this is a concept doodle of Warblerfoot (he/him), a warrior of SkyClan. I don’t have much going for him other than him being a relative to Oriolestar, possibly their brother :0

and last but not least, a concept storyboard regarding Waspbite (pounced on cat in second to last image, round cat in last image, she/her) and Jaythroat (pouncing cat in second to last, sharp cat in last, they/them) and the song Owls by The Dear Hunter. this is kinda like,, a jay hunting a mouse representing them chasing and playing with each other, somewhat meant to represent how Waspbite helps Jaythroat find their confidence!

that’s all for now, but I’ll be sure to do another one when I have enough doodles I haven’t posted!

The Stars are Gone

Arc 3 has begun. See our beautiful Arc 3 Intro below, written by one of our members and posted with permission.

The gathering place is empty. 

No one can see it. 

A figure that sits in front of the tall stones, their gaze unblinking at they stare at the moon with a pondering question in their head. 

Why? 

Why am I still here? Will I be lost forever? Do I have to be invisible forever? 

So many questions.. but the moon holds no answers. 

The stars are gone. The sky is empty.

What was done wrong? Could it have been avoided? The stars are gone. Proof that what was said in fearful tones turned out to be true. That with the souls seen, the stars must of gone with them. No one can see the lack of stars though.. that much can be inferred. 

Like the lack of stars, no one can see this faded figure. 

No one can see her. No one can see Lightpaw.

She remembers standing over her own corpse. Blood pooling around her like a river overflowing after a hard rain. How her siblings and other cats came to her rescue, but were to late to save her from the cruel fate of death. Larkshine.. she grieved more than anyone, she grieved like a mother. She remembers screaming at Larkshine, at everyone- 

"I'm right here! I'm here! Hello? Please- someone look at me- I don't understand! I'̶M̴ ̶H̶E̷R̸E̸" 

Sobbing as she desperately tried to get someone to see her. Someone to look at her because she was right there and that body wasn't her, it had to be a bad dream. 

It wasn't a dream. She died.

..did Pa- Wiltedstar grieve?

It was hard to tell. She turned a blind eye to his lack of interest for so long.. but it was unclear if cared for her at all. Because Lightpaw was there when he rolled over and did nothing while Infernopaw and Fallowmist tried to get him to move. She was there when they held her own vigil, how she curled up beside Larkshine and her brothers next to her own body. 

She was there to see Smolderpaw dragged into camp. She's always been there, because where else would she go? 

Lightpaw tried finding others. Jaythroat, Elmskip, Smolderpaw, even Basilsong. Lightpaw searched for them. She searched for someone to talk to because every day she spent pretending to be apart of her brothers conversations was eating at her mind. 

No one was found.

I'm alone. 

Looking up at the empty sky now, she wonders if the moon might disappear. If she'll end up forgetting what the stars look like, and if the moon were to vanish to, that she may forget its glow as well. 

She came to the gathering to hear about the other clans. With her newfound... ghostliness, nobody can say no to her going. She couldn't bring her new friend that she made up, Mr Acorn, because she can't pick things up. She'll have to tell them all about the gathering tomorrow. 

In this silent clearing where not a soul can hear her, Lightpaw lets out the sobs she refuses to let go in camp. Even if no one else can see her... it feels bad to let her bad side seep through. A sad, bad side that she never acknowledged while alive. ..and maybe if she cries and asks politely enough to the full moon, a God might save her from this emptiness. Trying to put a happy spin on this situation she's been in since death has been getting so much harder to do. 

"-I d- don't mind watching over them but... not like this, please don't make me be alone."

An irritable, gruff molly who never seems to be smiling. She’s far more level-headed than her sister and is usually the one to keep her in check. Although she shares Nightstar’s grouchy disposition, many of her clanmates are privately looking forward to her rise to power (she’s the lesser of the two evils).

hey there!! I've been using your blog quite excessively recently and I've named one of my cats Brokensong Broken- her facial patterns are strange And Song- her voice is sweet I'm not sure if this would fit for her name, tell me your opinion! Also what do you think of Merit for a prefix and Thought for a suffix?

Also I forgot to add this (I was the one asking about brokensong and meritthought) but what do you think of jaythroat? Because I've read many places that a jay would mean like a blue grey tortie or tabby and then throat would mean kind of a raspy voice but it's not a skill, and if it was it would have a negative connotation because it also can mean the cat is manipulative and like you said when you reviewed this suffix "a danger to the leaders position"

here’s the second sketchbook batch!

this is actually three different doodles, the top right one is basically a representation of Waspbite (rounded angry cat, she/her) and Jaythroat (spiky nervous cat, they/them)‘a relationship! then there’s Vanny in the style of a rockafire explosion animatronic! then Lincoln Lynx (they/them), one of my animatronic ocs I have for a weirdcore series I plan on making at some point in the future!

so for Casting Shadows there is a part I plan on having where a group of cats go to visit the Tribe. after it was found out that Rabbitheart (she/her) was meeting with Frecklefang (she/her) for info on RiverClan’s plans, rumors started spreading that they were mates. during the journey to the tribe, Finchsneeze (flirty cat, they/them), a SkyClan cat, started teasing Rabbitheart (frustrated cat) about it while Frecklefang (short cat) listened, flustered. they aren’t actually mates at the point but it is something they’ve talked about

I have a pirate ship server on Minecraft w some friends and I have two cats so I drew them :]

I drew some birds in a class I don’t like KENEIJRUD did you know that kiwis nostrils are ay the bottoms of their beaks? it helps them smell for food!

some concept art of Leafbreeze (he/him) and Honeygrass (she/her)c they’re siblings in WindClan that are heavily religious and are meant to represent a priest and a nun. I’m considering making Honeygrass a medicine cat instead of Leafbreeze but aren’t sure yet!

wip doodle of a scene in which Bunnyhop (orange cat at the top, she/her) defends Frecklefang (blue cat at the top, she/her) after Frecklefang found her injured and brought her to the makeshift ShadowClan camp. everyone automatically assumes Frecklefang, being a RiverClan cat, was the one to hurt Bunnyhop, but despite her condition, she stands up and threatens anyone who tries to attack Frecklefang, claiming she has nothing to do with her injuries.

Falconbreeze (they/them) is SkyClan’s current deputy. they are black with white and orange markings based on a bat falcon. I don’t have much on them unfortunately other than them being Oriolestar’s best friend and willingness to go along with Oriolestar’s plans to protect ShadowClan

Oriolestar (they/them) is the current leader of SkyClan. they are yellow with black markings similar to a yellow oriole. having grown up learning the importance of all five Clans, how ShadowClan had given SkyClan a place for them to stay among the Clans, and a personal experience as an apprentice where a warrior of ShadowClan (possibly Brightstar (he/him)) had saved their life, Oriolestar adamantly believes in ShadowClan’s right to live among the Clans and is willing to risk it all for them. after ShadowClan’s exile, Oriolestar immediately offered to provide them with shelter within their territory and anything else they needed to survive no matter the risks. unfortunately, SkyClan was eventually caught and exiled, but Oriolestar kept their head strong and worked hard to try and pull the Clans back together.

Redwing (he/him) is a warrior of ShadowClan. he has markings similar to that of a red winged blackbird. he is Brightstar’s mate, and helps keep him sane as he struggles to keep it all together during ShadowClan’s exile.

Spiderweb (he/him) is the current medicine cat of ShadowClan. he has markings similar to a golden orb weaver spider. he is mentor to Magpiepaw (they/them, later Magpiecall) and is fascinated by their ability to communicate with a magpie, choosing to encourage it as it must be a sign from StarClan that they were meant to be a medicine cat

Frogthroat (they/them) is a recently made warrior of ShadowClan with half-WindClan blood. they are Rabbitheart (she/her)’s sibling, and have marks similar to them, although mimicking a milk frog. they are mute, and often communicate through tapping and/or paw symbolism. they become mentor to Jaypaw (they/them, later Jaythroat), and are very patient with them and their anxiety about battling, choosing to focus on hunting first. during the battle to exile ShadowClan, they take one of Wolfstar’s lives, leading the rest of the Clans to become enraged with them. they were immediately captured in battle and disemboweled by Stormeye (she/her), with their flesh later used as fresh-kill, fur as bedding for Saltstar and Wolfstar, and bones as decoration by both respective leaders.

Hareleap (he/him) is the former deputy of WindClan and a current warrior of ShadowClan. he has markings similar to a hare. he was mate to Toadstool (she/her), but after he had their kits Frogkit (later Frogthroat) and Rabbitkit (later Rabbitheart), he was forced to give them away and cut ties with Toadstool because of WindClan’s heavily religious nature. he agreed to this for awhile because he had a lot of guilt around being a disloyal WindClan cat who disappointed StarClan, but as he watched his kits grow from the sidelines, he had begun to regret leaving Toadstool and wanted to be with his family regardless of what StarClan thought. after ShadowClan was exiled, Hareleap made his decision to leave WindClan to be with his family, no longer caring what StarClan thought of him.

Lionspark (he/him) is a warrior of ThunderClan. he has markings similar to a lion. I don’t have much more for him unfortunately, but I was considering making him or his brother Honeytiger (he/him) Otterstrike’s (she/her) mate.

Buckhop (she/her) is a warrior of WindClan with markings similar to a white tailed deer. I don’t have more info on her outside of her being Doefoot’s mate.

Doefoot (he/him) is a warrior of WindClan with markings similar to a roe deer. I don’t have more info on him outside of him being Buckhop’s mate.

man random thing about my ocs but I was thinking about Jaythroat and how they’re one of the only Warrior Cats ocs I have in my story that’s Not in a forbidden relationship (I don’t know why but I made a lot of them??) and I was like heehee yes I my little rule following guy…then I remembered that they like birds a lot (Frogthroat uses this to their advantage to help teach them how to hunt, so it’s semi important lore) and realized it would be funnier if they fell in love with a SkyClan cat
