a/n: utilizing this blog to write mindless headcannons again. yes, i'm currently working on my thesis.

"you look like you're slowly withering away"

jeonghan's amused words make you open your eyes for a few seconds before you let them shut again. if you didn't know him as well, you would've missed the note of concern in his voice. and the worry flashing in his eyes, despite the teasing smile he sports.

"i feel like it too", you groan, opening your eyes and trying to look alive, "remind me to never get a degree ever again".

the sound your boyfriend lets out is somewhere between a snort and laugh. you love studying, you can hear him think, even if it kills you sometimes.

"can i do anything?", he prompts, finally reaching out to stroke your cheek, which you're sure he's been wanting to do since he came home a few minutes ago, "something to eat?"

"i want yogurt", you pout before giving him a resigned smile, "but i finished it all this morning".

"i picked some up on the way home", he flicks your nose lightly, "saw you were running low".

oh, how you love this man.

"oh, jeonghan", you start, pushing through your slight headache to express your very sincere gratitude, "that's so -- "

"yeah, yeah, you can thank me later", he smiles, before reaching for your hand, "go wash your face, you always feel better after. actually, use your clay mask".

"but -- "

"i'll mix sugar in your yogurt, it'll be ready by the time you're done".

he pulls you up by your hand -- no doubt to push you towards the general direction of your bathroom -- but you catch him off-guard, resting your hands on his waist and pulling him in for a kiss.

"thank you", you whisper, your hands gently squeezing his hips, "for taking care of me".

"i like taking care of you", he whispers back, "and you need to up your standards. it's only yogurt".

it's not just yogurt. it's the little massages he gives you when your shoulders are killing you, it's the extra jacket he has in his car, it's the way he coaxes you out for a walk when you've been inside for too long. it's the love and kindness he has, that you have the privilege of experiencing.

he'd hate hearing it though, so you keep quiet for now. your head hurts too much to make him sit through a recitation of everything you love about him. so you settle for the simple --

"i love you".

Reinstalling Fallout 4 today and setting up my mods. Three years ago I was SO careful about reading instructions and checking for incompatibilities and not putting too many in at once. today I'm deploying 91239127 mods before even running a save file and we'll just see if the game survives when I try to boot it up

if there's ever another broadway revival of assassins i am desperate for it to use the 1990 cast album orchestrations (or at least an adaptation thereof considering that a 35-piece pit orchestra isn't exactly practical) because it truly drives me nuts that no actual production has ever used them. i just want assassins to have a real string section is that too much to ask

a week or so back when i was at my gaming convention, i actually had a puppet history dream; i dreamt there was an animatic someone had made that was chiefly about how much the cast Loved the professor, and it was really cute!! i get so excited every time i find a new one to watch.

the part that i remember most though was god saying that he and death "collaborated" on making australia?? which was 1. hilarious 2. such a coherent thought that felt like it could've come from a real episode?? like jenuinely that could be canon and it wouldn't be surprising.

i'm sure you've asked this a lot, but do you have an estimated date for abm2 or specific timeframe you're hoping to get it out by? 👀

Yeah, I've been hesitant to say anything given that it's basically out of my hands to decide on releases and etc. at the moment. But I'm gonna try to be transparent.

So here's my plan: ABM 2 before the end of the year, likely October. However, this is only if a certain someone (as in, a publisher) doesn't change things for me.

My hands are tied right now and I, as per an agreement, can't release ABM-related stuff (including audiobook) without, well, permission. Despite that, I'm trying to plan as if I still have full creative control and hoping for a release in the fall of this year. I hope to have more updates soon.
