OK so I saw you in teen wolf × reader tag and so I had to request because your writing is so goodddd. anyways so can a ask for a jealous!stiles stilinski x reader kind of? like at first we like stiles but he was so in love with lydia and kinda ignore us for her ( probably s1 or s2 stiles because he was so in love with her at those seasons ) and then we decided to move on and then isaac ( allison who? ) come and slowly we had a friend to lovers with isaac and just sooooo many jealous!stiles and cute and fluffy isaac pls. ending is up to you best girl 3/>

Stiles chewed on the edge of his pencil. Gaze low and his shoulders slumped as he gazed at you from across the room. Lydia sat next to him, messing with some of the test tubes while his attention was elsewhere. She peered over at him from the corner of her eye.

The glumness was practically spilling out of him. Lydia eyed his bouncing leg and hunched over stature. She then looked up to his eyes and followed his gaze. Landing on you and Isaac, a few tables away. Your body shook lightly as a hand covered your mouth. However you then threw your head back, laughter escaping you when Isaac whispered something in your ear. Mr. Harris scolded you both from his spot at his desk. You apologized a few giggles still escaping you.Lydia then looked back to Stiles noting how his body tensed at your response.

Her brows furrowed, connecting the dots silently in her head. She pursed her lips, officially turning in Stiles' direction and placing her chin in her palm. He didn't notice at first. Rolling her eyes Lydia kicked his shin gently. Stiles jumped in his spot. His head snapping in her direction. Once his had settled down he finally spoke.

"Yeah?" Lydia motioned the various chemicals and beakers in front of them.

"You gonna keep staring at her Romeo or are you going to actually get some work done." Stiles squinted at the glass bottles. Then peered over them to look back at you. Hand on Isaac's head, shoving him away lightly. Once steady again he bumped his shoulder with your making you stumble in your own spot.

Stiles' gaze turned into glare. Lydia watched as his eye line met you and she scoffed, slapping his arm. Once again his head turned to her directions.

"Don't you guys literally sit next to each other, next class? Can't you stare at her then? I'd like to finish up and start the homework early, thanks." Stiles dismissed her claim.

"I don't know what you're talking about," he muttered. Lydia rolled her eyes, almost seeing her brain in the back of her head in the process.

"You reek of jealousy." His head perked up.

"Jealous? Jealous of what? I have nothing to be jealous about? Who are we even talking about?" he rambled. Lydia slapped her hands down on the table in defeat. Contemplating life to herself then deciding either he was going to admit it or she was going to die trying to get him to.

"Just say you're in love with her. It'll make everyone's life easier." Stiles' brows furrowed farther.

"Who?" Lydia gestured in your direction. Stiles watched as her finger landed on you. Instantly his eyes widened into saucers.

"Y/n? No way-"

"Everyone sees how you look at her, Stiles," Lydia cut him off. "It's so obvious. Well apparently obvious to everyone but you and her." Stiles shook his head.

"There's nothing that's obvious. I don't like Y/n. Plus you literally know that I like-"

"Me?" Lydia quirked a brow. "No you don't. Maybe in the past at one point. But for as far as I'm concerned right now with your little pouty mood and constant glaring over in her direction when Isaacs around… It's clear as day who you have feelings for. You just need to wake up and realize it for yourself."

He bit his lip. Stiles peaked a look in your direction once more. Watching as you practically gave Isaac heart eyes as a smile graced your features. A pit of poison bubbled in his stomach. Remembering all the times he wished you looked at him like that. But those were just in the moment, right? He liked Lydia, and has liked her for years.

But the confidence in that statement slowly dribbled away when your gaze met his. Eyes shining, smile growing impossibly bigger as you looked over at him. You waved lightly which he gave a small smile in return. You didn't have time to think much about his odd response since Isaac tapped your side.

You snapped your head back to him. Taking the beakers he was passing to you, his fingers brushing against yours. The poison slowly boiled up while Stiles clenched his jaw at the action. However his attention was caught elsewhere when a throat cleared beside him.

"You were saying?" Lydia asked sarcastically. Stiles sighed in defeat.

"Even if I did like her- which I don't… she obviously has someone else in mind so it's not worth it. And, we've been friends since we were diapers. I'm not gonna ruin what we have over some stupid little crush."

"What if she wants to ruin it?" Lydia interjected. Trying to not bring up the fact of at the last sleepover you had, you were fawning over Stiles and how you loved his scrawny little body. Her face scrunched up at the memory subconsciously.

He didn't respond.

"Like I said, she obviously wants someone else. It's not worth ruining what we have," he mumbled, finally looking over the different chemicals. Grabbing the instructions from across the table and reading over them.

Lydia looked over at you one more time. Catching you looking over at the helpless boy beside her, longingly. You caught her eyes and shrunk away at being caught. She bit her lip, containing a smile as you looked at her sheepishly. Isaac turned to you as your attention was elsewhere.

He followed you line of vision, looked at Stiles then back to you. A teasing smile took over his features as he went to poke fun at you. You squirmed away. Lydia laughed quietly to herself. Stiles eyed her in question.

"What?" He asked. She dismissed his question with the wave of her hand.

"You don't know if she feels the same or not. What's the worse that could happen?"

"She rejects me and ignores me for the rest of out lives." She rolled her eyes once more.

"Do you really think that that's going to ruin everything? After everything you've gone through together? You said it yourself, you've been friends since diapers. If she doesn't feel the same it's not going to break you guys apart or whatever you're worried about. She could feel the same, Stiles. All you have to do is grow a pair to find out." Stiles went to respond but was stopped by the bell. Both of them cleaned up quickly while Harris said that if they didn't finish it was fine. They had tomorrow to finish up. "If you don't try, you won't know," Lydia stated while she picked up her things and took her leave. He paused in his step. A war fighting inside him. Contemplating his next course of action.

"You ready?" You asked, stepping beside him. He looked over to you, scanning over you then nodding. Your brows furrowed at his lack of response. "Are you doing okay today? You've been kinda quiet."

"Yeah I'm good," he responded. Stiles held the door for you as you entered the hallway. You hummed in response, eyeing the boy in your peripheral. His body stiff as he seemed lost in his own thoughts.

"You'd tell me if somethings bothering you right." Stiles looked over to you, taking in your concerned features. His words caught in his throat with your stare.

"There's nothing that'll split us up right?" he blurted out. Your eyes widened lightly.

"Um, yeah. Ill always be here for you Stiles, you know that. Is everything okay-"

"I'm gonna say something that I'll probably regret, but like you said, you'll always be with me right?" He stopped in his place, halting you in your spot as well. Students moved and passed around.

"Always, now what-"

"I think I'm in love with you." His words were jumbled. Your brows shot up to the ceiling, jaw slacking as his heart sunk down into his stomach.

"E-excuse me?" you questioned. His lip trembled slightly as his voice wavered.

"I-I think I'm in l-love with you, Y/n. I think I have for a while-”

“You think?-”

“It's okay if you hate me now. I ruined everything I know but I just had to tell you. I thought maybe there was a chance that you… never mind cause you don't. That's okay-"

"Stiles-"

"I mean we've been friends forever and all of a sudden I want to change it all."

"St-"

"I'm really sorry about all this. I'm so sorry-" a hand clamped over his mouth.

"Stiles, can you please calm down for a moment?” you all but shouted at him. His eyes were wide as he let a breath out through his nose. Slowly you took away your hand. He anxiously scanned your face trying to find some sort of answer. He spoke once again, voice cracking but it wasn't jumbled.

“I knew you liked Isaac. I know you do, I just…” he trailed off as a rather disapproving expression took over your features. You tilted your head and quirked a brow at him.

“Isaac? Really? You really think I like… Isaac?” His stuttered out his words, confused by your response.

“Y-yeah, I thought with all the giggling you two do, you liked-” your laughter cut him off as you shook your head.

“Oh gosh, Stiles. Lydia’s right, you are the most clueless man out there. I don't like Isaac, dummy. It’s you Stiles. It’s always been you. You’re the one I like. Have for a while now.” Stiles’ mouth opened and closed like a fish. You let out a breathy chuckle, looking down at your feet. “Ever since 7th grade year when there was that stupid middle school dance. Nobody was doing anything besides shuffling their feet and looking at each other awkwardly. You said you had enough, pulled me up, and took me to the middle of the dance floor and just started busting it down like an absolute dork.” You took a step forward, catching Stiles’ hand in yours. “By the end of the night my stomach hurt from all the laughing and my feet hurt from the amount of jumping we did. But none of it mattered cause at the end of the night when your dad brought me home. You kissed my cheek when I went to leave. I was smiling like an idiot up the driveway the whole time because I realized that I wanted you Stiles. More than a friend or best friend. I wanted you.”

His palms were sweaty as your fingers ran over his knuckles.

“You want me?” His voice was quiet. You took another step forward, your chest almost touching him.

“Mhm, always have, always will.” A smile gradually grew on his face as a breath of relief left him.

“Thank god. If you didn’t it would have been so awkward between us it’s not even funny-”

“You gonna kiss me yet Stilinski? I thought that was already scheduled after the whole ‘forever and always’ thing.” His brows shot up.

“K-kiss? Right now? In the middle of the hallway-” you rolled your eyes playfully before cupping his face in your hands. Giving him enough time to pull away if he wanted to before connecting his lips to yours. A small ‘hmph’ left him, body stiffening while his hands shot up. Slowly Stiles relaxed, bringing them back down to place on your waist.

A smile grew on your lips as his fingers traced your hips lightly. Pulling away you took in his features. Him smiling like an idiot. You couldn't really talk though as your expression mirrored his.

Post a few weeks ago helped me a lot with writing and working on fics I probably would've otherwise abandoned. And now I am once again in a writing slump. Soooo I wanna ask you to send an ask with emojis and I'll write a paragraph for each emoji :)

This time I added a few more WIPs that I either have to rewrite or haven't starter yet but desperate want to.

👶 magically deaged Buck (a witch puts a spell on Buck so now he's a little kid again and Bathena raises him as they try to figure out how to remove the spell.) Bathena, Buddie, multi chapters, 3 chapters already posted back in october, working on chapter 4

💪 self defense fic (s2 AU. Buck got mugged and loses faith in his safety, so Bobby introduces him to Eddie who will teach him self defense. Not Buck isn't just struggling with feeling unsafe but also with finding Eddie, a stranger, attractive) gonna be a longer fic, I think about 3-4K is written? Will be a single chapter.

🫃 Omegaverse fic (Buck always believed he was a beta but then after mating with Eddie, am Alpha, he starts feeling strange. With the help of Bobby, he figures out that his parents lied to him and did an illegal surgery on him when he presented as an Omega to block any Omega hormones. Buck worries because Eddie only dated betas before him and they never talked about having children) Know this is not everyone's cup of tea since it's both onegaverse and mpreg. Not started yet though I have a snippet written down somewhere in my notes. It's about time I write this.

❤️‍🔥 reunion smut (Eddie had been in El Paso for a few months and comes back earlier to surprise Buck) I've had this in the works for months and still haven't finished it, oops? I'm at the smut part soooo I feel like I could finish this soon?

💕 Buck coming out to Chris - idk how I still haven't finished this one, it's supposed to be short lol

👨‍👧 Buck finds out he has a daughter - idk if it will be multiple chapters but it definitely will be a longer fic. I hope around 30k?

👨‍⚕️ Dr. Eddie fic - I love hospital aus so I'm not sure why I haven't written much for it. Maybe I'll end up rewriting what I have and hope it will get my inspo back?

👨‍❤️‍👨 fake dating fic - and the award to the longest wip I have goes to... no not really, the high school au took me longer to finish. Idk why I haven't written much for this because I love the story and it's been in my mind for sooo long. I just need inspiration

💛 Bobby & Buck fic - well, it's also Buck & Chris & Eddie and Buddie. Basically, they respond to a heavy call with a kid that hits hard. Of course Buddie check up on Chris, but Bobby also feels the need to be close to Buck

🧩 Puzzle fic - sweet and fluffy. Eddie gives Buck a puzzle, which confused Buck because Eddie knows that with Buck’s adhd, he's barely capable of spending 10 minutes on it. Even worse, there's no reference picture. Buck sees it as a challenge and slowly works on it, his curiosity getting the better of it. - not started yet

There are a few wips I almost added to this but then I would really be working on too many at once. Soo... once I finish one or two of these, maybe I'll tease them or add them to a post like this. (It's a PTA dads au and a whumpy fic based on a the rookie episode... honestly makes me want to reconsider not doing whumptober this year because it would be perfect)

Might take some time answering all asks, depends on how I'm feeling. Also might not answer in the order of asks sent, BUT I will try to answer everything over the next days

came back here on tumblr after literal years just for gomens 2 stuff and i got a notif from you. I feel happy seeing your blog again,, so its so surprising for me that you disliked s2, purely just bc youre someone i consider as monumental to the entire fandom bc of your loyalty pre-TV era. so it's intriguing to know your thoughts abt the tv version.

i read your points and DAMN you reminded me of the stuff i didnt like back in s1 that I FORGOT bc so many years have passed since i watched + read the series. I forgot how much I loved bastard, asshole Aziraphale. TV him is characterized as 100% good, better than heaven dude which isn't bad.. and hes very fluffy and adorable. But i always liked the difference between that and crowley being a demon and yet nice. i always missed him calling him "my dear" too. If theyre gonna make them lovey dovey in TV, make him call him my dear damn it!!

As a book fan too, i personally loved s2. But reading your points made me realize it wasnt completely perfect so I respect your side. I do hope s3 turns out to be better than our expectations so you can tune back to it again. I just want you to have more content that you can enjoy even if it's completely new stuff. I understand the feeling so bad of having new stuff but being unable to enjoy it (a diff show for me). Makes you wonder what kind of plot he and Terry originally planned for all this fanservicey stuff to happen. I agree about the book part too, Crowley would never throw those around! The part with them meeting as angels, honestly I think it wouldve been better if they just didn't remember it so they wouldn't ruin their first meeting in the book. It would've been fine as a throwaway like "they met but don't remember."

With the finale,, hmmm I think TV!Azira's characterization def plays a part in why he did it. TV!him screams as someone who is still insecure about being an angel and losing his privileges. So he took the only opportunity he could to change heaven so he and Crowley could live in peace, after seeing Gabriel who is alr so powerful, be cast away after that decision. I'm curious though, how would you think book!him would think in this decision?? With an Armageddon 2 coming up again I can't imagine of anything else the two of them could do to fight it again w/o an influence in higher power.

Oh geez, I sure hope that nobody has notification on for my blog right now 😂 (or ever)...it'll be so annoying for them 🤣🤣 and honestly, I'm just some guy on the internet running a blog with no profit to gain from being "loyal" to a fandom, so I'm gonna truthfully share my opinions. And yeah like you said, it's possible to enjoy the book and the show at the same time, just taking into consideration that they are different media and characters. It's hard to imagine book!Aziraphale in this situation because there has been too many differences that led to this situation......and I just don't see book!Aziraphale in this situation, because to begin with, I don't think Gabriel would even go to him in times of trouble, lol. So let's say that Metatron directly went to him after everything had happened and Gabriel had already ran off and offered him the position (with an offer he can't refuse) -- I think he would have to accept on the surface, and then he would immediately go to Crowley to try to work their way out of it/figure out a way to keep the position but still slacks off all the time like he's always done 😂😂

I love reading your fics and I was wondering where you draw your inspiration from? And what kind of fics do you personally like to read? Do you have any favorites? Anything that you don’t like to read at all? ❣️

Hello anon, thanks for the ask!

Honestly I don't know where the inspiration comes from. Don't Fall Away From Me was originally meant to be a cute fluffy Crowley/Muriel friendship story and that... spiralled... 😆

I will say that I do put a lot of myself into the characters, though, which probably makes them more authentic, even if it means they aren't entirely canon. Like, I struggle with selective mutism which comes across in my Muriel and in my Lighthouse Keeper Crowley. I also struggle with self deprecating thoughts which is another theme that runs throughout most of my fics. But most of my inspiration are wild ideas that I try to chase down and form into something vaguely story-shaped, but the characters usually take over and they lead me far more often than I lead them.

In terms of what I like to read, I read everything. There's very little I don't read, from fluff to severe angst, human AU meet cutes to more taboo stuff, I think there's something to be found in almost all kinds of literature, the only thing I look for is that the characters are 3D, developed, complex and layered. Otherwise it just feels like the written equivalent of pushing two Angel and Demon dolls together and getting them to kiss -- I like to be invested, and whether its a fluffy canon piece or a twisted explicit one shot, I need depth.

The only thing I don't read is post S2 fics -- I didn't want to accidentally influence myself whilst writing DFAFM. However, as soon as I'm done writing that, I'm gonna devour them all!! 🙌

My all time favourite fics that scratched my brain in all the right places are The False and the Fair by @princip1914 , Old Vines by @sevdrag , Slow Show by @mia-ugly , oh gosh, so many - here is a list of my bookmarks on AO3, any that have a comment attached are ones I've loved and reviewed, if it hasn't got a comment it means I haven't finished reading it yet.

So if you had to order them whats the biggest to smallest let downs of lo? What has potential vs just being a crap plot point?

I'm REALLY bad at ordering things from biggest to smallest/worst to best/etc. so bear with me, but my personal list from smallest letdown to biggest letdown would definitely be:

5. Hera and Hades' affair. No 'potential' here, RS just shouldn't have done it. It casts way too many fucked up implications in Hera's characterization, from how she calls Minthe "nymph trash" to how she forces her own dreams and preferences on Persephone. She's always got an opinion about Hades' relationships, which would have been fine if we consider the fact she's the Goddess of Marriage and Hades is the only unmarried King, but now that we know they were in an affair for hundreds of years, it makes her opinions look even more mean-spirited.

4. The actual romance. There's no 'romance' in LO, it's just fluffy vignettes that Rachel thinks quantifies an entire plot but the reality is, Hades and Persephone are just not interesting characters and fluff doesn't make a story. So when they're together, it makes for a very uninteresting romance, as well. At least S1 had some amount of romantic/sexual tension, there is none of that in S2 onwards because it's just Hades and Persephone playing house but never bothering to actually get to know each other. Now that they're rushing into marriage it's just... blech. I couldn't be more disinterested in the marriage of a couple that Rachel's been writing about for five fucking years. I feel nothing towards them and that's the worst crime a romance can commit because it breaks my number one rule of storytelling - don't be fucking boring.

3. The Assassination of Demeter. The fact Rachel couldn't give an ounce of respect to the original myth that her bestselling series is based on is so goddamn disgusting, honestly. It goes to show how little integrity Rachel has, that she'll appropriate and gentrify another culture's religion and myths for her own personal monetary gain. Same goes for Webtoons as a whole. She writes this Greek myth comic as if she's ashamed to be associated with it, she wants all the fame and money without any of the responsibility or discipline. Demeter deserves better.

2. The Kronos fight. Lost potential. Not only did we not need some big MCU fight between Persephone and Kronos (this isn't an action comic) but even if we did have to have one for some reason, it couldn't have been, y'know... better? Why was it treated as a big joke? Why didn't Kronos use his powers? Why did it come out of nowhere and get resolved in a single episode? Why was the extent of his attempts to harm Persephone so nerfed? Answer: because Rachel doesn't know how to write action and she didn't want her precious self-insert to get an owie. Take this as a heads up/warning: I torture my characters. So I hope you're ready for the Rekindled versions of these characters to get HURT. 1.Persephone's act of wrath. So much lost potential here to characterize Persephone in a way that could have been more empowering or otherwise interesting. This is honestly the biggest thing I'm gonna be trying to revitalize in Rekindled and, full brag, I think I'm the perfect person for this task because I've been spending well over 10 years writing characters like this.

Good Omens 2 ending was perfect, actually, and I'm gonna talk why, cos I got a lot to say.

Naturally, massive spoilers ahead!

The finale ended in a way that makes total sense to me. I hear y'all being like "this isn't canon, no, let them be happy, I hate this!" *proceeds to write a fix-it fanfic that's all fluff and kittens*, but just... listen to me for a moment.

Don't get me wrong, keep writing alternative endings for that temporary fix, but in terms of canon, I believe what Neil wrote is better than anything else that's gonna get create, more or less. Remember, it's important characters stay in-character.

Sure, I sobbed at 5am with a broken mind, heart, and hated everything in the moment, but letting it digest... it actually works very well. People want their "happiliy ever after", and I do too, eventually. But that time isn't now.

Also, side note, to anyone who sent Neil hate mail because of said ending, fuck you. Don't be a sensitive little shit and just accept that stories don't always have to be happy to still be good.

Here we have a 6000+ year relationship/friendship of two non-humans that don't know how to act around each other. THEY DON'T TALK, as Nina said. For them to suddenly get the talking bit down correctly was never going to happen. Which makes the ending so much worse. A quick kick up the backside from 2 people isn't the sudden fix-it to everything. They continued to STILL not talk, not taking even a single day to communicate, think of a plan, anything! I.e "Good luck", "Then there's nothing more to say." The Metatron told Aziraphale to take all the time he needed, and yet Az was gone within 15 mins. Crowley could've said something more, but instead chose to kiss Aziraphale.

Which while it was long overdue, I think it was still too fast. Aziraphale realized his love for Crowley in 1941, according to Michael, which is VERY late to the game, and in the 60s, he said Crowley moved too fast for him. I assume this is still the case, as the 60s wasn't that long ago in angel/demon years. The kiss probably frightened him, because we know what Aziraphale is like, has always BEEN like. He's cautious and jittery and incredibly soft. He's the emodiment of a kitten, and you need to treat him as such.

Had Crowely taken his time with Aziraphale instead, things might've been different. The outcome also might've remained the same, but there would at least be some communication, and probably much less heartbreak. In that moment, Crowley could've really poured his heart out into words, but he didn't. Even during the confession, he ended rather nonchalantly with a "you and me, what do you say?" This is after hearing Aziraphale's news. It's hardly romantic, and gives the same vibe as "let's shack up".

He should be using every ounce of his power to get Aziraphale to stay, but he doesn't. He says his piece, begins to walk off, rubs the non-relationship in Aziraphale's face, kisses him, and then leaves. All this sets up pefectly for a s3 to sort their shit out. I like that it wasn't just a fluffy arc where everything's suddenly perfect, because where would s3 go then? It would be less fun.

I like the angst. I want to enjoy a good show with conflict and difficulty and confusion and anger and whatever else. I want to watch this angel and demon evolve and go through it and realize and learn and love.

What happened at the end of s2; it was ineffable.

So I watched the new episode on Helluva Boss today and... I kinda feel upset about how the show made Loona act in s2

Don't get me wrong, in this episode, she was a bit rude for unnecessary reasons (if they were trying to make her defensive, they shouldn't have made her seem bitchy)

Like when that one moment where Bee told her that Blitz is getting out of line, Loona straight up starting insulting her and catching an attitude for no reason instead of listening and checking him right away. She over here snapping at people for no reason but then when Tex around she wanna be like "Teehee! I'm so crushing on you... pulling my hair behind my ear now 😚😚😚" It's giving a bit of pick me energy 😐

There are some things about the dynamic between Blitz and Loona that s2ep2 absolutely ruined for me. Like Loona tucked her father in and made sure he was safe enough... s2ep2 does not make sense on why Loona's so aggressive for no reason 😑

I understand her anxiety about being in a party though cus going into places where parties include rough housing and alcohol and all that is too much for me too 🥲

I kinda wish they put this episode before showing s2 tho, it kinda threw me off track a few times that this was still in s1 🫣

The scene of her taking care of him at the end was a bit sad, it made me forget about hatred for both of them. Then they ruined it with... this 🤦

This was completely unnecessary, life if they're trying to be funny, that didn't really work for me 😐

And Bee's design... I kinda don't even wanna go there cus that shit was too much (I love Kesha but come on, that design was awful) But her personality is okay ! I honestly liked how she kept an eye on Blitz's mental being more than Loona did here tbh 😐 and she straight up told Loona to stfu on their last interaction.... queen shit fr !!!

These two may have the usual HB designs, but they're really cute and look like they would enjoy having tea parties in college together 🫠🫠🫠

Day 15 - Are there any ships you dislike?

alrighty so. there are only rlly four i ‘dislike’, and the first three… it’s more complicated than anything, it’s not entirely utter pure-n-simple disdain. it’s less about the ships themselves (in two of the cases, anyway) and more about how they seem to be perceived by the fandom + how much they dominate everything. other ships exist, guys! the other characters exist! anyway ill try not to be mean but i am gonna be petty, lol

so for starters, yeah, jack x ianto. i have a very specific view of it, that i do enjoy, but the fandom seems to be doing something else entirely and i've developed some resentment despite myself. especially bc it’s overrated as fuck. don’t get me wrong, it’s iconic, as far as being culturally significant gay rep, but if im honest idk how well they hold up in 2024? i thought their relationship in s1 and s2 of the show was lackluster at best. poorly written bread crumbs. and yeah i know it was big for 2006 but im just personally kind of offended that they could show them sucking face but not show the intricacies of why the hell ianto would fall for a guy who shot his girlfriend down?? like, their relationship is inherently dark and angsty to me and im interested in exploring that, bc the show certainly doesn’t (initially) bother to, and a lot of the fan content i see is either fluffy (??????????), or angsty in a Tragique way, or is just kind of… fetishy and whumpy? people slot them into a Specific Kind of Dynamic and it grosses me tf out. so the fandom culture rubs me wrong, and then it’s just… such a bummer to like owen and tosh and gwen in a fandom that only seems to prioritize this one ship. there are 22k fics in the torchwood ao3 tag, and 13k of them are janto. now, all that being said… they do intrigue me and endear me, just a bit. but it took the audios to make me give a fuck about them, which is sad.

on that same note - i have the same relationship with tosh x owen, but i'm significantly less fond of it, cuz it just plain rubs me wrong. i like them in theory, so i spent months trying to figure out how to make them work and what other people are seeing that they think is so endearing and cute - i just can't find it. owen's treatment of tosh is just about the only thing i can't stand about him. he treats everyone poorly, but most of the rest of the cast defends themself (or even hit back, like ianto and gwen, and thats why i ship them with him! it’s spicy! i love balanced unhealthy dynamics in fiction hfdsjkf i can’t lie) - but tosh just lets him, creating an unhealthy power imbalance where she’s just getting hurt over and over again, and it makes me wanna fucking punch him cuz she does Not deserve that. i want him far away from her lmao. except under certain circumstances, cuz i have written fic about them, and i’ve read like three rlly good ones (and the main link between them is tosh stands up for herself and puts him in his place! i HATE how he walks all over her in canon ughhhhhhhhh). additionally, i do admittedly enjoy the angst of their canon arc. i just think fandom throwing them together and making it cutesy is lazy, uncreative, and an injustice to both characters. i think the SHOW throwing them together was an injustice to both characters, especially tosh’s. they're tragic and compelling, ill give them that, but theyre not sweet, and i don't think they'd be good for each other.

(also worth noting on a show where everyone has tension w each other, imo barrowman & gareth and naoko & burn pull it off the least convincingly and have little to no chemistry. like every other duo just kind of sparks in some way or another, and neither of those duos do. which SUCKS bc they’re the canon ones. but it’s also heavily poor writing like they were doing the best w what they had. grr. like i still dont know what the fuck ianto likes about jack or what tosh likes about owen 😭 that’s ridiculous!)

the other ship i’m petty about is jack x john hart. i just think it’s far too popular for what it is. idek why that is, do we have a substantial amount of buffy fans in the fandom? don’t get me wrong, i liked john in the show + i liked their relationship as well, but i'll always be annoyed when a minor character gets more attention than the fascinating main ones.

and lastly i hate john x ianto, because i respect ianto, lmao. i can’t lie, if he was my fav i’d probs ship it HJFKDSHFK i love putting my favs in awful situations. but as is it just grosses me out. get him outta there!!

tldr: i don’t interact w the john hart side of the fandom, and if a fic is tagged 'jack/ianto tosh/owen gwen/rhys' i probably won’t read it 😷

Just a note: oftentimes I'll start writing in the middle of a story just to draft the idea, so...most of these don't make sense as openers lolol

"I missed you every day, Omega," Echo smiled.

This was a fluff fic I started before the last three eps came out, where Echo comes to visit the Batch (Crosshair included!) for Omega's nameday post-season 2. Crosshair's sense of belonging is nonexistent after working for the Empire, and the others harass him with affection till he feels better. Featuring my favorite hc wherein Echo kisses the homies goodnight. (The note above this fic reads: "Those final three episodes are gonna ruin the setup, I can FEEL IT". Yeah no kidding lol)

2. A clone slumped against the wall outside the medical ward, barely a shadow in the dim glow of the night cycle.

A fic set in the early eps of S2, where the Batch is captured by the Empire and Crosshair, but one of them is fatally wounded. The resulting panic causes Cross to cast aside his pride and alliance with the Empire. Intended to be MCD but after the finale idk if I could do that to myself again lol

3. Out of the blurry mess of light and dark emerged a pair of eyes.

A longfic where Echo learns about his new brothers, and his new body, post-Skako Minor. Angst-, Hurt/Comfort- and whump-heavy with abundant eye-themed symbolism and fun metaphors because I wanted to!

4. Many people Echo had spoken to found Tech confusing.

A fluffy oneshot drabble that I wrote immediately after watching the S2 finale. Echo and Tech snuggle and watch The Great Coruscant Bake-Off because I desperately needed to write someone hugging Tech.

5. The book was black and nondescript, carefully looked after, about the size of Echo's hand.

Crosshair's enhancements make him a talented artist. Mostly fluff with Cross + Echo bonding. This one is like 80% complete now that I read it again I think???

6. "Hunter said Tech didn't like being touched."

Another fluffy oneshot where Tech dislikes most touch but loves being compressed as hard as humanly possible (I'm noticing a trend???). Cuddle piles ensue. The title for this one in my wip doc is "Love is stored in the squish"

7. There was something he had heard Cut say to his family, something he realized none of them had ever said to each other.

Fluffy oneshot with Tech + Wrecker bonding.

8. Underneath the tangle of wires was a toothpick.

Tech bottles up his emotions in the days after the S1 finale. Pain, pain, and more pain.

9. "Are you happy with us?" he asked Echo.

A Cross-centric oneshot with so much pain!

10. Now the only remnant of Bumblebee's voice existed in Soundwave's memory files.

And a Transformers: Prime fic out of left field? This was to be the follow-up to the only fic I currently have on Ao3, written from Soundwave's perspective.

around what time in the show's timeline do you think chrissy and billy would get together?

personally i think somewhere in between season 2 and 3 since there's like, almost a whole school year between them and all that. not even taking into account in those calculations that he dies n shit just i think that it makes sense.

chrissy is popular even if she's not yet the Queen of Hawkins High (i'm assuming some senior girl is but who knows) so she's definitely on his radar and in his social circle so he's aware of her.

and i do think it's billy pursuing at first because there's no universe where chrissy has the courage to actively go after a dude with out like COMICAL amount of gassing up from others kjdfhgskjlghfds and deffo not a guy like BILLY HARGROVE who's all you know.... LIKE THAT (read: hot and confident and knows it).

billy starts to get interested in her past the like "which girls can i get with" level of interest when jason starts to show interest in her/talk about thinking of asking her out because he hates jason. he thinks he's a fucking white toast dickhead. he's like, everything billy hates about the midwest personified.

he's gonna fuck jason's crush. just to spite him. fuck that guy.

and so he starts to go after chrissy. hard. MAXIMUM charm. and buddy lemme tell you it's WORKING. she's going for it, tho she's also a bit shy and the pace is slower than he's used to. he's never really tried to get with shy girls for obvious reasons. but he's committed to this shit.

as they spend more and more time together the more he sees the all too familiar signs that all is not right in the cunningham household and that chrissy is struggling with some shit and a switch flips in his head. now it's not about jason. it's about chrissy. he's gotten to know her and she's just this little fluffy kitten of a person you know? he hates the idea there's someone in her life that's terrorizing her with even a tenth of the force neil uses on him. so he gets protective and a lil possesive bc he's billy and What's Expressing Things Healthily?

but his whole outlook on the relationship changes and now it's not him trying to put on the veneer of a desireable partner but him genuinely trying to be her boyfriend and to be a good boyfriend.

they get together after like, a 4 month campaign on his part to soften her up to him and get to know her and then he's just in the PIT trying to be the guy he thinks she actually deserves while also being himself.

and on chrissy's end she actually wanted to fall into his arms earlier in but was trying to not look to desperate about it. she genuinely enjoys his presence because yes he's all sexy and stuff but also she just likes him. she likes that he's a little rough/dangerous because it makes her feel safe ironically. she likes that he's so gross and crass because she doesn't feel like she have to be this perfect little doll with him. she likes how low his expectations are for her. she can breathe and be a person with him. the fact he's so handsome is really just icing on the cake.

so doing the math and saying the get together 4 months or so after s2 then it's like feb-mar.

Do you have criticism of the hdm show other than how it changed Lyra's characterization and removed the humour? I loved the show but I do tend to agree with your opinions on things so I'd be interested to hear them if you want to share. And it's been a while since I last read the books so watching the show I didn't have the specifics of them in mind so I could well have missed a bunch of things. Something was off with Iorek I think, though beyond his voice being weirdly Patrick-Page-from-Hadestown for no discernible reason, I'm not sure why. Maybe that comes down to the show making itself grittier too. Like in the book he is tough and incredibly capable and fearsome but he's also kind and compassionate and a fluffy polar bear friend. And then obviously LMM wasn't a great choice for Lee Scorsby, I think most people agree on that point. And they cut way too much worldbuilding with the mulefa in s3 and I get that sure, it's not the most action-packed thing and maybe would've made sense to cut when you're on a time limit but good god Mary playing anthropologist is my favourite part of that whole book I really would have watched a whole season just building out that world and society without any action or conflict. Also it was such a weird choice at the climax to make Will open a box and that box had god in it and god just kind of evaporates and that's that. Like that was the grittiest part of the book maybe! or ballsiest, at least. He literally stabs god! Why would they cut that?! they clearly haven't been watering anything down up to this point to try and pander more to christian sensibilities so why on earth would they chose this most important moment to water something down. k I kind of went off there and probably I'm forgetting some things but overall I really do adore it as an adaptation.

Go off!! I shall listen, I'm curious what happened bc I haven't finished s1 and have only seen maybe 2 eps of s2. I am sad to hear they removed the mulefa parts because those are my fav too… Idk if we're gonna agree on this one, but here goes. The only thing I remember abt it is that it was just insanely boring to me, I would pick up my phone a million times during episodes and I NEVER do that. I reread the books either during its first season or right beforehand, and I couldn't stop feeling like the show made everyone into dolls with sly faces, walking around and calmly stating their lines, instead of the memorable characters they are. The book has so much heart and color in it, but the show is gritty and gray and SO BORING. LIKE GOD. Every scene lasts 100 hours with Important Glances and Long Silences everywhere, interrupted by expositiony dialogue. And I am so sorry, I know she's a kid, but Dafne Keen wasn't good enough to be a lead on a show, especially in one as devoid of any other things that could distract from the acting as this. I liked Amir Wilson and the rest of the cast, but I was never able to believe her.

1. What are you most excited about when you start to write it/publish it?

I guess right now is that SL AU based on a certain show that takes place in the 1950s. I have currently only written half of a chapter and I want to for once wait until I have the whole fic complete (it's just an AU depicting 10 episodes, so there's not gonna be too many chapters), but knowing myself I might release it earlier out of excitement.

12. How far have you planned ahead?

Depends on the fic. With those I have written, then like a chapter or half of a chapter. And then there's my "Angie having custody of baby Vilu" fic that I just plan on releasing everything at once because it's very much just short, not very detailed scenes of them doing stuff.

There's also a week event I wanna make, where I don't really wanna announce it before I'm even done with all 7 written pieces.

15. Do you have any unwritten scene that you think about a lot?

Ooh yeah. Lots. I got quite a few, both from unpublished chapters of current fics and unpublished/unwritten fics all together.

One I can share now is this one scene in my upcoming Violetta S3 rewrite (which I have not started on since I am still working on S2), where Leon discovers Roxy is Violetta - but the circumstances are much different here than they are in canon, and his reaction is instead to continue to play along.

21. Is there any unwritten fic that you don't know if you ever will write?

Yeah, the "Luna having a baby brother" fic. It came from a dream I had once and I became obsessed with it for a week, and I liked the concept of Monica and Miguel adopting another kid and there being a baby in the mansion that sort-of got Sharon to get reminded of baby Sol, and caused some drama because Ámbar wanted to get Luna in trouble by "kidnapping" her brother to her room, and also a lot of cute moments. However, I don't know if I will ever get much beyond that.

There's also a lot of other ideas. I mean I feel like I wanna put dcla characters in every other movie or show ever sometimes. I had a vague "IT AU" idea in my head and that might just stay in my head.

22. Will this fic include more angst or more fluff?

Again, depends on the fic. Many of them will be very fluffy, but many will also be quite angsty. What can I say, I have the range.

I am in need of a good k/cdrama do you have rec for me 🥺🥺

id love to but if u were a bit more specific abt what kind of dramas u like or what ur in the mood for i could maybe be more specific with my rec? but i'll just list a couple of dramas i've watched recently (i think i'll have more cdrama recs than kdrama tho cos lately ive been in the mood for them also just more lighter dramas also u can check my rec tag.)

love all play haven't caught up with all the eps yet but afaiw it feels fun and sweet and im obsessed with the leads although ive heard that it gets reaaaaaally angsty in the recent eps. shooting stars good for if u don't wanna use ur brain at all and just watch something light and stress free (warning though there's a really stereotyped generalized portrayal of africa that comes up in the first ep and is constantly mentioned in every other ep so. yeah ). our blues weirdly i ended up sticking with this its not terrible or anything but also i don't think im gonna remember this in the long run like it tackles a lot of interesting, heavy topics/stories but idk why i'm just not invested in the drama as a whole. but it could work if u just wanna watch something u don't want to like, commit to since its an omnibus and u can just skip any of the stories ur not into. also the killer's shopping list for a mystery thriller-ish its kind of weak like, if u pay enough attention u can figure out who the killer is by the 2nd ep BUT it delivers on comedy and has an endearing group of characters and despite being obvious, manages to keep ur attention till the end (i did ff here and there tho towards the end) for a 12 ep drama it was decent.

my princess, the killer is also romantic, destined to meet you they're all minidramas (10 mins or less runtime for each ep) but somehow eat up full length romance productions these days with actual budgets its getting embarrassing. wanna also mention the queen of attack s1 and 2 i personally liked s2 a lot more but watching both seasons will give a better idea of the full story even tho maybe u could watch s2 as a standalone. make a wish super fluffy and cute, dine with love finally a good fucking ceo romance bonus this is good if u don't like ott corniness but still want something that falls into the tropes of the genre without sacrificing the romance, it has bad subs but i didn't find it too hard to follow it. love in flames of war might be the only "heavy" (lol) drama im watching rn and its Not Good but its fun in that soapy mess kinda way. also rewatched more than blue: the series recently if u want a good cry

LL S7 can't hurt me if I'm still writing fics set in S2 finger guns

featuring: skittish etho my beloved, can be read as platonic or romantic depending on your jam, articfox!etho headcanon as seen a little here, Bdubs is big of heart, dumb of ass, set in a meta LL setting (aka they're all ppl playing a game who discuss things BTS and take breaks)

The Nether is sweltering. An endless expanse of deadly environment, with the nether fortress they looted just poking out of the thick fog in the distance. The clacking of bones is reminiscent of the wither skeletons that tried to lay waste to them. The grunting pigmen like the brutes that caused Mumbo's death moments before.

And Scar's sword swinging towards Etho with intent; green eyes nearly swallowed by bloodlust like the netherrack surrounding them.

Bdubs has barely lowered his shield as a fluffy tail vanishes into swirling purple. The space Etho stood is empty.

"I thought we weren't supposed to use those abilities?" Scar asks, sword by his side and his eyebrows furrowed. Bdubs throws his shield on his back, running towards the portal.

"We're not!" He yells, jumping into the center with a final shout towards Scar. "Call a break, I'm gonna go after him!"

Bdubs snatches berries from the first bush he sees. The thorns scratch his fingers, uncovered by his gloves, but he ignores it in favour of clutching the handful tight enough they threaten to burst. The land is empty of any glimpses of white. Nothing darting between trees, or curled up in the shade.

"Etho!" Bdubs calls, waving the berries in the air. "We're on a break, buddy. Nobody's gonna hurt you." He keeps his eyes peeled, wondering if a spyglass would actually be useful here. Well, he thinks Etho would move too fast to follow. Bdubs groans, trying to figure out other things that could draw out the elusive fox. Chicken? Rabbits, maybe?

He jumps down a hill, tapping his free hand against his thigh. Where would a skittish Etho go seeking safety? He hears his communicator ping with a private message, sliding it into his hand.

<Grian> everything okay? scar said something happened

Bdubs sighs, smiling as he types his reply.

<BDoubleO100> etho's run off and hiding somewhere.

<BDoubleO100> im looking for him though!

<Grian> ok, ill hold the break for you.

<Grian> if i see him ill let you know

During the time spent chatting, Bdubs has wandered in Skizz and Tango's direction. The server is quiet and he imagines most of them will be hanging out at their bases during the break. But, if there's one place Etho might feel safe, then it would be with Tango and Skizz, right? Their two closest allies, on the server and off it!

"Bdubs!" Tango calls, holding his arm out in greeting. "Welcome, welcome."

"Bdubadubs!" Skizz calls, waving his sword in a way that makes Bdubs much prefer staying in the doorway. "And no Etho. Did he ditch you, homie?" Bdubs sighs. He crosses his arms, leaning back whilst Tango takes a seat.

"I'm looking for him, actually," Bdubs replies. "Neither of you have happened to see a small white fox running about, have ya?" Skizz's face scrunches up, but Tango's eyes widen, mouth opening.

"Where is everywhere?" Tango asks. Bdubs groans as he tries to mentally backtrack his footsteps. Curse of a new server, he has no idea where everything is yet!

"Ah," he says, smartly. A few seconds later he follows up with.

"No, we haven't. Where did you lose him?" Bdubs holds his hand up to gesture, resting it on his elbow. "We were in the nether and he ran through our portal. I haven't seen him since and I've been everywhere. I've been walking around with these berries like a fool, Tango." Tango snorts. He stretches a hand out, poking at the bundle of red. A few have burst onto Bdubs' hand, staining his skin and gloves, but they're mostly intact! He'll grab another bunch if he sees them.

"I came through our portal, grabbed some berries. I did a full lap around our base, I walked around the nearby forest… then I headed here!"

"Bdubs," Skizz says, leaning onto his knees. "Did you actually check in your house?" Bdubs blinks.

"Ah."

Bdubs' lungs are burning, heels rubbing and food half gone by the time he makes it back to their base. He breathes deeply, resting his hands on his knees outside the cobblestone hut. It's a miracle he doesn't topple straight off the unfenced patio sides. But, despite his exhaustion, he opens the door to the hut carefully, slipping inside. He shuts it with barely a click.

"Etho?" He calls, voice a gentle whisper. He frowns, trying to scope the room without moving further in. Is he hiding in a chest again? No, oh-!

There, against the wooden bedframe. Underneath the white covers is a fluffy tail brushing the floor, and a little black nose half stuffed under the pillows. Bdubs places his weapons delicately in a chest, crouching a few big steps away from the bed.

"Etho! Hey, buddy." The nose pokes out, two eyes following. Bdubs makes sure he's sitting on the left, where Etho's black eye can see him. "We're on a break right now, so you have plenty of time to relax," he explains. "So, I can just hang out with you, and let the others know when we're ready to continue! Sound good? Great." Etho doesn't move any further than that. If anything, he shrinks further back into the covers, snowy ears flat against his fur.

So, Bdubs pulls out his communicator. He makes sure Grian know Etho's safe and that he's letting him calm down. Then he pulls up Snake, settling in for a few rounds of it as he waits for Etho to make his move.

Which Etho does in the form of a nervous footstep. He treads one paw down on the grass floor. Then another. Then in one swift movement, he's curling up in Bdubs' lap, blanket still wrapped around him. Bdubs can't help a soft 'oof', head falling back at the pain of a fox paw with its full weight on his leg. But his hand falls to Etho's neck, scratching around the shawl and the blanket to reach soft fur underneath. Like a big furry blanket. With a blanket of his own. Double blanket!

"Why hello there," Bdubs says, looking down at Etho. Etho flicks his tail, only getting slightly caught in the fabric. "Yeah, yeah, here you go." Bdubs holds out the berries (he picked the ones outside their house, too.) Etho snatches them one by one. His teeth don't catch Bdubs' skin once. Inventory emptied of the sweet treat, Bdubs holds his hands up. "All gone!" Etho stands, nudging at his palm. Finding them truly empty, he huffs, curling back up with no intention of moving. "Okay, okay," Bdubs says, laughing. He resumes petting him, ruffling small ears. "We can wait here for a little bit."

The session continues as normal once Etho gives his word. But Bdubs and Etho sit together a while longer. Etho's shawl pulled up, arms tucked around Bdubs' neck. They're sitting on the bed, now. Far comfier for Bdubs, who doesn't have a built in layer of fur.

blanket warning that uhhh some of these fics are rated explicit so. beware the warnings & tags and such.

first one, obvious, is scenes from an alliance.

its a fantasy & arranged marriage AU where guillermo from the de la cruz clan of vampire slayers agrees to marry the infamous vampire warlord, nandor the relentless. it's a very different dynamic between the two of them because they start off as equals but guillermo is just as ambitious & crafty and nandor is just as controlling & bad at communication.

it's still on going (100k words and counting) and normally i dont rec fics that arent finished/close to finished but this one is so juicy, like even if it doesnt ever finish i'd still be glad to have read it. fully recommend it.

going 180 from lengthy & meaty AU fics is this really fun and cute one called better get a chaperone. it's laszlo and guillermo fake dating to make nandor jealous and it fucking rules and i need like 7 more of these little bitches right now.

i lied about the whales is a season 3 finale au/fix it where nandor and guillermo do go on their roadtrip but also try to talk about their feelings. so fucking good so fucking delicious go read it rn.

this one is rated explicit so fair warning, but scars is a rlly good trans guillermo/nandermo fic. do be very mindful of the tags, it is not a lighthearted fic!! but it IS very cathartic and explores guillermo's religious trauma & his transness in a very enjoyable and realistic way. (it DOES make guillermo's dad out to be extremely transphobic btw cus i know thats a deal breaker for many people)

a different trans guillermo fic that isnt as heavy is portraits, which is technically nandermo but pre-slash. its by the same author as scars but its entirely fluff about guillermo braiding nandor's hair and coming out to him. its just cute tbh.

ofc there's also this absolute fucking delight there is a shortage in the blood supply (but there is no shortage of blood) which is also very much rated explicit. its a season 3 canon divergence nandermo slow burn with smut. very simple and fucking entirely delightful.

if you like accidental baby acquisition, here's a short and sweet and funny fic about that called Guillermo Has a Secret, Nandor Suspects Cats, and Laszlo and Nadja Couldn't Give a Fuck, Except That They Do. the title says it all i think.

OHHH okay i'm gonna need you to read this one called you're dead (and out of this world) which yeah classic title but it was written post-s2 and pre-s3 and is a funky and really fun and super fucking interesting AU about guillermo having more than just quick reflexes and sharp aim passed down from his great (x30) grandfather. so fucking fun i love it.

human teeth is just... man. MAN. it's a post-wellness center fic about nandor's deprogramming and its so fuckin...... i dont even know what to say just read it i promise its good.

of friendships, reunions, and wooden knitting needles is a season 4 speculation fic where guillermo is stuck in england with nadja. technically its also trans guillermo but thats only mentioned briefly. its a really nice fic and it definitely helped to sate my hunger for season 4 content.

another season 4 speculative fic is ship to wreck which is entirely nadja & guillermo being stuck on the ship together and having forced bonding time and i LOVE IT. its done so well and its so so so fucking good i really love it.

here's another season 4 fic about my favorite concept to think about these days, guillermo being turned into a vampire! its called to die in england is no fun. contrary to the title it is a very fun fic, short & sweet too, feat. nadja & guillermo friendship.

another fun vampire guillermo fic is we all bleed the same damned blood but SURPRISE its another fic with trans guillermo and trans laszlo !! its transgenderism just for you!! very fluffy & sweet and just nice 2 read.

and to round this up for now is another fun vampire guillermo fic that is actually mostly just a nandor whump fic called deliria.

and ok i KNOW that doesnt sound fun but its my favorite kind of hurt/no comfort which is kidnapping & torture with some yearning mixed in. dont ask me why its my favorite, im not sure, but its pretty good fic if you just want to hurt emotionally for a while. though i will warn you the ending is not satisfying and is very open ended. be wary of the tags ok i warned u you legally cannot get mad at me.
