori and Yuzuru, sing the never-ending symphony of their dreams.

Here comes, my favorite:

"Determination alone is futile, but you are there, the one who saved me is you" "Because your passionate gaze gives me the meaning of life"

Eichi literally went: "Only by trying is not enough, if not for you who had saved me from the darkness, I would've been gone." to Wataru.

Also about how Wataru gives him the biggest motivation to keep living and doesn't "kick the bucket" due to sickness or several suicidal attempts.

And, it ends with other lines got repeated:

"Let's take my hand because it's a miracle that I was able to meet you in the brightness" "And I hope to repose to that miracle of meeting you with my whole life ahead of me" "I want to connect all the sparkling moments and make you happy" "Ah, as long as I am allowed to live, let me give you happy dreams forever"

Alright, this is the end of part 1, Eichi's solo song. We'll now move to part 2, which I'll make in another post.

So I want you to know that I wrote this with all my heart that I pulled out of my chest. I love them from the bottom heart of my.

I don't need you to forgive Eichi or forget what he did in the past, this whole analysis was not made for that purpose, I just need you to understand that he did, in fact, lots of bad things in the past and he got his punish, it a punish to live on, to learn and suffer with the future. But Wataru was there, helping him out, so he's not that scare anymore.

If anyone ask me to tell them they're homo but without telling them they're homo, I'll show them this long a*s paragraph ( I'm so proud of myself for writing this but also asking myself that I should be out there making money instead...but I'm feeling great after written this so...maybe it not that bad )

STAGHUNTERS NEOCITIES WEEE

Figured I should make a new post at this point because the other one is getting too long to keep reblogging. I've been tinkering away at the site and it is shaping up! Here's a lil page by page tour under the cut

Splash screen!

It's a little bumper so the css can load without it scrabling the home page. It looks alright, but to add some more text to the image, I have to make a new one in the death screen generator, which is not ideal.

The home page!

I've changed the middle window so it fits in better with the rest. Not very visually exciting there in terms of color, but it is for now the best look imo. Text there is aligned justified, I've condensed it a bit more and added the randomized quote section underneath it instead of it being a seperate window on the side.

To do list needs an update but is still accurate. The team is still there, but on the other side, I have set the blinkies to be a bit larger. The music player has been removed because I couldn't find a way to add songs to it that weren't included on the source site. Snufkin is here now. The webrings will need some more. Retronaut is there, but not functioning as it should. it just forwards you to random sites in the ring instead of where it should be, but I can't find what exactly I'm doing wrong with the code.

Another thing that is not working on neocities itself is the "last updated" part. For some reason it doesn't display there what it does display on my local html. Maybe a bug at neo.

And icons at the top on the nav par! Adds some more flair to the place. The footer has also received a minor update: it now has a sitemap link instead of another back-to-home url.

About!

I'm thinking of moving the small window with the short info to the right, but it is here for now. Links that are web-building related are on the right, also for my own referencing. The essentials lists on the left are hidden on load, but can be revealed by tapping the puttons. The lists are in tree-view and the window shouldn't expand over the cassette image once the construction sign is removed. Speaking of, the cassette has a lil playlist.

I might expand on the info a bit more, but that is for me to ponder. I liked including links to tumblr, the guestbook, and a button in case anyone wants to link my site on theirs.

Writing!

Hasn't really changed much. I've been looking at moving the sidebar info to be in the main section upon load, but idk if that would just make things more complicated. Right now it loads to an empty section there, stuff appears once you click a button. PDF support is only available once I'm a supporter of neocities, which i do wanna do but isn't a priority atm just for getting this part running. The links to ao3 will do just fine for now.

Journal!

The space for my rambling. It can be browsed by entry through the post-it, and all that seems to be functioning alright. Added a kitty and a sticker for decoration. The Stop Making Sense bumper sticker will now load a local video of the performance, but once again I won't be able to add this to the site until I get a supporter thing going. It plays/pauses on click, hehe.

Basement!

Decided to add a page for it. Basic info, schedule, link to the room, my letterboxd, and an overview of past movies. It's a nice spot on the site that is also the most cramped, but I like how it turned out.

As for the other page: I might be filing it under the writing page as a section, since the only thing here is WvW atm. It's cool that it has it's own thing, but I'm not sure if something that is basically a fanfic warrants such a space. That, or I keep it and drop all my other-media stuff in here so there's more to look at.

That's it for now! I got some ideas on how to continue, but they're not super-duper set in stone.

disclaimer: in my Ideal Type readings, I look into what the person in question is currently (consciously and unconsciously) attracted to! it's not necessarily their perfect match or the one they will end up with.

✦ Impression (What is seen externally // Might not accuratelly represent the person):

My first instinct when seeing this spread was to say that Mark feels attracted to people who look either similar to him, particularly style/vibe wise, or people who look like they might have a lot of similar interests to his. There is definitely something here about him recognizing a common ground between himself and this person, or the potential for them to connect over an interest/trait of his (this leads me to fashion, music taste, movie genres, favorite spots to hang out at, etc… just normal every day stuff). At the same time, I do feel like people who seem like they know a lot about a particular subject and are always willing to explain it or teach it to others would also catch his attention easily. For example, if he was sitting at a park and randomly saw someone teaching a friend how to play guitar, it would immediately peak his interest - it's as simple as that, honestly. Furthermore, skill and intellect might as well be traits that he enjoys recognizing in someone at a first glace, and not just the generosity of teaching what they know. His ideal type could perfectly be someone who he sees carrying around big technical books, sketchbooks or notebooks, or even - and if we need to get more specific -, a house model or something of that sort. Nonetheless, and whatever the scenario is, this person should always have a bright, easygoing and approachable energy overall. People who seem easy to get along with even if they are more introverted, are very much his type, for sure!

Mark's ideal type is someone who's practical, grounded and most likely keeps a list of personal goals they hope to achieve both in the near and far futures. They may be very good with money and be career oriented; and they may as well opt to keep a realistic view of life instead of daydreaming too much and aiming too high with their goals. Moreover, they could also be the type of person that takes their health and well-being very seriously, and do everything necessary to make sure all is kept in perfect condition. This would be the friend you'd run to when you need to get your life together, and by simply spending time with them or visiting their house you would feel motivated to do so. They live well, take good care of themselves, and work hard to make their life even better in the future to come. However, they also come across to me as a big worrier. As much as they are practical and careful, they are also perhaps a bit paranoid about random things like their clothes not being superbly ironed, or not having eaten enough vegetables that week, or even being overly concerned that they left the living room window open and bugs might get inside the house. Specially when it comes to appearances and being out in public, they could have a lot of anxiety over not wanting to look bad or, on the other hand, not wanting to stand out too much from the crowd. They just want to everything about their life to be perfectly stable and controlled. On a brighter note, Mark's ideal type is also someone who's still quite open, affectionate and, probably, very intuitive. If someone was seen crying by themselves nearby them, his ideal type would immediately go offer them help, a shoulder to cry on, or a hug, if they wanted it. It's not about them caring immensely about people (although, obviously, we hope they do care about people), but it's moreso about them being able to recognize when someone really needs something even when they either can't or won't verbalize it - of course, this may apply to situations concerning strangers, as well as their friends and family. Truly, they can just very easily understand what's left unspoken, simply by looking around and taking in the energy of their environment. Thanks......my writing gets a bit weird when I'm sick so it might not be the most readable but like- Im so normal about the 0506 parallels Im so normal about them- I've written a Normal amount about the ways Shidou projects onto people and how he causes harm through that because he's ignoring what the other person wants and instead prioritizing His Own feelings and emotions

(My emotions are out of control, that’s inconvenient? I don’t care!)

But I was really sad about not being able to include Mahiru actually in the savior-victim post!!! Cause she does this Constantly! The whole of her first T1 VD is her making Es Increasingly uncomfortable because she won't Listen To Them. She doesn't Care about how they feel because Mahiru is focusing on how much She views love and she believes Everyone wants a romantic relationship even if they Just Dont Know it Yet.

(Funnily enough I'm aro so Mahiru's talking points make me extra uncomfortable in a way.)

Mahiru believes in an Ideal of romance, so when she interacts with Reality and the complications of it, that ideal breaks down. Because nothing can ever really truly live up to the fairytale ideal of romance (nor Should It, since those ideals tend to have some Extremely Horrible and Unhealthy versions of love and gender and sexuality that is damaging to people)

Mahiru says herself she can only speak in cliches. She's not Engaging with how love and romance actually are, she's engaging with the Ideal of love and romance she was raised by society to believe in.

This causes some Severe Conflict with her boyfriend. Mahiru Outright states she guilt trips her boyfriends and gets upset when he doesn't comply with her.

If you don't hug me, even our hearts will start drifting apart

This is Bad Behavior no matter what kind of relationship it is!

Y'know-it surprised me that people went with the stalking theory in T1 because if I wanted to campaign a reason why she should be voted guilty I would of pointed out her Abusive Behavior.

Because that's what this is! And it's hard to accept that when it comes to Mahiru! Because Mahiru is Kind and Sweet and Loving and Prioritized Her Idealized Version of Love and Her Emotions over Her Partner's Feelings.

It's easy to see abusers and people who engage with abusive behaviors as evil people who wake up one morning and decide to hurt someone. But that isn't the case a lot of times and I think it's important to recognize that!

Shidou and Mahiru project onto others and are callous as a result. But it isn't out of Malice, and I think that's really cool of Milgram to write them like that.

You mentioned that you've finished writing Gobelins, and I'm wondering if you're gonna raise money to produce it, or do it out of your own pocket? Either way, I'm very excited to hear it, hope your op goes well!

Thanks for a great question! There's definitely gonna be an Indiegogo fundraiser at some point before I start production, but the scale of that is going to need to depend on what my life is looking like at that time. In other words, when I’m physically able to devote time to the album again, I’m going to have to assess my capacity before deciding the scope of the project.

Basically, there's an "ideal" way I'd like to make Carnaval des Gobelins, with a physical edition, cool merch for backers, guest musicians and liner art commissions. I think it's gonna be the most satisfying experience for listeners and the best move from a "growing my business" point of view - producing that kind of stuff gives me a chance to order excess merch and another little revenue stream, which would take me a little step closer to making this my main job. But, it's also a big project to manage and as much as I want to do it that way, I'm not gonna bet on being physically well enough to do that until things are clearer. I'm pretty dang ill.

Then there are other options - like limiting that stuff to a digital version for Bandcamp and streaming, plus physical CDs that are a bit more pared-down in terms of liner content. And on the other side of the spectrum, there's just producing a digital album, like I did for The Wassailant, which while still a big project would be logistically simpler and would require the least amount of funding.

I'm going to run a fundraiser no matter what the scope ends up being and the reason for that is that I'm handling the production for C des Gs alone, in my studio. I have a great set-up and good technical knowledge nowadays and can make stuff with much higher production values without the spiralling costs of studio and engineer hire. However, to get the album done, I'm going to need to treat it as a part-time job for about a year and so I'm going to have to find a way to help me through that time financially. The reason I was able to finish The Wassailant within a year was because of all the time spent at home during the pandemic! I'm not going to start production until I find a new part-time day job anyway, so I certainly won't be trying to raise the sort of money to depend on! But I probably will be earning less from a day job while I work on the album and I will need a small amount to supplement that/keep for emergencies if something goes wrong for me in that time - so that I don't have to halt production part way through.

So the low-scope, digital-only version would still be a crowd-funded affair, just a fairly low scale one. For the big one with all the cool rewards and awesome CDs and everything, I guess my other mini-worry is I don't actually know whether the funding goals I’d have to set to produce all the awesome extras are actually realistic to what people can afford. I don’t know if I could fund a project at the same level as a Mechanisms album for example, because I don’t have the same reach the band did. But we’re probably looking at something comparable, cost-wise, to The Bifrost Incident (but closer to its goal, not the final amount it was pledged) to produce the “full scope” version. Plus, the last time I ran projected costs for the project was before the cost of living crisis, so I don't know right now whether the CD/merch suppliers' costs will have increased.

I genuinely feel a ton of support and goodwill from people like you who really want to listen and I know there are plenty of you! But also I truly don't want to assume anything from you, so we'll have to see how realistic it is to make the full bells-and-whistles version, financially or in terms of my capacity, nearer the time. The way I'm feeling as I type this is that I may run the Indiegogo with a lower inital goal and just a couple of reward tiers (aiming to fund production and release the digital album and a simpler physical edition) and try to do some of the other stuff like an expanded liner or producing merch (and making merch available at discounted rates to backers who want it) as stretch goals.

And I made contingency plans for the possibility that one day, Zoissette's story might end, for whatever reason. So while Quinnelle may not ever meaningfully exist, she's still there, in my head, causing trouble and making fun stories.

With that in mind, Quinnelle Vidalle, the fastest of the fast couriers in Eorzea, ready and standing by, one Fantasia away when Zoissette finally bows out of the spotlight. (Importantly, this lets me keep all the stuff on a new character, and Quinnelle is designed to be able to nick in as a replacement WoL easy as you please)

What does their bedroom look like?

Piles and piles in different places on the floor. Single small bed. A potted plant that died probably before the last calamity. Cobwebs everywhere, what do you have a problem with spiders she likes spiders spiders are friends. That one's named Jeorgeaux.

Sexual orientation is yeah, sure, if she's bored. Finds discussions on such faintly boring and nonsensical though. Swive who you wanna if you wanna she don't give a shit. Also gender is bullshit.

About the only thing they keep neat and clean is the uniforms in their closet, and they are -picky- about anything doing with mail, they take that shit stone cold seriously. Everything else is whatever. Knows she'll be perpetually late if she lets herself be so, so instead shows up early and just bitches.

What is their biggest regret?

Regrets are for people who aren't charging forward half enough. Any given day generates a few dozen small regrets that she usually forgets within the half hour. Can't have regret if you're always rushing to live in the now.

What makes them feel guilty?

Okay, fine, they'll feel guilty over not meeting obligations, like getting packages to the right person or mail to the right place on time or missing muster or that one time she plumb forgot she was supposed to meet a guy for a date but look it was a really good triple triad game okay she won a plushie she'd wanted for a long time out of it his name is G'george. The plushie, not the date. No, she doesn't know how Sun Seeker names work, the Moon Keepers are far more personable in her opinion.

Superstitions or views on the occult?

She believes in every single god and goddess and holds any of a number of tiny little rituals for each one every day. It doesn't matter that some of those belief systems contradict other ones; she's not telling the gods, and nobody else should be either, and what they don't know won't hurt them. Definitely believes in hedging her bets in this regard, so there's always a deity to call on in a moment of trouble.

Primals are just assholes trying to get in on the god action though so swive 'em. But not literally. Well maybe Ifrit. He's hot. That's a fire joke. Get it? Hahah but no seriously.

Someone who would put up with her shit. I mean, swive, that's the only way it'd possibly happen, right?

(Pen pal from Micah to Cricket) Greetings, This letter may be a bit of a surprise, but allow me to explain. I'm a studying wizard of another realm. So far, I've only been able to observe other realms for short periods, and just send things back and forth. Long story short, seems like we're both in need of some friends. (My mentor won't stop nagging me about it.) Not to mention, seems your city is in quite the odd predicament. Then again, I'm in a world where fairies and giants exist, so who am I to compare? I suppose I ought to introduce myself. My name is Micah Cyprus. I'm studying a variety of magic, but have taken a liking to elemental and druidic magic. I have many animal companions, as well as my mentor Rhydian and my family. We live on the outskirts of Stellaris by choice, at least nowadays. Being poor has its own set of perks. You get to learn a thing or two that others don't. It's all about perspective. And speaking of perspective, and I hope it's not a rude question, what's it like being small? First of all, this is probably the coolest letter I’ve ever received! And it’s even sized for me! That’s so considerate of you! I hope my handwriting is big enough for you, I assume your the normal size a human should be? That’s around bracket three right? Like four to seven feet?

Second of all, yeah, I’ve been in some need of friends. Since your from another dimension and you know things about me that I don’t talk about I assume you’ve been watching me? If so, please don’t tell anyone about the situation with my household. I am perfectly fine on my own and will be out of this situation soon enough!

Third of all…MAGIC?! I have a friend who uses magic too! His name’s Auster and he says the kind of magic he uses is called stregoneria! It’s a bunch of stuff with oil and herbs and charms and saints and stuff. I don’t understand a lot of it but I know that it works! He uses it to heal and to help people get good luck. What do you use druidic and elemental magic for? I assume elemental controls the elements, but what does druidic magic do?

Your right that being poor has its own set of perks. I look at my bigger richer friends and their problems and it’s so weird. ^ In New Royston those are the same thing, sorry! My giant friend Gio has a lot to live up to and he’s kinda scared of his parents. If you go through all the effort to be rich, why wouldn’t you want to be nice to your kids? And then your kids can get the money and make more money and pass it on to their kids and your set.

But I don’t think I’d give up being small. Ideally I’d like to have money and also be small. I’ve never really been big before, but I don’t think I’d like it. When you’re small, everywhere takes longer to go to and everything’s colder (Gio says it’s because we ‘have less internal organs compared to our skin’? So we put off more heat than we make) but when you can’t get to places so easily, the places you do go matter more and look all the more beautiful from a worm’s eye view. And when everything is so cold, nothing compares to the warmth from baking bread or being held in a pocket or a giant’s palm. And you learn to be there for other small people. I really hope you can learn a spell to shrink, I think being small is something that everyone should try once if they can. If you can’t, then I hope you can find a friendly giant in your world!

I do like animals, but I don’t get to meet a lot of them. Birds and squirrels are scary, and I’ve heard that bigger animals might try to eat me, but I’d love to meet a dog sometime. I’m a much bigger fan of bugs. On my friend Monty’s bug farm, I get to help take care of woodlice, dragonflies, crickets, all sorts of stuff! I’d love to hear more about your animal companions. There are two kinds of (german) hobby writers:

The ones that think that you only can grow with as much criticism (constructive but on the 'you have to work on that' side) from other hoby writers as possible

And me who thinks that encouraging someone to keep writing helps far more than telling them what they suck at

I'm a bit tired of the first view. I know I am not the greatest writer in the world, but I also know that I am able to touch people with my texts. And I didn't come this far because of the approximately two actually decent pieces of advice I got over the last 20 years of publishing in online writing communities.

I came this far because of the wonderful people who cheered me on and kept me writing for the last 20 years.

I know in an ideal world it is a mixture of both. But honestly? The criticism from other hobby writers isn't the holy grail they try to make you believe it is.

I don't know why so many people think that they get better if they just get enough criticism. There is no magic point where you have heard it all and then end up to be a good writer. As long as it is just a hobby and not a job, the most important thing is that you have fun doing it. If you end up thinking about every word and every sentence all the time, try to make everything perfect, try to take every piece of advice you ever got into account, what you are doing will become exhausting and nothing else. You will never publish anything because nothing is ever good enough and you (ironically) won't get better at writing.

Getting better at writing means that you actually have to write something and if possible to make it to the ending. You also have to learn to like the sentences you bring to paper. Nothing ever will be perfect. Criticism is good for finding stuff you have a blind spot for. Plotholes, a style decision that is very annoying (for example being prone to write too many 5 word sentences in a row) and stuff like that. But if you just started writing, you don't need that. If you just started, the first thing you have to learn is to actually write a story. You don't have blind spots yet, because you only get these with experience.

And when you actually wrote some stuff, be it long or short stories, be it beginnings or just a scene or a whole book worth of words, then it's worth to start exploring new things. But I would still not recommend criticism from peers. Instead I would adivce to search for general tips and see if you want to adopt them. Tips on how to structure a story, how to begin a story, how to plot, how to craft characters, how to do story arcs... whatever you feel might be helpful to you.

Then you write more and try out those tips. Either in dedicated training or just by writing more and keeping the tips in mind.

Only after you did that it is worth to seek out actual criticism. You have a solid foundation, you feel comfortable with your writing, you like writing, you have some confidence from the people who liked your stories so far and you might actually know what you want. These are critical things you need to be able to actually work with criticism and throw out any kind of advice that doesn't fit for you.

When you got a bunch of advice, go back to writing for fun. Do some exercises to improve on the things others critiqued and that you actually want to improve on. Maybe research tips again for improving in those areas. Get yourself more positive reactions from people who like your stuff, see how your fanbase slowly grows, how people are coming back for your stories, because they start to like your personal style and not only one of your stories.

And after you did that for another while, go back and get yourself criticism again, if you still see the need to. If you feel comfortable with your level of writing, that is okay too. It's still a hobby, not a job.

I know this advice isn't for everyone, and I am not trying to crap on the german hobby writer community, I am just very tired of that world view for a huge amount of time now. I love my fellow writers ♥ I am just seeing too many people quit a wonderful hobby because they put too much pressure on themselves.

No one seems to get my point. 'You can't improve without feedback'. You actually can. And positive and encouraging feedback is btw. still feedback.

If a person thinks they are the greatest writer of all times because they only get positive feedback, but their writing actually sucks, that person was still good enough to make people tell them how much they loved their writing. And the writer is happy. Why isn't that enough?

Not to mention that ciriticism from peers is not always good. I saw people say 'Show don't tell' for years before I looked up that technique myself instead of just assuming that I knew what they meant. And you know what? A lot of people were wrong to give that advice or apply it like that, because they didn't really know what they were talking about.

I saw people asking for advice on how to best approach a specific kind of prologue and the only advice they got was that 'prologues generally suck and you shouldn't do them'.

Criticism is not the be all end all and it can be more destructive than helpful. It's one of many tools to become a better writer, but that is it.

I'm tired of people thinking that you can only improve if someone points out all your flaws.

thanks so much for your answers! to make it clear, it was a main female character dating another female character. i ship her with the main male character and people immediately started bashing that ship the minute this other one became official lmao. basic fandom stuff, i guess. i just wondered if by engaging at all with the show in a positive way i de facto endorsed that storyline by writing fic/using those characters. reading this back, maybe i do have scrupulosity :/ thanks again!

Honestly my own perspective even on irl same sex relationships at this point is, yeah, morally I believe it's not what God intended for us, but people are adults and will do what they want to. And I really don't think shunning or constantly reminding people of our disagreement will change their minds. While it can be annoying now that every other character is gay in something, I do think if media is otherwise well-written or has good morals/interesting storytelling it can be overlooked as a net good. Imo there's a difference between an LGBT relationship being part of a story the same as any other relationship, and a story wherein that is the whole point. And even if it is, there can be value, I believe, in listening to other people's stories, even morally-questionable, if only for the sake of learning how others think & feel.

Bottom line, my view on it is if you are an adult, you should ideally be able to tell the difference between fiction and reality, and your morals should not be changed or influenced by fiction. Of course personal discernment is needed to decide whether something is an issue for you or not, but I'd say most of us are not going to suddenly believe abortion is okay after one abortion movie, just like you most likely won't come away thinking mass murder is okay just because you watched a slasher. ;)

Okay I'mma put this under a read more because holy wow this got long. But hi hello, I'm Icey/Vesper and I love my boys

What would your character consider to be the most important lesson they’ve ever learned?

For Ink the most important lesson he's had to learn is that the people he interacts with aren't just characters. They aren't just set dressing to the stories the Creators want to tell, and even moreso in Denny since he can't even read Denny's script. The way he came to this conclusion was rather upsetting and would likely require some trigger warnings so I'll hold off on that until he eventually talks to Sinestro about it, but. Suffice to say he's had several run ins with the cracks in that philosophy, so it was a matter of time until it broke. Unfortunately for him he sort of had to stay numb to his job somehow so he clung to the pieces of that ideology until this happened. It's gotta fuckin suck to have it turned right around on him.

What secrets does your character keep from others? Strangers, friends, family?

Generally speaking Ink is a fairly open book. He'll tell people a lot of personal stuff with very little prompting. This is actually done by him on purpose as it gives the impression of having nothing to hide. It makes him approachable, trustworthy, and most of all it generally keeps people from prying into his past. Granted those who know he's a doppelganger created by the Hanged Man put zero stock into his past, but to him it is still very real. Among the things he's hesitant to tell anyone are: his first memories and the lack of memory prior to them, The XEvent just in general since he was very much the villain in that situation regardless of his reasons, the fact that he is physically linked to the wellbeing of his multiverse, Anything and everything to do with Bliz, and to a lesser extent, the existence of the mirror room.

If your character could ask a genie one question and be guaranteed a truthful answer, what would they ask?

There would be two he wants to ask. Naturally the first option would be to ask "Will the time loop ever be broken?" Because at this point he doesn't care if it's broken with everyone dead or everyone alive so long as it stops repeating. Knowing which would be nice so he could prepare for it, but it's not necessary information.

The other is the more inherently tragic of the two and it's more Denny specific as well. It's "Will Spyro and I end up in the same world?" Because he's come to love his boyfriend more than most people from his home world with the exception of his brother. And given how long he's been away at this point it would sting to be permanently taken away from Papyrus, but he would be able to adjust. He'd also just feel infinitely guilty if Spyro were torn away from repairing his relationship with his friends just to be trapped into a possibly infinite time loop, so he'd prefer to end up in the Skylands.

It's part of why this whole plot with the hanged man's illusions hit him so hard. It was the ideal scenario for returning home.

What is one important thing your character has yet to discover about themselves?

Okaaay so this is probably going to sound cliché as shit, but he's yet to discover his own potential. Dazai and Atsushi in his own world both saw it and tried to guide him toward it in their own ways, and now on Denny Chuuya and Khun have been doing the same. He's been moving towards it, but he still hasn't quite grasped it because his mentality is so deeply rooted in his being a weapon- in existing to further the goals of others and not his own. His worldview was solely that the strong survive and the weak perish, but his agreements since joining Denny have prevented him from doing much with that, and so his views have subtly changed over time to be a bit more flexible.

He likely won't realize just how much good he can do for a long while, but he's doing better.

Can I dump my anxieties on you for a second? I've signed with a moderately large publishing company but in my contract I'm obliged to market myself on TikTok :( I have no problem being on camera, that's not the problem, it's how much this will hurt my soul. Do you have any advice on how to keep true to myself and my book? I swear every "TikTok Author" relies on tropes and 'spice' but I want to make content that is less surface level.

okay well first of all of congrats!

second of all: I think it's totally understandable and valid to have these kind of anxieties. Writing and marketing are two very separate skills, and it's rare that both are appealing to one person. The disconnect between writing the stories I want to tell and catering to market trends is something that I worry about too.

I'm definitely not the most qualified person to talk about this because I'm nowhere near close to publishing my own writing. (And though I have been involved in "the other side" of the publishing industry, it wasn't as much of the marketing stuff.)

That said, here's my two cents: I think there are certain styles that are best practice for the format and culture of TikTok, but that doesn't mean that the actual content or message has to be the same as what everyone else is doing. I'm not on TikTok so I'm definitely not an expert at what the kids are getting up to on booktok these days.

on the one hand, you're probably going to have to be more surface level than is ideal for you, just because you only have the time/attention limit for something shorter and snappier. But that doesn't mean you have to try and shoehorn your book blurb into tropes that don't quite fit just because they're the popular ones.

You're not going to be able to express the entirety of what you love about your book all at once. But you could probably break down various elements of your book that you love and talk about those individually.

If you're tired of the same old stuff all the time, chances are other people are too—not diving into every popular trend won't get you as big of an audience, but it might help you find the narrower but more ideal audience. In book sales/advertising, 10 people seeing your ad/tiktok/blurb and 5 of them buying the book is better than 100 people seeing your ad/tiktok/blurb and only 1 of them buying the book. Your job when it comes to marketing isn't to get the widest audience possible, it's to connect with the audience that's going to love your book.

That said, there's no magical way to target only those people, so to get views, you're probably going to have to do it in a way that's not your favorite ever. But I don't think that marketing your book as 'spicy' if that's not the real draw is going to do anyone any favors. If readers come for something other than what the book really is, they're going to be disappointed.

So I guess I would say—what do you love about your book? What makes you excited about it? Highlight those things! Be passionate about it, because you are passionate about it! And then maybe yeah, mix that with some trendier things to get the word out there. And you probably won't love it, and it probably won't be your favorite part of this whole author thing, but that's okay.

Just remember your target audience are people who like the kind of story you like to tell. They're people who get excited about what you get excited about. So imagine yourself talking to them.

Obviously take all of this with a grain of salt, since I don't really know what I'm talking about. But I am wishing you much success with your book. And also I'm so proud of you. And the fact that you've come this far is already amazing. And the fact that your book is true to yourself probably means that it will be lasting and impactful to your readers in a way that the "super marketable" ones won't.

Me???? Still not over that Apollo Ray AU in 2021?????? It's more likely than you think.

I jumped into the water and now I need to keep swimming

If you're new to the AU, you can check out this post where it's explained where the name comes from and this other post on what Apollo Ray differs from Minerva Norman.

Tonight, I'd like to expand the plotline that Apollo Ray would choose to imprison Emma and Norman to prevent them from getting in his way to demons' eradication. I know y'all might cringe at this but you have to understand, he's REALLY convinced it's for their best.

This is how I can imagine things to go: Ray kinda tricks them and traps them somewhere inside of the Paradise Hideout. Not really a prison, he'd probably just lock them in a room and be like “you just got back from a long, dangerous journey, why don't you take some rest? In the meantime, I've got some stuff to do at, let's say, the Royal Capital :)”

Sounds familiar?

Like mother like son

Very relevant detail is that the room MUST be without locks. Make it an electronic key or a biometric iris recognition lock or whatever. Ray knows Norman well enough and he's not falling to the magical hairpin trick lmao.

Now, I like to think Gilda would take sides with Ray. I've always thought about Ray and Gilda having a lot in common (often seeing the glass half empty, loving Emma unconditionally; furthermore, they were the only ones who agreed that escaping from Grace Field with everyone was unequivocally impossible). At some point, paralleling how Norman asked to talk with Gilda and Don, Ray asks for Gilda only to come into his study. They have a long talk, during which he persuades her to join him. On Ray's end, he needs somebody he trusts to stay in the Hideout while him and his squad go to their fun trip to the Royal Capital, to keep an eye on Emma and Norman and make sure they won't escape or try and go to the Seven Walls. Now, Gilda probably wouldn't look like his first choice, for she is endlessly loyal to Emma; however, Ray plans of making that very factor, her love and dedication for her friend, his trump card. By talking to Gilda and calmly describing their situation, he makes her understand how hopeless is the mission Emma is so desperate to fulfill; that no one ever came back from the Seven Walls, and they're most likely to die there. Moreover, Ray persuades Gilda to believe that his plan of demon eradication is without doubts the most certain route, that will surely lead to the safest future for her friends - even though they can't understand it yet. However, their safeness and happiness is above anything else, even their own temporary freedom- isn't it? They will understand, once everything is over, that him and Gilda were only acting for their best.

Although initially hesitant, as never in her life she had gone against Emma, Gilda ends up firmly accepting, for she's determined to do anything to save Emma's (and Norman's) life- including betraying her.

I don't think it shouldn't be too surprising to have Gilda accept Ray's plottings; already in the manga, she's shown as being maybe the most condescending to Norman's plan, since she believed it was the less dangerous route to secure Emma's safety- and, to her eyes, consequential happiness.

In this AU, Ray's using the very feelings of affection that build Gilda's loyalty to Emma to bring her to his side; he's persuading her that the mission Emma and Norman are trying to carry out is a suicidal one, and that if they let them go they will lose them forever- which is something he knows Gilda would do anything to not let happen.

I know it may seem like he's manipulating her to get what he wants, but I want to underline I don't think that'd be the case: by saying he's worried Emma and Norman are going to lose their lives going after the Seven Walls, he's putting genuine sentiments on the line, and he's as determined to prevent it from happening as Gilda is. In comparison, Norman has been way more dishonest when he spoke to Gilda and Don- as Gilda would have later learnt, he was never intentioned to spare Musica (thus having plainly lied to them).

On the contrary, Ray's intentions of simply wanting to protect Emma and Norman were sincere, and he was way more honest with Gilda with his plan, fully entrusting her with it.

On the other side, Don would obviously take sides Emma, which would eventually lead to a very cool conflict between Gilda and Don?? I'm certain Don would support Emma because he grew up to be very similar to her. Brings back to my mind this old old post I once made, which considers the events of chapters 138 and 139: Don shares Emma's point of view on many matters, so I'm confident he would be ready to support her. When you think about it, he was the fastest to take sides with her in canon too, probably second to Ray only; and when Ray's choice was likely driven by his undying loyalty to Emma, chances are that Don was supporting Emma not only because he believed in her, but also because he was the first one to truly believe in her ideals as well, the first to believe they would have really been able to find a solution that would have brought happiness for everyone.

Now Don openly supporting Emma would inevitably lead to him and Gilda clashing which I find being the absolute COOLEST thing. I mean I love them, and I love how they love each other; still the thought of them being compelled by the circumstances to collide intrigues me so much!!!! I think they'd have this extremely angsty confrontation that will eventually end with Don convincing Gilda that trusting Emma has took them so far, and that the best thing to do is give up and help him to free Emma and Norman (maybe Ray had entrusted her with the keys / password to open the room Emma and Norman were locked in?? Dunnot)

Besides, I think it would make a lot of sense taking the whole tpn plotline?? It would end up paralleling Gilda and Don's chapters in Grace Field in so many different ways. First of all, I have to say it would be very nice to have a new spotlight on Gilda: her role in the first arc was relevant indeed, with her and Don being the key to the success of the escape; however, she didn't really got to have enough space for character development. The moment when the trio revealed them the truth was more about Don, while Gilda had never doubted of their words in the first place; moreover, the space she had as a possible spy was mostly used to deceive the attention from the true spy, and the revelation that she was never intentioned to betray them was more of character development for Emma, who consolidated her will to trust and protect her family, than a growth of Gilda herself.

But now, for Gilda to take sides against her dear Emma, the person she's more loyal and devoted to, what a great potential for character development that has!!!!!!! I can imagine her, once she finally accepts to help Emma, to echo the words Emma once told her at Grace Field: “I'm sorry- to protect you, I was prepared to be hated by you; yet, I wasn't ready to believe in you!”

To sum up: the Apollo Ray AU is still my jam and Gilda and Don deserve way more space than what they were given in the manga. Also stan Gilda.
