Brazil keeps being a complete ridoculous joke when dealing with indigenous issues because for some reason too many people think rural coorporations are more important than human lifes. The possibility of a law that promoves aculturation (the pressumed loss of identity of a tribe - determined not by the comunity itaelf but by people that don't even know this culture or identity - means they lose their land), stops futher progress in giving indigenous people the land that is rightfully theirs and allows intersctions with isolated tribes that never had contact with other civilizations. This is just plain evil. At this point the goverment and capitalism just evolved into a real cartoon supervillain from who money is worth more than anything else.

Did we learn nothing from the yanomani humanitary crisis? Or from colonization? Or from literally basic decency. I'm not even kidding this could easly just be a Captain Planet episode and the only difference would be that the good side would win for sure.

I need to vent before I lose my mind.

I received a text from my ex's sister this morning out of the blue basically calling me a terrible person and threatening me to talk to her brother about our relationship.

First off, excuse the shit out of me, I said everything I needed to MONTHS ago and it's not my fault it fell on deaf ears. I said it was a break up, not a break. I said if I don't reach out, HE needs to respect my boundaries for once in his life. She also didn't see/care about anything going on then so why is she giving a shit now? She wasn't there, she didn't see how toxic and shitty it was and when I tried to tell her about it, she brushed it off.

Now she has the audacity to come at me saying I need to "grow up" and have a conversation and I'm "pathetic and cowardly to do such a thing...I thought you were better than that." He's also harassing my friends and she's making it sound like all of this will stop if I say something. How about HE grow the fuck up and STOP harassing people??? But I'M being childish????

It's literally been MONTHS!! I fucking can't. I'm so beyond pissed that I was rage crying this morning, cause, ya know, I can't be mad w/out crying. Fucking bullshit. It's not my fault I've moved on he hasn't. It's not my fault they're behaving like a child and I'm choosing to not interact.

On top of that, my water bottle leaked all over my car and my coffee from Dunkin was messed up.

I find it so fascinating that in order for a cool girl to be "cool" she just needs to be sexy, nothing else. When I say "cool girl" I mean that she likes video games, drinks beer, loves junk food, she's one of the guys yoooo. I'm so salty because I know these two girls that have THE EXACT SAME PERSONALITY and yet the other one is more liked and popular because she's hot. The first one has issues with her hormones + is on meds which makes things SO hard for her, ESPECIALLY if she wants to lose weight 💀 Whenever she tries to hit on a guy everyone just brushes her off and ignores her 🥺😩 But the other girl is short and super skinny, has that Instagram baddie face and EVERYBODY wants to be her or be with her... And not even SHE has it easy. I feel so bad for her too because it's unreal how many guys she had to dump because they all just want to sleep with her 😭😭 And those guys are usually the ones who are like "girls without make up are the best" and then proceeded to make fun of women for not wearing make up 😭😭🤌🤌

Ok I did the whole Barbenheimer thing and let me tell you, Barbie wasn't revolutionary or anything, but it did come up ahead. It did what it was supposed to do and, since I managed my expectations before going in, did it in a fun silly way that still left a bunch of possible deeper readings, even if they were sadly left unexplored (and were maybe unintended). Oppenheimer on the other hand left me very angry and disappointed, even if I went there knowing it was an usamerican warfilm so I wasn't expecting much.

I think Barbie and Oppenheimer were equally superficial and obvious with their intended messages presentations, themes and characters, and equally inconsistent with their story threads. But Barbie was about Barbies, was intentionally silly, and had more going for it than the story itself... and Oppenheimer was about one of the real life creators of the atonic bomb, about the ones responsible for the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings, and about the subsequent cold war and the mess it left us today in regards to the existence and threat of atomic and H bombs.

I think I can safely say one had the responsibility to be a bit more nuanced and careful than the other, and that just did not happen. And no, i do not think there was any actual anti USA sentiment in Oppenheimer, as someone who lives in a Developing Country (TM)and is used to seeing usamerican propaganda all the time there was barely even a scratch of criticism buried in there; our knowledge of history and our own modern sensibilities and morality did all the heavy lifting in that front without the movie having to risk saying anything. Oh did he feel bad while the bombs were being dropped? Did they villanize a guy who went after him for uhh being better than him at public speaking? Did they say he was against the H bomb and was a pacifist now, actually (without showing it much but who cares, tell not show right)? He was still the hero. Not one Japanese person was shown. Not one civilian protest, not one appearance of the communists they were talking so much about after the scenes in the past, doing anything but talking the whole time. He still ended up with a "I love my country" tirade, there was still a haha nod to fucking Kennedy being the one to be on our hero's side. They still showed more scenes of women naked, drunk, cheating on their husbands and being negligent towards their kids than of them doing literally anything else.

The "nuance" and "anti-usa messages" was just a bunch of misplaced and inconsequential internal conflict that did not feel earned in any way, misogyny and random, boring and inconsistent jury scenes (sorry, "hearing" scenes or whatever they called so there wouldn't have to be consistent rules to follow). And the main character was so damn boring. And they didn't even represent the actual science parts well. And the editing was so weird and the flashing scenes didn't fit and were repetitive. And there was a happy ending for some reason?? It was a whole bunch of nothing with music building momentum that never went anywhere in the background of every scene for 3 hours and I wanted to leave the room for how angry it made me that this subject was treated that way and would probably get praised for it.

I have unwittingly witnessed a new level of the absurd. Behold, the AI-generated equine anatomy models.

Ah yes, my favourite parts of the equine body. Paster and... *looks at the smudged writing on hand* boob. At least this one looks purely decorative and the being actually looks like a horse. But don't worry, it gets worse.

If we completely ignore the hipopotamus musculature of this one, there's still a lot of things that don't make sense in this one, like a tail that ends in a series of bone spikes and a complete lack of molars. You could make a cool pokemon on the basis of this, but it's not even in the realm of being an actual anatomy help.

I'm firmly convinced this is not a horse, this is something that really, really wants you to think it is a horse. The more you look, the more things look... wrong. The more details turn out to be shifted, bones crammed in to fill in the familiar form, its shape merely implied so that the human mind fills the gap. Of course the text seems like gibberish, because its anatomy is incomprehensible. it's either a parasite or a monster and in each case, it's an eldtrich body horror. I'm kind of angry at how well this joke writes itself.
