I need to hop back into my transformers bullshit for just a moment because I don't think they've had much interaction in canon, but I think it'd be really really funny if Tarn was actually terrified of Starscream.
Like, I dunno if MTMTE/IDW canon has confirmed Starscream's immortal spark for that particular series, but I'm going to assume it carries over. If so, it'd make Tarn's power basically useless against him.
In my ideal headcanon, Tarn got sick of Starscream's shit at some point and went against Megatron to try to murder him. He tried to do this subtly using his voice only for it to 100% not work even a little bit. He would've had this whole build up where he got Starscream alone and was attempting to be a dramatic bitch about the whole thing and build up to the murder and then-
And then it just doesn't work and there's a really awkward pause where Starscream is looking around kind of expecting something to happen when literally nothing does. Tarn is trying to keep a normal conversation going now while also attempting the murder again and again just for it to literally do nothing. Eventually Starscream gets sick of him being weird and walks out judging the guy.
It'd be so fucking funny particularly because Starscream having an immortal spark is generally totally unknown, so Tarn would have to assume that Starscream had found some way to render his ability useless, which is terrifying. Tarn is now extremely worried that Starscream somehow had a spy and found out what he was planning to do ahead of time. He might've even been able to get something into Tarn's head somehow to know his plan this well. Clearly that level of genius must be part of why Megatron keeps him around. Tarn was a fool for having attempted to disobey, and Starscream was clearly not a problem he could solve like this. What if Starscream reports this clear disobedience to Megatron? Tarn just tried and failed to kill the second in command! Starscream would have every right to demand his execution if he so desired, or save this as blackmail!
Tarn is just out of his mind spinning conspiracy theories and getting super high levels of paranoia about Starscream. Just doing whatever he can to not have to be in the same place as the guy. He runs under the assumption he's being blackmailed by Starscream for his attempt and does what he can to not cross the seeker.
Meanwhile from Starscream's perspective, Tarn showed up and had a very weird conversation where he kept raising his voice at random times and then nothing happened. Then the guy freaked out and got even more weird about it. He has no idea why this happened. He has no idea that Tarn is hiding from him. He thought it was weird and stopped thinking about it after a few days. Starscream's minding his own business and mostly forgot about this entire thing after two weeks meanwhile Tarn is having a mental breakdown about it for years.

I find little Machete being happy over bread baking to be so endearing, especially because I can imagine a world in which helping with baking was one of the few childhood joys he had (due to the lack of art of him happy as a pup), and then remembering the art you did months back of modern Machete making a souffle, I can see reincarnated Machete being drawn towards baking in his free time due to those residual feelings from his past life.

Forgot to upload this one, this is based on the first draft versions of Kessoku Band. We almost got Golden Retriever Extrovert Bocchi instead of Shivering Chihuahua Cryptid Bocchi. 😆
Kita was apparently going to be more of the tsundere archetype, Ryo was going to be more ditzy, & Nijika.....well, I think Nijika was the same actually. No need to improve on perfection, I suppose. 😌

You know it's funny, despite Crocodile making a big deal out of him not trusting anyone, he still like, makes a lot of "deals" and actually follows through them and expects others to do the same
Like Robin expected Crocodile to betray her, but because she betrayed him first out of her own trauma-based fears (and the basic human decency of not wanting to let Croc have a weapon of mass destruction), we actually don't know if Crocodile really would have "betrayed her".
Like, if she had truthfully told Crocodile that Pluton was in Wano, there is a possibility Crocodile might've still killed her if he thought she was lying. But if Pluton had been in Alabasta and if she had told him the location to find it... Might he not have kept her around?
Because he explicitly states that he's going to kill her because she's not delivering on the deal they made, and yes, he might've been suspecting she was lying
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And Crocodile tells Luffy the same thing when Luffy defends Whitebeard from him, saying "their deal" was only to aid each other to break out of Impel Down and get to Marineford, so with that goal achieved they could mind their own business again
Tumblr media
And even with Buggy, Crocodile loaned him money because he fully expected Buggy to repay him back later and honor the deal
(Probably because Crocodile's way to enforce his authority is through threats of violence, so he expects people to do as their told out of fear if nothing else)
I just find it interesting
Because in that sense he's weirdly similar to Luffy, is he not. Like Luffy also makes deals/alliences with people and expects people to honor their promises, it's just that Luffy is overwhealmingly positive and doesn't assume he's going to get betrayed/backstabbed

idk i love that ketheric is devs' special princess out of all three chosen like. orin is the crazy murder woman, the cult leader, sarevok's daughter, almost-destined-to-be bhaal's chosen, blood and gore and violence aesthetics and all. gortash is the tyranny guy, the power hungry usurper with almost cartoonishly evil grin and lil devils embroided on his clothes. and then there's sad dead geezer. he's voiced by jk simmons. he has the most badass introduction. a whole act is built around his story. he could've been a recruitable companion

yknow the veil/kotteri image redraw meme? the one that's been going around on twt? now make it timber. bernard who goes on to be a famous model after grieves and does shoots all over the world. one day he does one for a gotham brand and he ends up plastered all over the city. now tim who has managed to miss all this just by virtue of being too busy being a vigilante and running wayne ent. steps out of his car one day and bam! directly across from wayne tower is this giant electronic billboard, displaying bear's new perfume ad. in it he's wearing a fur coat that's slipped down his shoulders to reveal the muscles rippling across his back. bernard looks over his shoulders and laughs, lips painted a pretty pink. the ad reads "all new scent 14 from beams: the scent of love. it's like burning" bernard winks coyly and tim is burning all right. rock hard in his too tight work pants.

I think it's so funny that people treat Arya like she has no self-control because she *checks notes* stood up to Joffrey and defended her friend from being attacked

ok i reblogged smth on my sideblog that i really liked but didn't agree with the main point op made but i didn't wanna. seem like i was arguing with them in the tags so i'm writing this here lol.
pearl didn't throw the fight against scar.
in fact, everything mentioned in that post contributed to her decision to Actually Fight Him.
Pearl has been meaning to sacrifice herself for someone else all season, and when she lost her mounders she scrambled to find a replacement.
Scar rejects that notion, in his own words "it would be lame".
Pearl ends the series talking a lot about Double Life and what it did to her, the lack of closure she got from it. I think hearing that from Scar made her realise she was becoming like Scott and that's very not who she is. I think she got her senses back in those last moments and had faith in Scar that she could fight him properly and really give him the victory he deserves.
Cus yeah. Anything else would be lame.
Scar earned that victory through and through.

Current thought: the Genuine Dismay in Iskall's voice when Beef suggested building his house interior instead of and not in addition to the attic room. I did not know a guy could express "D:" out loud so clearly but he Did

unpopular opinion i really think they got rid of nami’s joy and whimsy in the la. obviously it was strained up til arlong park in the anime cause she had arlong breathing down her neck and they had her trauma show out more in the la but still. where is my girlies silly !!
Nami suffering the consequences of being the only woman in the East Blue crew and Netflix being unable to write women with personalities so they have to make Nami the "mean/strict/responsible girl that takes care of the dumb men" because they're just sooo feminist and they looove empowered women (I am being sarcastic, btw).

by the way i've been going through rtd's non-doctor-who work and the first thing i watched was queer as folk and i have to say. there's a lot going on in that show but my main takeaway is "it's extremely obvious that the guy writing this really wants to write doctor who." there are ten episodes and of those i believe seven mention doctor who in some capacity. the theme starts playing in the middle of gay sex. k-9 is there. the character responsible for most of these references breaks up with his boyfriend because the boyfriend can't name all the doctors. at the end he has a couple lines where i was like "wow this sounds like something the doctor would say" and then the next lines out of his mouth were about doctor who. all of this is retroactively much funnier now that rtd kickstarted a 20+-year-long reboot for the show

I still would've ended the show with Mike and Aluson both dying suddenly and comedically and both getting stuck as ghosts, and maybe then a new owner moving in.
