on the topic of relationships in the terror i wish there'd been more time to explore i want to know what bridgens and fitzjames had going on. i mean obviously being his steward after franklin died means they must've spent a fair amount of time together in fairly close proximity, but bridgens was the only other person allowed in that tent when fitzjames was dying and was genuinely distraught to see him go, which implies a level of intimacy and trust that goes beyond the professional. the best way i can think to describe it is i feel like bridgens would've offered to walk jfj down the aisle if he'd lived long enough to get married. jfj would put bridgens down as his emergency contact. do you get it.

Oh my god, exactly. That kind of thing is so hot. Belly churning, visibly distended with kicks and movement, constantly uneasy, and so heavily pregnant. It's obvious to anyone even looking in that direction that something's going on. And all you can do is rub it and pray it calms down before you garner more attention.

Unless, of course, you can't. And you're stuck with eyes all over, tracing over every twitch. Turning heads any time they hear your stomach gurgle, or your little huffs of exertion. Better hope it's not contractions. ;)

And basically he befriends the really weird guy possibly controlling the drone but has his doubts as to how human the drone's source can be. CAN WE TALK ABOUT IT !!! depending on how niki gets the coat in the first place there are so many brilliant (awful) directions it goes into - whether wilbur gave it to her (a final gift, a piece of me to carry with you) or whether she just. found it (i couldn't save you but i can dig through dirt and rubble to find what's left of you at least). it's like the world's least comforting comfort item. like holding a pelt or a skin or the feathers dropped by a particularly careless bird. it's the only thing left of her best friend. i love you so much i'll carry you on my back blood and sweat and grime into the new year
